Houston’s Anti-Christian Lesbian Mayor Back to Old Tricks

The city of Houston, which created a firestorm of controversy by issuing subpoenas for copies of pastors’ sermons in a case over a transgender “rights” ordinance, now contends the pastors have no right to a jury trial and wants a hand-picked “special master” to review the evidence.

The dispute centers on tens of thousands of signatures collected on petitions to overturn the city’s “equal rights” ordinance adopted under the direction of lesbian mayor Annise Parker. Church members and pastors were outraged, and they collected the signatures to reverse the decision.

The city, however, simply determined that thousands of pages of signatures were invalid. In response, the lawsuit was filed to force the city to follow its charter regarding petition signatures and challenged ordinances.

Parker subpoenaed five pastors, demanding copies of any sermons related to her and “gay” issues, a move that was ridiculed by commentators such as Rush Limbaugh, America’s top-rated radio host, who described the mayor’s actions as “vile.”

“I think what that mayor in Houston has done may be one of the most vile, filthy, blatant violations of the Constitution that I have seen,” Limbaugh said on his national broadcast. “And I, for the life of me, cannot figure out why law authorities are not pursuing this. I cannot understand it.” (Read more about the lesbian mayor HERE)

Couldn’t have said it any better than Rush did. This butt ugly slut should be living in New York in stead of Texas. Must be a lot fags in in Houston to have elected her.

  • Although a trial by jury may be their constitutional right, it certainly does not assure them of justice:

“…Article 3’s provision for juries is yet another instance of the
framers’ deciding they knew better than Yahweh. The Bible offers nothing
    that resembles a jury system….

    “Most Constitutionalists
favor the jury system, provided jury nullification (a juror’s right to
judge a law as unjust, oppressive, or inapplicable to any particular
case) is in force. However, even if jury nullification were restored,
juries would still render decisions based upon each jury’s collective
standard of morality or immorality. “A jury drawn from the [Biblically]
uninstructed population is no better equipped to administer the just
    requirements of God’s law than a corrupt judge.”35 A jury awarded $2.3
million to Stella Liebeck when she burned
herself with McDonald’s coffee, and a jury found O.J. Simpson innocent
on all charges. Although it might be argued that it only takes one juror
to dissent and prevent a “railroad job,” most people lack the
independence and resolution to resist the will of a majority. More often
than not, today’s jurors reflect the type of people we are warned
    against in Exodus 23:

‘Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do
evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest
    judgment.’ (Exodus 23:2)

    “Juries produce, at best, erratic
justice. Without Yahweh’s law as the standard, jury decisions are based
upon the capricious morality of its members. …”

The left despises the Constitution (except when they can use it for their benefit). I can’t understand why they always deny their affinity for authoritarian totalitarianism even though they exercise it every chance they get.

Morons, Houston has many many morons, and to top it off the rest are so lazy that they won’t even vote. Go ahead be lazy and get what you deserve. Stupid is as stupid does.

  • wkj1970

I live in Houston. We have notoriously low voter turnout for city elections. She was voted in by the typical democrat base. The funny, ironic part of this is that the same black communities that voted her in are the ones who’s churches are being hammered by that subpoena. Gotta love it when they turn on themselves.

During the last election our voter turnout was just at 20%. So……..

I still say that the mayor of a city that has two of the most dangerous neighborhoods ( per FBI crime statistics ) in the USA should worry more about cleaning up those neighborhoods than bothering Christian churches and their pastors. Do her nutso proposals include Muslim congregations ?
