This Monday, Fox26Houston reporter Ivory Hecker went off script during a live report and informed her bosses that she had been secretly recording them and plans to hand over the recordings to the right-wing media watchdog group Project Veritas.

Hecker was about to start her report on power outages throughout the region, but interrupted her report to say she had an announcement.

Scotland Yard ‘Cover up’ of Murder Linked to Rupert Murdoch Tabloid Proved ‘Institutional Corruption’

In March 1987, the body of successful private investigator Daniel Morgan was discovered in a London pub car park after an ax had been driven deep into his skull. Despite five police investigations in the 34 years since, no one has ever been brought to justice over the murder—but, on Tuesday, Morgan’s family finally started to get some answers.

A damning report from an independent panel—released Tuesday after eight years of work—has accused London’s Metropolitan Police of “a form of institutional corruption” that saw it trying to “protect itself” by failing to acknowledge its repeated missteps in Britain’s biggest unsolved murder. It also accused one of Rupert Murdoch’s tabloid titles of trying to disrupt the murder investigation by intimidating its lead detective. . .

Fillery later replaced Morgan as [Jonathan] Rees’ [business] partner at Southern Investigations, and the two were known to sell stories to the now-defunct Murdoch-owned tabloid newspaper the News of the World. The panel said it had been investigating “connections between private investigators, police officers, and journalists at the News of the World,” and named one of its reporters, Alex Marunchak, as having a close connection to Southern.

Journalists from the Murdoch paper were caught spying on the case’s lead investigator, Detective Chief Superintendent David Cook, and the panel’s report said that its gathered evidence “suggests very strongly that the intrusive activity suffered by DCS Cook… was arranged by former DS Fillery and Alex Marunchak with a view to discrediting DCS Cook and/or to intimidate him and thus disrupt” his murder investigation. Ashli Babbitt’s Husband Demands Name of Capitol Police Officer Who Killed Her

Ashli Babbitt’s husband, Aaron Babbitt, is demanding that the identity of the Capitol Police officer who fatally shot her be released. The woman was killed while storming the U.S. Capitol with a legion of Trump supporters on Jan. 6. In her family’s latest attempt to uncover who shot her, Aaron appeared on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Monday (June 14).

“Somebody in D.C. knows. I think a lot of people know, but nobody is telling us and the silence is deafening,” he told Carlson. “I never expected to lose my wife to political violence.”

“There has never been a person Ashli ran across in her daily life that didn’t love her and wouldn’t remember her in some way, shape or form for the rest of her life,” he continued, adding that the public’s perception of his wife “sickens” him. “But this is the game. This is the social media craziness that people just run with a theory and just take off with it. You know, it is up to us and the ones that love her and people like you for not giving up on it.”

US Marshals Defy Federal Judge Who Goes Berserk Over Vaccines, Makes Accusations of Kidnapping

On Monday, The Washington Post reported that a federal judge in South Dakota is accusing members of the U.S. marshals Service of “kidnapping” after an incident that stemmed from the marshals refusal to disclose whether marshals had been vaccinated for COVID-19.

“U.S. District Judge Charles Kornmann, who sits in Aberdeen, tore into the U.S. Marshals Service for nearly an hour over their reaction to his decision at a hearing last month to question the deputy marshal in attendance about whether she had been vaccinated,” reported Devlin Barrett. “The deputy marshal, according to the judge, refused to answer the question, at which point he ordered her out of his courtroom. The marshals, in turn, took three of the defendants scheduled for hearings that day out of the courthouse. Biden’s America: Expert Estimates US Inflation at 12% (VIDEO)

Appearing Tuesday on CNBC’s Squawk Box, hedge fund manager Kyle Bass estimated that the United States’ inflation rate is approximately 12 percent. . .

KYLE BASS: When you look at the inflation numbers, these are chain-weighted inflation numbers. These are numbers that are designed to be artificially be low. If you look at a non-chain-weighted index of inflation, we think it’s running about 12 percent, and with short term interest rates still at zero, that means people who have money in the bank, in their savings, are losing 5 to 12 percent of their purchasing power annually. We have 34 percent more money in the US system than we did 14 months ago. Of course we’re going to have inflation and it’s going to be significant.

Oregon Legislator Is 1st-Ever Ousted After Capitol Breach

Republican lawmakers voted with majority Democrats in the Oregon House of Representatives to take the historic step of expelling a Republican member who let … protesters into the state Capitol on Dec. 21.

Legislators said on the House floor that this could be the most important vote they ever cast. They then proceeded Thursday night to expel an unapologetic Rep. Mike Nearman with a 59-1 vote, marking the first time a member has been expelled by the House in its 160-year history. The only vote against the resolution for expulsion was Nearman’s own.

By New York Post. President Biden embarrassed himself at the G-7 summit when he tried to correct British Prime Minister Boris Johnson for not introducing “the president of South Africa” — even though Johnson already did so by name.

The blooper — one of several Biden made amid the series of meetings with world leaders — prompted laughter at his expense at the start of a roundtable discussion in Cornwall, England. . .

After mentioning how the visiting dignitaries had brought “some pretty spectacular weather with them,” Johnson introduced Indian President Narendra Modi, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

At that point, Biden — seated between Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron — interjected.

Biden Accused of Violating Royal Protocol During Visit With the Queen

By New York Post. President Biden is being slammed for violating royal protocol in his meeting with the Queen, after he couldn’t be bothered to take off his sunglasses when he greeted the monarch at Windsor Castle, and then went on to spill details to the press about what they discussed over tea.

Biden, who with first lady Jill Biden met with the Queen on Sunday following the G7 summit in Britain, told the media at Heathrow Airport that the 95-year-old royal was interested in hearing more about Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

“We had a great talk. She wanted to know what the two leaders that I … the one I’m about to meet with, Mr. Putin, and she wanted to know about Xi Jinping, and we had a long talk, and she was very generous,” Biden said.

But revealing private details of a conversation with the Queen is a royal faux pas. . .

Biden Meets With World Leaders at G-7 Summit, Declares ‘Diplomacy Is Back’

By CBS News. President Biden on Sunday declared that “America is back to the table” after leaving his first Group of Seven summit, where world leaders vowed to confront China, boost global infrastructure and donate 1 billion vaccine doses to the rest of the world.

“I conveyed to each of my G-7 counterparts the U.S. is going to do our part. America is back to the table,” the president said in a press conference at the conclusion of the meeting with U.S. allies. “The lack of participation in the past and full engagement was noticed significantly, not only by the leaders of those countries but by the people in the G-7 countries.”

Mr. Biden called the meeting, his first with the group since assuming the presidency, “extraordinary collaborative and productive,” and said ending the coronavirus pandemic and ensuring an “equitable and inclusive” global economic recovery were the foremost priorities for the U.S. and its allies. YouTube Bans Senator for Discussing Early COVID Treatment; WATCH: Tucker Carlson Slams ‘Sinister’ YouTube for Censoring Interview With Doctor

By The Federalist. Google’s YouTube has stepped up its draconian censorship of a sitting U.S. senator.

The powerful video-sharing company removed a video of a speech given by Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and banned him from uploading new videos for at least seven days. The action took place several months after YouTube removed two videos of testimony given at a hearing he hosted of the Senate’s Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on the topic of early treatment of COVID-19.

In the video YouTube censors are prohibiting the public from viewing, Johnson took bureaucrats in the Trump and Biden administrations to task for “not only ignoring but working against robust research [on] the use of cheap, generic drugs to be repurposed for early treatment of COVID.” . . .

Johnson noted that he held two hearings on early treatment for COVID-19. He said one of the people testifying at one of the hearings talked about “the four pillars of pandemic response,” those being prevention of the spread of the virus, early treatment, treatment in the hospital, and vaccines.

“It always baffled me that there was such a concerted effort to deny the American public the type of robust exploration research into early treatment early in this pandemic,” Johnson said, explaining why he wanted to bring more focus to that topic. By Daily Mail. Tucker Carlson on Friday night attacked ‘sinister’ tech companies for taking down his interview with a respected doctor who said that vaccinating young people was risky and ‘a colossal error in public health judgment’.

Dr Hooman Noorchashm, a retired cardiac surgeon with a PhD in immunology, who taught at Harvard Medical School, appeared on Carlson’s Fox News show on Thursday night after the CDC announced plans for a meeting over rare but worrying rises in cases of heart inflammation among young people given the vaccine.

‘After our conversation last night, he upload the data exchange onto YouTube,’ Carlson explained on Friday. . .

Noorchashm said that he did not approve of the vaccine being given to young people, because of their low risk of dying from COVID, and the fact that many already had antibodies from being infected, and recovering.

Arizona AG Defends Maricopa Audit Against ‘Hysterical’ Criticism

Arizona’s attorney general today warned the Biden Justice Department to back off its criticism of the state Senate’s audit of the Maricopa County 2020 vote, charging that it was giving into “hysterical” liberal Trump haters.

“My office is not amused by the DOJ’s posturing and will not tolerate any effort to undermine or interfere with our State Senate’s audit to reassure Arizonans of the accuracy of our elections,” wrote Attorney General Mark Brnovich to Attorney General Merrick Garland.

“We stand ready to defend federalism and state sovereignty against any partisan attacks or federal overreach,” he added.

Garland last week mocked election audits like those in Maricopa County. “Many of the justifications proffered in support of these post-election audits and restrictions on voting have relied on assertions of material vote fraud in the 2020 election that have been refuted by law enforcement and intelligence agencies,” he said. Biden Border Crisis Worsens: Feds Build More Migrant Detention Facilities

Construction is set to begin on temporary detention facilities at the Border Patrol’s Interstate 35 checkpoint and other locations in Laredo, Texas. The shelters are military-style general-purpose tents and can house 60 people per tent. Plans for the climate-controlled structures, designed only for short-term detention, do not include funding for contract personnel to staff the facilities.

According to a law enforcement source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Laredo Sector is accepting hundreds of migrant transfers from the Del Rio Sector. The source says nearly 100 migrants are transferred from Del Rio to Laredo, Texas daily.

Del Rio, Texas experienced a surge in the crossing of Haitian and Venezuelan nationals and currently leads the Border Patrol in the apprehension rates for those two demographics. According to the source, Del Rio is continuing to see large numbers of migrants from those two countries entering in numbers exceeding 100 daily.

The source also suspects the move is timed to coincide with a potential for the discontinuation of the Centers for Disease Controls (CDC) Emergency COVID-19 declaration (Title 42) that allows for the speedy expulsion of single adults and certain family units to Mexico within hours of their apprehension. Migrants who illegally enter the country from Mexico and the northern triangle Central American countries of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador are subject to immediate expulsion under CDC’s Title 42 Authority.
