Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump this week walked back his assertion that he could eliminate the country’s debt after two terms as president.
In an interview with Fortune Magazine published Friday, Trump was asked how his pledge to pay off the $19 trillion debt in 10 years was possible.
“No, I didn’t say 10 years,” Trump responded. “First of all, with low interest rates, you can think in terms of refinancings, and get it down. I believe you can do certain things to pay off the debt more quickly. The most important thing is to make sure the economy stays strong. You can do it in smaller chunks. You can do it in larger chunks. And you can do it in refinancings.”
Trump had, in fact, told The Washington Post editorial board earlier this month that he would pay off the debt in eight years by renegotiating trade deals. The Post called that claim “nonsensical.” (Read more from “Trump Just Took Back This Major Claim” HERE)

There is nothing more fixed and inviolable than gender. A man endowed with male parts can do all he wants to act like a woman, heck he can even be a liberal, but at the end of the day, he is a man. He can don long hair, powder his square jaw, or take all the estrogen supplements he wants to make a statement, but in private, biology will always kick in.
Trans-ideology is no different. If someone was a liberal his entire life, and even after undergoing an ideological party-change operation, still promotes socialized medicine, eminent domain, raising taxes, judicial tyranny, and well… transgender bathrooms, that person is still a liberal. He can powder himself with some strong talk on immigration here and there, but the liberal plumbing will always kick in, especially in private or when he is caught off guard.
Any conservative still hoping there is something worthwhile that can be salvaged from a Trump win after yesterday’s comments is either delusional or not a conservative. It’s not just his support for the radical transgender agenda, the most extreme and licentious manifestation of modern liberalism. It’s the way he expressed that support. He made it seem as if the default position was that men should be allowed in female bathrooms and that it was North Carolina Republicans who came along and passed some revolutionary and foreign idea to actually keep gender-separate bathrooms intact. Once again, the innate liberal kicking in, despite the party-change operation.
What was even more disturbing about his support for the Rainbow Jihad against our civil society and private property rights is that he claimed to be concerned about the lost business for North Carolina. Thus, he is publicly telegraphing the message to the far left that, were he to become president, they already know how to pick his lock. Just issue a corporate boycott in response to any policy they don’t like, and Trump will fold.
There is no movement more fascistic and officious than the Rainbow Jihad, and Trump wants them to know he’s open for business. The D.C. local government is encouraging people to “report” private businesses that don’t have transgender bathroom arrangements. Does Trump want us to “get over” that as well?
And by the way, on the unlikely chance that Trump sticks by the tougher stance (among the many stances he has taken) on immigration for even a day of his presidency, he will capitulate the minute the boycotts begin.
Fortunately, one need not look carefully at Trump’s physical attributes to ascertain his true identity. He has openly admitted time and again that he is a trans-ideologue. On the same day he came out in support of taxing the rich, changing the party’s platform on abortion, and men in female bathrooms/locker rooms, his new advisor, Paul Manafort, who was a liberal lobbyist for foreign Islamic countries, had this to say in a private briefing regarding Trump’s botched transformation [via Associated Press]:
‘When he’s out on the stage, when he’s talking about the kinds of things he’s talking about on the stump, he’s projecting an image that’s for that purpose,’ Manafort said in a private briefing.
‘You’ll start to see more depth of the person, the real person. You’ll see a real different guy,’ he said.
The Associated Press obtained a recording of the closed-door exchange.
‘He gets it,’ Manafort said of Trump’s need to moderate his personality. ‘The part that he’s been playing is evolving into the part that now you’ve been expecting, but he wasn’t ready for, because he had first to complete the first phase. The negatives will come down. The image is going to change.’
Couple this with the comment Trump himself made in February: “I’m very capable of changing to anything I want to change to.”
Now, hark back to his January comment about being politically correct: “When I’m president I’m a different person. I can do anything. I can be the most politically correct person you have ever seen.”
Folks, aren’t you already tired of one Democrat Party that has no trouble with self-identity and another Democrat Party that won’t own up to its true identity? The only change this man will bring to that dynamic is yet another ideological sex change. (For more from the author of “Trump’s Trans-Ideology” please click HERE)
A line of U.S. flags that run through a tunnel beneath the Capitol Building complex in Washington, D.C., is going to be removed and replaced because of concerns over Confederate symbols on some of the banners.
In its place will stand depictions of commemorative quarters that represent all 50 states, the Committee on House Administration announced, Thompson Reuters reported.
Lawmakers like Michigan’s Republican Candice Miller, who heads up the House Administration Committee, Mississippi’s Democratic Bennie Thompson and even Speaker Paul Ryan all agreed the time to toss the Confederate symbolism had come.
“I am well aware of how many Americans negatively view the Confederate flag and, personally, I am very sympathetic to these views,” she said, the news outlet reported.
And Thompson said the move was yet one more step toward removing all signs of the “Confederate revolt against our own country” from the public stage. (Read more from “U.S. Capitol Dismantles Flag Display” HERE)
Federal law enforcement investigators are searching in at least three states for more than 500 pounds of explosives stolen from a CSX train, CBS News has learned.
CBS News Justice Department and Homeland Security correspondent Jeff Pegues reported a law enforcement source says the amount stolen has authorities concerned that the explosives could fall into the wrong hands . . .
The CSX train was traveling from Chicago through Ohio en route to Detroit. Somewhere along the way, investigators believe the explosives were stolen. According to a law enforcement source, when the train car of explosives arrived in Detroit, half of the shipment was gone.
A spokesman for the ATF in Detroit called this a very serious case. Technically the explosives are classified as fireworks but because they are commercial grade combined with the quantity makes them extremely dangerous. The ATF says they are a lot more volatile and typically only handled by professionals. (Read more from “More Than 500 Pounds of Explosives Stolen From Train” HERE)

Even as Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, maintains that no one will win enough delegates to secure the Republican presidential nomination on the first ballot, the campaign of front-runner Donald Trump is predicting Trump will shatter the number needed for victory.
“The Cruz spin machine produces more lies than anything else,” says a memo distributed late Tuesday by the Trump campaign to Trump surrogates. “Our projections call for us to accumulate over 1400 delegates and thus a first ballot nomination win in Cleveland” . . .
The memo instructs Trump supporters to continue Trump’s line of criticizing the Republican National Committee for the method in which delegates are awarded . . .
As the Trump campaign boldly proclaimed it could hit a higher number than anyone has said, a Republican National Committee member affirmed his position that Trump would not need to win 1,237 delegates to ensure a first-round victory.
“Once you have 80 percent of the delegates, the idea that the 20 percent will deprive the 80 percent is not viable,” said Randy Evans, a member of the Rules Committee, who last week predicted that if Trump ended the primary season with 1,100 delegates he would be the nominee. “Historically, insiders want to remain insiders and the bandwagon effect always takes over.”
Evans noted that Trump could reach the number he needs to ensure eventual victory within the next few weeks of primaries. On Tuesday, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island go to the polls. That is followed by a May 3 contest in Indiana. The primary season wraps up June 7 with California (172 delegates alone), New Jersey, Montana and New Mexico voting then. As the primary process draws closer to convention, candidates on both sides of the aisle are beginning to consider possible running mates.
According to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, the Democratic front-runner will be open to the possibility of an all-female ticket.
“We’ll start with a broad list and then begin to narrow it down,” said Podesta to the Boston Globe. “But there is no question that there will be women on that list.”
For many, this raises suspicions that Clinton will try to tap Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), who is wildly popular among some leftists for her far-left progressive ideology.
As the Democratic primary becomes more and more contentious, Clinton will need to find a means of creating inroads with disenfranchised supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders, and Warren may very well serve that purpose.
Warren is seen as an outsider of sorts who opposes the status quo through her relentless attacks on Wall Street and campaign contributions, a particular point of contention among supporters of Sanders. We’ve been teased for the better half of the past year about changes coming to our currency. First we were told a woman would be replacing Alexander Hamilton on the $10 bill – only to then find out she’d only be on the back of the bill. Many liberals complained that whatever woman did eventually make it onto the $10 would be getting the “back of the bus” treatment.
Some suggested that a woman on the $20 would be more appropriate. Andrew Jackson was, after all, opposed to a central bank (which we have today in the form of the Federal Reserve System).
It looks like the Treasury ran with that idea. As the New York Times just reported, the Treasury has axed their original plan, and it’s now the $20 getting a facelift.
The Treasury Department will announce on Wednesday afternoon that Harriet Tubman, an African-American who ferried thousands of slaves to freedom, will replace the slaveholding Andrew Jackson on the center of a new $20 note, according to a Treasury official, while newly popular Alexander Hamilton will remain on the face of the $10 bill.
It’s not just an abolitionist replacing a slaveholder – it’s a pro-gun, Republican, abolitionist, replacing a Democrat slaveholder. (Read more from “Pro-Gun Republican to Replace Andrew Jackson on $20 Bill” HERE)

Tribute was paid Wednesday to four brave Marines who lost their lives too soon, and in a most horrific and unjust way.
You might recall the heinous terrorist attack that occurred at two military installations in Chattanooga, Tennessee back in July, 2015 — that’s when a man named Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez opened fire, first on a recruiting center, then on a U.S. Navy Reserve center. Before the terrorist was shot dead by a police officer, he claimed the lives of four Marines and one Navy sailor and injured a Marine recruitment officer . . .
Now, Military Times reports that Purple Heart medals were presented to the families of the Marines slain as well — Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Sullivan, Staff Sgt. David Wyatt, Sgt. Carson Holmquist and Lance Cpl. Squire “Skip” Wells: . . .
“Our brothers were taken from us; your sons, your husbands, your fathers, your brothers were taken from us,” McMillian said, according to a Marine Corps news release. “But what cannot, and will not ever be taken from us is the incredible impressions they made on each and every one of us” . . .
But guess who was missing? Based on the report, no mention was made of any representative from the Obama administration attending the service. This comes as no shock, however, given that the only lives in which the administration feigns interest are criminals shot in self-defense by white police officers. A “chief of operations” at the National Park Service in Philadelphia who offers guided tours of Independence Hall stunned a group of tourists this week by declaring that the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence were the product of “class elites who were just out to protect their privileged status.”
PJ Media reports that Mary “Missy” Hogan, a federal employee earning at least $95,000 annually in salary and benefits, raised some eyebrows among the visitors in her tour group Monday afternoon at Independence Hall, with factual inaccuracies and disparaging comments about the Founders and the Constitution.
Several visitors in that group reported that Hogan explained to them that “the Founders knew that when they left this room, what they had written wouldn’t matter very much.” Hogan also told them that the “most important part of the Constitution written at Independence Hall was the ability to change it.”
And therein is the dead giveaway that Hogan is a progressive activist: the leftist insistence that the Constitution is a living document designed to be changed with the times according to the whims of the progressive agenda.
Hogan also got her facts wrong when she told the tour group that “King George III paid more attention to Parliament” than the colonists “because they were right there and could remove him from office.” Wrong. As J. Christian Adams of PJ Media points out, Parliament did not possess the power to remove the king from office then, and does not now. By Jen Lawrence. Republican National Convention delegates from the District of Columbia who are bound to or supportive of Sen. Marco Rubio tell Breitbart News that they are open to supporting Donald Trump instead.
Some are making the pitch that they want Trump to pick Rubio as his vice presidential candidate, but nonetheless the warm comments many of these Rubio delegates are making about Trump—instead of about Sen. Ted Cruz—is perhaps a sign of a turning tide in the delegate game after Trump captured at least 89 delegates in New York last night.
“I think him choosing Marco [as vice president] would make me more inclined to support him, in a more positive way, a more active role in campaigning because I really love Marco,” said Teri Galvez, a bound delegate from D.C. who the D.C. GOP says is bound to Ohio Gov. John Kasich, in an interview with Breitbart News this week.
“I am going to support whoever the nominee is because I’m Republican first and foremost, and it would be very hard for me to ever support a Democrat,” she said. “When I was single I never even dated one. I don’t get excited about Trump. He is the one candidate that I get excited the least about. Again, if Marco was chosen as VP I would warm up to the idea more.”
Even though she’s bound to Kasich according to the D.C. primary results, Galvez is much more of a Rubio supporter. And she’s hardly the only D.C. delegate and Rubio supporter open to backing Trump at the convention. (Read more from “#NeverTrump Movement Crumbles as Pressure on Cruz to Concede Builds” HERE)

The Nuclear Option: Ted Cruz Fails to Heed Own Advice, Get out of Race He Can’t Win
By Charles Hurt. Mere weeks ago, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas pressured Ohio Gov. John Kasich to get out of the race for the Republican nomination because he had no mathematical chance of winning.
“If you want to stop Donald Trump, there is only one campaign and only one candidate who has done so repeatedly and who has any plausible path to do so,” Mr. Cruz told a local Utah television station before that state’s contest last month.
“For Kasich, it’s mathematically impossible,” said Mr. Cruz, curling himself into a pretzel that has since hardened and just crumbled into little pieces this week.
That is because now the exact same thing can be said of Mr. Cruz and his hopeless campaign.
As of this week, it is mathematically impossible for Mr. Cruz to reach the 1,237 delegates needed to clinch the Republican nomination. His only hope at this point is if he can sway enough unpledged delegates to his camp. (Read more from “The Nuclear Option: Ted Cruz Fails to Heed Own Advice, Get out of Race He Can’t Win” HERE)
