Right After Rubio Dropped out, Gov. Nikki Haley Reveals Who She’s Backing Now

After throwing her support behind Florida Sen. Marco Rubio in the 2016 Republican presidential primary, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley was forced to re-evaluate the field after Rubio suspended his campaign Tuesday night.

Looking at the remaining candidates vying for the GOP nomination, Haley said on Wednesday that she is now “privately fighting for” Texas Sen. Ted Cruz to win the primary election . . .

“Ask me when the time comes again,” she said. “But as of now, I strongly believe I will support the Republican nominee.”

At this point in the race, however, Haley said that her “hope and … prayer is that Sen. Cruz can come through this.”

Though Trump picked up key primary victories in Tuesday’s elections, Haley said she still believes he can be defeated. (Read more from “Right After Rubio Dropped out, Gov. Nikki Haley Reveals Who She’s Backing Now” HERE)

Good choice! There is still a chance Cruz can win… if people would quit calling it over before it is.
During the entire race all we have heard is that Trump has already won, but he hasn’t.
And, for some reason, certain friends, considered to be conservative, have jumped ship early and backed Trump, speaking as though they have no other choice.
They are even speaking like establishment idiots and saying that a certain candidate should be VP because he won his home state, totally ignoring Cruz, who also one his home state… and, who is the only candidate who can prove long time conservatism, and is actually hated by the establishment.
I’m really getting tired of hearing people say that the establishment hates Trump.
They do not hate him, they love him.
He is an actor and he is saying everything that he needs to say to get elected, whether he believes it or not, and that is what the establishment does.
Until a couple years ago Trump was saying the opposite of what he is saying now.
How blind and ignorant can people be.
Even the so-called Tea party people are constantly sending me emails promoting Trump, right from the beginning. This is amazing.
I really thought my conservative friends involved in the Tea party would go for a conservative candidate, but instead they have become obsessed with odd excuses involving supposed political strategies.
They don’t realize it but they have become absorbed by the political monster and have lost their minds.
They used to vote on values, now only lame strategies that will only get them another candidate that will fail them.
It’s better to go for the right candidate and loose, than to go for the wrong one and win… because in the end, you loose.
And, if Trump wins, we all loose.
