FBI Informant Campbell Tells How Russians Bragged That the Clintons Would Deliver the Uranium Sale

The lawyer for FBI informant William Campbell said that her client has told congressional committees that the Russians “bragged that the Clintons’ influence in the Obama Administration would ensure CIFUS (Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States) approval for [the] Uranium One deal.”

And, added attorney Victoria Toensing, her client “was right.”

Before CIFUS, on which Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sat, approved the Uranium One deal, nine investors in Uranium One gave the Clinton Foundation a combined total of $145 million.

The deal called for the United States to allow Russia to purchase 20 percent of our uranium reserves, giving Russia access to vastly more uranium than we have.

Campbell testified that Russia’s goal was to achieve global hegemony over the supply of uranium.

The Russians sought the Uranium One deal very aggressively.

In the years before it came up for CIFUS approval, Russia deployed 10 spies in the United States with a single mission: To get close to Hillary Clinton to get her to approve the Uranium One deal.

Fortunately, the FBI uncovered the nest of spies one year before the deal came up for approval. (The Bureau acted to arrest the spies when it did because one of them had risen to a high position in a company owned by Hillary’s finance chairman.)

Then, to seal the deal, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin arranged for former president Bill Clinton to address the Renaissance Bank in Moscow, an institution closely connected to the Kremlin.

The ex-president was paid a fee (personal income for him and his wife, the secretary of state — in their joint checking account) of $500,000.

To try to keep word of the Uranium One deal under wraps and to bury the story about the Russian spies, FBI Director Robert Mueller arranged for the suspects to take plea bargains admitting to minor offenses and then spirited them out of the country quickly — in a prisoner exchange with Russia — before the media could interrogate them. The spies were arrested during the Labor Day weekend and sentenced over Christmas to minimize media coverage.

The Uranium One investigation has great salience in today’s news since the two attorneys who oversaw the investigation into the sale were current Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and recently ousted Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe.

Mueller, as FBI director, was in ultimate charge.

Rosenstein and McCabe need to be investigated to determine if their handling of the Uranium One case was designed to shield Hillary.

Clinton’s role in the uranium sale only gained public notoriety after author Peter Schweizer exposed it in his 2015 book, “Clinton Cash.”

Dick Morris is a former adviser to President Bill Clinton as well as a political author, pollster and consultant. His most recent book, “Rogue Spooks,” was written with his wife, Eileen McGann.

Top CEO Goes All-In on Gun Control… Major Retailer Refuses Sales of AR-15s

If you are looking to purchase an AR-15 don’t do so in the aisles of Dick’s Sporting Goods or its subsidiary Field & Stream. The sporting retail giant announced Wednesday that it would no longer be selling the fifteenth model of the Armalite rifle, or others like it, due to the recent school shooting in Parkland, Florida, that left 14 students and three teachers dead.

In a statement, the company revealed that it was “deeply disturbed” by the events that unfolded inside of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14.

“We have tremendous respect and admiration for the students organizing and making their voices heard regarding gun violence in schools and elsewhere in our country,” the statement continued. “We have heard you. The nation has heard you.”

Dick’s Sporting Goods further revealed that the shooter had actually purchased a firearm from one of its stores. However, the sporting goods retailer noted that the firearm purchased at one of its locations was not one used in the shooting.

The retailer concluded its statement, adding: “Clearly this indicates on so many levels that the systems in place are not effective to protect our kids and our citizens.”

Then, in the following tweet, the company announced it would no longer sell “assault-style rifles” at any of its Field & Stream locations.

As noted in its statement, the company banned the sale of “assault-style weapons” in all Dick’s Sporting Goods stores after the Sandy Hook Massacre in 2012.

However, the company later reversed the decision, allowing Field & Stream, an outdoors and hunting themed sporting goods chain owned by Dick’s, to continue selling the popular firearm.

After the announcement, the company followed up with a tweet calling on elected officials to “enact common sense gun reform” by banning “assault-style firearms” and banning “high capacity magazines and bump stocks.”

CEO and chairman Edward Stack appeared on “Good Morning America” Wednesday to discuss the company’s freshly implemented policy.

“To think about the loss and the grief that those kids and those parents had, we said, ‘We need to do something,’” Stack stated on the morning show. “And we’re taking these guns out of all of our stores permanently.”

When asked to explain the rationale behind the recent change, Stack responded, assuring viewers that his company “did everything by the book.”

“We did everything that the law required and still he was able to buy a gun,” he continued. “When we looked at that, we said, ‘The systems that are in place across the board just aren’t effective enough to keep us from selling someone a gun like that.’”

And when questioned on whether the company would reverse the decision like it did after the Sandy Hook shooting, Stack revealed that the rule wouldn’t budge.

“Never,” he said. “We’re staunch supporters of the Second Amendment. I’m a gun owner myself. We’ve just decided that based on what’s happened with these guns, we don’t want to be a part of this story and we’ve eliminated these guns permanently.” (For more from the author of “Top CEO Goes All-In on Gun Control… Major Retailer Refuses Sales of AR-15s” please click HERE)

California Has Worst ‘Quality of Life’ in U.S., Study Says

Awards season is in full swing in California, and the Golden State just took home a booby prize of its own.

California ranks dead last among U.S. states in quality of life, according to a study by U.S. News, ranking behind New Jersey (49th) and Indiana (48th).

The ignominious honor reflects California’s low marks in the sub-categories of environmental quality and social engagement. The latter category measures voting participation and community bonds.

Californians scored poorly in part because they’re simply insufferable, U.S. News suggested.

“In addition to a healthy environment, a person’s quality of life is largely a result of their interactions with those around them,” the magazine wrote in a blurb accompanying the results. (Read more from “California Has Worst ‘Quality of Life’ in U.S., Study Says” HERE)

Teacher Suspended After Asking Students to Remember Him If He Died During School Shooting

A popular high school social studies teacher in New Jersey was suspended after telling students to remember him if he died protecting them during a school shooting, according to a report Monday.

Timothy Locke, 59, an AP World History teacher at Cherry Hill High School East was put on administrative leave Thursday after making controversial comments about the Parkland massacre, reported philly.com.

The high school teacher caused a female student to get upset after bringing up the aftermath from the horrific shooting spree led by 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz who killed 17 students and faculty at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., Feb. 14.

“He said the chances of East being shot up were high,” said Gabriel Ritter, 17, alleging that Locke made these comments during class.

Ritter, a senior at the school, added that he went to the principal’s office with the unnamed female student to voice their apprehensions over Locke’s statements.

Locke claimed later that day he was also called to the principal’s office to have his bag searched and undergo a physical and psychiatric evaluation. He was then placed on administrative leave.

“He made some kind of remark from what I understand, tongue in cheek, that if this ever happens here, ‘I have your back. I’ll protect you.’ And something to the extent of, ‘If I do that, I want you guys to erect a memorial for me in front of the building,’ in jest,” said Eric Ascalon, whose son was a previous student of Locke.

Ascalon added that other parents are outraged the teacher was fired over the remarks, reported CBS News.

Locke also discussed his hesitations over lack of armed guards at the high school since the “campus police” are not armed. The high school teacher previously referenced a 2000 New York Times article that stressed similarities between Cherry Hill High School East and Columbine due to the suburban location, top athletes and students.

“The bottom line is that I was very concerned about the security at my school,” said Locke. “I was adamantly concerned with the welfare of my students.”

Following Locke’s suspension, students started a protest against the administration Monday morning. A video shows the Cherry Hill East administration telling students that if they keep protesting they will get suspended nor be allowed to go to prom, reported the PhillyVoice.

Two students also started a petition, garnishing more than 500+ signatures. They called the administration suspending Locke “an injustice.”

“All I have ever done for that school is for my students and for their parents,” said Locke.

Frustrated parents are planning on going to a Board of Education meeting Tuesday.

The Daily Caller News Foundation reached out to the Cherry Hill East Principal Dennis Perry but received no comment in time of publication.

Major Data Breach Impacts Thousands of Marines

The personal information of thousands of Marines, sailors and civilians, including bank account numbers, was compromised in a major data spillage emanating from U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve.

Roughly 21,426 people were impacted when an unencrypted email with an attachment containing personal confidential information was sent to the wrong email distribution list Monday morning.

The compromised attachment included highly sensitive data such as truncated social security numbers, bank electronic funds transfer and bank routing numbers, truncated credit card information, mailing address, residential address and emergency contact information, Maj. Andrew Aranda, spokesman for Marine Forces Reserve said in a command release.

That email was a roster sent out by the Defense Travel System, or DTS, Marine Corps Times has learned. DTS is a Defense Department system that assists military and civilian defense personnel with travel itineraries and settling expenses from official authorized trips . . .

The Marines are still analyzing the extent of the spread of the sensitive data and plan to implement future changes to better safeguard personally identifiable information. But Aranda said he believed “no malicious intent was involved.” (Read more from “Major Data Breach Impacts Thousands of Marines” HERE)

Loretta Lynch Used Fake Name as Attorney General

A prominent Washington watchdog is asking just how many Obama administration officials hid behind fake names while they worked for the U.S. government, after discovering that Loretta Lynch sometimes wasn’t Loretta Lynch – for email purposes – while she was attorney general.

She was Elizabeth Carlisle . . .

The group was pursuing information about the United Nations’ questionable Strong Cities Network when senior counsel Vanessa Brinkman of the Department of Justice responded with some information and an explanation.

“For your information, emails in the enclosed documents which use the account name ‘Elizabeth Carlisle’ denote emails to or from former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s official Department of Justice email account. Mrs. Lynch’s official email account did not use her name, in order to protect her security and privacy and enable her to conduct department business efficiently via email,” the letter said.

Judicial Watch said that as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer, Lynch, Barack Obama’s second attorney general, “skirted public-records laws by using the alias Elizabeth Carlisle in emails she sent from her official DOJ account.” (Read more from “Loretta Lynch Used Fake Name as Attorney General” HERE)

Hope Hicks Leaving the White House

White House communications director Hope Hicks will leave the White House in the coming weeks.

Hicks, 29, served as President Trump’s campaign spokesperson before following him to the White House. White House press secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed the news to the Washington Examiner Wednesday.

Sanders said the decision has “nothing at all whatsoever” to do with Hicks’ testimony to the House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday. That testimony lasted eight hours as a part of their investigation into possible Trump campaign collusion with Russia . . .

Sanders told a group of reporters Wednesday that Hicks “had been thinking about it before” the Porter controversy and said Trump “is not unhappy with her in any way” after Hicks reportedly testified that she told white lies on Trump’s behalf . . .

In an afternoon statement confirming her departure, Hicks said: “There are no words to adequately express my gratitude to President Trump. I wish the President and his administration the very best as he continues to lead our country.” (Read more from “Hope Hicks Leaving the White House” HERE)

$40,000 Fine for Small Offense Is Cops’ New ‘Weapon of Mass Destruction’

Tyson Timbs knew he messed up when he was caught selling a couple of grams of drugs to an undercover cop, and he pleaded guilty, served a year of house arrest and paid $1,200 . . .

Then a private law firm notified him of an additional $40,000 fine for the same offense, through the confiscation of his truck, which would be used for the personal benefit of the lawyers and the cops in his Indiana town.

That would have been impossible had the fine been issues by the federal government, because the Excessive Fines Clause of the Eighth Amendment prohibits such actions. But some cities and towns aren’t convinced they should follow that constitutional principle.

So the case has been appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court where the justices are being asked to decide whether it’s allowable under the Constitution for municipalities’ cops and hired lawyers to impose crushing fines, then benefit personally . . .

The IJ explained the background: “Tyson’s road to the Supreme Court began shortly after his father died, leaving him more than $70,000 in life-insurance proceeds. Tyson used some of the money to buy a new Land Rover LR2. Four months later, however, his car was seized when he sold four grams of heroin to undercover officers. Tyson pleaded guilty to drug dealing, served one year on house arrest and paid $1,200 in court fees. Most importantly, his arrest prompted him to get his life back on track.” (Read more from “$40,000 Fine for Small Offense Is Cops’ New ‘Weapon of Mass Destruction'” HERE)

ID Card for Illegals Valid for Voter Registration

Chicago’s new CityKey ID card, designed to provide legal identification to illegal aliens, the homeless and those recently released from prison will qualify as a legal form of ID for the Illinois Board of Elections to accept, said a spokesman for the agency . . .

State Board of Elections spokesman Matt Dietrich told Illinois News Network the 109 local election authorities in the state have final word on which documents to accept when someone registers to vote, but as far as his agency is concerned Chicago’s CityKey will be acceptable.

The local authorities are “the ones who actually handle the registration, the checking of IDs and keeping the documentation. We maintain an electronic database of voter registrations that we get from them.” . . .

During Fox News’ Tucker Carlson’s interview with Chicago Alderman Ameya Pawar, who wrote the law that created CityKey, Pawar claimed registrants in the state had to produce a birth certificate to register to vote – a claim shown to be untrue. Watch it here:

Illegals and others wanting a CityKey card can submit a current driver’s license, state ID, expired foreign passport, foreign driver’s license or high school or GED diploma, among others, to identify themselves. (Read more from “ID Card for Illegals Valid for Voter Registration” HERE)

6 in 10 Adults Are Too Scared to Visit This Kind of Doctor

Feeling bristled? Imagine how your teeth might feel, especially if you’ve been putting off your annual checkup. If you have, you’re likely far from alone. A new study finds that six in 10 American adults are too scared to visit the dentist.

Researchers at Hello Products, a dental care startup, polled 2,000 adults in the U.S. on their oral hygiene habits, which led to some more-than-toothless findings.

For instance, among the more stunning results, the survey showed that three in 10 millennials only brush their teeth once a day. Millennials also admit they’ve gone two or three days on average without brushing at all.

Yet, a convincing majority (56 percent) expressed fear or anxiety over losing their teeth, despite possessing slovenly dental habits . . .

Going to the dentist was admittedly a phobia for most respondents — overall, 62% of adults surveyed said that they were too spooked to even visit a dentist’s office — but particularly among millennials, perhaps helping explain why their much-flaunted smiles appear to be at-risk. Millennials were more likely than those over 55 to create excuses to avoid regular dental checkups (56 percent to 36 percent, respectively).
