Report: Aborted Baby Parts Being Used to Grow Human Organs in Rodents

lab-mouse-AP-640x480Medical researchers are growing human organs in mice by implanting dead human baby organs into rodents, a practice that stands to gain greater scrutiny in light of undercover videos exposing what appears to be Planned Parenthood affiliates selling aborted baby parts to medical procurement companies like StemExpress.

In a fourth video released from the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), Planned Parenthood personnel can be seen sifting through aborted baby parts allegedly to show what parts can be salvaged and sold.

These mice or rats are created by removing a human organ such as a kidney from a dead human baby and implanting it into a mouse or rat for the purpose of medical research.

As reported in Live Science, Duke University medical student Eugene Gu co-authored a study released in January in which he said, “Our long-term goal is to grow human organs in animals, to end the human donor shortage.” According to the report, Gu is also founder and CEO of Redwood, California biotech company Ganogen, Inc.

“In the new study, Gu and his colleagues obtained human fetal kidneys from StemExpress, a Placerville, California-based company that supplies researchers with tissue from deceased adults and fetuses,” reported Live Science in January. Gu contends that the mothers consented to donation, and scientists were separated from the “donation process.” (Read more from “Report: Aborted Baby Parts Being Used to Grow Human Organs in Rodents” HERE)

See the Caitlyn Jenner-Inspired Billboard That Ignited so Much Controversy It Had to Be Removed

18544239191_393efe2dee_b-913x512A Toledo, Ohio, talk radio station saw an opportunity to attract some attention on the current popularity of transgender Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner. While the resulting billboard certainly did get locals talking, the conversation was not entirely positive.

Social media users have since shared images of the sign, which has since been covered amid growing controversy.

While the host depicted in the obvious Jenner reference acknowledges the advertisement might have crossed a line, he isn’t shying away from future controversy.

“The billboard’s now down,” Denny Shaffer said, “so I don’t know what next is. We have another billboard going up next week.”

Though protests and petitions cemented the billboard’s fate, Shaffer has his supporters. An online petition to force him out of his job was met by an opposing effort to keep him behind the microphone at WWWM.

Nevertheless, activists like Equality Toledo Executive Director Nick Komives are celebrating the sign’s removal as a victory. (Read more from “See the Caitlyn Jenner-Inspired Billboard That Ignited so Much Controversy It Had to Be Removed” HERE)

1 out of 3 Americans Vote Eleanor Roosevelt for the $10 Bill

eleanor080515If the American people had a vote in picking a woman to put on the redesigned $10 bill, they would choose Eleanor Roosevelt, the nation’s longest-serving first lady who pushed for greater rights for women, blacks and Asians.

Nearly 1 in 3 registered voters chose Roosevelt, who has been called one of the most admired people of the 20th century, over a host of other women who played significant roles in U.S. history, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll.

Abolitionist Harriet Tubman was second with 20 percent of voters, followed by Native American guide Sacagawea, pilot Amelia Earhart and suffragette Susan B. Anthony, who each received 11 percent. Just 4 percent chose Sandra Day O’Connor, the first female justice of the Supreme Court.

“They had a lot to do with building this country, as much as the men did. And still do,” said David Tedder, 62, of Douglasville, Georgia.

The Obama administration announced in June that a woman will appear on the new $10 bill, marking the first time in more than a century that a female face will grace paper currency in the United States. Former first lady Martha Washington and Native American Pocahontas both had a place on bills in the 1800s, while Anthony and Sacagawea briefly adorned the $1 coin. Kelly Osbourne’s Immigration Comment on The View Sends Shockwaves

Kelly Osbourne probably thought she was raising a liberal point. Instead she raised a stink — and the libs were letting her have it.

The British-born boor — who missed out on inheriting the talent from either side of her parentage — tried to contribute her thoughts on America’s illegal immigration problem on “The View” Tuesday, and ended up causing a firestorm all her own when she implied the only thing Hispanic workers are good for is cleaning America’s commodes.

“If you kick every Latino out of this country,” she asked, “then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?”

It was meant as a jab at the billionaire Republican who’s made illegal immigration a signature issue. But it didn’t come out right at all. (Read more from “Kelly Osbourne’s Immigration Comment on The View Sends Shockwaves” HERE)

Female MMA Fighter “Transphobic” For Her Objection to Fighting Males Without Testicles, Etc.

Ultimate Fighting Championship Star Ronda Rousey improved her undefeated record with an amazing 30-second victory over Bethe Correia Saturday night, but “social justice” warriors were quick to remind Twitter users that she’s not PC-approved.

Focusing in on comments Rousey made about a transgender fighter participating in female divisions, the PC police flocked to Twitter in an effort to steal the spotlight from her impressive win.

In 2014, Rousey expressed concern that athletes who were born male might have an unfair advantage in women’s divisions after Fallon Fox, a fellow MMA fighter, came out as transgender.

“She can try hormones, chop her pecker off, but it’s still the same bone structure a man has,” Rousey said in 2014, according to SB Nation. “It’s an advantage. I don’t think it’s fair.”

Concern that Fox – who had a TKO over Tamikka Brents in 2014 that left Brents with a broken orbital bone, concussion, and staples in her head – might have an unfair advantage because of her biologically male characteristics left Rousey labeled as “transphobic.”

Duck Dynasty Star Shares Urgent Life-Or-Death Crisis With the World, Asks for Prayer

Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson shared a prayer request for a young girl that has garnered a large response online.

The request is for 7-year-old Katie Joyce, who Robertson posted a picture of on her Instagram account, writing in the caption: “Her family found out she has a brain tumor and its on her brain stem.” She added that “The doctors say we need a miracle. The only thing that can fix this is if we storm the gates of heaven.”

Katie, from Monroe City, Louisiana, was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2010, when she was only two years old. Doctors at St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., operated on her at the time, removing the tumor. She was monitored thereafter with the hope that she would not face a recurrence of the disease. Now, the young girl faces this new challenge.

Sadie asked those seeing the picture to also “write comments of encouragement & if you know someone who needs prayer feel free to write it in a comment & I will pray for all of you as well.”

One responded: “Prayers for this little girl and her family. God can do many miracles I have experienced for myself. I pray for comfort and love. Have trust in The Lord for he hears your cry.”

Another prayed, trusting in God’s provision of divine healing secured at the Cross: “Jesus, we thank You, that by your Blood this Beautiful Girl is healed, You bore every sin, sickness and disease on the Cross over 2,000 years ago. It has already been done. It is finished. And on behalf of this little girl, Your daughter, we receive it.” (Read more from “‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Shares Urgent Life-Or-Death Crisis With the World, Asks for Prayer” HERE)

Fifth Undercover Planned Parenthood Video Released: ‘This Patient Was Like 18 Weeks’

A pro-life, medical ethics group has released the fifth video in its ongoing undercover series that allegedly shows Planned Parenthood doctors and staffers discussing the sale of aborted fetal body parts.

The latest footage, which was captured on April 9, 2015, features Melissa Farrell, director of research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in Houston, Texas, who proclaims that her organization has been “doing research for many, many years.”

Farrell also allegedly tells two actors posing as tissue buyers that Planned Parenthood can “get creative about when and where, and under what conditions can we interject something that is specific to the tissue procurement needs.”

At one point, the buyers speak with her about “financial gain” over a meal, and at another point they are seen with medical staff observing fetal remains in a pathology lab — an incredibly graphic scene that is reminiscent of what unfolded at a different clinic in the fourth video.

“This patient was at, like, 18 weeks, I think,” one medical staffer says, while sifting through fetal remains. (Read more from “Fifth Undercover Planned Parenthood Video Released: ‘This Patient Was Like 18 Weeks'” HERE)

“SHAMEFUL”: Obama Administration Deliberately Covered-Up Human Trafficking in Muslim, Communist Countries

Several U.S. politicians sharply criticized the Obama administration on Monday over an annual global report on human trafficking in response to a Reuters article chronicling how senior U.S. diplomats had watered down rankings of more than a dozen strategically important countries.

Democratic Senator Bob Menendez called the account “alarming & unacceptable if true”, tweeting that “we must get to the bottom of this” at a Senate hearing set for Thursday to review the 2015 Trafficking in Persons report.

A Reuters examination, based on interviews with more than a dozen people in Washington and foreign capitals, showed that the State Department office set up to independently grade global efforts to fight human trafficking was repeatedly overruled by senior diplomats and pressured into inflating assessments of 14 countries in this year’s report.

Among the countries that received higher rankings than recommended by the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons were Malaysia, Cuba, China, India, Uzbekistan and Mexico, the sources said.

“It’s shameful that President Obama allowed a bunch of political hacks to alter the administration’s human trafficking report to the benefit of perennial violators like Cuba and Malaysia,” said U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, who is also a Republican presidential candidate. HuffPost Arabic’s Muslim Brotherhood Connections

“Don’t be shocked if you expect one thing and find something entirely different,” writes Anas Fouda, editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post’s brand new Arabic-language edition, HuffPost Arabi, in his inaugural editorial.

The warning is apt, for presumably few readers indeed will have expected the liberal American media juggernaut to launch a venture headed by two prominent figures of the Middle East’s religious right.

Fouda, previously an executive producer at Al Jazeera Arabic (AJA), is managing the website in partnership with his old boss, former AJA director general Wadah Khanfar. Their profiles may make for interesting perusal for existing Huffington Post readers unfamiliar with the Arabic-language media landscape.

An Egyptian national now living in Turkey, Fouda was arrested in the United Arab Emirates in 2013 on suspicion of affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) – an affiliation which he freely admitted had existed since 1988, though he claimed to have held no formal party role since 1995. A browse of his Twitter timeline shows his politics to be fairly bread-and-butter MB; recommending, for instance, articles praising “His Eminence” Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the Holocaust-revisionist cleric who routinely denounces Shiite and Alawite Muslims, to say nothing of Jews. Indeed, Fouda has himself on occasion found less-than-obliging things to say about his Semitic cousins, e.g., tweeting last July that, “Only after the latest Israeli aggression on Gaza did I realize the number of Egyptian Jews has increased greatly since the coup.”

Khanfar, however, is the heavyweight of the pair; the man who made Al Jazeera the titan of Arabic media that it is today. He’s also, according to ex-colleagues, the man who made Al Jazeera the Muslim Brotherhood mouthpiece that it is today. A former Baghdad correspondent complained that once Khanfar took over the reins, “the liberals, the secular types, the Arab nationalists [were] getting downsized, and the Islamic position [was] dominating the newsroom.” Former AJA Washington bureau chief Hafez al-Mirazi similarly said that “From the first day of the Wadah Khanfar era, there was a dramatic change, especially because of him selecting assistants who are hard-line Islamists.” Khanfar has defended his Brotherhoodisation of the editorial line as simply a reflection of a new “political reality” in the Arab world – never mind any Arabs who may seek to challenge that reality. Directive Urges English Teachers to Push Students to Question Their Gender

The National Council of Teachers of English believes teachers should work to promote “gender nonconforming” people and their issues in public school lesson plans.

A NCTE resolution passed in 2007 urges more teachers and teacher training programs to focus on LGBT issues, and to “publish guidelines and instructional materials and offer professional development opportunities designed to assist teachers in their teaching of LGBT issues,” according to the NCTE site.

To that end, NCTE recently posted a new “Diverse Gender Expression and Gender Non-Conforming Curriculum in English Grades 7-12” to promote an “equitable focus on issues honoring a range of diverse expressions related to gender and gender non-conformity.”

The goal of the guide is apparently to convince students to view the world through the eyes of someone who’s not sexually normal. Reading literature to students with gay or gender nonconforming characters isn’t enough, according to a NCTE blog.

The blog cited an English Journal article that alleges “heterosexism and homophobia are already part of the classroom, so we’ll need to use a variety of strategies to counter these beliefs as we introduce LGBTQ texts.” (Read more from “Directive Urges English Teachers to Push Students to Question Their Gender” HERE)
