This Republican Has an Idea About the Identity of the Senior FBI Official Who Was Leaking Confidential Material

By Townhall. Republican Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA), the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, wants to know whom the identity of the senior FBI official who was leaking confidential information to the media. . .

Fired FBI Peter Strzok, who reportedly was a key player in the Hillary Clinton email probe and signed off on the FBI’s counterintelligence probe that eventually became the probe helmed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, is listed as being the Deputy Assistant Director of the Espionage Section in September of 2016. In fact, he’s the only name that appears next to that title in the report. . .

Strzok and his mistress, former bureau lawyer Lisa Page, are at the epicenter of the allegations of bias and misconduct at the FBI over the 2016 election. The two shared tens of thousands of texts that exhibited the worst professional form from the FBI. They were anti-Trump and meant exactly what they said; Strzok tried to pass on that there was no bias in these communications and that they showed his patriotism. They discussed an “insurance policy” with disgraced ex-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who Katie also noted leaked to the press and lied under oath about it. His conduct has been referred to for criminal prosecution. That “insurance policy” is reportedly the Trump dossier, an unverified piece of political opposition research that was funded by the Democrats, which was used to secure a FISA spy warrant against Trump foreign policy adviser Carter Page. Alas, the FISA abuse allegations stemming from Spygate. (Read more from “This Republican Has an Idea About the Identity of the Senior FBI Official Who Was Leaking Confidential Material” HERE)

Doug Collins Suspects Ex-FBI Leaker Is Peter Strzok

By Washington Examiner. A top Republican wants to know if a high-ranking FBI official who leaked “sensitive” information and improperly accepted a gift from the media was Peter Strzok, the former FBI agent who is well known for his text messages displaying a negative opinion of President Trump.

Rep. Doug Collins, the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, wrote letters to Attorney General William Barr and Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz on Thursday with questions about the DOJ watchdog’s investigation into FBI misconduct.

In his letter to Horowitz, Collins asked about a one-page report released on Wednesday that found a now-former FBI deputy assistant director “engaged in misconduct” by disclosing information to the media that had been filed under seal in federal court, maintaining dozens of unauthorized contacts with reporters, and accepting a $225 ticket from a member of the media to attend a dinner sponsored by the media. New Poll Has More Great News for President Trump

President Trump’s job approval rating is the highest it’s been in two years, boosted by voter optimism about the economy, according to the latest Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey.

The survey found that 48 percent approve of the job Trump is doing, compared to 52 percent who said they disapprove. That’s up from 45 percent approval in March. The last time the president’s job approval rating reached 48 percent in the Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey was in June of 2017.

Trump appears to be getting a lift from the economy, with a record 62 percent approving of his approach to employment and 59 percent approving of his handling of the economy. . .

“People’s views on the economy are gradually pushing Trump’s numbers up and his actions on other issues like China and immigration are neutral to positive,” said Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey. “Every point of increase in this range of 45 to 50 improves the possibility of re-election.” . . .

Only 37 percent of voters said they would definitely or probably vote for Trump in the 2020 presidential election, compared to 42 percent who said they would definitely or probably vote for the Democratic nominee. Twelve percent of voters are unsure, and 9 percent said they’d vote for an independent or third-party candidate. (Read more from “New Poll Has More Great News for President Trump” HERE)

Democrat Reps. Push Gun Control Before Virginia Beach Details Known

By Breitbart. Rep. Elaine Luria (D-VA-2) and Rep. Norma Torres (D-CA-35) called for more gun control Friday before the details of the Virginia Beach shooting were even known.

Luria was tweeting for gun control before Virginia Beach police chief Jim Cervera had officially listed the number of dead or wounded. In fact, at the time she tweeted, it was widely reported that a suspect was in custody, but Cervera clarified that the suspect had been killed. . .

Since we do not know how the gunman acquired his weapon — whether by purchasing it legally it, stealing it, borrowing it, etc. — what actions does Luria suggest Congress ought to take?

. . .

Rep. Norma Torres (D-CA-35) waited until Chief Cervera had announced that 11 were dead and six were wounded, then tweeted for more gun control although so much critical information is still unknown.

AG Barr Was Asked About Concern over His Reputation, His Response Is Hilarious

By Townhall. Since the release of the Mueller report in April, Attorney General Bill Barr has been attacked by the deranged Left for refusing to fall in line with their Russian collusion narrative. They panicked when he used the term “spying” to describe the action taken against the Trump campaign in 2016. He’s been accused of “protecting the president” and the salty language in Washington D.C. significantly ramped up after he announced an investigation into the origins of the Russia probe.

Lamenting his actions, Democrats and their allies in the media have been feigning concern by asking, “But what about Barr’s reputation? His legacy?” . . .

During an interview with CBS News from Alaska this week, Barr responded.

“Everyone dies and I am not, you know, I don’t believe in the Homeric idea that you know, immortality comes by, you know, having odes sung about you over the centuries, you know?” he said. “I am at the end of my career.”

Watch: Footage Shows Thousands of Illegal Aliens Going Through Border

As impeachment fever soaks up the oxygen in Washington D.C., the crisis on the southern border with Mexico continues to get worse by the day.

Yesterday marked a new and grave milestone for Border Patrol agents as more than 1,000 illegal aliens, the vast majority falsely claiming asylum, poured over the border into the United States.

“The apprehension of 1,036 individuals in a single group – the largest group ever encountered by Border Patrol agents – demonstrates the severity of the border security and humanitarian crisis at our Southwest border,” Customs and Border Protection Deputy Commissioner Robert Perez released in a statement. “The dedicated men and women of CBP, and in particular the U.S Border Patrol, are doing their very best every day to address the influx of family units and unaccompanied children.”

Watch: Obama Decides to Uncontrollably Lie About Guns in U.S.

Former President Barack Obama told multiple lies on Thursday to a crowd in Brazil while discussing gun laws in the United States — something that he repeatedly did during his presidency.

In a clip flagged by Grabien’s Tom Elliott, Obama stated: “Some of you may be aware our gun laws in the United States don’t make much sense. Anybody can buy any weapon, any time. Without much, if any, regulation, they can buy it over the Internet, they can buy machine guns.” . . .

Stephen Gutowski, a Second Amendment reporter for The Washington Free Beacon, highlighted some of Obama’s in a series of tweets on Friday.

“Former President Obama just straight up lied about America’s gun laws while at an event in Brazil–a country with strict gun laws and an unfathomably-high gun murder rate,” Gutowski tweeted. “Former President Obama told the Brazilian crowd ‘anybody can buy any weapon any time without much, if any, regulation’ of our gun laws which is just plain false on its face. A complete lie.”

Rolling Thunder Exec Director: We’ll Ride on Washington If Pelosi Tries to Impeach Trump

The executive director of Rolling Thunder, the annual military event that features hundreds of thousands of motorcyclists traveling to Washington to call for full accountability for prisoners of war and missing in action service members, said that the entire membership would arrive in the nation’s capital if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whom he called an “arrogant little b****,” decides to try to impeach President Trump.

Artie Muller, 74, who served as a U.S. Army sergeant in the Vietnam War and is listed on the group’s website as a co-founder, spoke at the National Mall on Monday and posited that Pelosi should be ousted from Congress for the series of investigations she is involved with. He stated, “I would like to see Nancy Pelosi and her hypocrites work on the POW issue instead of bulls***ting [and] aggravating the President of the United States, who’s doing a fantastic job.” He added, “When the hell are they going to wake up? It’s not their children, their mothers, their fathers that are left behind in the POW camps.”

The Washington Examiner noted, “The numbers involved in a pro-Trump rally could be large. More than 1 million bikers are believed to have traveled to D.C. for this year’s Rolling Thunder rally. And infrequent, unrelated biker activism has drawn large numbers, including a 2013 ride that brought thousands of bikers to counterprotest a 9/11 event originally billed as the Million Muslim March.” . . .

Rolling Thunder’s first ride was to the Vietnam War Memorial in 1987. It was inspired after Ray Manzo, a former United States Marine Corps Corporal, discovered that American servicemen had allegedly been abandoned in Southeast Asia after the Vietnam War was over. Manzo drafted a letter to motorcycling publications; Sgt. Major John Holland, 1st Sgt. Walt Sides, and Sgt. Ted Sampley joined him to found the group. Sampley’s colleague, Bob Schmitt, was looking at the Memorial Bridge, imagining the motorcycles going across it, and stated, “It will be like the sound of rolling thunder coming across the bridge.” Thus the name of the group was born. Hamas ADMITS It Receives Money from Iran’s Terrorist Regime

In an unusually stark and blunt admission this week, Yahya Sinwar, chieftain of the Sunni sharia supremacist death cult Hamas, which was democratically elected to govern the Gaza Strip following Israel’s 2005 unilateral withdrawal from the area, openly admitted that the jihadist group takes funding from the terrorist Shiite sharia supremacist regime in Iran. . .

Iran is mainly known for funding Hamas rival Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which is a fellow terrorist group also operating in the Gaza Strip. Sunni nations Qatar and Turkey, by contrast, have emerged over the past decade as the chief benefactors of Hamas.

Since its unilateral withdrawal in 2005, Israel has been forced into three full-scale wars with Hamas, which routinely bludgeons Israeli civilians and metropolitan areas with indiscriminately fired terrorist rockets. In a March Daily Wire op-ed, I laid out the case for Israel to utterly destroy Hamas once and for all:

Try as the Israel Defense Forces might to keep on “mowing the grass” when the “infidel”-loathing jihadists of Hamas flare up in impulsive paroxysms of “anti-Zionism” Jew-hatred, the status quo in Gaza is completely unsustainable. No other sovereign country on Earth would deal so passively with such a cancerous threat living on its border — with its biggest civilian centers under constant fear of city-wide sirens signaling the incoming threat of crude Iran-manufactured rockets fired haphazardly from a bordering terroristic death cult. Indeed, no sovereign country on Earth should have to deal with such a threat. If the Sinaloa Cartel or Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion ever decided to shoot terrorist rockets at Texan or Arizonan ranchers, the United States would (rightfully) send in M1 Abrams tanks across the Rio Grande tomorrow. …

Trump’s New Mexico Tariffs Draw Potential Legal Action

President Trump is threatening to impose new tariffs on Mexico if the country does not take action to reduce or eliminate the number of migrants crossing into the U.S.

Now, U.S. business groups, including the Chamber of Commerce, are considering legal action to prevent the Trump administration from imposing a 5 percent tariff on all products imported from Mexico.

“Our number one goal is to make sure these tariffs don’t go in place on June 10,” U.S. Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President Neil Bradley told FOX Business’ Connell McShane on Friday.

The Chamber of Commerce is looking at all legal options available to businesses and consumers to challenge the tariffs in U.S. courts. Bradley said they are still in the preliminary stage, but have urged the White House to reconsider imposing tariffs on Mexico.

“Our view is that this will have a tremendously negative impact on the economy and on American families and frankly there are other ways to deal with what is a real problem that the president and the administration are right to be concerned about along our Southern border,” he said. This Is the Average Millennial’s Net Worth

By Fox Business. Millennials have a much lower net worth than previous generations, according to a new study.

The average net worth of Americans between the ages of 18 to 35 is less than $8,000 — about 34 percent lower than in 1996, a Deloitte study published Wednesday found.

Despite clichés that millennials are “ruining everything from movies to marriage,” the study found millennials are actually under more economic pressure because of numerous increased costs over the last decade. . .

The Post reported that people in their 20s and 30s a decade ago spent about 12 percent of their incomes on education, health care and rent, but millennials today are spending about 17 percent of their incomes on those expenses, while spending on dining out or alcohol has stayed about the same, at about 11 percent. The Consumer Is Changing, but Perhaps Not How You Think

By Deloitte Insights. Amid this confusing and fast-changing narrative about the changing consumer, we paused to ask ourselves some hard-hitting questions to cut through the noise and arrive at the truth. Has the consumer fundamentally changed? If yes, in what ways have they changed? Is there a seismic difference in the changes that we are witnessing? More importantly, is the hysteria in the marketplace obscuring a much deeper and more fundamental change in consumer behavior? . . .

There is a seismic shift that has taken place in the United States over the past 50 years. The population has become increasingly heterogeneous: Millennials, now representing 30 percent of the population, are the most diverse generational cohort in US history, with roughly 44 percent consisting of ethnic and racial minorities. In comparison, only 25 percent of baby boomers belong to ethnic and racial minorities. . .

We looked at other shifts as well—for instance, cultural influences—to understand ways in which the consumer has changed. Over the past 20 years, the percentage of the population with college degrees or higher has increased significantly, though not uniformly—white and black Americans with a college education have increased by 12 percent and Hispanics by 7 percent. . .

As a result, we’re moving toward a more educated and knowledgeable consumer base with different spending patterns. As a result, we’re moving toward a more educated and knowledgeable consumer base with different spending patterns. However, the cost of education eats into discretionary funds, influencing how consumers spend their money on categories such as apparel, food away from home, and furniture. . .

Marriage, another life cycle milestone, continues to evolve. Between 1997 and 2017, marital rates among whites, Hispanics, and blacks fell from 59 percent, 54 percent, and 39 percent to 55 percent, 50 percent, and 35 percent respectively. The only exception to this downward trend were Asians, whose marriage rate increased from 58 percent in 1997 to 61 percent in 2017; the trend has been relatively steady since then.
