FEC Decision Clears Joe Miller’s 2016 Campaign of All Complaints; Shows Blatant Lies Used for Political Effect, Extreme Alaska Media Bias

In a decisive rebuke to Alaska Republican Party Chairman Tuckerman Babcock and Senator Lisa Murkowski, the Federal Election Commission has dismissed the party’s 2016 complaints against Joe Miller. Clearly, the allegations were trumped-up with intent to further a smear campaign inaugurated against Miller in 2010 and damage his electoral prospects.

There were several alleged violations in the ARP complaint, most dealing with Joe Miller’s website owned by Restoring Liberty LLC of which Miller is the sole proprietor.

Alaska Republican Party Chairman Tuckerman Babcock falsely claimed in a sworn affidavit that Joe Miller, his campaign committee, his corporate entity, and/or corporate donors to his corporate entity:

· Made illegal corporate contributions to the Miller campaign
· Illegally accepted in-kind contributions from corporate sponsors
· Illegally accepted other unlawful in-kind contributions
· Accepted campaign resources from corporations without paying fair value
· Transferred use of corporate social media accounts without paying fair value
· Advertised for donations on his corporate website without paying fair value
· Made numerous solicitations for campaign contributions without proper disclaimers
· Utilized campaign material without proper disclaimers
· Solicited donations via radio communications without proper disclaimers
· Failed to properly disclose campaign receipts and expenditures
· Fabricated certain in-kind donations

None of which the Federal Election Commission found to be true.

Given the nature of this corporate entity, a candidate’s ability to legally self-fund without limit, the lack of any substantiated violations of required reporting, and the press exemption in the law, the FEC finding determined: “ . . . the circumstances in this case support dismissal . . . [and] an enforcement action would not be an efficient use of the Commission’s resources.”

Regarding the disclosure allegations, the finding was that “the information in the record suggests that the Committee sent a single email with an inadequate disclaimer, but the mistake was quickly identified and corrected. In addition, the email identified the Committee as the sender and included the Committee’s mailing address, thus recipients had some information as to who was responsible for it. There is no information indicating the Committee’s other communications violated the Commission’s disclaimer requirements.”

FEC findings also addressed the allegation that Citizens for Joe Miller failed to report, or misreported contributions.

“The reporting allegations appear to be unsupported. The Committee reported the in-kind contributions for the use of Miller’s vehicle and campaign headquarters, and although the Complaint alleges that some of those reported amounts were too high, the information does not indicate that those amounts were unreasonable. Additionally, there is no information showing that the Committee inflated the value of any in-kind contribution in order to reimburse Miller for more than its value.”

It is clear from the FEC ruling that the Commission deemed them, at best, irrelevant and without merit.

Nevertheless, in making their false charges, Tuckerman Babcock and Lisa Murkowski (on whose behalf these dirty tricks were executed) have demonstrated again a willingness to play fast and loose with the truth, as well as a blatant disregard for good faith and fair dealing. It appears their complaint was filed simply as a political weapon without regard for its veracity.

Is this the way Alaska Republicans want to be represented by their leadership?

Miller spokesman Randy DeSoto noted that “much like the liar fliers sent out with apparent laundered money from the Murkowski campaign, these charges were obviously an attempt to gain unfair advantage in a federal election and deflect attention from ARP’s dirty dealing. This is absolute vindication for Joe Miller.”

Desoto is right. This federal decision once again underscores the mendacity of the Republican Establishment, and their willingness to lie, cheat and steal, if necessary, in order to prevail at the ballot box.

Sadly, the mainstream media swallowed their lies as fact, gave them the headlines they were looking for, and confirmed that they are indeed #FakeNews.

“It was clearly a calculated effort to further a false narrative hatched by Lisa Murkowski in 2010,” said Joe Miller. “The dishonesty of this cabal is notorious, and the mainstream media gladly rewards their treachery. No longer the guardian of free and fair elections, the fake news has become an agenda-driven corporatist enterprise that acts out much like a SuperPAC would, and always in the favor of entrenched power. Speaking truth to power is a thing of the past with respect to the press, unless there is convergence with the progressive agenda.”

A quick google search for “Federal Election Commission complaint, Alaska Republican Party” reveals the following headlines: “Alaska Republican Party Files Elections Complaint Against Joe Miller” (KTUU); “FEC Accepts Alaska GOP Complaint Against Joe Miller” (MustReadAlaska) [100% misleading]; “Alaska GOP Says Joe Miller Broke Campaign Finance Laws” (Alaska Dispatch News, aka www.adn.com); “Alaska GOP Accuses Joe Miller of Campaign Finance Violations” (Alaska Public Radio, aka www.alaskapublic.org); “Alaska Republican Party Claims Joe Miller Violated Election Laws” (KTVA); “Alaska GOP Chair Files Election Complaint Against Miller” (Fairbanks Daily News-Miner); “Alaska GOP Files Complaint Against Libertarian Joe Miller” (Roll Call).

Not a single headline about a still-pending FEC complaint filed on the same day against Lisa Murkowski and her shill front group Alaska Republican Party. And remember, this search didn’t even include Joe Miller’s name.

Any impartial observer would have to admit this is anything but fair coverage, and now it has also been revealed to be false and misleading.

If your politicians lie to you with impunity (and most do these days), it is only because their enablers in the mainstream (read corporate) press empower them to do so. Stop believing the fake news. The future of our Republic depends on it.

James Woods Drops Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti in One Tweet

With the assistance of the mainstream media, Michael Avenatti has made quite a name for himself after taking on client Stormy Daniels, a porn star who claims she had unprotected sex with Donald Trump in 2006 when he was married to his wife Melania, soon after the couple had son Barron. But, according to politically active actor James Woods, the attorney’s time is just about up.

In typical Woods fashion, the iconic actor informed Avenatti that he’s now “the chum of history” — alongside Black Lives Matter activist DeRay McKesson and anti-gun activist David Hogg — in one concise, hard-hitting tweet.

. . .

Woods was reacting to a tweet from the lawyer which Woods seemingly took as a cheap way for Avenatti to exploit the longstanding border crisis to prolong his fame. “This is what Mr. Trump and Mr. Miller’s immigration policy really looks like,” wrote Avenatti in the tweet, captioning a photo of a crying child.

Embarrassing: Clinton Turns Into Stuttering Mess When Asked About Melania Trump

By The Daily Caller. In an interview published Friday, Hillary Clinton was asked about first lady Melania Trump and what she thought of President Trump’s immigration policy.

Clinton’s bizarre, rambling response made little sense and did not convey much information.

The Guardian’s Decca Aitkenhead writes:

“I ask how [Clinton] interpreted the jacket the first lady wore to visit a child detention centre, bearing the opaque and intriguing slogan: ‘I really don’t care, do u?’ Clinton slumps back in her chair, wide eyed, arms spread, defeated by the mystery. ‘That, I have no idea. I have no idea. I can’t even … I don’t have any idea. I don’t know.’ Does she feel sorry for the first lady? ‘I don’t know. I honestly don’t know.’”

The Guardian article also includes a quote from Clinton in which she refuses to condemn many on the left becoming “uncivil.” (Read more from “Embarrassing: Clinton Turns Into Stuttering Mess When Asked About Melania Trump” HERE)

First Lady Melania Trump Visits Immigrant Children in Second Trip to Border Region

By USA Today. First lady Melania Trump made her second visit to the southern border region Thursday, aiming to display a more compassionate view toward separated immigrant families as President Donald Trump pushes ahead with his crackdown on illegal immigration.

In Tucson, Melania Trump visited a Customs and Border Patrol facility to learn firsthand how those on the front lines – Border Patrol officers, immigration agents, immigrant families, social workers and residents – deal with immigrant children.

Most of those children crossed the border by themselves, but more than 2,000 were separated from their parents under the administration’s “zero tolerance” policy for undocumented border crossers.

The first lady also stopped in Phoenix, where she met with people who worked with the Office of Refugee Resettlement and Southwest Key Programs, the nonprofit that has housed separated children.

The tour afforded Mrs. Trump a view of just how complicated the issue is: children separated from their parents sat alongside children who came across the border alone. (Read more from “First Lady Melania Trump Visits Immigrant Children in Second Trip to Border Region” HERE)

Maxine Waters Apologizes—but to Fidel Castro!

. . .Two years prior to joining Manhattan’s Castro adoration rite, you see, Maxine Waters had voted in favor of a congressional resolution calling on Castro to kindly refrain from harboring fugitives from U.S. law, including convicted cop-killer Joan Chesimard (aka Assata Shakur.)

But Maxine Waters caught herself in the nick of time. Dear President (all italics mine) Castro,” she wrote on September 29, 1998, “I am writing to clarify my position on a resolution recently passed by the United States House of Representatives on September 14, 1998. I, and some of the Members of the Congressional Black Caucus, mistakenly voted for House Concurrent Resolution 254 which called on the Government of Cuba to extradite to the United States Joanne Chesimard and all other individuals who have fled the United States from political persecution and received political asylum in Cuba. Joanne Chesimard was the birth name of a political activist known to most Members of the Congressional Black Caucus as Assata Shakur. For the record, I am opposed to the resolution. I unequivocally stated that a mistake was made and I would have voted against the legislation.”

The New Jersey police department explains Joane Chesimard’s “political activism” here: “On May 2, 1973 New Jersey State Troopers James Harper and Werner Foerster were patrolling the New Jersey Turnpike in the area of East Brunswick and stopped a car with three occupants. The Troopers were questioning the occupants when the driver and female passenger suddenly came up with semi-automatic pistols and opened fire. Trooper Foerster was struck twice in the chest, and Trooper Harper was hit in the shoulder. The female (Joane Chesimard) then proceeded to take the service weapon from the injured Trooper Foerster. She pointed it at the wounded Trooper and shot him twice in the head, execution style. The thirty-four-year-old trooper with just three years on the road died soon after. He left a wife and family behind.” . . .

The Castro-Family-Fiefdom provides haven for over 50 fugitives from U.S. law, including several on the FBI’s most wanted listed. Along with convicted cop-killer Chesimard, Cuba harbors convicted cop-killer Charlie Hill, along with Victor Gerena, responsible for a $7 million heist of a Wells Fargo truck in Connecticut in 1983 as a member of the Puerto Rican terrorist group Los Macheteros. Guillermo “Willie” Morales who bombed Manhattan’s Fraunces Tavern in 1975 killing four Americans also lives like a celebrity in Cuba. For decades all requests by U.S. authorities for these criminals’s extradition have been laughed-off by Maxine Waters’s terror-sponsoring friends. Former CNN Producer Torches Acosta: You’re ‘Truly Embarrassing’ and Confirm Anti-Trump Media Bias

. . .CNN’s Jim Acosta once again embarrassed himself at a White House event, where we celebrated the six-month anniversary of the tax reform package becoming law; a law that has formed the foundation for our rapid economic growth. As he left the podium, Acosta shouted if the president would “stop calling the press the enemy of the people.”

Acosta quite nakedly tried to pin blame on the tragic shooting at the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland, which left five people dead. It was not Trump’s fault. The shooter, 38-year-old Jarrod Ramos, used a shotgun to commit the attack and his grievance with the publication dated back to 2011-12. The Left tried to blame the Trump White House; it blew up in their faces. Sorry, but this is what gives credence to the fake news criticism, which by the way, originated with Hillary Clinton, not Trump. Even a former CNN producer, Steve Krakauer, torched Acosta for his behavior, saying what he did captured why many are losing trust in the media. It also reinforces the notion that the elite media is biased, they’re allies of the Democratic Party, and they’re unabashedly anti-Trump. I know—preaching to the choir here.

Poll Reveals How Many Americans Believe Civil War Is Inevitable

The division in the United States that has escalated into the organized harassment of presidential aides has six in 10 worried about the violence from anti-Trump advocates and nearly a third fearing it will end in civil war.

The latest survey from Rasmussen Reports found that 59 percent of all voters “are concerned that those opposed to President Trump’s policies will resort to violence.”

And, added Rasmussen, 31 percent believe “it’s likely that the United States will experience a second civil war sometime in the next five years.”

The new polling evidence of fear in the country over political division follows the harassment of three top Trump aides, including spokeswoman Sarah Sanders, ordered out of a southern Virginia restaurant, and senior adviser Stephen Miller whose condo drew protests from liberals. . .

Most voters across the partisan spectrum are concerned about political violence from those opposed to Trump’s policies, although Republicans are the most likely to be Very Concerned. The level of concern is about the same among Republicans, Democrats and unaffiliated voters when it comes to the threat of violence from those critical of the media’s coverage of Trump.

Startling News Was Just Announced About ISIS

By The Washington Examiner. The Islamic State’s Afghanistan affiliate has gotten stronger over the last few years despite the aggressive efforts of the U.S.-led coalition in the country, a State Department official told the Washington Examiner.

“ISIS has grown stronger over the last couple of years, despite a really withering military campaign, principally from U.S. forces, but with strong support as well from Afghan forces,” the official said on condition of anonymity.

Senior lawmakers hesitated to state it so bluntly, but they acknowledge that ISIS in Afghanistan is a particularly tough nut to crack.

“Afghanistan has never been finished, that’s one of the problems, so there’s not a strong governance, particularly in the rural areas,” said Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin, a senior Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee. “So we’ve always had that vulnerability. We’ve been very successful in the Syria aspects and the Iraq aspects of ISIS, but they find vulnerable areas.”

The war-torn country’s drug trade gives the ISIS offshoot critical funding as well. (Read more from “Startling News Was Just Announced About ISIS” HERE)

ISIS trained CHILD SOLDIERS to launch attacks on EU, claims French jihadist

By Express. Jonathan Geffroy, a French jihadist who was captured in Syria in early 2017 and handed over to French authorities last September, told France’s DGSI internal intelligence agency that ISIS had recruited children who had been born and raised in Syria to launch attacks on European soil, according to the French daily Le Monde.

Geffroy said in a note seen by Le Monde: “They recruited and trained orphans, and then you also have the wives of ISIS militants whose children have been indoctrinated with the group’s ideology and who have been taught to hate the US-led coalition and Europe.

“I know that future external operations will be carried out by children who grew up in the area and who, after adolescence, will be sent to the West, to Europe, to carry out suicide missions.”

He added sending child soldiers off once they become teenagers would make it practically impossible for counter-terrorism officials to use facial recognition technology to identify them.

The ex-ISIS militant, who is currently awaiting trial for “criminal conspiracy in connection with a terrorist enterprise,” said the child soldier plan was the brainchild of the Clain brothers. (Read more from “ISIS trained CHILD SOLDIERS to launch attacks on EU, claims French jihadist” HERE)

ICE Director Slams Liberals Protesting Illegal Alien Family Separation

Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan said Friday that Democrats who protest his agency for separating illegal immigrant families are barking up the wrong tree, since his agency has nothing to do with it.

“They need to educate themselves,” Homan said on Fox News. “I mean, this protest yesterday to protest about family separations on the border, ICE doesn’t separate families on the border. That’s the Border Patrol. We’re a different agency.” . . .

Some Democratic lawmakers joined protesters this week who said ICE should be abolished for enforcing U.S. border laws. Homan said Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., was one of the lawmakers who are directing her anger at the wrong agency.

“As far as Gillibrand, she needs to study the issue too, because she went to a protest on family separation on the border, and she tries to blame ICE for it, ICE separated families,” he said. “First of all, she’s gotta get her facts straight.” . . .

Homan stressed that he wasn’t blaming the Border Patrol for family separation either, and said Congress should be blamed for failing to tweak federal law in a way that would allow families to be detained together. Dirty: FBI Now Using Attorneys to Keep Congress in Dark About Peter Strzok

. . .Following a more than 10 hour closed-door House Judiciary Committee hearing with embattled FBI agent Peter Strzok, committee chairman Bob Goodlatte said Strzok refused to answer many of the questions directed at him. . .

“Unfortunately, the FBI counsel in the room has instructed Mr. Strzok not to answer many, many questions,” Goodlatte told Fox News host Martha MacCallum.

“That’s going to be a serious problem moving forward so we will be raising questions with the FBI and with the Department of Justice about why it is that their counsel is instructing Mr. Strzok not to answer questions.”

Goodlatte explained that these questions are key to getting to the bottom of Strzok’s role in the Clinton email investigation and the Trump campaign/Russia investigation, and the influence he had on the decision’s being made.

“These are questions that are central to our investigation,” Goodlatte said. “We’re asking questions about his central role in both the investigations related to Hillary Clinton and the investigations related to the Trump campaign and a so-called Russian collusion. And these are questions not about the substance of that second investigation, but about the process of his getting involved in that.” (Read more from “Dirty: FBI Now Using Attorneys to Keep Congress in Dark About Peter Strzok” HERE)

Baby Pics ‘Too Strong for Facebook’: Social Media Giant Targets Pro-Lifers in New Ad Rules

Facebook says its latest rules for advertising what it calls “political” content will promote transparency, but after a month of operation they are effectively handicapping many publishers, including LifeSiteNews.

Last month, the social media giant began requiring publishers to submit identification and mailing addresses in order to run advertisements (promotions to lists) of a “political” nature in the United States. Among the initial list of subjects deemed by Facebook to be “political” and, which will expand over time, are “abortion,” “civil rights,” “health,” and “values.” Facebook says the change is meant to prevent foreign actors from interfering in American elections. . .

Facebook has already come under fire for blocking ads by LifeSiteNews and other pro-lifers, as well as other forms of discrimination against pro-life, Christian, and conservative voices. In recent months Facebook has delayed the average wait time to approve LifeSiteNews ads from 12 hours to 72, and doubled the cost per donation received from ads deemed “political” from an average of $5.95 to $12 per donation click. Even as little as a year ago, approval for ads (promotions of particular articles) usually took minutes to an hour or two. “Now,” says LifeSite President Steve Jalsevac, “Facebook has made everything ‘political’ whereas we are an entirely issues-focused news service rather than a political one.” . . .

The photos in question do not depict political figures, imagery, or events; nor do they contain violent abortion imagery. They are photos of ultrasounds, pregnant mothers’ bellies, images of preborn babies, and even a simple photo of a mother holding an infant’s feet. . .

When pushed for additional information, Facebook suggested that LifeSiteNews “consider using different images.” If our ads continue to be rejected, it “may be that the topic of choice for your Ads is what is being disapproved.” (Read more from “Baby Pics ‘Too Strong for Facebook’: Social Media Giant Targets Pro-Lifers in New Ad Rules” HERE)
