Miller Picks Up More Endorsements from State Legislators

Anchorage, Alaska. September 27, 2010 — Joe Miller, candidate for United States Senate, picked up the endorsements of two more Alaskan legislators, Rep. Carl Gatto (13th District, Palmer) and Rep. Mark Neuman (15th District, Wasilla) both backed Miller. They join a growing list of current and former Alaskan public officials who have endorsed Miller. Among them are: Gov. Sean Parnell, Former Lt. Gov. Loren Leman, Sen. Fred Dyson, Sen. John Coghill, Rep. Bob Lynn, Rep. Tammy Wilson, Rep. Mike Kelly, Rep. Wes Keller, as well as Anchorage Mayor Dan Sullivan, Former Fairbanks Mayor Rhonda Boyles, Former Senator and Matsu Borough Mayor Edna Armstrong DeVries, and Former Kenai Peninsula Borough Mayor Dale Bagley.

Miller responded, “I am honored to have the support of Representatives Gatto and Neuman. Republican leaders from all over Alaska are unifying behind this campaign. I look forward to working with them for a brighter future for our state. With the support of the people of Alaska, I will go to Washington and help lead this nation on a new course designed to grow our economy, create jobs, and rein in out-of-control government spending.” He added, “The only way to change Washington, is to change the people who are there.”
