Republicans Allowed Karl Rove to Mislead Them Again

The crime: Mitt Romney’s inexplicable defeat. The suspects: everybody in the world, except the people who really deserve it.

The first obvious target, of course, is Mitt Romney himself, who managed to lose to a president with one of the worst economic records in memory. Then eyes turned to Romney’s campaign staff, which somehow could not turn a vibrant, brilliant, Cary Grant–in–the–making into the next president of the United States. Perhaps the fault lies with President Obama, who only pretended that nobody in America liked him. Or it was those tricky young people, who somehow managed to vote when everyone assumed they were too lazy to bother. Perhaps it was Nate Silver and his crazy belief in “theory” and “science.” Or the latest suspects: Martha Raddatz and Candy Crowley in the conservatory with the lead pipe.

Personally I love scapegoating as much as the next guy—was Jar Jar Binks really the only reason the Star Wars prequels were terrible?—but I can’t let them pin this one on Martha and Candy. Nor can I allow Republicans to pull an O.J.—stopping at nothing until they find the “real killers” of the 2012 campaign.

We know where they are. We know who they are. We’ve been here before. Years ago, as an escapee of the George W. Bush administration, I wrote a whole book about it. The only question is whether or not enough Republicans want to do anything to solve the problem.

This is not the first election cycle in which Republicans have been shell-shocked by reality. Six years earlier, Republicans across the country believed they would retain control of the House and Senate. That’s because Karl Rove and his acolytes in the Bush administration and the Republican Party told us so.

The Republican party will never grow until the RINO’s like McCain, Graham…the ones who have made their fortune in politics are gone and replaced by real conservatives because I believe that the majority of people are still conservatives. We’ll see how this plays out over the next four years…I believe that the “pain” will be quite evident if we still have a country left. You see, elections have consequences. The younger generation of this country have never had to really “do without”, but they are fixing to get a dose of reality…the Fed cannot continue to print worthless money, and the unions cannot continue to get their benefits because cities and states cannot sustain them. I hope this country does feel the pain, so much so that the morons who voted for the muslim communist see their mistake. As the old saying goes, will they learn from the mistake? That is the question.

Conservative problems are more basic the RINOs. American voters are the real problem. Compliments of government education in one form or another, the majority of voters realize that they can vote themselves onto a gravy train. The voters already on the gravy train vote to make sure they stay there. All the voters on the gravy train out number the producers. However, only so much can be siphoned from the production process before it collapses and chaos prevails. The producers must be prepared for this chaos because only those who are prepared will survive.

  • Don’t forget Sunewnew he told everyone he knew how to run the campaign and needed no advise. Well the campaign accepted no advise so must accept all the blame Rove should just waddle off into the sunset and bother us no more, he can do his fantastic interpretive dance all he wants but please just not on TV. PS he can take Hannity,O’Reilly and half of Fox with him.

  • Rove, the RINOs and include FoxNews in, once again, forcing a candidate upon us, that the conservatives did not want. The Tea Party needs to unify and start a strong third party that the Republicans will have to reckon with.

Enough of this genius already! He needs to go crawl under his rock and stay there.

If the conservative media is going to get into bed with a candiate than they need to pick one stay with him/her and spread the message. The mainstream media bought and gave the election to Obama in 2012 as they did in 08. The Republican party needs to change there style and fight fire with fire and quit pussy footing around or our country will go the same way all great republics went in the ditch with the rest of the trash on that log road to destruction.

  • liberty76

When will Republicans wake up and see Rove is NOT conservative and he is ruining the Party?

  • The GOP will NEVER win again unless they get ride of Rove, his whiteboard and the fools at the top who don’t have a clue!
