Cruz to Rahm: Don’t Mess with Texas

Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) has a message for firearms manufacturers and banks under attack from Chicago Democratic Mayor Rahm Emanuel: Texas welcomes you.

Cruz pilloried Emanuel’s gun-control efforts and invited executives to consider the warmer, friendlier climes of the Lone Star State in a Tuesday letter to the CEOs of Bank of America, TD Bank, Sturm & Ruger, and Smith & Wesson.

Emanuel pressured banks to stop extending lines of credit to firearms manufactures in a letter sent Friday.

Cruz responded that such actions “call into doubt the claims of President Barack Obama and Washington Democrats that they do not seek to strip Americans of our Second Amendment rights.”

“You may be understandably concerned that there are risks to refusing to comply with the demands of a politician who has earned the nickname, ‘The Godfather.'”

Godfather my royal rump – Hitler would be a better nickname.

  • Nice comments on Texas from the newest Senator on the block in DC but I would be more impressed about this if his wife did not belong to the Council on Foreign Relations, a known agency to take down the Constitution. Think about it!

Be careful what you offer or ask for Senator. You could open the door to a lot of the anti-gun supporters. You already have enough troubles along your southern border, you don’t need problems from the north. Your offer is very tempting. At least in Texas one can carry a gun openly and not have to worry much about the law stopping them for it. Im from Ohio, and though we have CC laws, I don’t believe we should even have those. I was once stopped many years ago in the 1960s for carrying a pistol openly just going out to shoot mark, my gun was confiscated, and I never seen it again. And it was just a 2″barreled 22 cal. I will not carry another one in the open again, not in Ohio. I can’t afford to buy a pistol every time a cop decides he wants to take the one I have. I would like to have a small arsenal, but I certainly can’t afford that.
I believe you will need some real Patriots down there before it’s over. In my opinion you will not only be fighting for our rights and freedom across our country, but will also have to fight along the border against the invasion from the south. The cartels that are run by Mexican officials and madmen are committing acts of war on the U.S. with so many people coming across the border and killing our citizens. With such high numbers, it is more like an intended invasion, than immigration. It must be stopped, and it can’t be stopped without rifles and other weapons that they are trying to ban. I truly wish you the best in your efforts.
God bless Texas, and God bless the U.S.A.

That is illegal seizure and theft of private property. Which is against the Constitution. Prosecute the one who did it and sue the crap out the town and police department.
