Food Stamp President? You Betcha!

photo credit: usdagovIf all 47 million food stamp recipients voted for President Obama, it would account for 75.4 percent of Obama’s 62.3 million votes.

Harry Hopkins, FDR’s close adviser who ran the non-defunct Works Progress Administration (WPA), once described Roosevelt’s strategy as “tax & tax, spend & spend, elect & elect.” He believed that if Roosevelt put everyone on the federal payroll, either through aid or federal jobs, that Roosevelt would never lose. FDR won four presidential elections in a row before his death removed him from office. Did Obama use his idol’s model to win this election?

Food stamps rolls have grown by nearly 50 percent-by more than 15 million recipients-under the Obama administration. During that same time, the unemployment rate has stayed the same. Either those outside of the workforce have been decimated by the Obama economy or this administration is making a conscious effort to get more Americans reliant on government. Or both.

Welfare programs now cost taxpayers a record-high $750 billion. While government “charity” has grown, so has poverty-and so has the Democrats’ poll numbers.

The candidates and their PACs spent $6 billion for the election. Should we add the $750 billion in federal welfare to Democratic campaign spending total?

Helping people who were decimated in the republican recession is exactly what any Christian President would do. It is exactly what Christ would want the president to do to get food to those trying to make ends meet. God bless President Obama for being that Christian and doing God’s work.

toptwome: Granted bush was a disappointment, but Really, STILL blaming bush after A DISASTROUS FOUR YEARS OF OBOZO’S COMPLETE FAILURES? You’re so brainwashed with fertilizer that you’re dangerous. Bush wasn’t responsible for the Bailouts in 2007-2008; it was the demonRat-Controlled Congress who passed that; i.e. The pres does NOT ‘Cut Budgets’ (get that through you empty head). Bush tried 17 times to derail the Housing Crisis caused by the demonRats in DC, like Barney Frank, who kept Swearing before Congress “There’s No Crisis”; even though it was definitely heading toward a MAJOR Crisis. The DemonRats MADE THIS CRISIS HAPPEN, and they opposed ANY/ALL attempts to stop their run-a-muck spending during the bush years. These are historical FACTS. Yeah,,, keep shifting the blame onto someone else, because your Messiah is SO unworthy of Leadership that he has Nothing noteworthy of, except of course his traditional values of ‘hatred’, ‘racism’, and ‘division’.

As government grows and spreads as any parasite it kills its host. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at the misguided fools who call it the Republican recession. Clinton signed NAFTA, changed mortgage lending, to help the poor get a house, Obama was part of the legal team that sued Citibank for not making mortgages to poor people. Expanded government role in mortgages, banks were cautious about lending their money, the government rewrote the rules and shifted the burden onto the tax payers. I always hear “Clinton balanced the budget” makes me want to vomit. He transferred the Social Security Trust Fund to the General Budget. Wow, balanced budget? Social Security one of a long list of government programs to steal cash from the little guy and shift it to government. “Tax the rich and feed the poor” anyone who believes that has not looked at where the cash comes from or where it goes. Obama’s Christian Charity ROFLMAO 71% of the redistributed largess goes to the politically connected not the poor. Solyndra etc. GE got Billions in tax dollars and donated a bunch to politicians to enact laws and taxes to benefit them. “Green Energy” robbery of the tax payers and the destruction of the middle class. Of the 29% that goes to the actual poor 80% of it goes to very well paid government workers! Look at the numbers for HUD housing and urban development, where it costs almost $70,000 to house 3 people for a year! Look at the budget, the number of “people served” and do the math. Government “service” can really only make sense in an animal husbandry terminology.
