Welcome to the real ObamaCare, whereby a handful of leftists in Washington, D.C., impose the views of their big-money donors on more than 300 million Americans. If the Obama mandate for contraception remains intact, then liberals will next demand that Americans pay for other objectionable items that are not really medical care.
We can expect future mandates, under the guise of “health care,” to include sex-change operations, late-term abortions, embryonic stem-cell use and a variety of other procedures that many Americans do not support and certainly do not want to be compelled to foot the bill for. Obama’s directive for abortifacient drugs opens a slippery slope that would erode the moral authority of religious institutions in America.
Obama and the liberals have overplayed their hand. By baring their teeth, these lackeys for the Left have awakened Democratic voters to the real contempt that liberals hold for religious values.
All 181 U.S. Catholic bishops oppose Obama’s mandate, and Rasmussen polling estimates that 65 percent of Catholic Americans also oppose it. There are about 75 million American Catholics, most of whom have traditionally been Democratic voters but wouldn’t hesitate to cross party lines to defend their church leaders.
It will be fascinating to see how many Democratic politicians up for re-election this November side with Obama and against religious organizations. Liberals are just fine with throwing some Democratic incumbents overboard to advance far-left goals, just as the enactment of ObamaCare in 2010 cost many Democrats their congressional seats.

Most women in a certain age group use birth control. How better to divide those women and men that think along the same lines, than to stir up controversy and then spin it to mean ‘you are either for birth control or you are against’. All it was about was the antiChrist making the church OFFER and PAY FOR birth control. Now they will spin it ‘you are either against birth control’ or WITH OBAMA AND ‘FOR IT’.

This focus on religion and morality plays right into Obama’s hands. The real issue is that ON ALL FRONTS, Obama is striving for a unitary and even totalitarian state. The objective is to break the influence of non-governmental power structures and also state and local governments, centralizing power in Washington. Let’s be talking about the abrogation of the Constitution. I don’t agree or at least don’t care intensely about the particular moral objections but we need to uphold people’s right to assert them against the government.

I was raised a Catholic and a staunch Democrat. The last Democrat I voted for was John Kennedy, a conservative democrat.
As I grew older and wiser, I followed what politicians said and watched what they did afterward.
Cannot say that they are completely honest for the most part. They say what they think we want to hear, then do the opposite when elected.
The Democrat party today has made an about face, supporting abortion, passing Obamacare, wanting to completely control our lives, handing out tax payer (borrowed) money to those who do not wish to work (for their vote).
What has happened to our
Country?
I firmly believe in TWO TERMS from Supreme Court Judges, President, House and Senate. I firmly believe in reducing salaries for all, since they are only part time jobs anyway. I firmly believe in eliminating lobiests and earmarks; I also believe that staffs should be reduced, at least in half.
Put all government workers on Social Security like the rest of us and allow them the same salary that is allowed in Public Sector.
I further believe that we should eliminate the IRS and start a FAIR TAX system.
Our Government has become too big and controlling that we the people no longer have a say.
We must make changes before these politicians take the good old U.S.A. into Socialist, Marxism, or what have you. Obama said he would FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE THE COUNTRY. He is well on the way in doing so. WAKE UP AMERICA AND IN NOVEMBER MAKE SOME REAL CHANGE. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND WHAT OUR FOUNDERS STOOD FOR.
