Daunte Wright Had Multiple Criminal Charges on Record When He Was Pulled Over, Court Documents Show

. . .[Daunte] Wright, the 20-year-old black man who was shot by in an apparent accidental discharge, had previously been charged with first-degree aggravated robbery, fleeing from police, and possession of a handgun without a permit. Wright also had a warrant for his arrest out at the time of his fatal shooting after failing to appear in court for the fleeing and weapons charges.

The aggravated robbery charge stemmed from a 2019 incident in which Wright and an acquaintance attended a party at an apartment and were told to leave around 2:30 a.m. by two women who rented the apartment, according to court documents. But the two men said they did not have a ride, prompting the women to allow them to stay the night.

The next morning, one of the women left the apartment to get $820 in cash to pay the other for her share of the rent before leaving for work. The other woman stayed behind while Wright and his acquaintance waited for their ride. Then, the woman alleged that Wright blocked the door and pulled out a handgun “with silver trim out from either his right waistband or his right coat pocket” and demanded that the woman hand over the $820 while pointing the gun at her.

When the woman asked Wright if he was “serious,” Wright responded by saying, “Give me the f—ing money. I know you have it. … I’m not playing around.”

Wright then choked the woman while attempting to pull the money out of her bra, but she was able to free herself and “started to kneel down and scream” for the men to get out of her apartment, telling them the police were close by. But Wright threatened to shoot her if she didn’t turn over the money, saying, “Give me the money, and we will leave. Mexican-American Grandmother Brutally Beaten by ‘Black’ Attacker Who Thought She Was Asian (VIDEO)

An elderly Mexican-American woman in California was reportedly savagely beaten by an attacker who thought the woman was Asian and hurled an anti-Chinese racial slur at her, according to reports.

A 70-year-old woman was riding on a bus to go grocery shopping in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles last Friday afternoon, the victim’s son told the Eastsider. The elderly woman was getting off the bus to go to the Vons supermarket when another passenger screamed an anti-Chinese racial epithet at the Mexican-American woman. The suspect brutally beat the Mexican-American woman, whom she allegedly believed to be Asian.

“The victim’s son reportedly says that a female passenger, described as ‘black,’ called his mother an anti-Asian slur and then attacked her,” KTLA reported.

The attacker reportedly pulled out some of the victim’s hair as she dragged her from the back of the bus to the front. The son said his mother suffered a concussion and a broken nose from the assault. Her leg was badly injured, and she now has difficulty walking, according to her son. She was allegedly held overnight in a hospital. Photos show the unnamed woman’s face severely bruised and swollen.

Not a Joke: Kamala Blames Border Crisis on ‘Climate Change’

Chosen by President Biden to oversee immigration policy, Vice President Kamala Harris has been assessing the situation at the border.

The “root cause” of the migrant surge, which even some Democrats have admitted is a “crisis,” is not the administration’s policies, she contends. It’s “climate change.”

Harris hasn’t been to the border since becoming vice president, but she is planning a trip to Mexico and the Northern Triangle countries, where she says there’s a “need for resilience around extreme climate” due to “severe climate experiences.” . . .

The New York Post editorial board was skeptical of her assessment, noting she made no mention of “the corrupt governments that prevent economic progress — and are sure to pocket the bulk of any foreign aid meant to develop those economies or make their farms more ‘resilient.'”

Top Georgia Official Warns Biden: Quit Lying About Election Law

A top election official in Georgia, where the 2020 results triggered allegations of fraud, is pleading with President Biden to quit lying about the state’s new election law.

And he warned that if Biden doesn’t, “Someone is going to get hurt.”

The comments come from Gabriel Sterling, the chief operating officer for the Georgia secretary of state, in a commentary for the Washington Post. . .

He continued: “So I plead with the president once again: Someone is going to get hurt. Your words matter. The facts matter. In the weeks and months after Nov. 3, my boss and I, along with local election workers, received death threats because we would not bend to pressure from one president to alter the outcome of the election. It is disappointing to see the new president engage in similarly dangerous hyperbole.”

“The president has also repeated the lie that ‘this is Jim Crow in the 21st century.’ Democrats have clearly realized this is a potential fundraising tactic regardless of the impact on voter confidence. It is no small wonder how a law, which election experts agree expands voting access to all Georgians, could be compared to the vast historical effort to disenfranchise and oppress Black Americans,” said Sterling. WATCH: Man Chucks Bobcat That Attacked His Wife in Viral Video

A man in a suburban neighborhood sprung into action, grabbed an aggressive bobcat, and threw it across his lawn after the animal attacked his wife.

The footage, which appeared to be captured on a home security camera, showed the man saying “good morning” to a neighbor and remarking that he needed to wash his car before a shriek and a growl can be heard. Within seconds, a bobcat attacks the man’s wife, who is carrying a pet cage, as she yells for her husband, “Rodney! Rodney!”

More shouting can be heard before the man hoists the wild animal above his head and says, “Oh my god. It’s a bobcat!” at a passerby. He then chucks the angry cat across his lawn, but the animal recovers and runs straight toward Rodney’s wife as he yells, “Lindsey!” to alert her of another assault.

San Francisco Medical Examiner: Drugs Killed MORE THAN TWICE as Many Americans as Coronavirus

More than twice as many Americans in San Francisco, California, died from drug overdoses in 2020 as did from the Chinese coronavirus, San Francisco’s Chief Medical Examiner reveals.

In preliminary data published by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for San Francisco, more than twice as many Americans were found to have died from drug overdoses as they did from coronavirus despite a massive emphasis on pandemic deaths from January to December 2020.

“More than twice as many people died from drug overdoses as from Covid-19 in San Francisco last year,” the Wall Street Journal reported. In 2020, a record 708 San Francisco residents died from drug overdoses while 254 residents died from coronavirus.

Already this year, in January and February, 137 San Francisco residents have died from drug overdoses, the Chief Medical Examiner report shows. The numbers indicate the city is on a track to reach 800 drug overdose deaths by the end of 2021, according to the Journal. Gunman Kills At Least 8, Injures Others at FedEx Facility

A gunman killed eight people and wounded several others before killing himself in a late-night shooting at a FedEx facility near the Indianapolis airport, police said.

Five people were hospitalized, including one in critical condition, after the Thursday night shooting, said Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department spokeswoman Officer Genae Cook during a news briefing early Friday. Another two people were treated and released at the scene. FedEx said people who worked for the company were among the dead.

Authorities have not identified the gunman and investigators were still in the process of conducting interviews and gathering information. Cook said it was too early to tell whether the shooter was an employee at the facility.

Indianapolis Deputy Police Chief Craig McCartt said the gunman started randomly shooting at people in the parking lot before entering the facility, and then went into the building, where he shot himself shortly before police entered. Democrats Launch ‘Raw Muscle Play’ To Take Over Supreme Court; GOP: Democrats Packing the Supreme Court Should ‘Scare Every Single American’ (VIDEO)

By WND. Democrats in Washington have launched a “raw muscle play” to take over the U.S. Supreme Court to assure their party of ongoing – and leftist – decision victories.

The plan from Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., who orchestrated much of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s two failed impeach-and-remove campaigns against President Trump, and others was reported by the Intercept, and apparently would add four justices to the nine already on the bench.

Other promoters, so far, include Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass.; Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga.; and Rep. Mondaire Jones, D-N.Y.

Fox News reported even the usually liberal George Washington University law professor and constitutional expert Jonathan Turley was appalled.

“The House and Senate Democrats are moving forward with a bill to add 4 new justices to the Supreme Court. There is nothing subtle or elegant in the move. Democrats Packing the Supreme Court Should ‘Scare Every Single American’: McCarthy

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, during a wide-ranging interview on FOX Business’ “Mornings with Maria” Thursday, argued that the Democrats’ proposal to add four seats to the Supreme Court “should scare every single American, regardless of where you stand politically,” and criticized the Biden administration’s lack of border security.

REP. KEVIN MCCARTHY: This should scare every single American, regardless of where you stand politically. The Democrats inside Congress today would rather dismantle this nation than dignify the Constitution. This just goes to show how far the Democratic Party has moved. There almost are no longer common sense or moderate Democrats elected.

Even Joe Biden in the past was opposed to this. Those Democrats on the Supreme Court were opposed to this because what this simply does is, it’s about control. It’s overtaking a branch of government simply to have your control over a nation. It must be the scariest thing I’ve ever heard them do. I never thought they would go this far. But now they’re not only proposing it, they’re moving it in legislation form.

Biden Declares National Emergency At Ukraine-Russia Border

The Biden administration declared a national emergency on Thursday, slapping sanctions on more than three dozen people in Russia and expelling 10 diplomats, in an about-face after the US reversed course of two warships heading to the Black Sea.

President Biden signed an executive order detailing Russia’s actions in the SolarWinds cyber-intrusion and its interference in the election, accusing the Kremlin of working to “undermine the conduct of free and fair democratic elections and democratic institutions in the United States and its allies and partners,” according to a statement from the White House.

Russia also engaged in “malicious cyber-enabled activities against the United States and its allies and partners,” the statement said.

New California Bill Would Allow Targets Of Recall Petitions To See Who Signed Them

Earlier this week, a bill that would allow California politicians facing recall petitions to see the signers cleared its first committee.

According to KTLA, the bill would take effect next year if passed, so it would not apply to the current recall election of Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom, but leaders of the Newsom recall came to the Capitol in Sacramento to oppose the bill, for the simple reason that it would be easily abused and discourage anyone from signing petitions in the future due to fear of retaliation.
