China’s Military May Be Making a New Human-Infecting Coronavirus Deadlier than COVID-19

China caused the COVID-19 pandemic by artificially manipulating the structure of a natural bat coronavirus to make it infectious to humans.

It appears that China is now repeating that process with a far deadlier coronavirus.

There was much concern expressed in the international media recently about a potentially more transmissible and more lethal coronavirus called “NeoCoV,” described in a January 25, 2022, scientific article published by Chinese scientists from Wuhan University.

NeoCoV is a member of a group of coronaviruses, one of which caused the 2012 Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) outbreak that killed 34% of the approximately 2,500 people it infected.

According to the Chinese authors, NeoCoV binds, not just to the bat DPP4 receptor found in most MERS coronaviruses, but also weakly binds to ACE2, which is the human receptor for the highly transmissible COVID-19 virus.

The Chinese scientists, at least one of which, Xiangxi Wang, has extensive links to China’s People’s Liberation Army, then proceeded to genetically engineer NeoCoV to increase its ability to infect humans.

Like the laboratory creation of COVID-19, Chinese scientists have again taken a coronavirus found in nature and artificially manipulated its structure to infect humans, but now with a virus capable of producing a 34% lethality rate compared to 1.6% for COVID-19.

NeoCoV is not a “new” virus, but was found in 2011 in Africa, and, therefore, is not an emerging disease threat to China.

China appears to be using the same methodology for NeoCoV as was used in the laboratory creation of COVID-19.

From the beginning, COVID-19 appeared to be well-adapted, even “pre-adapted” for binding to human cells because it did not undergo the same mutation and adaptation to humans over time as did the SARS virus from the 2002-2004 pandemic. From the beginning, COVID-19 resembled a late-stage SARS-infection.

COVID-19 also binds to human cells 15-times better than the 2002-2004 SARS virus, which, unlike COVID-19, is believed to be a natural animal to human disease transmission.

What is far more disturbing and indicative of bioweapon development is the recent (January 2021) interest being shown by Chinese scientists in NeoCoV’s furin cleavage site.

Already in 2005, furin cleavage sites were known to increase both the transmissibility and pathogenicity of coronaviruses, including an ability to infect multiple human organ systems.

The increase in a coronavirus’ furin “score” is related to the number of basic amino acids in the sequence, as well as the three-dimensional structure and other chemical characteristics.

As a rule of thumb, however, two basic amino acids in the sequence are more effective than one and three are more effective than two.

What distinguishes COVID-19 from all the other bat coronaviruses from which it could have evolved are the multiple basic amino acids in its furin cleavage site.

COVID-19 has a five-times higher furin score than the 2002-2004 SARS virus, which has only a single basic amino acid in its furin cleavage site.

The artificial insertion of the furin polybasic cleavage site is the “smoking gun” evidence for the laboratory origin of COVID-19.

NeoCoV (Coronavirus Neoromicia/PML-PHE1/RSA/2011) has the lowest furin score within a group of similar coronaviruses.

No doubt, scientists in China’s fused military-civilian virus research program are conducting experiments to genetically-engineer a more effective furin cleavage site in NeoCoV and similar highly lethal coronaviruses.

Even without speculation, the information contained in the recently published Chinese NeoCoV article alone should be setting off alarm bells in the U.S. government and in the scientific community worldwide.

By Breitbart. Biden-appointed U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy said Silicon Valley tech companies have an “important role to play” in preventing the spread of alleged coronavirus “misinformation.” His comments came during an MSNBC interview that specifically mentioned Joe Rogan.

Murthy made the comments during an appearance on MSNBC, in which host Mika Brzezinski asked Murthy what should be done about alleged misinformation from Joe Rogan and social media posts.

“What do you think are the best ways to push back on misinformation about COVID that continues to be aggressively pushed, whether it be Joe Rogan’s podcast or all over Facebook?” asked Brzezinski.

“We can have the best science available, we can have the best public health expertise available. Neil Young Asks Artists to Join His Anti-spotify Crusade After Joe Rogan Ultimatum Failed

By Breitbart. Left-wing rocker Neil Young is now pushing for other artists to pull their music from Spotify, calling the audio streaming service a “damaging force” that is causing “24 year old’s” to end up on “the wrong side of the truth.”

Young’s call comes after Spotify said it would pull the singer’s music from its platform following his demand that the company either remove his music or blacklist Joe Rogan and his popular podcast.

On Wednesday, Young continued his attacks against Spotify on his website, claiming that the company “has recently become a very damaging force,” and urged others to join him in removing their music from the platform. “I sincerely hope that other artists and record companies will move off the Spotify platform and stop supporting Spotify’s deadly misinformation about Covid.”

In his diatribe, the former Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young member also suggested that content needs to be censored on Spotify because most of its listeners are “24 years old,” which makes them “impressionable.”

“Most of the listeners hearing the unfactual, misleading and false COVID information on SPOTIFY are 24 years old, impressionable and easy to swing to the wrong side of the truth,” the singer wrote. World Reckoning? People Around the World Protest Their Countries’ Vaccine Mandates (VIDEO)

By Daily Caller. Thousands of people across the world took to the streets over the weekend to protest their governments’ vaccine mandates and COVID-19 restrictions.

Things kicked off Saturday in Canada, where nearly 3,000 truckers and thousands more protesters effectively shut down parts of Ottawa near Canada’s parliament. The self-proclaimed “Freedom Convoy” began on the nation’s west coast in Vancouver as a protest against Canada’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for truckers, and inspired similar demonstrations throughout Europe.

Both the United States and Canada instituted cross-border vaccine mandates for truckers in January. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused the opposition Conservative Party of “fear mongering” about supply chain issues as his country experiences inflation and goods shortages.

Canadian officials have stressed that 90% of truckers crossing the American border are fully vaccinated and that the U.S. policy effectively means that a dropping of the mandate by Ottawa wouldn’t change anything.

That didn’t stop protesters from remaining around the capital Sunday and Monday, blocking traffic and promising to remain until all coronavirus mandates are gone, not just the trucking border requirement. “It’s not just about the vaccines. Trucker ‘Freedom Convoy’ protests Justin Trudeau’s vaccine mandates

By New York Post. A convoy of Canadian truckers and their supporters rolled into the nation’s capital city of Ottawa Saturday to protest Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

The so-called “Freedom Convoy” started as a protest against a vaccine requirement for cross-border truckers, but grew into a mass demonstration against the Canadian government over other coronavirus regulations.

Dozens of trucks were lined up in front of the Parliament buildings Saturday morning, blowing their horns while thousands of people gathered peacefully on snow-covered lawns. By the end of the day, about 2,700 trucks were expected, a federal government source told Reuters.

Few wore masks, but many sported balaclavas as the temperature with windchill hit -6 degrees.

“It’s not just about the vaccines. It’s about stopping the public health mandates altogether,” said Daniel Bazinet, owner of Valley Flatbed & Transportation in Nova Scotia.

Ivermectin ‘Safe’ and ‘Effective’ for Treating Omicron: Japanese Company

A Japanese conglomerate has found that the anti-parasitic drug ivermectin is effective and safe for the treatment of the coronavirus Omicron variant, according to a phase III clinical trial.

Kowa Co. Ltd., a conglomerate with interests in trading, hospitality, and electronics, along with health and medical applications, issued a press release (pdf) on Jan. 31 stating that ivermectin has been found to be effective against Omicron.

Kowa representatives didn’t respond to a request for comment by press time.

The company, working with Kitasato University based in Tokyo, said that ivermectin has the “same antiviral effect” on all “mutant strains,” including Alpha, Delta, and Omicron. Kowa added that ivermectin suppresses invasion of the virus and inhibits its replication.

Country Plans to End Vaccination Requirements for Health Care Workers

The United Kingdom is moving to end its vaccine requirement for health care workers.

Speaking before Parliament Monday, U.K. Health Minister Sajid Javid announced that the government would open discussions on ending vaccination as a condition of employment in health and social care settings, citing the overwhelming population of vaccinated people and evidence suggesting that the Omicron variant is less severe than previous variants of COVID-19.

“Last Thursday, we woke up to a new phase of this pandemic, as we returned to Plan A,” Javid said. “People are no longer advised to work from home. Face coverings are no longer mandatory. Organisations no longer have to require the NHS Covid Pass. And from today, there’s no limit on the number of visitors allowed to care homes. Week by week, we are carefully moving our COVID response from one of rules and restrictions, back to one of personal responsibility.”

“We know of course that COVID-19 is here to stay,” he continued. “While some countries remain stuck on a zero-COVID strategy and others think about how they will safely open up here, we’re showing the way forward, and showing the world what successfully living with COVID looks like. The principle we’re applying is the same principle that’s guided our actions throughout this pandemic: and that is to achieve the maximum protection of public health with the minimum intrusion in people’s everyday lives. To me, this is what learning to live with COVID is all about.”

Javid then turned to the regulation which mandated vaccines as a condition of employment in health care. “When we consulted on Vaccination as a Condition of Deployment in the NHS and wider social care settings the evidence showed that vaccine effectiveness against infection from the dominant Delta variant has been, or was, between 65 and 80 percent depending on which vaccines you had received,” he said. “Balanced against this clear benefit was the risk that there would always be some people who would not do the responsible thing and choose to remain unvaccinated and in doing so, choosing to walk away from their jobs in health and care.” (Read more from “Country Plans to End Vaccination Requirements for Health Care Workers” HERE)

This Senate Rule Could Stop Democrats From Confirming Biden’s SCOTUS Nominee

With Justice Stephen Breyer officially announcing his retirement on Thursday (a full 24 hours after the White House announced it for him), Senate Democrats will have a chance to fill a Supreme Court seat, likely before the 2022 midterm elections in November.

But ever since 2017, when Senate Republicans invoked the nuclear option to confirm Supreme Court justices at a simple majority, instead of at the usual 60 votes necessary to break a filibuster, there has been procedurally little minorities can do to prevent a nomination from moving forward (the outright lies, smears, and chaos tactics Senate Democrats employed against Justice Brett Kavanaugh notwithstanding).

This conventional wisdom, however, is true only of Senates that present a clear minority-majority differential. The Senate of 2022 is tied, with 50 Democrats and 50 Republicans, which presents Republicans with an interesting procedural option: denying a quorum in the Senate Judiciary Committee, thus preventing the nomination from being reported out of committee and placed on the calendar, and ultimately moved to the Senate floor.

In parliamentary practice, a quorum is the number of members that must be present to hold votes and conduct official committee business. By failing to show up to vote on the nomination in committee, Republicans could prevent the nomination from reaching the Senate floor by appealing to the Senate’s Rule 26, which requires that a majority of members, physically present, report the bill out of committee. (The Senate’s Rule 14, which allows senators to bypass committee consideration for legislation, cannot be used for nominations.)

What has made this strategy ineffective in the past — namely, a Senate majority being able to present a numerical majority of their members in committee — is what makes it work in 2022, where the Senate’s committee membership, reflecting the makeup of the Senate, is in a tie. Biology Class Compares Transgenderism With Tree Frogs That Change Sex

A biology class at a Massachusetts high school compared transgenderism in humans to clownfish and a species of tree frog, both of which can change their sex under certain conditions.

The comparison was part of a series of slides that discussed variation in human biology in regards to sex, gender, gender expression, and sexual orientation.

The slides, which were obtained by the parent activist group Parents Defending Education and reviewed by the Washington Examiner, say that “humans are conditioned to view sex and gender as binary.”

In a slide that discusses “human biological variation,” the lesson mentions “intersex people” and that “only mentioning biological sex as male and female marginalises intersex people who have been persistently discriminated against.”

Intersex is a rare genetic condition caused by the presence of multiple sex chromosomes, resulting in the presence of both male and female physical characteristics. The Needham High School lesson says that intersex is found in close to 2% of the population, which Erika Sanzi, the director of outreach for Parents Defending Education, said was false. Surprise! Religious Rights Victory Is Wonderful News for Children

In a victory for religious rights across America, the state of Michigan has agreed to settle a lawsuit with a provision that allows a religious adoption agency to decline to place children with same-sex duos, because that would violate members’ faith.

The state also will be paying the agency $550,000 for its fees and costs in the dispute.

The Washington Examiner reported the conclusion of the case involving Michigan and St. Vincent Catholic Charities is that “faith-based adoption agencies and foster care organizations contracting with the Michigan government will not be required to grant children to same-sex couples.”

Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced in a statement that it was resuming contracting with agencies that disallow adoptions by same-sex duos.

Officials cited a June 2021 U.S. Supreme Court ruling, on the same dispute in Philadelphia, in which Chief Justice John Roberts wrote Philadelphia’s discrimination against those organizations violated the First Amendment. Jewish Couple Sues to Stop Tennessee Christians From Helping With Adoptions

Elizabeth and Gabriel Rutan-Ram are suing the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, but their real beef is with the Holston United Methodist Home for Children. The Knoxville couple, who are Jewish, wished to adopt a boy from Florida, but part of the adoption process involved them taking a state-approved family training course.

According to the lawsuit they filed in state court, they reached out to Holston United because it was the only government-approved agency that could provide them the services they needed. But after initially thinking the home would work with them, they were told that the Methodist group’s core religious principles forbid it from placing children in non-Christian homes. . .

But if they win their case, it will be a blow to religious freedom rather than a triumph for it.

The goal of the lawsuit is to overturn legislation signed into law by Gov. Bill Lee in January 2020 that explicitly permits religious adoption agencies to decline to be involved in cases that “would violate the agency’s written religious or moral convictions or policies.” The Rutan-Rams’ lawyers — backed by the American Civil Liberties Union — contend the law violates both the Tennessee Constitution and the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees freedom of religion. Under Biden Proposal, Everyone Including Kids Could More Easily Get Transgender Surgery

The Biden administration is pushing for more insurers, and thus anyone who buys their insurance, to cover transgender surgeries. Such genital, breast, and facial surgery, as well as hormone therapy and more, would be considered “medically necessary” for those wishing to identify with the other sex.

Discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability is prohibited in federally funded health-care facilities under the Affordable Care Act, passed during the Obama administration. A proposed rule, issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on January 5, would add “sexual orientation and gender identity” to that list.

The rule “places ideology ahead of sound medicine,” the Ethics and Public Policy Center said in a comment Thursday opposing the rule. It “is without legal support, contradicts long-standing scientific understandings of the human person, attempts to evade court injunctions, promotes harm to patients (especially minors), tramples religious freedom,” and more, according to the EPPC.

Taxpayers are already paying for transgender procedures, as they are covered by the federal program Medicaid in some states. Some insurers also already cover the procedures.

“Nearly half of transgender respondents in one survey said their health insurance company denied them gender affirming [sic] surgery, and a similar proportion reported that they were denied coverage for hormone therapy,” the proposed rule states, in reference to a Center for American Progress study.
