Constitutional Law Expert KrisAnne Hall: DC is “Hopeless,” the Only Answer is the States [+video]

Lecturer and Author (“Sovereign Duty”), KrisAnne Hall says that activists should give up on Washington and focus on the states where they can really make a difference. Ms. Hall notes that the federal government is more like a “school yard bully” that, when confronted by states rights activists, will back down as it doesn’t have the manpower to enforce the unconstitutional laws its passed. She also talks about the problems of the judiciary and the blessing in disguise of Obama’s veto of the Keystone Pipeline.

From KrisAnneHall.com:

KrisAnne Hall is an attorney and former prosecutor who travels the country teaching the Constitution and the history that gave us our founding documents. KrisAnne will connect the dots for you like no one else can! Host of The KrisAnne Hall Show, she pulls no punches, puts Liberty First and gives no quarter to those who hide behind party labels. Like no other host, KrisAnne will tell you what the founders had to say on today’s relevant issues .

KrisAnne is a disabled Army veteran, a Russian linguist, a mother, a pastor’s wife and a patriot. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, she received her undergraduate degree in Bio-Chemistry from Blackburn College in 1991 and her J.D. from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law and is a former Russian Linguist for the US Army. KrisAnne worked as a state prosecutor and with a prominent law firm defending religious liberty and First Amendment rights. KrisAnne lives in North Florida with her husband JC (a pastor and former Russian instructor for the US Navy) and their adopted son Colton.

Here she is in her own words:

“Right up front there are some things that I need to tell you about myself. I want you to know where I came from and how I got to where I am today. I don’t want to ever be accused of deception or dishonesty. So, in full disclosure:

I was not born a Constitutionalist. I did not live my life with an inherent understanding of Liberty and what is necessary to defend it. I was not raised a Christian. For some, these things will be a stumbling block, so you need to know from me.

I was raised a Democrat. The only thing more evil than Satan was a Republican in my home. There were no choices to be made in voting…straight Democrat party line was the only choice.

I was an environmentalist. An ardent environmentalist. Some of my best friends were members of Green Peace and I supported the WWF and PETA. I was a vegetarian by ideology, not for health reasons, for almost 15 years.

I believed in the “good” of scientific manipulations of food and the necessity of vaccines. Not only believed this, but helped create them when I was a biochemist for Monsanto.

I believed in Global Warming and defended it vigorously. I believed in the Big Bang and openly criticized those who believed in creationism as ignorant and misled.

I believed Government’s duty and purpose was to be a provider for the people. I supported programs that would give the government more control over the people. I even believed a One World Government was the best way to go to ensure “global peace.” I supported the principles of socialism, although I cannot claim to have known at the time it was socialism, per se, that I supported.

I supported abortion and often openly condemned others for being pro-life. I have argued with abortion protesters on street corners and called them names that I am not proud of._BPP0228

I was not only not a Christian, but I practiced many other religions, including many occult versions. I was bitter against God and felt that only ignorant, weak people needed faith. I was too intelligent and too educated for such a feeble crutch.

I was not born with the knowledge that I have now. I did not wake up one morning with a divine epiphany. I traveled a long road. I learned some hard and painful lessons. My beliefs were challenged and I came to know the Truth.

I am able to stand firm on what I believe because I have discovered the difference between truth and lies. I am able to defend the truth because I walked the path. I can show you my path of discovery, and to be guaranteed it is not tied to any political motivation or personal gain…unless you call the liberation that comes from knowing the truth in the face of lies, a personal gain.

So when someone says to you…”Did you know that person used to be associated with this or that group or used to believe this… How can you possibly believe him now?” Remember this story.

It is good to question someone’s “transformation”. You SHOULD do that. If they cannot show you that path, step by step, you should question their motivations.

But do not discount someone’s current position just because of who they USED to be or who they USED to associate with or what they USED to believe. Sometimes it is NOT a selfish or deceptive motivation, but a path to enlightenment. We all had to wake up somehow.

Just so you know where I stand.” -KrisAnne Hall

  • Returning power (via Amendment 10) to the States is NOT the answer for our country. When biblical standards are rejected, State governments are just as wicked as is the federal government. State government not founded on Yahweh’s immutable moral law reflect just another instance of every man (whether individually, collectively, or by representation) doing that which is right in their own eyes, per Judges 21:25.

America’s only answer is a return to Yahweh the God of the Bible, His Son as the Savior of the remnant, and His morality as found in His perfect law and altogether righteous judgments (Psalm 19:7-9) for society.

I won’t argue the religious angle because I concur however: as a country, if we wish to live with mans government…the USA as designed with the power residing in the States is the only answer. We cannot get all to adopt God and Jesus. This has always been known. Doesn’t mean stop trying but heaven is a small place compared to Hell. Let’s work the best we can with man to make it work while here on Earth.

      • John, thanks for responding.

But, why would we want to live with finite man’s capricious government based upon man’s fickle traditions (Matthew 15:6-9) when we ould instead be living by Yahweh’s immutable perfect law of liberty (Psalm 19:7-11)?

“Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as Yahweh my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as Yahweh our God is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?” (Deuteronomy 4:5-8)

“…Alexis de Tocqueville, Democracy in America, 1835 : ‘They [the 17th-century Colonials] exercised the rights of
sovereignty; they named their magistrates, concluded peace or declared
war, made police regulations, and enacted laws as if their allegiance
was due only to God. Nothing can be more curious and, at the same time
more instructive, than the legislation of that period; it is there that
the solution of the great social problem which the United States now
presents to the world is to be found [in perfect fulfillment of Deuteronomy 4:5-8].

        ‘Amongst these documents we
shall notice, as especially characteristic, the code of laws promulgated
by the little State of Connecticut in 1650. The legislators of
Connecticut begin with the penal laws, and … they borrow their
provisions from the text of Holy Writ … copied verbatim from the books of Exodus, Leviticus, and
Deuteronomy. Blasphemy, sorcery, adultery, and rape were punished with
        death….’23

        “America was exalted in the
eyes of the world because of her applied righteousness, embodied in
Yahweh’s perfect law. Since 1788, when the United States of America, as a
nation, stopped following Yahweh’s laws and began following the laws of
WE THE PEOPLE, our legislation has ceased providing righteous
instruction to others. Instead, the rest of the world now holds America
in disdain. If America hopes to regain her favored status in the eyes of
the world, she must return to her original Constitution….”

Solely because when you begin a political conversation these days with a religious point of view; immediately over 50% of the populations will shut you out of the discussion. Get the feds out of our lives via the legal methods provided in the constitution and elect people (as much as possible) that will lead based on the Godly principles you desire. Demanding a government based on any religion puts the argument in the realm of Islam and others that have deemed their god must rule on Earth for all. No religion will win over all peoples to their own view of God so; here on Earth…do the best we can with man’s government and for my money; the USA as originally conceived is he best form of Government on Earth.

          • As ambassadors of our King, His kingdom, and His moral laws, it matters not how many people shut us out. Ours is to plant the seeds, His is to bring the increase.

Furthermore, Yahweh as sovereign and His law as supreme holds the only answer for saving America from the precipice of moral depravity and destruction, where we find ourselves today thanks to the late 18th-century founders. So why would we turn back to their document for answers?

The Constitution has proven itself flawed, in need of amendment, and, worse, Biblically errant. Christians who keep turning to it for inspiration, direction, and protection are as irrational as a wife who keeps returning to and defending an abusive husband.

I would be careful of comparing Yahweh’s perfect law and altogether righteous judgments (Psalm 19:7-11) with Sharia.

          • StingraySFO

It’s not the Constitution that’s flawed, it’s some peoples interpretation of it where the problems reside. Amendments have been made that have caused the problems by those in power that seek to advance their own lot by preying on those that have no understanding of what the Constitution actually has provided them.
To think that by removing all government and living by Gods word will solve all problems is beyond comprehension given the diversity of religions as well as the criminally prolific population that has no compunction whatsoever to abide by anything but their own desires.
Given the state of affairs in the world, as well as at home, it must be of highest priority to rebuild our military and our standing if we are to survive as a nation of freedoms guaranteed by Constitutionally enumerated powers of our states and people.

          • Stingray, thanks for responding.

If the Constitution is not flawed (the same as perfect), why did the framers provide for its own amendment?

I hope you’ll agree there’s only one standard by which everything (including the Constitution) must be ethically evaluated: Yahweh’s immutable morality as codified in His commandments, statutes, and judgments. When the Constitution is actually examined by this standard (rather than a bunch of dead politicians’ cherry-picked quotations), it’s found to be anything but biblically compatible. In fact, there is hardly an Article or Amendment that’s not antithetical, if not seditious, to Yahweh’s sovereignty and morality. (For evidence, see free online book “Bible Law vs. the United States Constitution: The Christian Perspective” on our Online Books page.)

No one’s talking about eliminating government but returning to our 17th-century Colonial governments based upon Yahweh’s perfect moral law (Psalm 19:7-11) versus the capricious traditions of men (Matthew 15:6-9) responsible for sending America to the precipice of moral depravity and destruction.

          • StingraySFO

First of all, I did not claim the Constitution to be perfect. It has shortcomings by today’s standards, as was expected by the framers, which is why they allowed for amendments.
Secondly, as ‘man’ is far from perfect, whether in belief of scriptures or of any single religion, guidelines for governance are a necessity, and based on history of man’s inhumanity to man the framers, through much debate and consternation arrived at the Constitution as it was written in their day, but providing for adjustments to be possible with the advent of modern societies. It is the adjustments made over the past century and more that have created the monster now known to be the federal government. KrisAnne Hall explains it better than any others I’ve come across.
That said, I’ve got to leave on patrol.

          • My apologies for misrepresenting you.

Guidelines for governance is what I’m referring to: Yahweh’s verus man’s.

I’m familiar with KrisAnne Hall’s material. Regrettably, like all Christian Constitutionalists, she works from the extremely flawed paradigm that the Constitution is compatible with the Bible when, in fact, the Constitution is biblically seditious.

The liberty that KrisAnne promotes so strongly was formally and nationally lost in 1787 when the framers made liberty a goal (almost a god) instead of a corollary of implementing Yahweh’s perfect law of liberty (Psalm 19:7-11, 119:44-45, James 2:12) as the supreme law of the land.

“…3. Every problem America faces today can be traced back to the fact that the framers failed to expressly establish a government upon Yahweh’s immutable morality as codified in His commandments, statutes, and judgments. (Would infanticide and sodomy be tolerated, let alone financed by the government, if Yahweh’s perfect law and altogether righteous judgments were the law of the land? Would Islam be a looming threat to our peace and security if the First Amendment had been replaced with the First Commandment? Would Americans be in nearly as much debt if usury had been outlawed as a form of theft? Would crime be
as rampant if “cruel and unusual unishment” had not been outlawed and criminals were instead punished with Yahweh’s altogether righteous judgments? Would we be on the fiscal cliff if we were taxed with a flat increase tax rather than a graduated income tax?)….”

The only way liberty is going to be restored is the same way it came about initially, by force unfortuneately.

  • irtechie

I love her to pieces.. Met her online a while back when were making the same points, found out she did seminars and been a follower ever since.. It’s rare to find someone who can talk intelligently and without malice about problems we face.

  • Jon David Porter

Regan and Krauthammer had to go through a lot to learn the truth as well. Not an easy way to learn but like Saul/Paul…it sure makes a zealot of you. I do enjoy your insight. Don’t always agree and doubt I will ever find anyone that is 100% with me….but 98% is dang good.

  • ONTIME

How about a Constitutional Convention which is now gathering steam, more than half the states are now in favor…then the idea of term limits with no retirement for all elected and appointed government officials, a repeal of the 16th amendment, the progressive income tax and removal of the discredited IRS and finally ban all government special interest unions…..You want to cut government cost, stop corruption, regain your representation and put a end to tax anxiety, then consider these actions as a good start………………or you can lose this Representative Republic..

  • Silverback

I tend to agree that state governments at the leadership level answer to a higher power than the people of the state. Even if you are a principled politician you are either influenced, blackmailed or disenfranchised if you don’t agree with the leaderships agenda. As an activist I saw first hand the contempt and disdain the preening political class has for us. Politicians are merely meatbags there to uphold and protect the people’s constitutional freedoms and nothing else. Unfortunately they haven’t realized that yet.
