WHO Says China Blocking It From Investigation Into Coronavirus Origin

A top World Health Organization official said Thursday that China is blocking the WHO from participating in China’s investigation into the origin of coronavirus.

Dr. Gauden Galea, the WHO’s representative to China, told Sky News that the WHO has made repeated requests to join the investigation to no avail.

“We know that some national investigation is happening but at this stage we have not been invited to join,” Galea said. “We are expecting to get in the near future a briefing on where that is and to discuss possible collaboration.”

He added: “WHO is making requests of the health commission and of the authorities. The origins of [the] virus are very important, the animal-human interface is extremely important and needs to be studied.”

When asked whether China had a good reason for excluding the WHO, Galea answered: “From our point of view, no.” (Read more from “WHO Says China Blocking It From Investigation Into Coronavirus Origin” HERE)

WATCH: Protesters Storm California Beach Town Over Stay-At-Home Orders

A large crowd of people showed up at a protest in Huntington Beach, California, on Friday to complain against Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom and to demand the state’s stay-at-home rules be lifted.

The crowd of more than 500 gathered at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street in downtown Huntington Beach, with people carrying signs saying “All jobs are essential,” “Freedom: We the people,” and “Recall Gavin Newsom,’” according to the Los Angeles Times.

Few people in the crowd were wearing face coverings, and almost no one followed the social distancing guidelines implemented by the government. Police officers on horseback oversaw the protest while other officers did their best to keep traffic moving along the coastal highway. . .

Newsom ordered beaches to close following large crowds congregating along the coast the previous weekend, most notably in neighboring Newport Beach, California.

“We can’t see images like we saw, particularly on Saturday, in Newport Beach and elsewhere,” Newsom said, adding that so many people on the beach was “disturbing.”

‘Don’t Defend Trump’ Memo Uncovered, Written by Top Republican Strategist

By Western Journalism. The National Republican Senatorial Committee has sent out a 57-page memo advising GOP candidates how to address the coronavirus crisis during the 2020 campaign, Politico reported Friday.

The linchpin of the ludicrous strategy put forth in the document is to avoid mentioning President Donald Trump’s role during the national emergency. . .

In essence, the document advises Republican Senate candidates to distance themselves from Trump.

“Don’t defend Trump, other than the China Travel Ban — attack China,” the April 17 memo says. (Read more from “‘Don’t Defend Trump’ Memo Uncovered, Written by Top Republican Strategist” HERE)

GOP Memo Urges ‘Anti-China’ Assault Over Coronavirus

By Politico. The National Republican Senatorial Committee has sent campaigns a detailed, 57-page memo authored by a top Republican strategist advising GOP candidates to address the coronavirus crisis by aggressively attacking China. . .

The document urges candidates to stay relentlessly on message against the country when responding to any questions about the virus. When asked whether the spread of the coronavirus is Trump’s fault, candidates are advised to respond by pivoting to China. . .

The NRSC memo shows that Republicans are also eager to make China an issue in down-ballot races. It was distributed by the Senate GOP campaign arm, though it was not explicitly drafted by or for the committee. It was authored by the political consulting firm of Brett O’Donnell, a veteran Republican strategist who has advised Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton. . .

The memo includes guidance on what Republican candidates can say when asked whether blaming China for the pandemic incites racism. Candidates are urged to respond by saying that, “No one is blaming Chinese Americans. This is the fault of the Chinese Communist Party for covering up the virus and lying about its danger. This caused the pandemic and they should be held accountable.” (Read more from “Gop Memo Urges ‘Anti-China’ Assault Over Coronavirus” HERE)

Additional 11-Pages of FBI Documents Unsealed – Biggest Surprise: President Obama Implicated; Bombshell Flynn Files Helping Durham Build ‘Serious Case’

By The Conservative Treehouse. This afternoon Judge Emmet Sullivan unsealed an additional 11-pages of documents showing more background information about how the FBI was targeting former National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn. [Court PDF HERE] . . .

The release today is even more revealing than the handwritten notes released last night; and specifically President Obama’s “by the book” statement on January 5, 2017, takes on an entirely new light. They may not realize it yet, but this release implicates Obama.

Within the release we discover an “Electronic Communication” or “EC” from the Washington FBI field office recommending to close the FBI investigation of General Flynn on January 4, 2017, due to “no derogatory information.” However, FBI Agent Peter Strzok immediately responds to the FBI team [main headquarters] saying: “don’t do it yet’… and the plot unfolds. . .

The very next day, January 5th, James Comey goes to the White House for a meeting with President Obama and Vice-President Biden.

January 5th is the White House meeting where National Security Advisor Susan Rice, FBI Director James Comey (Crossfire Hurricane), and Deputy AG Sally Yates (Flynn FARA) are talking to President Obama about the status of the Flynn FBI investigation and President Obama says “by the book”. Bombshell Flynn Files Helping Durham Build ‘Serious Case’

By WND. The files unsealed this week in the Michael Flynn case showing FBI officials discussed trying to get the former national security adviser to lie are bolstering the “serious case” the Justice Department is building against FBI and DOJ officials who carried out a counter-intelligence “Russia collusion” probe of the Trump campaign in 2016.

Sources who spoke to Fox News said charges could be justified against officials, and Attorney General Bill Barr is speaking regularly with U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is leading the investigation.

“Durham has seen all of this already,” a source told Fox News, adding the Flynn evidence “could be sufficient for some charges against agents.”

“It’s a crime to present under oath false or misleading information,” the source told Fox News. “Not to mention obstruction of justice.”

“They’re building a very serious case,” another source told Fox News.” (Read more from “Bombshell Flynn Files Helping Durham Build ‘Serious Case'” HERE)

Scientists Discover Fossil of Massive Rodent-Like Animal Called ‘Crazy Beast’, Creates Even More Confusion for Evolutionists

. . .The remains are the first near-complete fossil of the badger-esque creature named “Adalatherium hui,” or “crazy beast,” that roamed the southern supercontinent of Gondwana 66 million years ago, according to a new study published Wednesday in Nature journal.

Even with the findings, scientists still can’t parse crazy beast’s anatomy and aren’t even sure how the animal walked. The creature is also oddly large for a mammal of its time — about 100 times bigger than the mostly rodent-sized mammals of the Mesozoic era. . .

There are some clues to its behavior. Adalatherium was a plant-eater, with rodent-like teeth to gnaw on roots and other vegetation. It was probably a skilled digger that could have excavated burrows thanks to its powerful hind legs and long claws on its back feet.

But the creature’s gait has baffled researchers. Its smaller front legs were placed beneath its body like other mammals, but its back legs fan out more akin to a reptile, meaning it likely sauntered like a lizard with its spine swaying side to side. Department of Education Investigating University Over Links to Wuhan Lab

The United States Department of Education is investigating the University of Texas over links to the Chinese lab in Wuhan potentially involved in the origin of the Chinese virus, along with the university’s ties to companies including Huawei and Zoom, the popular video conferencing app criticized for its poor security.

The U.S. Department of Education has requested for the University of Texas System to provide documents involving records or gifts from the Wuhan Institute of Virology and its researcher Shi Zhengli, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.

The report added that the Education Department’s probe into the university is part of a broader investigation into potential improper financial disclosures of foreign money by the University of Texas System.

The Education Department is also asking the university system to provide documents regarding possible ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), as well as about two dozen Chinese universities and businesses — including Huawei Technologies Co. — according to a letter obtained by the Wall Street Journal.

The government is also asking for documents involving the university system’s alleged contracts or gifts from Eric Yuan, the chief executive officer of Zoom Video Communications. (Read more from “Department of Education Investigating University Over Links to Wuhan Lab” HERE)

Canada Bans Assault Weapons

Canada is banning military-style assault weapons after the country’s deadliest mass-shooting in history, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Friday.

“These weapons were designed for one purpose and one purpose only: to kill the largest number of people in the shortest amount of time. There is no use and no place for such weapons in Canada,” Trudeau said in a briefing where he announced the decision.

The ban is effective immediately and includes 1,500 models of military-style assault weapons. . .

Trudeau spoke about the issue on Thursday, but only said a decision would be made in the coming days.
