Get Ready! Armed Biker Gang Drew Muhammad At Phoenix Mosque

Protesters clash outside Phoenix mosque rally

By ABC15.com. Hundreds of Valley residents gathered at the Islamic Community Center in Phoenix Friday night, some as part of a “Freedom of Speech” rally and others to tout the tolerance of all religions.

What started as a few supporters around 5 p.m., turned into hundreds by the protest start time at 6:15 p.m., with both sides passionately vocalizing their views and waving signs in the air.

As the two sides argued and yelled, dozens of police officers formed a line between them and kept them separated. There were no reports of injuries or arrests at the protest, which lasted a couple of hours and gained attention around the country on social media. Phoenix police estimated about 500 protesters showed up, roughly 250 on each side. (Read more about the Phoenix mosque Muhammad protest HERE)

Get Ready! Armed Biker Gang Drew Muhammad At Phoenix Mosque

By Louder With Crowder. Yesterday a biker rally was held outside of a mosque which included a Draw Muhammad contest. The event, organized by Jon Ritzheimer and Flash Nelson, has a Facebook page, and participants are encouraged to exercise their second amendment rights.

Despite the assurances that the protest will be both peaceful and lawful, the organizers are already receiving “credible threats.” John Ritzheimer posted late Thursday afternoon:

Credible threats being made and now having to move my family into hiding. Real nice Islam. Thank you for showing your true colors. I have not made any threats nor do I condone any threats. I’ve been preaching peace this whole time and once again Islam shows its lack of tolerance for others freedom. I will say that I think this cartoon contest is completely stupid, but this is all to show what Islam is about. The only one threatening with violence and that has a track record of it is them. Rally going on as planned.

Ritzheimer is a former United States Marine, and has not been deterred by the threats. Dang, son.

At the time of this posting, the event page shows 378 have RSVPd as attending, with another 125 listed as ‘maybe.’ That’s a bad sign. When dealing with Islam, there can be no maybe. You’re either in or out. Don’t half-ass it.

Fox 5 in Vegas quotes Riztheimer as saying that he “let [the mosque] know we’re coming to their doorstep and we’re going to be there utilizing our First Amendment; we’ll be ready to protect it with our Second Amendment.”

The Islamic Community Center of Phoenix, where the event will take place, is where the two dead gunmen who attacked the Garland event previously worshiped.

Jackass move? Maybe. But this is what freedom of speech means. This is absolutely protected, and it is undeniably courageous to stand up against the tyranny of violent threats and actions and say “this will not stand.” Tomorrow, we will see what happens when the event takes place. We pray for safety. But we demand success. It is our right as Americans.

I will personally host any of these bikers on my program, if they change their name to “Sons of Muhammad” or “Allah’s Angels.”

That’s not a joke. (See “Get Ready! Armed Biker Gang Drew Muhammad At Phoenix Mosque”, originally posted HERE)

Abortionists Have Killed More Americans Than the Population of the US in 1880

The number of American babies who have been aborted in the years since the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision has already exceeded the entire population of the United States as recorded in the 1880 Census . . .

In 1880, according to the Census Bureau, there were 50,189,209 people in the United States. These included, the Census Bureau notes, Mark Twain, who had not yet written The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn; Thomas Edison, who would start his electrical company two years later; and Booker T. Washington, who would open the Tuskegee Institute the next year.

The Guttmacher Institute has estimated the number of abortions in the United States in each year from 1973 through 2011. They add up to 51,376,750—or 1,187,541 more than the entire population of the nation as of 1880. In each of the last 36 straight years for which Guttmacher has published an estimate of the number of abortions, the number has exceeded 1 million. Legal Experts: Donations to Clinton Foundation are Likely Bribes

Two legal experts tell Breitbart News Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation could be in legal peril for violating United States statutes, as found in 18 U.S. Code § 201 – Bribery of public officials and witnesses.

When asked if the donations to the Clinton Foundation by defense contractors including Boeing (which subsequently received State Department approval of sales of their products to foreign governments) constituted a violation of domestic bribery statues, Law School Professor and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) expert Michael Koehler tells Breitbart News, “I’ll answer that question by quoting a former law professor who was fond of saying ‘if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck chances are it is a duck’”

Former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Andy McCarthy thinks there’s enough evidence for the FBI and DOJ to launch an investigation into whether Hillary Clinton broke federal statutes that prohibit the bribery of public officials.

“There is certainly a reasonable basis for federal agents and prosecutors to investigate whether there was an understanding that Secretary Clinton would be influenced in the performance of her official duties by lavish donations to her family foundation, and, indeed, that the Clinton Foundation was operated as a racketeering enterprise,” McCarthy tells Breitbart News.

“This is the theory on which the Justice Department has proceeded in the prosecution of Senator Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) — in fact, the main difference between the two cases may be that the staggering sums of money that were poured into the Clinton Foundation by supplicants who benefited from Hillary Clinton’s stewardship of the State Department dwarf the amounts involved in the Menendez indictment,” McCarthy continues. Indictment of High-Paid RINO Lobbyist Hastert, Former Speaker of the House, Related to Homosexual Molestation of Student

The indictment of former House speaker J. Dennis Hastert was triggered by an effort he made to hide payments of hush money to a male student he allegedly sexually molested decades ago, a federal law enforcement official said Friday.

The indictment asserts that the acts Hastert wanted to conceal date to a time when he was a teacher and coach in Illinois before entering politics in the early 1980s, the official said. Authorities said the alleged victim, who has spoken with law enforcement officials, was one of Hastert’s students.

Hastert, the longest-serving Republican speaker in House history, is not expected to face molestation charges because authorities don’t think they have enough evidence to bring a case against him, a law enforcement official said.

A federal grand jury in Chicago indicted the former speaker, 73, Thursday on charges that he violated banking laws in a bid to pay $3.5 million to an unnamed person to cover up “past misconduct.” The alleged victim is that person, the official said.

The case has riveted and shocked Washington, where Hastert has been a high-paid lobbyist since his 2007 retirement from Congress. (Read more from “Hastert Indictment Is Related to Homosexual Molestation of Student” HERE)

Judge Roy Moore: SCOTUS Ruling in Favor of Gay Marriage Will Destroy Our Country [+video]

The chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, Roy Moore, said he believes that if the U.S. Supreme Court rules in June that homosexual marriage is a Constitutional right, it “will destroy our country,” and added that “there are people who would like to see this country destroyed.”

“What [the court is] doing is they’re toying with something that’s like dynamite and will destroy our country,” Justice Roy Moore told CNSNews.com in an exclusive interview last week during the Family Research Council’s annual pastor’s retreat in Washington, D.C.

Moore said a favorable ruling would mean Americans would be forced to accept homosexual marriage and support it through goods and services for those ceremonies.

He said this is already happening in cases where bakers or florists have faced fines and other consequences for not providing services for homosexual weddings because of their religious beliefs. He also said there are examples in the U.S. military where some chaplains have been disciplined because of their opposition to same-sex marriage.

Moore said the Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of homosexual marriage would do more than allow two people of the same sex to be legally married. (Read more from “Judge Roy Moore: SCOTUS Ruling in Favor of Gay Marriage Will Destroy Our Country” HERE)

Inevitable: Rand Paul Supporting Group Labeling Ted Cruz “The Capitulating Canadian” [+video]

We had a hit in the headlines section this week about how Rand Paul is “under attack” from the rest of the GOP field and it’s probably the best thing that could happen to him. Clearly one of the Super PACs supporting the Kentucky Senator is getting into the spirit of the battle… though perhaps a bit too much. As The Hill reports today, America’s Liberty PAC has released one of the very first attack ads of the cycle as we approach the deadline for the expiration of the PATRIOT Act, and one of their chief targets is Ted Cruz. (Emphasis added.)

A super PAC backing Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is pulling no punches with the first attack ad of the 2016 GOP presidential primary, complete with fire-breathing bald eagles and slams of Sens. Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham for their stances on government surveillance.

Mimicking the aggressive style of a wrestling event promo, the one-minute spot teases the Senate debate Sunday (“Sunday! Sunday!”) over expiring portions of the Patriot Act as the “greatest brawl for liberty of the century.”

It also needles Obama’s “so-called conservative accomplices,” Cruz (R-Texas) and Graham (R-S.C.). Cruz, referred to by the super PAC as the “capitulating Canadian” as a dig against the fact that the GOP candidate was born in the country, supports a compromise bill called the USA Freedom Act.

The ad is pretty low budget and not particularly innovative or clever. It takes the “Sunday Sunday Sunday” theme of monster truck or demolition derby events and transfers it to a political debate, complete with explosions and other cheesy sound effects. The graphics aren’t much to write home about either. Here’s the video.

Lost ‘Hope’: Poster Artist for Obama Says He Let Him Down

In an interview with Esquire, Shepard Fairey said President Obama has not lived up to the expectations of the image that captured the verve behind Obama’s 2008 run. In fact, Fairey said, he’s “not even close.”

“Obama has had a really tough time, but there have been a lot of things that he’s compromised on that I never would have expected. I mean, drones and domestic spying are the last things I would have thought [he’d support],” he told Esquire.

Fairey, who has met Obama several times, said he thinks he is a “quality person,” whose presidency and legislative record also have been dictated by things out of his direct control.

“I’m not giving him a pass for not being more courageous,” Fairey said in his interview with Esquire. “But I do think the entire system needs an overhaul and taking money out of politics would be a really good first step.” (Read more from “Lost ‘Hope’: Poster Artist for Obama Says He Let Him Down” HERE)

ANALYSIS: Some People Are Dangerously Obsessed With Hillary Clinton

Photo Credit: Free Beacon Hillary supporters in the D.C. area, for example, recently congregated for a Hillary-supporter happy hour in Arlington, Virginia. Fortunately, the New Republic was there to cover the festivities:

Beth Lilly, 29, remembers the first time she felt like the media was doing Hillary Clinton wrong: It was in 1992, when she was just about six years old, and remembers that people weren’t happy about Hillary’s chocolate-chip cookie recipe …

Nate Maeur, 29, remembers seeing Hillary for the first time on TV when he was young. She was advocating for children’s rights in Africa. “I remember being glued to the TV as a really little kid, watching her, almost being entranced by what she was saying, what she believed in, because it was exactly what my mother was saying,” says Maeur, who runs a workforce development organization. “I’m surprised I didn’t confuse my mom for her, and say—‘Oh, there’s Mom right there.’”

For Clinton’s younger supporters—many of whom, like Maeur, were Barack Obama campaign volunteers—their memories of the scandals and pseudo-scandals of the Clinton years are hazy at best, filtered through the soft focus of childhood. In sharper relief for them are the accomplishments that Hillary has racked up since then—U.S. senator, 2008 candidate, secretary of state—which her young Arlington supporters quickly rattled off when asked why they were backing her. “She’s going down in history whether people like it or not,” says Renzo Olivari, 19, a political science major at James Madison University who hopes to run for office one day. He was still in middle school during the 2008 campaign but remembers watching her speeches at age 12 and getting “emotionally invested” in the Clinton campaign even then.

So Sexist, Right?: Feminists Upset Over Statue of Man and Woman Talking

Scene: You’re a woman, sitting on a bench reading a book. Your male friend sees you on the quad and comes over to say hello and talk. You put down your book, lean back against the bench and smile. He doesn’t sit next to you; instead, he puts his foot on the bench and leans over his knee.

So sexist, right?

That scene is depicted in a statue at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, and despite no sign of distress or physical assertion, some women have decided it is a statue of “mansplaining” — a term used to describe men condescendingly explaining something to a woman.

Seriously. Here’s the actual statue and the claim of misogyny:

That tweet went viral over Memorial Day weekend. It all started when Ash Hernandez saw the statue on her way to take a teacher’s certification test. She was so outraged that she ran back to her car to get her phone to snap a picture (Read more from “So Sexist, Right?: Feminists Upset Over Statue of Man and Woman Talking” HERE)

McConnell Gives Poster Child of Corporate Welfare a Pass

There is nothing more rare in Washington than the opportunity to shutter the doors of a profligate federal agency. Thus the prospect of ending the wasteful and corrupt Export-Import Bank is even more enticing. Unfortunately, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has just handed the Democrats another gift that could possibly snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for Republicans and reauthorize the poster child of corporate welfare.

In an irony of all ironies, McConnell was giving away political favors last week to Democrats willing to join him to…pass one of Obama’s biggest legislative priorities, Trade Promotion Authority and dubbed by others as Obamatrade for the special privileges granted to the potential trade deal. Irrespective of one’s views on trade in general, the idea that Republicans would expend political capital to pay off Democrats in order to help pass one of Obama’s top priorities is absurd. Yet, that is exactly what McConnell did when he promised Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) a vote on the reauthorization of the Ex-Im Bank charter in exchange for her and a contingent of Democrats agreeing to vote for cloture on Obamatrade last Thursday.

McConnell has refused to negotiate or fight vigorously to allow votes on conservative priorities, but he is willing to surrender the one impending victory against corporate welfare in order to bail out Obama from troubles with his own party! Even more troubling, at a time when McConnell has blocked conservatives from offering amendments, even those that are germane to pending legislation, he is abdicating his authority as Majority Leader to set the Senate to Cantwell next month by allowing her to file cloture on a bill reauthorizing the Ex-Im Bank. And according to Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), this non-germane bill will be attached to the eventual highway bill, which is regarded by the Washington political class as “must pass legislation.” This will make it very difficult for conservatives to block the bill. And to top it all off, McConnell is doing all this while he claims to oppose the Export-Import Bank.

Republicans can pocket a victory that would shrink the size of government by simply doing nothing and allowing the Bank’s charter to expire, but McConnell, in order to help Obama, is willing to forgo that victory. The entire purpose of winning back the Senate when lacking 60 votes to affirmatively pass legislation is to control the floor and block liberal initiatives from coming to a vote. With every Democrat and many establishment Republicans potentially supporting Ex-Im’s reauthorization, allowing Cantwell control over the floor will ensure the passage of this handout to Boeing and General Motors – at a time when conservatives are working overtime to re-establish the Republican Party as a free market beacon for all.

McConnell’s double game is so infuriating because there has never been more momentum behind eliminating the charter of this corruption-laden federal entity. In addition to the conservative leaders in the House, the ranks of those who want to see Ex-Im expire include Reps. Jeb Hensarling, Paul Ryan, Steve Scalise, and Kevin McCarthy. Why can’t McConnell just take yes for an answer?

Sadly, McConnell doesn’t share conservative policy goals so naturally he has no qualms about sabotaging this impending victory over big government. In fact, he supports the big government cronies pushing for the Ex-Im Bank.

While McConnell works on his new memoir, The Long Game, he ought to include a lengthy chapter titled: The Double Game. (See “McConnell Gives Poster Child of Corporate Welfare a Pass”, originally posted HERE)
