Hasbro, the makers of Mr. Potato Head, has announced that the longtime toy has been made over — and now has no fixed gender.

According to a Thursday report from the Associated Press, Hasbro has renamed Mr. Potato Head to honor his gender neutrality and will call him simply “Potato Head.”

To obtain or keep teaching licenses, Illinois now requires all K-12 teachers to indoctrinate their students in critical race theory, destructive lies about sex and gender, and other leftist mind poison. The rules clearly communicate that in Illinois public schools are no longer places to learn, but places children will be lied to, manipulated, and warehoused as wards of a corrupt and malevolent state. And this kind of schooling is spreading nationwide.

Every decent parent, family, and church should refuse to allow this kind of instruction to be inflicted upon the children in their care, and assume personal responsibility for securing their genuine education outside such anti-public schools. Republican Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse hammered President Joe Biden’s nominee Xavier Beccara Wednesday for “bullying” the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Sasse tore into the HHS nominee over his longstanding legal battles with the Little Sisters of the Poor during Wednesday’s confirmation hearing. The Nebraska Republican reminded Becerra that he said earlier Wednesday that he never sued the nuns.

Sasse called this “a pretty interesting way of reframing your bullying.”

“You had actually sued the government, who had given an exemption to the nuns,” Sasse said. “Can you explain to us what the Little Sisters of the Poor were doing wrong?” . . .

Declassified Docs Show FBI Spying on Trump Camp Far Wider Than Thought

The scope of the FBI’s spying on the 2016 Trump campaign was much wider than previously thought, according to newly declassified memos obtained by Just the News.

The aim of the Obama administration’s Trump-Russia collusion probe was to find “anyone” in the Republican campaign tied to Russia who was trying to get dirt “damaging” to Clinton, the documents show.

Immediately after opening the probe in July 2016 with a focus on campaign aide George Papadopoulos, FBI agents pressed their source Stephan Halper for information on other Trump campaign figures. They included future Attorney General Jeff Sessions, foreign policy adviser Sam Clovis, campaign chairman Paul Manafort, economic adviser Peter Navarro, future National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and campaign adviser Carter Page.

An early FBI electronic communication from Halper’s undercover work stated: “The Crossfire Hurricane investigative team is attempting to determine if anyone in the Trump campaign is in a position to have received information either directly or indirectly from the Russian Federation regarding the anonymous release of information during the campaign that would be damaging to Hillary Clinton.”

Senator to Transgender HHS Pick: Do You Support Amputating Kids’ Private Parts?

At a confirmation hearing Thursday, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., confronted President Biden’s nominee for assistant secretary of Health and Human Services on the government’s support for “sex-change” treatment and surgery.

The exchange was particularly significant because the nominee is Dr. Rachel Levine, who would become the first transgender U.S. official if confirmed. . .

“Dr. Levine, do you believe that minors are capable of making such a life-changing decision as changing one’s sex?” Paul asked. . .

Paul pressed further, asking, “Do you support the government intervening to override a parent’s consent to give a child puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and/or amputation surgery of breasts or genitalia?”

Former USA Gymnastics Coach Kills Himself After Being Charged with Human Trafficking, Sexual Assault

Former USA Gymnastics coach John Geddert committed suicide after he was charged on Thursday with 24 counts of criminal misconduct, including human trafficking and sexual assault, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced.

State officials confirmed the news to WLNS CBS that the coach died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was 63 years old.

Geddert coached the 2012 U.S. women’s gold-winning Olympic team and worked closely with Larry Nassar, the disgraced physician convicted of multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct and child pornography that owned and operated Twistars USA Gymnastics gym near Lansing, Michigan, where Nassar also treated several gymnasts.

Geddert was charged with 14 counts of human trafficking and forced labor causing injury; six counts of human trafficking of a minor for forced labor; one count of continuing criminal enterprise; one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct; and one count of lying to a police officer during a violent crime investigation. Report: FBI Investigating Members of Congress as Riot ‘Suspects’!

By WND. Hundreds of people have been investigated for their roles in the riot at the U.S. Capitol in January, and many have been arrested and face charges ranging from trespassing on up.

Now, some members of Congress also are being investigated by the FBI as suspectets, the Intercept reported.

Within hours of the riot, the FBI began obtaining thousands of phone and electronic records involving people at the scene, including members of Congress, the publication said.

“Using special emergency powers and other measures, the FBI has collected reams of private cellphone data and communications that go beyond the videos that rioters shared widely on social media,” the Intercept said, citing two sources.

House Committee Holds Domestic Terror Hearing in Wake of Capitol Riot

By New York Post. The House Judiciary Committee will convene a hearing Wednesday afternoon on the rise of domestic terrorism in America, with last month’s deadly US Capitol riot likely to dominate the discussion.

Coming one day after a Senate panel on the insurrection, Wednesday’s hearing by the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security will kick off at 2 p.m. and include testimony from experts on domestic terrorism.

Scheduled witnesses include: Wade Henderson, interim president and CEO of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights; Michael German, of the Brennan Center for Justice; Malcolm Nance, founder and executive director of the Terror Asymmetrics Project; and conservative journalist Andy Ngo, editor-at-large of The Post Millennial.

In Report Affirming Nearly No Transmission in Schools, CDC Slips in Shocking Data About Asymptomatic Spread

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control slipped in a shocking piece of evidence in a recent report on low in-school COVID-19 transmission that severely undercuts the rationale for most COVID restrictions, including lockdowns.

The Jan. 29 report’s conclusion seems to fit the pro-mask narrative, of course: “Schools might be able to safely open with appropriate mitigation efforts [such as masking and not allowing student cohorts to mix] in place.” In the 17 rural Wisconsin schools surveyed, only seven cases were linked to in-school transmission out of 4,876 pupils, and no staff members were infected at school during the study period.

While the report spends ample time explaining the mitigation strategies employed in the schools and the high reported mask compliance (92%) among students, the authors later discuss something you probably have not seen in any of the mainstream media’s coverage of this report:

“Children might be more likely to be asymptomatic carriers of COVID-19 than are adults…This apparent lack of transmission [in schools] is consistent with recent research (5), which found an asymptomatic attack rate of only 0.7% within households and a lower rate of transmission from children than from adults. However, this study was unable to rule out asymptomatic transmission within the school setting because surveillance testing was not conducted” (emphasis added). . .

The text of the analysis is even more consequential than the CDC’s reference makes it seem: “Estimated mean household secondary attack rate from symptomatic index cases (18.0%; 95% CI, 14.2%-22.1%) was significantly higher than from asymptomatic or presymptomatic index cases (0.7%; 95% CI, 0%-4.9%; P < .001), although there were few studies in the latter group. These findings are consistent with other household studies28,70 reporting asymptomatic index cases as having limited role in household transmission” (emphasis added). Poll: Nearly 16% of Generation Z Identify as LGBT

The overall percentage of Americans who identify as LGBT is on the rise, but the shift seems to be driven by younger generations — particularly Generation Z, which sees one in six identifying as LGBT, a Gallup survey released Wednesday found.

While the vast majority of Americans identify as heterosexual, 86.7 percent, the Gallup survey found that 5.6 percent of U.S. adults identify as LGBT. That is up from 4.5 percent in 2017 and 3.5 percent in 2012. 7.6 percent did not answer the question, compared to the “roughly 5 percent” who expressed no opinion in previous surveys. . .

The shift upwards appears to be largely driven by Generation Z, or those born 1997-2002.

According to the survey, 15.9 percent of Generation Z identifies as LGBT, followed by 9.1 percent of millennials (those born 1981-1996), 3.8 percent of Generation X (born 1965-1980), two percent of baby boomers (born 1946-1964), and 1.3 percent of traditionalists (born before 1946).
