By The Blaze. A pilot for Southwest Airlines triggered one customer — who happened to be an Associated Press reporter — on Friday after saying “Let’s go, Brandon” over the plane’s intercom system.

Over the last month, “Let’s go, Brandon” has become a national chant to express opposition to President Joe Biden.

The incident on the Southwest Airlines flight took place Friday morning.

“On Friday morning on a Southwest flight from Houston to Albuquerque, the pilot signed off his greeting over the public address system with the phrase, to audible gasps from some passengers,” the AP reported.

Pilot Under Investigation for Saying ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ During Announcement, Southwest Airlines Says

By ABC 13. A Southwest Airlines pilot is under investigation after he allegedly used a phrase used as a way of swearing at President Joe Biden.

The incident happened Friday on a flight out of Houston. The pilot was finishing his announcement when he used the phrase, “Let’s go Brandon.” . . .

In a statement, Southwest Airlines said it is conducting an internal investigation into the reported event while “continuing to remind all employees that public expression of personal opinions while on duty is unacceptable.”

Report: U.S. Intelligence Agencies Won’t Determine COVID-19 Origins

With the information currently available to them, U.S. intelligence agencies say they won’t be able to definitively determine how COVID-19 originated.

The Associated Press reported that intelligence officials on Friday said they could not conclude “whether COVID-19 spread by animal-to-human transmission or leaked from a lab” while releasing a full review of their investigation into the origins.

“The paper issued by the Director of National Intelligence elaborates on findings released in August of a 90-day review ordered by President Joe Biden. That review said that U.S. intelligence agencies were divided on the origins of the virus but that analysts do not believe the virus was developed as a bioweapon and that most agencies believe the virus was not genetically engineered,” the AP reported.

The outlet also noted that China is not being forthcoming when it comes to investigations of the origins of the virus.

Former President Donald Trump and Republicans initially tried to find out how the coronavirus originated but were dismissed as conspiracy theorists and racists. As The Daily Wire previously reported, the Biden administration earlier this year admitted that it was just as possible that the coronavirus escaped from a lab in Wuhan, China, as it was that the virus emerged naturally. It was a complete turnaround from the previous year, when media outlets such as The Washington Post declared suggestions that the virus originated in a Wuhan lab were “debunked. Back then, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) was “fact checked” by people who had no first-hand knowledge of where the virus came from, but who insisted China must be telling the truth that the coronavirus originated in a wet market. Report: AT&T Offering Critical Race Theory Training Program: ‘White People, You Are the Problem’

AT&T — the world’s largest telecommunications company — offers an employee training program that teaches premises such as “American racism is a uniquely white trait” and “white people, you are the problem,” according to a new report. AT&T has disputed some of the claims in the report, and dismissed it as “misleading.”

According to internal documents obtained by journalist Christopher F. Rufo, AT&T launched an initiative called “Listen Understand Act” last year that is “based on the core principles of critical race theory, including ‘intersectionality,’ ‘systemic racism,’ ‘white privilege,’ and ‘white fragility.'”

A senior AT&T employee, who spoke to Rufo on the condition of anonymity, said managers at the company now face annual assessments on diversity issues, and there is “mandatory participation” in “race reeducation exercises.” The source allegedly told Rufo that white employees are “expected to confess their complicity in ‘white privilege’ and ‘systemic racism,’ or they will be penalized in their performance reviews.”

The initiative encourages employees to read a Chicago Tribune article written by Dahleen Glanton that says, “White people, you are the problem. Taliban Warns of Consequences if U.S. Fails to Recognize Their Government

The Taliban warned the U.S. and the rest of the global community Saturday that their decision to withhold formal recognition of Afghanistan’s new government may result in consequences for the world.

“Our message to America is, if unrecognition continues, Afghan problems continue, it is the problem of the region and could turn into a problem for the world,” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said at Saturday’s press.

Mujahid noted that absence of formal diplomatic ties between Afghanistan and the U.S. led to the military invasion in 2001, Reuters reported.

Wisconsin Elections Commission ‘Shattered’ Laws by Telling Nursing Home Staffers to Illegally Cast Ballots for Residents

Racine County, Wisconsin law enforcement blew the 2020 election integrity question wide open on Thursday after an investigation into one nursing home. It revealed not only that state election officials flagrantly broke the law and ordered health-care employees to help them, but that the problem likely runs much deeper throughout the swing state’s other 71 counties.

An “election statute was in fact not just broken, but shattered by members of the Wisconsin Elections Commission,” Sheriff Christopher Schmaling said during a Thursday press conference in which he and Sgt. Michael Luell detailed the findings of an investigation into Ridgewood Care Facility. . .

The investigation came about when a woman named Judy signed a sworn affidavit with the Wisconsin Elections Commission after she discovered that her mother, who had died on Oct. 9, 2020 after a period of severe cognitive decline, had voted in the 2020 presidential election. The affidavit was later passed along as a complaint to the county district attorney.

Judy alleged that her mother Shirley’s mental state had deteriorated so far that she was having hallucinations and wasn’t able to recall what she had eaten during a day or even what day it was. According to Judy, her mother couldn’t see — her glasses were broken, and she couldn’t even recognize her own daughter — so even if she were of a sound mind, she wouldn’t have known whether someone assisting her with a ballot had voted according to her wishes. Former U.S. Soldier Sneaks Into Afghanistan on Heroic Rescue Mission, Saves Family and Christians From the Taliban

A former U.S. soldier embarked on a dangerous rescue mission to save his family members and Christians from the Taliban in Afghanistan, according to a Fox News report. The “proud American soldier” claims he was forced to sneak into the Taliban-controlled Afghanistan to rescue his relatives because the U.S. government didn’t offer him or his family any assistance.

A former U.S. Army staff sergeant knew that his family in Kabul were in serious jeopardy when the Taliban marched into power over the summer. After the last U.S. military was withdrawn from the country on the afternoon of Aug. 30, there was nobody to provide protection to his family in Kabul – especially since his family was connected to a U.S. soldier.

The former soldier – an Afghan native who remained anonymous to protect his family in Afghanistan – allegedly attempted to get assistance from the Biden administration. . .

“I had no choice but to come here myself after I learned that there was an ambush on my family’s house once more,” he claims. “I still haven’t heard anything from our government as far as any sort of assistance.” . . .

The former U.S. soldier alleges that he was able to rescue his family and get them out of the country, but did not reveal which country they escaped to. A Ban on Arctic Drilling Remains in Democrats’ New Reconciliation Framework While Gas Prices Soar

House Democrats unveiled a revamped version of the “Build Back Better” plan on Thursday, watered down to a still-colossal $1.75 trillion price tag from the $3.5 trillion that failed to pass earlier last month.

The sweeping social spending bill with $550 billion allocated to climate change alone was released hours ahead of President Joe Biden’s trip to Europe for a global summit on emissions. . .

Local indigenous groups within the refuge have lobbied for decades to open up their backyard for drilling, only to be stopped by D.C. Democrats who demand the flat-tundra surface of Alaska’s north slope remain a museum they would maybe one day like to visit. Opposition from a rival tribe hundreds of miles south has been exploited to cloak Arctic protections under the left’s moral imperative of social justice, even though drilling in the adjacent Prudhoe Bay has shown no harm to the region’s major wildlife such as caribou. The Kentucky high school principal under fire over photos that show him receiving lap dances from scantily clad students during a “Man Pageant” this week also watched a male student in a white gown writhe on a gym floor — and even touch and rub him — to the tune of Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” in a newly surfaced 2020 video. . .

Kentucky sports journalist Nate Bryan posted the video to Twitter and said Hazard High School Principal Donald “Happy” Mobelini — who’s also mayor of the eastern Kentucky city — watched the action from the “front row.”

In the clip, the male student in the white gown imitates Madonna’s infamous live rendition of “Like a Virgin” in which the legendary singer writhed onstage in sexually suggestive ways.

In the 2020 video recorded during Hazard’s homecoming week, the male student rubs his hands on and places his arms around Mobelini’s neck, and later the principal claps along to the beat. American Airlines Cancels More Than 1,000 Flights Over Halloween Weekend

American Airlines canceled over 1,000 flights over the Halloween weekend, blaming weather woes and staffing issues.

On Sunday, the airline canceled 527 total flights, or 19 percent of all of its planned flights that day, accounting for nearly one-third of all of the country’s cancelations, according to data from aviation tracking website FlightAware. Another 31 flights, or 1 percent, were delayed.

American canceled an additional 543 flights, or 20 percent of its total planned flights, on Saturday. Another 407 flights, or 15 percent of its flights, were delayed, according to data.

In a note to staff on Saturday, American COO David Seymour blamed the delays on poor weather conditions around the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, the airline’s base of operations, that had displaced staff around the country, according to CNBC. Satanists Convince School District to Change Anti-Satanic Dress Code

Satanists earned a victory after convincing a Pennsylvania school district to remove a student dress code ban on clothes that are “satanic in nature.”

The Rose Tree Media School District, just west of Philadelphia, had included a ban on satanic clothing, along with clothes those that are sexually suggestive, obscene or promote violence. But earlier this week, the superintendent issued a statement that the dress code’s reference to satanic clothing would be removed, reported WPVI-TV, an ABC TV station in Philadelphia.

“Although we have had no complaints or concerns brought forward by any student, parent, or resident we will remove this language from our current dress code information in the student handbook,” the announcement read, according to WPVI.

Joseph Rose, founder of the Philadelphia area group Satanic Delco, began contacting the school district about a month ago after learning about the dress code language from parents with children in the district.
