Trump Says US Military Schools Are Too Woke, Orders Immediate Dismissal of Academy Boards
By The Post Millennial. On Monday, President Donald Trump announced that he has ordered the “immediate dismissal” of the board of visitors at the schools for US military branches.
“Our Service Academies have been infiltrated by Woke Leftist Ideologues over the last four years. I have ordered the immediate dismissal of the Board of Visitors for the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard. We will have the strongest Military in History, and that begins by appointing new individuals to these Boards. We must make the Military Academies GREAT AGAIN!”
Per the US Naval Academy, “The duty of the Academy’s Board of Visitors is to inquire into the state of morale and discipline, the curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods, and other matters relating to the academy which the Board decides to consider.”
In the wake of Trump’s November victory, the US Army saw in December the best recruiting numbers in 12 years. In January, the military branch saw the best recruitment numbers in 15 years. Over 8,000 servicemembers who had been discharged under the Biden administration for not taking the Covid-19 vaccine have been reinstated with full back pay being provided. “From 2021 to 2023, the Biden Administration and former Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin discharged over 8,000 troops solely due to their COVID-19 vaccination status,” the White House added. “After the vaccine mandate was repealed in 2023, only 43 of the more than the 8,000 troops dismissed elected to return to service under the Biden Administration and Secretary Austin.” (Read more from “Trump Says US Military Schools Are Too Woke, Orders Immediate Dismissal of Academy Boards” HERE)

Trump Shows ‘Leftist Ideologues’ Entrenched In Military Academies The Exit
By Daily Caller. President Donald Trump announced he was firing the board of visitors of all U.S. military academies on Monday in his continued crusade against “leftist ideologues” in the military.
Trump cleaned out the board of visitors for the U.S. military academies, such as West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, Coast Guard Academy and Air Force Academy effective Monday, according to an announcement on Truth Social. Trump campaigned in the 2024 election on reducing so-called “woke” politics in the military, saying he would create a task force specifically to root out diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
“Our Service Academies have been infiltrated by Woke Leftist Ideologues over the last four years. I have ordered the immediate dismissal of the Board of Visitors for the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard,” Trump said on Truth Social. “We will have the strongest Military in History, and that begins by appointing new individuals to these Boards. One fired member of the West Point board of visitors, Retired Lt. Gen. Nadja West, gave a speech at Mount St. Mary’s University in 2021 on how diversity leads to a “harmonious community.”
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has also been a long-time critic of left-wing politics in the military, such as DEI initiatives and allowing transgenders in the military. Hegseth faced harsh criticism from Senate Democrats for his opinions on “woke” policies in the military.
