Huckabee Reveals His Christmas ‘Naughty and Nice’ Lists

To get into the Christmas spirit, Mike Huckabee offered his “naughty and nice” list for 2017.

The former Arkansas governor said 2017 has been quite eventful.

Huckabee said his “naughty list” is led by several federal agents who have come under scrutiny for their alleged actions in regard to the Clinton email probe and special investigation into President Trump.

Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, Agent Peter Strzok and Department of Justice employee Bruce Ohr led Huckabee’s naughty list.

McCabe is suspected of being the “Andy” mentioned among the thousands of texts between Strzok and his mistress – also a federal employee – in which the two discuss an “insurance policy” against Trump being elected. (Read more from “Huckabee Reveals His Christmas ‘Naughty and Nice’ Lists” HERE)

For the Media: Nothing but Coal This Christmas

“He’s making a list. He’s checking it twice. He’s gonna find out who’s naughty or nice.” When it comes to the mainstream media, Santa definitely has them on the naughty list. The whole biased crew of them should expect nothing but coal in their stockings this Christmas.

Media bias is nothing new. But in 2017, it shifted into overdrive. Donald Trump’s inauguration as president set off a year of outright media hostility that is unprecedented in its scope.

Yes, the media have always attacked conservatives with shoddy facts and outright opinion dressed up as news. But in 2017, that morphed into something else altogether: vile hatred of those they disagree with. Sure, the media have always painted conservatives as “evil and heartless,” but it always seemed it was some sort of game they were playing.

Their treatment of Trump is different.

The media decided early on that Trump was the singular enemy who must be destroyed. The members of the media anointed themselves as just the ones to do it. And their venom has extended to anyone who dares to support the president.

Here are just a few reasons that the media deserve a stocking full of coal.

A focus on Russia, without evidence … After months of investigations, congressional hearings, and nonstop coverage in the press, there has not been any concrete evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government to affect the election.

Did the Russian government try to sow discord in the United States leading up to the election? Absolutely. Did Russians do things to attack both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton? Absolutely. Did the Russians collude with Donald Trump? No evidence has been presented to that effect in public, despite the attempts by the media, like Brian Ross at ABC and Manu Raju at CNN, to proffer fake news saying it happened.

Downplaying the real collusion … When stories have been published showing real collusion between agents of the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee, with foreign agents liaising with the Kremlin, those stories have been glossed over by the mainstream media. Moreover, those actually covering the story have been ridiculed for the focus.

Here’s what we know that the media has glossed over: The Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC reportedly paid a law firm to hide payments from the FEC that ultimately went to Fusion GPS, a shady opposition research shop that then paid a retired foreign spy to investigate its American political rival with the help of the Kremlin.

That “investigation” found its way to the FBI through Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and reportedly formed the basis for obtaining FISA warrants for the Obama administration to spy on political opponents.

No bias by investigators … There have been scattered stories in the media about the bias of the FBI agents investigating the 2016 election and Clinton emails. We also know that some of those agents and others with outright partisan leanings have made it onto special counsel Robert Mueller’s team.

Heck, there is even a text from one of those FBI agents seeming to plot an “insurance policy” in case Trump was elected. Those are concerning developments. If the shoe were reversed and these agents were biased toward, say, Barack Obama, the media would be in overdrive. Instead, they mock those pointing it out. This approach is right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook.

Inciting violence … When a man walked onto a baseball field where Republican members of Congress were practicing and opened fire, he did so because he hated Republicans. He hated their policies and saw it as his duty to kill them.

For too long the left-wing media have painted Republicans and conservatives as heartless, evil people who want to hurt their fellow Americans. Nobody does this more so than Rachel Maddow at MSNBC. Is it any wonder, then, that a look at the social media of the killer showed that he was a superfan of Maddow and parroted her talking points? There is a very strong case to be made that the domestic terrorist was radicalized by watching the Maddow show.

There are a whole host of other reasons that the media deserve coal from jolly old St. Nick this year. These were just the main reasons.

To be sure, there are people of good will who work for outlets in the mainstream media. But taken as a whole, the media deserve nothing but coal this year. (For more from the author of “For the Media: Nothing but Coal This Christmas” please click HERE)

Remembering Our Old School-Style Parents at Christmas

It occurred to me that like millions of lower- to middle-class American families back in the day, my parents did an awesome job at Christmastime. With little money, they always found a way to give their kids happy Christmases.

As the nine-year-old eldest, I babysat my four siblings. I knew that Mom and Dad did not have a lot of money. And yet I never thought we were poor or felt shortchanged at Christmas. I don’t remember my three brothers and sister ever feeling shortchanged at Christmas. How awesome is that? Given their financial challenges, my parents had to be magicians to pull off that trick. Somehow, they performed their magic every year. I kind of took it for granted. Looking back, all I can say is “wow!” . . .

One Christmas, when we were still living in the Baltimore government housing project, I found a used bicycle hidden deep in the closet. I knew that the bike was my Christmas present. I was elated because I knew that Mom and Dad could not afford it. Mom was disappointed that I had seen the bike. I told her I was a big boy and wanted to help her and dad play Santa, setting up the gifts Christmas Eve for my younger siblings. She said, “Okay”.

Old-school American parents were awesome. They were responsible early in their adulthood, doing whatever needed to be done. My Baby-Boomer generation seems to be pretty spoiled and self-focused.

At 29 years old, my dad had fathered his five kids and tried to be a stand-in father and role model for my Aunt Bummie’s five boys. They loved my dad and envied me for having him. (Read more from “Remembering Our Old School-Style Parents at Christmas” HERE)

No Peace on Earth: Palestinians Cite Jesus in Refusal of US-Brokered Deal With Israel

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas sent a Christmas letter to Palestinian Christians using Jesus’s teachings to justify refusal of any peace deal negotiated by the U.S.

Abbas wrote that Palestinians refused to accept any peace deal from the U.S. in light of President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, according to Haaretz.

Abbas called Trump’s decision an “insult to millions of people worldwide, and also to the city of Bethlehem,” citing Jesus’s birthplace and quoting Christian scriptures to justify Palestinians’ refusal to reconcile.

“We are inspired by the message of Jesus, who refused injustice and spread a word of hope,” Abbas wrote in the letter, according to Haaretz.

“The Holy Bible says ‘Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be filled.’

“Threats against those who support justice will be met with the same spirit and response from our nation and from millions of dignified people around the world.”

The Palestinian president’s letter also cited local Palestinian churches’ opposition to the U.S. acknowledgement of Jerusalem, and said that such an acknowledgement supported “illegality and the blatant violations of our rights.”

Abbas had the letter sent during his meeting and subsequent news conference in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Abbas called on European countries to aid the Palestinians in achieving their goals in peace negotiations, and said that the U.S. was “no longer an honest mediator in the peace process.”

Macron responded by condemning what he saw as an overreach on the part of the U.S. in the peace process between Palestinians and Israel, which he said was a process that should be left entirely to the Israelis and Palestinians.

The United Nations also rejected the U.S. recognition of Jerusalem in a resolution member countries passed Thursday.

The U.N. resolution garnered support from Abbas, Palestinian diplomat and peace negotiator Saeb Erekat and Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum, who called the resolution “a step in the right direction.”

“The world is saying that President Trump’s declaration in the eyes of the international community is a void and unjust decision,” Erekat said, according to Haaretz. ‘Christmas Card’ Gen. Patton Gave US Troops May Be Manliest Ever Created

When then-President-elect Donald Trump announced Gen. James “Mad Dog” Mattis as his pick for secretary of defense, he told a crowd in Cincinnati, “They say that he is the closest thing to Gen. George Patton that we have,” according to RealClearPolitics.

That was no small statement. Patton looms large over American political history, especially after George C. Scott’s masterful screen performance as the World War II general.

Few scenes in American cinematic history are as iconic as Scott, in character, pacing before the American flag and delivering a speech to his men.

And yet, for all of Hollywood’s hero-making, the real man was even more of a legend — and this Christmas card proves just that.

During the holiday season of 1944, Patton’s Third Army was bogged down in its advance against the Germans.

According to WND, Patton was delayed as he was trying to reach Bastogne, a town in southern Belgium held by 15,000 American troops but encircled by over 50,000 Nazi soldiers bearing down on it.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, Gen. Patton didn’t have the air cover he needed to relieve the 15,000 brave American troops holding off the Germans.

That’s when he decided to rely on the power of prayer.

Patton had Chaplain Fr. James O’Neill compose a card to be distributed to each one of the 250,000 troops under his command in the Third Army, and had all of the men pray this simple prayer:

“Almighty and most merciful Father, we humbly beseech Thee, of Thy great goodness, to restrain these immoderate rains with which we have had to contend,” it read.

“Grant us fair weather for Battle. Graciously hearken to us as soldiers who call Thee that, armed with Thy power, we may advance from victory to victory, and crush the oppression and wickedness of our enemies, and establish Thy justice among men and nations. Amen.”

On the reverse side, Patton wrote, “To each officer and soldier in the Third United States Army, I wish a Merry Christmas. I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty, and skill in battle. We march in our might to complete victory. May God’s blessings rest upon each of you on this Christmas Day. — G.S. Patton, Jr., Lieutenant General, Commanding, Third United States Army.”

And it worked.

The next day, the weather cleared, Patton’s Third Army made its way into Bastogne to relieve the 101st Airborne, stymie the Nazis, and … well, you know the rest.

If that isn’t a Christmas card to end all Christmas cards, I don’t know what is. (For more from the author of “‘Christmas Card’ Gen. Patton Gave US Troops May Be Manliest Ever Created” please click HERE)

Canadian Government Claims Santa Is Relocating to the South Pole for Absurd Reason

A Canadian government website claims Santa Claus signed an international agreement to relocate his workshop to the South Pole to escape the effects of man-made global warming in the Arctic.

The website for Policy Horizons Canada, a government website, notes that due to “rapidly melting Arctic ice and growing human operations in the North, Santa Claus has signed an agreement with the International community to relocate his village next year to operate in an exclusive zone in the South Pole.”

Policy Horizons was created to advise government officials on emerging public policy issues.

The group put out a series of Christmas-themed blog posts that tie into emerging liberal policy concerns.

Horizons also put out blog posts on Santa relying on a self-flying sleigh, investing in Bitcoin and even using 3D printing technology to make toys.

The latest blog post, however, is meant to focus on climate refugees.

“Santa’s relocation agreement marks the first time that the international community agrees on a common legal definition of climate change that includes refugees as corporations, as well as individuals,” reads the Horizons website.

“This deal is expected to lead to the deployment of a global climate change refugee visa system that in the near future could help to more easily relocate individuals and corporations facing the impacts of climate change,” the website continues.

Politicians and environmentalists have been claiming for years that man-made global warming will increase the number of peoples displaced by extreme weather events and violent conflicts.

A recent study even claimed temperature changes drove increased applications for asylum in Europe.

A June study predicted 2 billion “climate change refugees” by the end of the century if nothing is done to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Most famously, the United Nations Environment Program predicted there would be 50 million “climate refugees” by 2010.

When that didn’t come to pass, the U.N. quietly removed a web page containing the information, and pushed the prediction to 2020. (For more from the author of “Canadian Government Claims Santa Is Relocating to the South Pole for Absurd Reason” please click HERE)

Famous Actor Pegs Obama: ‘He’s a Muslim’

Actor James Woods tweeted the once unmentionable over the weekend about Barack Obama.

“He is a Muslim,” wrote Woods. “He can deny it, his apologists in the media can refute it, and his enablers can promote a narrative that he is a Christian. It’s a pack of lies. Obama is a Muslim and that is where his allegiance lies. Always has. Always will.”

Chuck Norris Asks: ‘Tis the Season to Stress

It should be the season to be jolly, yet sadly, too many folks are describing this time of year as more stressful than magical. Welcome to what is commonly known as the “holiday blues.”

A telephone survey conducted by the American Psychological Association recently demonstrated that – compared to other times of the year — out of 786 individuals polled, 44 percent of women and 31 percent of men felt more stress during the holidays. In addition, 51 percent of women and 42 percent of men said purchasing and giving gifts only added to their distress.

Although the holidays continue to be a time of joy for many, we must also acknowledge that the holiday season can trigger symptoms of anxiety and depression. There are many contributing factors to such feelings. Just the time change alone is said to cause as many as a third of people with a history of a major depressive disorder to experience a worsening of their symptoms. Depression is the world’s most common mental ailment, affecting approximately 16 percent of adults at some point in their lives.

If we have learned anything about the stresses of this time of year, it is that we cannot force ourselves to be happy just because it is the holiday season. People are faced with a dizzying array of demands. Schedules can become overloaded; stress is at its peak. It is hard to stop and regroup.

As pointed out in a study published in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, any kind of stress can strain relationships and cause us to withdraw from others. Perhaps unsurprisingly, a 2015 study found daily hassles like working, running errands, and money troubles negatively influence romantic unions, causing people to feel less satisfied and more alone in their relationships. When people are anxious and fatigued, it becomes more challenging to see someone else’s point of view. This may explain why family feuds seem more likely to arise during the holidays. Depictions of Moms in Traditional Roles Banned in Ads

Cooking, cleaning mums will be banned in advertisements across the UK from next year, following a study which claimed traditional gender roles are “harmful and outdated”.

The decision to tighten regulation was announced by the Committees of Advertising Practice (CAP) this week, after a report published in summer identified gender stereotypes in adverts as a driver of inequality between men and women.

“Wherever they appear or are reinforced, gender stereotypes can lead to mental, physical and social harm which can limit the potential of groups and individuals,” the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) alleged in its study.

Depictions deemed problematic include “family members creating a mess while a woman has sole responsibility for cleaning it up”, and adverts which “[suggest that] a specific activity is inappropriate for boys because it is stereotypically associated with girls, or vice-versa.”

Nanette Newman, an actress who appeared in 1980s Fairy Liquid commercials, told the Daily Mail the ban is “ridiculously over the top”. (Read more from “Depictions of Moms in Traditional Roles Banned in Ads” HERE)

You Won’t Love These Kids Presents

Horror stories have abounded in recent years about how those little children’s toys that have electronics embedded actually spy on children, listening to what they say and recording it, then connecting to WiFi and sending those personal and intimate family details back to a corporation.

Privacy groups have complained to the Federal Trade Commission about toys like “My Friend Cayla,” “I-Que Intelligent Robot” and “Aristotle,” which are “always-on” toys that hear whatever sounds are in the room.

WND reported only months ago how U.S. Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., wrote to the FTC expressing concern that the regulations for toys and related products are not keeping pace with “consumer and technology trends.”

He said toys that spy on kids by automatically connecting to the Internet through WiFi can deliver tantalizing tidbits of information about their lives to marketers.

“I worry that protections for children are not keeping pace with consumer and technology trends shaping the market for these products,” Warner said in a letter to acting FTC Chairwoman Maureen Ohlhausen at the time. (Read more from “You Won’t Love These Kids Presents” HERE)
