The Government continues to expend billions in alternative energy research as prices at the gas push $4 a gallon, with projections of $5 this summer, according to AAA. Meanwhile, the CEO of the taxpayer-funded National Renewable Energy Laboratory pulls in close to a million dollars a year, with his top two lieutenants raking in more than $500,000 a year. All in the district of one its most ardent supporters, Dem. Rep. Ed Perlmutter.

Apparently Rand Paul’s surviving – and thriving – after two plus years in the Senate has caused the Left to turn all guns on Sen. Ted Cruz. He must be doing something right – even the elderly Republican members of the Senate Club have chastised him for his impudent remarks directed at Defense nominee Chuck Hagel. Woe to any Senator – or Senate candidate – who threatens the Ruling Class or the Left.
