SARAH PALIN SPECIAL ELECTION RESULTS: And the Winner is . . . Dominion Voting Systems???

By Matt Johnson. Alaska’s Special Congressional Election has been called for Democrat Mary Peltola, who reportedly edged former Governor Sarah Palin by the slimmest of margins in Round 2 of the Ranked Choice vote (RCV) count.

RCV is working exactly as planned, as Alaska is now completely dependent on the “integrity” of the new Dominion Voting Machines purchased by the Dunleavy Administration in 2020.

Palin won the Special Election Primary with 27.01% and 43,601 votes. Democrat Mary Peltola, meanwhile, received just 10.08%, amounting to 16,265 votes, good for a 4th place finish.

This means that One-third of Establishment Republican Nick Begich’s supporters suicide voted by ranking Peltola ahead of Palin on their Special General Election ballot. A clear sign that they hate Palin more than they love their country.

Peltola was the first-choice vote of just 39.66% of voters in the Special General Election.

The makeup of the electorate, though, raises serious questions about the legitimacy of the outcome.

While it is only possible to gauge the Alaskan electorate with proximate accuracy, given the disproportionate number of undeclared and nonpartisan registrations, polling seems to suggest the turnout was disproportionately left-leaning relative to voter registrations and voter intensity.

While we can’t identify party allegiances, we can identify how most voters actually vote.

Registered Republicans in Alaska outnumber registered Democrats almost 2-1, and unaffiliated voters are roughly equal to Republican registrations.

While there are a few minor parties, mostly right-leaning, all things being equal a general election under RCV with two Republicans and one Democrat would be decided by an electorate that is in simplified short-hand 40% Republican, 40% Independent, and 20% Democrat.

This means for Peltola to receive nearly 40%, she had to win more than 50% of the Independent voters. This assumes equal turnout among Republicans and Democrats.

Why is this a heavy lift?

1. Peltola was a late entry to the Special Election, which was already on a truncated schedule.

2. Peltola is not a household name, and it is doubtful that half of the electorate knows who she is outside of the Alaska Native community.

3. Polling over the last several months has indicated a strong and decisive edge to Republicans in voter intensity that exceeds intensity during Republican wave cycles in 1994, 2010, and 2014, ranging anywhere from 10-22 points higher than Democrat intensity. This means turnout should’ve favored Republicans by a wide margin.

4. One poll taken back in March even showed Independents favoring Republicans in Alaska by 13 points.

5. Peltola is a sure vote for Nancy Pelosi in the midst of one of the most troubled economic environments in 40 years.

6. All things being equal, which they are not in the State of Alaska, midterm Congressional elections almost always advantage the party out of power.

Even if DOE numbers are taken at face value, Republican turnout exceeded Democrat turnout by more than 18 points, yet Alaska is faced with the prospect of being represented by a liberal Democrat in Congress.

How do we know this count is accurate? I guess we’ll just have to trust Dominion Voting Systems. But don’t ask any questions. It’s strictly verboten.

Welcome to the wonderful Brave New World of Woke! Fourth Place really is the new 1st Place.

Alaska’s Ranked-Choice Voting Hands Democrat Victory Over Sarah Palin

By Townhall. For the first time since 1973, Alaska’s at-large U.S. House seat will be occupied by a Democrat after Mary Peltola prevailed in the second round vote tabulation of the special general election held to fill the vacancy created after GOP Rep. Don Young passed away earlier this year.

In the first round, Peltola held a lead after Republicans split their votes between former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (finishing second) and Nick Begich. Under Alaska’s new ranked-choice voting system narrowly approved by voters in 2020, the last place candidate (Begich) was eliminated and his votes reallocated to his supporters’ second-choice candidates.

Ultimately, according to data broadcast by the Alaska Division of Elections on Wednesday evening, round two saw 27,042 votes added to Palin’s total and 15,445 for Peltola while 11,222 Begich voters didn’t list secondary choices. In the end, Begich’s second-round votes gave Peltola a win with 51.47 percent of the votes over Palin’s 48.53 percent. FBI Blasted for ‘Staged’ Photo of Documents Seized in Mar-a-Lago Raid; Liz Cheney Reacts to FBI Image of Trump Documents

FBI Blasted for ‘Staged’ Photo of Documents Seized in Mar-a-Lago Raid

By Breitbart. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is under fire for a recent photo that showcased documents the Bureau seized from Mar-a-Lago scattered across the floor, leading some to call out the photos for being “staged.”

The photo was included in a DOJ filing submitted late Tuesday that opposed former President Donald Trump’s request for an independent review of the documents the FBI seized from his estate earlier this month.

The photo, which showed several redacted documents and others that were marked “TOP SECRET,” quickly made its way to social media after the DOJ submitted its filing to Federal Judge Aileen M. Cannon.

“DOJ wins daily PR battle with photo of classified documents strewn across floor at Mar-a-Lago,” Washington Examiner chief political correspondent Byron York noted. “Story is Trump alleged mis-handling of classified documents, and just look at them — scattered all over the floor! Can you believe it?”

York then shared a screenshot of a tweet from verified user Cheri Jacobus who posted the DOJ photo and said, “This is how Trump stored Top Secret material he stole.”

Liz Cheney Reacts to FBI Image of Trump Documents From Mar-A-Lago

By Washington Examiner. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) took to Twitter after the Department of Justice released a photograph of classified documents obtained during the FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.

Cheney, who has been a major critic of the former president, claimed the image revealed “yet more indefensible conduct by Donald Trump revealed this morning,” according to a tweet posted Wednesday from her account.

The congresswoman, who recently lost her reelection bid to represent Wyoming in Congress, claimed she could have won the party’s nomination in a tweet last week, had she decided to side with the former president in his allegation that the 2020 election was “stolen” by widespread voter fraud.

The FBI’s photograph, which was released in the DOJ’s response to Trump’s request for a special master to look at the materials taken by federal officials during the search, was apparently taken at Mar-a-Lago. The photo provoked ridicule from the former spokeswoman for Vice President Kamala Harris, Symone Sanders-Townsend.

Kansas District Settles Dispute With Christian Teacher Over Transgender Pronouns for $95,000

A Kansas school district has agreed to pay $95,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by a teacher who ran afoul of policies requiring her to use a student’s preferred name and pronouns and conceal a student’s gender transition from parents.

Pamela Ricard, a now-retired Fort Riley Middle School math teacher, filed a motion Wednesday to dismiss her lawsuit against the Geary County Unified School District 475 in Junction City, Kansas, according to the Alliance Defending Freedom, which represents her.

Ms. Ricard, who retired in May, argued that addressing students by their preferred names and pronouns, but then using their legal name and pronouns with parents to avoid disclosing their gender transitions violated her Christian religious beliefs.

Alliance Senior Counsel Tyson Langhofer called the outcome a victory for free speech and religious freedom in public schools.

“No school district should ever force teachers to willfully deceive parents or engage in any speech that violates their deeply held religious beliefs,” said Mr. Langhofer, director of the ADF Center for Academic Freedom. “We’re pleased to settle this case favorably on behalf of Pam, and we hope that it will encourage school districts across the country to support the constitutionally protected freedom of teachers to teach and communicate honestly with both children and parents.” (Read more from “Kansas District Settles Dispute With Christian Teacher Over Transgender Pronouns for $95,000” HERE)

Biden Plans to Give Federal Government Workers a Raise in 2023

President Joe Biden is planning to give federal employees a substantial pay raise in 2023.

In letters to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Vice President Kamala Harris in her capacity as President of the Senate, Biden announced his plans to give federal government employees an across-the-board pay raise of 4.1%, with an average locality-based pay raise of 0.5%; meaning some 2.1 million federal employees will receive raises of 4.6%, on average. The pay raises will take effect on January 1, 2023.

“Title 5 [of the] United States Code, authorizes me to implement alternative plans for pay adjustments for civilian Federal employees covered by the General Schedule and certain other pay systems if, because of ‘national emergency or serious economic conditions affecting the general welfare,’ I view the increases that would otherwise take effect as inappropriate,” Biden wrote in the letter. “Accordingly, I have determined that it is appropriate to exercise my authority to set alternative pay adjustments for 2023. Specifically, I have determined that for 2023, the across-the-board base pay increase will be 4.1 percent and locality pay increases will average 0.5 percent, resulting in an overall average increase of 4.6 percent for civilian Federal employees, consistent with the assumption in my 2023 Budget.”

Under federal law, if the president wishes to institute a pay raise above and beyond the normal raise, he must submit his plan to Congress by September 1 of the preceding year, including the reasons for instituting the raise. In considering any such raises, the president needs to consider “pertinent economic measures,” including the national GDP, the unemployment rate, the budget deficit, the Consumer Price Index, and the Producer Price Index.

Biden cited a continuing recruitment crisis as the reason for the raise. “Federal agencies have witnessed growing recruitment and retention challenges with Federal positions experiencing eroded compensation,” Biden wrote. Taliban Parades US Military Gear in Celebration of Afghanistan Withdrawal Anniversary

Taliban fighters on Wednesday paraded captured U.S. military vehicles and weaponry in celebration of the one-year anniversary of the United States’ withdrawal from the country.

At the Bagram air base, where a year earlier Afghan civilians died falling from U.S. military planes evacuating Kabul, the Taliban displayed a show of force, marching infantry and parading dozens of U.S. aircraft and vehicles.

The Taliban’s victory celebration comes a year to the date after President Joe Biden called his administration’s withdrawal a “success” and a “wise decision.”

Footage of the parade broadcast by Taliban media shows the jihadist force piloting American Black Hawk helicopters and driving Humvees and armored personnel carriers.

White House Says Trump Supporters Are a ‘Threat to Our Democracy’

The White House denounced supporters of President Donald Trump on Wednesday, accusing them of posing an “extremist threat to our democracy.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre began the daily briefing by condemning Republican leaders for their dangerous rhetoric but also said that President Joe Biden believed supporters of former President Donald Trump were also a threat.

“Let me be very clear, it’s not just Republican leadership, it’s not just that blanket right?” she said to reporters. “He’s talking about an extreme portion, an extreme part of the party.”

Jean-Pierre previewed the president’s speech planned for Thursday about restoring the “soul of Democracy” and warned of “extreme” Republicans.

“When you are supporting an authoritarian figure, as we have seen, who is leading, currently leading, the former president, you know, and um saying and inciting the violence that you are or wanting to take our freedoms, you know we need to say something,” she said. Top FBI Official Who Quit Agency Had Long History of Misconduct Allegations

Timothy Thibault, a senior FBI agent who left the agency Friday, was previously accused of numerous instances of misconduct by Republican lawmakers and FBI whistleblowers.

Thibault retired over the weekend after recently being removed from a role as assistant special agent in charge at the FBI’s Washington, D.C. field office. However, government officials have brought forward accusations that he tried to hinder the FBI’s inquiry into Hunter Biden, acted in a “highly partisan” way on social media and urged that some cases be improperly branded “domestic violent extremism.”

Republican Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley told Fox News last week that Thibault launched an investigation into former President Donald Trump “on fuzzy newspaper reports.” He said in July that the FBI allegedly “developed information in 2020 about Hunter Biden’s criminal financial and related activity.”

Thibault was accused of ordering the closure of an “avenue of additional derogatory Hunter Biden reporting” in October 2020, Grassley stated, citing whistleblowers. The agent allegedly went against FBI guidelines by failing to give a valid reason for closing the matter, according to the senator. Man Fatally Shoots Daughter’s Intruding Ex-Boyfriend on Camera

A man who shot and killed an attempted intruder on July 31 will not face criminal charges in the state of Ohio.

James Rayl, 22, approached the man’s house, at first ringing the doorbell. Rayl was the ex-boyfriend of the man’s daughter, who’d reportedly broken up with him 18 months prior. Voices can be heard telling Rayl that his ex-girlfriend did not want to see or talk to him.

Next, Rayl begins attempting to open the door, slamming into it with his shoulder. A man’s voice, now known to be the father’s, warns him to stop because he has a gun. Rayl continues to attempt to break in before he is shot three times. The entire exchange was captured on video surveillance and even shows Rayl collapsing onto the driveway. Shelby County sheriff’s deputies reported the ex-boyfriend died at the scene.

Germany Sending Warships to Indo-Pacific as Tensions With China Escalate: Report

German General Eberhard Zorn said Wednesday the Bundeswehr will send warships to the Indo-Pacific and join allies in drills as China ramps up operations around Taiwan.

“We do not want to provoke anyone with our presence but rather send a strong sign of solidarity with our allies,” Zorn told Reuters. “We stand for the freedom of navigation and the safeguarding of international norms.”

Germany, which has been frugal on military spending in the second half of the 20th century, pledged to hike defense spending above 2% of its total GDP in February after Russia invaded Ukraine. . .

Now, the country is also turning its attention to China, which has sent warplanes across the Taiwan Strait median line and fired missiles over the island in recent weeks. (Read more from “Germany Sending Warships to Indo-Pacific as Tensions With China Escalate: Report” HERE)

Catholic Nancy Pelosi Declares It Is ‘Sinful’ to Restrict Abortion

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi asserted last week that restricting abortion is “sinful,” another clear indication she has broken from the teachings of the Catholic church.

Speaking at a “reproductive health roundtable discussion” on Aug. 26, Pelosi claimed that restricting abortion rights is a “sinful” assault on women.

“The fact that this is such an assault on women of color and women — lower income families is just sinful. It’s sinful,” Pelosi said.

“It‘s wrong that they would be able to say to women what they think women should be doing with their lives and their bodies,” she added. “But it’s sinful, the injustice of it all.”

Earlier in the event, Pelosi said that “extreme MAGA Republicans” have been “emboldened by the radical Supreme Court.” She accused such people of “inflicting unimaginable pain on women and their families.” Pelosi even claimed that “American women are not as free as their mothers and their grandmothers were.” (Read more from “Catholic Nancy Pelosi Declares It Is ‘Sinful’ to Restrict Abortion” HERE)
