Don Lemon Doubles Down on His Fact-Challenged ‘White Men’ Demonizing

On Wednesday in the WTF MSM!? newsletter, I wrote about Don Lemon attacking “white men” as the “biggest terror threat in this country.” Last night, Lemon not only defended his attack but doubled down on his nonsense, saying we don’t need to worry about people 1,000 miles away; the biggest threats are home-grown. In all of this, Lemon is trying to paint President Donald Trump and others as racist for focusing on the illegal immigrant caravan set to invade the southern border. The facts are not on Lemon’s side.

Here’s Lemon’s take from last night on his CNN program.

Here are the numbers on violent domestic terrorism, as compiled by the Anti-Defamation League, for 2017. The ADL puts the number of 2017 deaths caused by adherents of extreme ideologies in the United States at 34. Included in these deaths are domestic incidents that were seemingly unrelated to the hateful ideologies of the perpetrators.

The ADL goes on to further identify 18 of these incidents as perpetrated by white supremacists and two others as perpetrated by “right-wing”-affiliated persons. The rest were by Islamic extremists or black nationalists.

In 2016 and 2015, the jihadist attacks at the Pulse Nightclub and in San Bernardino pushed the total number of extremist-related deaths higher than previous averages.

Where does the threat from 1,000 miles away compare to this number? The mainstream media has repeatedly mischaracterized the president’s remarks about MS-13 being “animals” as his opinion of all immigrants. What are the numbers on recent MS-13 crime? According to a report by Jessica Vaughn of the Center for Immigration studies, from 2012 to the release of her report in February 2018, there were 207 murder charges related to MS-13 activity in the country.

That’s an average of over 30 murders per year attributed to a Latin America-based transnational gang operating in the United States. This is higher than the number attributed to white supremacists by the ADL.

These numbers don’t include various other Latin America-based drug cartels like the Sinaloa, Tijuana, Juarez, Knights Templar, Gulf, and other cartels. In 2014 just one hit man for a cartel confessed to up to 40 murders he committed in the United States during a trial in Mexico.

White supremacy and violence by its adherents are reprehensible and should not be swept under any rug. But it’s a fact that transnational gang and cartel activity, which comes from Latin America, including through illegal immigration, is a significant domestic security issue, no matter how much Don Lemon and others in the mainstream media claim it is not. Highlighting the heinous crimes of one set of individuals does not mean you support the other. GOP Senate Candidate John James Calls on Black Americans to Leave Democratic Party With Pro-America Message

With all the talk about race in politics, the #WalkAway movement, and Turning Point USA’s 2018 Young Black Leadership Summit trending last week, why isn’t Michigan Republican candidate for U.S. Senate John James the talk of conservative media?

James released a short but powerful ad Thursday highlighting his father’s experience in the Jim Crow south and how his perseverance taught him to stand for America.

“My dad grew up in the Jim Crow south, but he persevered. And he taught me faith, service, and love of country,” James says. “I took those lessons from West Point to the battlefield, and I believe America’s still worth fighting for. That’s why I stand for the anthem. I stand for the fallen. And I stand for the forgotten.”

“Despite America’s challenges, we shall overcome,” he closes.

James, a graduate of West Point, decorated combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and businessman, is challenging incumbent Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich. He is running on an inspirational pro-America message that calls on black Americans to realize “the Democratic business model is reliant on keeping black folks dependent on the government,” as he says in an ad released last week.

“Countless people have died for our right to think and to vote for ourselves, yet Democratic leadership asks us to outsource our voice on a straight-ticket ballot to a godless party that neither represents our values nor our economic best interests,” James says.

“The Democratic Party leadership cares more about the black vote than the back people, and it’s time to wake up.”

James is running as a pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, and pro-business conservative. On Tuesday, he was interviewed by LevinTV host Mark Levin.

Listen:

If elected, James told Levin, he would be the first African-American Republican senator from the state of Michigan. Democratic candidates like Georgia’s Stacey Abrams or Florida’s Andrew Gillum have captured national media attention. But James, a black Republican running as a conservative in Michigan, hasn’t had nearly the media attention those progressives get for free. American University Students Try and Guess Who Said What About Immigration

Students at American University in Washington, D.C., tried to guess who said what about immigration to The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Most of the students guessed the quotes read to them came from President Donald Trump. The quotes actually came from former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, as well as former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Many students were surprised to find today’s Democrats speaking with such enthusiasm when it came to cracking down on illegal immigration only two decades ago.

Watch: 9th Grader Attacked by Numerous Classmates for Confederate Flag Shirt

On Friday, numerous Kenwood High School students in Baltimore, Maryland physically attacked a fellow classmate for wearing a shirt with a Confederate flag on it, students say. A video of the apparent brawl, wherein multiple students are seen assaulting a classmate as a teacher unsuccessfully tries to break up the mayhem, has since made the rounds on social media.

According to witnesses in the school, the male student was brutally attacked while sitting in a ninth grade classroom solely for wearing the shirt. . .

“He was minding his business, honestly,” said Tra’shaw Holmes, another student. “They had no right touching him.” . . .

Another parent from the Kenwood posted a photo on Facebook of the student who was attacked. “My 10th grader sent me this picture! I would like to know what happened to dress code and school rules??” she captioned the photo. “Why would someone be allowed to wear this to school and not be told to change it? Just horrible.”

“The people on this thread that are saying the kid deserved it based on his clothing choice are no better than saying a girl in a short skirt is asking to be raped or a man with an expensive watch deserves to be robbed,” wrote Amy Strawser. “There is absolutely no excuse for this level of violence on anyone, much less a child.”

Staffers Reveal Gillum Is Hiding True Views in Undercover Sting Video

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released a bombshell video on Wednesday night that showed staffers for Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum revealing just how far-left he is and how the campaign is trying to hide that from voters.

Omar Smith, a campaign staffer for Gillum, said that if elected, “None of the programs that people are hoping for would happen” but “that’s not for [voters] to know.”

“So, let’s go back to Mr. Gillum’s platform, right?” Smith continued. “Raise the corporate tax in Florida from 7 to 11 percent. That will never happen. Raise teacher’s pay to $50,000, that will never happen. Give me another position. Medicare for all, that will never happen.”

Adrian Young, who works for the Florida Democratic Party, revealed that Gillum does not support the Second Amendment and wants to push for far-left bans on common firearms and accessories. (Read more from “Staffers Reveal Gillum Is Hiding True Views in Undercover Sting Video” HERE)

Migrant Caravan Member Admits He Committed Attempted Murder, Hopes for Pardon in U.S.

By The Blaze. A member of a migrant caravan traveling from Honduras to the United States admitted that he was fleeing his home country due to a serious crime he committed.

Fox News reporter Griff Jenkins was interviewing some people in the caravan over the weekend when he met a man named Jose.

Jenkins asked him why he was making the arduous journey across Mexico with the slim hope of getting into the U.S., and Jose admitted that “In my country, Honduras, I got in trouble.”

Pressed on specifically what type of trouble it was, Jose told Jenkins through a translator that he committed the third-degree felony of attempted murder.

Migrant Caravan: U.S Military Prepared for Armed Confrontation at Border, Leaked Documents Reveal

By Newsweek. The U.S. military appears to be planning for armed confrontation on the southern border with groups it considers terrorist and criminal organizations as a caravan of asylum seekers makes it way through Mexico from Central America, according to a document obtained by Newsweek.

A Department of Homeland Security memorandum sent to Newsweek by a Pentagon official and dated for this past Thursday details a department request for extra assistance from the Department of Defense in assisting Customs and Border Protection personnel handle “the arrival and the detention of the migrant caravan currently traveling to the U.S. southern border no later than October 30, 2018, for approximately 45 days to December 15, 2018.”

“DHS requests that DoD provide federal, state and local law enforcement agencies with assistance that is necessary to protect CBP officials as they perform their federal functions. DoD personnel may perform missions that require direct contact with migrants and/or the public and, at DoD’s discretion, may require them to be armed,” the document reads. Cringeworthy: Failed 2016 Candidate Says All Black Men Look Alike, or Something

She’s the woman who just cannot fade into the night. Hillary Rodham Clinton still says she wants to be president when asked about 2020. Of course, why should she think otherwise, as annoying as she is in the national political discourse? The fact that Democrats keep circling back to her is indicative of their weak bench. Yes, there are a lot of up-and-coming progressives, but no one knows who the hell they are—and their credentials are shoddy, to say the least. If there is any name recognition, it’s deeply curtailed by geography, like no one knows who the hell Sen. Cory Booker is outside of Jersey, Sen. Gillibrand outside of the Catskill Mountains. For all their hollering, the fact remains that Donald Trump is still on the path to re-election.

Clinton made these remarks in New York City, though she also decided to make what some are saying could be construed as a racial remark, namely by saying that all black males look alike. . .

Ms. Swisher did mix up Eric Holder and Cory Booker, which led to Mrs. Clinton saying, “Well, they all look alike.” Swisher was asking about the recent incivility in our discourse (which is still politics at its base level, but whatever), noting Holder’s remarks about kicking Republicans; Swisher incorrectly said it was Booker. Clinton did say she adores Booker prior to this rather odd remark.

Not all agree that this was a racial joke, but rather a bad impromptu comment made in light of Swisher’s error. (Read more from “Cringeworthy: Failed 2016 Candidate Says All Black Men Look Alike, or Something” HERE)

Watch: Hillary Clinton Makes Terrifying 2020 Revelation

During a Q&A at an event over the weekend, former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton wouldn’t rule out running for president again in 2020.

When asked point-blank if she was planning to run again in 2020, Clinton quipped “No,” then quickly added that she’d “like to be president.”

Shots Fired Into Republican Party Satellite Office

Florida law enforcement officials said on Monday that several shots were fired into the Volusia County Republican Party’s office in South Daytona, which resulted in shattered windows and damaged drywall.

South Daytona police Capt. Mark Cheatham said the shooting happened sometime between Sunday evening and Monday morning, The Daytona Beach News-Journal reported.

“At this point we can confirm that at least four rounds were fired into the building,” Cheatham said. “We are working to see if we can get video from nearby businesses but so far we have no witnesses.” . . .

Republican State Rep. Tom Leek responded to the shooting by saying, “The state of our political discourse in America is an embarrassment to all parties and those involved in the political process.”

CNN Says Trump Has Radicalized More People Than ISIS

There’s media bias, and then there’s total insanity. We caught a taste of that today on Jake Tapper’s program this afternoon. Julia Ioffe of GQ decided to drop the hottest of hot takes in a long, long time: President Donald Trump has radicalized more people than ISIS. Yeah, you read that right.

The panel was discussing the latest string of politically motivated acts of violence. Cesar Sayoc was arrested in Florida after sending explosive devices to top Democrats, former presidents, and celebrities. Robert Bowers committed one of the worst hate crimes in recent memory in Pittsburgh, killing eleven people in a synagogue. Of course, the elite news media is blaming Trump and conservative news media, which formed the crux of today’s discussion. Oh, and Ioffe was one of the ones who seemingly tried to blame American Jews for this shooting for their push to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Did Tapper push back? Nope. No…he did not:
