Memory Loss? Joe Biden Doesn’t Know U.S. Population, Can’t Remember Who He Rallied With This Year

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden appeared to have no clue as to what the U.S. population was during a talk on Tuesday and later forgot who he rallied with earlier this year.

Biden, while speaking at the Workers’ Presidential Summit in Philadelphia, said that his proposed $8,000 child tax credit would “put 720 million women back in the workforce.”

“You get a tax break for a race horse. Why in God’s name couldn’t we provide an $8,000 tax credit for everybody who has childcare costs?” Biden said. “It would put 720 million women back in the workforce. It would increase the GDP—to sound like a wonk here—by about eight-tenths of one percent. It would grow the economy.”

The current U.S. population is approximately 330 million people so it’s unclear where Biden got the notion that there are hundreds of millions more people living in the United States. . .

Biden has drifted further and further to the far-left during the Democratic primary race, criticizing Republicans’ desire to allow churchgoers to arm themselves so they are not the victims of mass shootings to supporting socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) $93 trillion “Green New Deal.” (Read more from “Memory Loss? Joe Biden Doesn’t Know U.S. Population, Can’t Remember Who He Rallied With This Year” HERE)

Trump: U.S. ‘Locked and Loaded’ After ‘Iranian’ Attack on Saudi Oil Sites

By Daily Wire. President Donald Trump suggested on Sunday that the U.S. military could be used to respond to the terrorist attacks on oil sites in Saudi Arabia, for which U.S. officials say Iran was responsible.

“Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked,” Trump tweeted. “There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!” . . .

The Saturday attacks knocked out over 5% of global oil supply and it could take Saudi Arabia months to recover from the attack, which a senior U.S. official told Reuters potentially involved cruise missiles.

“The U.S. official, who asked not to be named, said there were 19 points of impact in the attack on Saudi facilities and that evidence showed the launch area was west-northwest of the targets — the direction of Iran — not south from Yemen,” Reuters added. “The official added that Saudi officials had indicated they had seen signs that cruise missiles were used in the attack, which is inconsistent with the Iran-aligned Houthi group’s claim that it conducted the attack with 10 drones.”

Trump Approves Use of Emergency Oil Reserves and Says U.S. Is ‘Locked and Loaded’ After Attack on Saudi Facilities

By Washington Examiner. President Trump authorized the use of emergency oil reserves after a series of drone attacks on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities disrupted the country’s crude oil output and indicated that the U.S. is “locked and loaded depending on verification” of the “culprit.”

“Based on the attack on Saudi Arabia, which may have an impact on oil prices, I have authorized the release of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, if needed, in a to-be-determined amount sufficient to keep the markets well-supplied,” Trump tweeted on Sunday.

“I have also informed all appropriate agencies to expedite approvals of the oil pipelines currently in the permitting process in Texas and various other States,” he continued. Federal Judge: All Pedophile Co-Conspirators Remain Protected by Epstein’s Corrupt Deal; Victims Denied Cash Damages

By Business Insider. A federal judge dealt Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers a massive disappointment in a new court ruling that shut down more than 10 years of legal battles over investigations into the late financier’s potential co-conspirators.

Judge Kenneth A. Marra wrote in a decision, filed Monday, that he was denying the request of two of Epstein’s alleged victims to rescind a non-prosecution agreement that shortened Epstein’s 2007 jail sentence and promised immunity for “any potential co-conspirators.”

In August, lawyers representing some of Epstein’s victims filed a brief arguing that a clause in a non-prosecution agreement struck between the US attorney’s office, Epstein, and his co-conspirators in 2007 should be rescinded.

The deal was previously detailed in a November 2018 Miami Herald report that said local and federal investigators looking into Epstein’s suspected trafficking of minor girls had enough evidence to put him away for life in 2007.

However, after then-US Attorney of the Southern District of Florida, Alexander Acosta, met with one of Epstein’s lawyers, Jay Lefkowitz, the two former colleagues reportedly agreed on a deal that stipulated Epstein serve just 13 months from a private cell block at a county jail, instead of federal prison. The financier also pleaded guilty to just two prostitution charges. (Read more from “Federal Judge: All Pedophile Co-Conspirators Remain Protected by Epstein’s Corrupt Deal” HERE)

Judge Refuses to Scrap Plea Deal That Protected Jeffrey Epstein’s Co-Conspirators

By The Daily Beast. . .On Monday, Marra denied Jane Does’ request to rescind the plea deal’s immunity provisions from Epstein’s alleged accomplices. He stated that the co-conspirators were not involved in active litigation and were non-parties to the case against the government. “The question of the validity of the non-prosecution provisions of the NPA as they relate to the alleged co-conspirators will have to be litigated with their participation if any prosecution against them is ever brought,” he wrote. “Any decision by this Court on that question is meaningless without their participation in this proceeding.”

The judge also denied the victims’ request for FBI files related to the 2008 investigation into Epstein and his alleged co-conspirators, stating that, “it is also a matter of public knowledge that there is an ongoing investigation by the Department of Justice relative those individuals. The FBI’s documents, to the extent they were not otherwise protected by attorney/client or work product privileges, in all likelihood, are relevant to that ongoing investigation.”

Additionally, Marra denied the request for a hearing for the victims with Acosta present, stating the former U.S. Attorney is now a “private citizen.” He also rejected awarding attorneys’ fees to the victims or forcing the government to pay for damages associated with their decade-long fight. Despite the mounting legal bill, Marra said that Florida prosecutors did not act in bad faith during the deal and therefore should not have to monetarily compensate Jane Does 1 and 2.

Marra concluded his opinion Monday by hoping the women “may take solace, however, in the fact that this litigation has brought national attention to the Crime Victims’ Rights Act and the importance of victims in the criminal justice system.” (Read more from “Judge Refuses to Scrap Plea Deal That Protected Jeffrey Epstein’s Co-Conspirators” HERE)

Jeffrey Epstein’s Victims Will Not Get Cash Damages From Federal Government Over Controversial Non-Prosecution Deal, Judge Says

By CNBC. A federal judge in Florida ruled Monday that victims of late accused child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein will not get monetary damages from the U.S. government, despite a failure by federal prosecutors to inform them years ago about a controversial non-prosecution deal with the wealthy financier.

Judge Kenneth Marra also ruled against the victims’ request that their lawyer fees be paid for by the government. . .

Marra had ruled last February that federal prosecutors in Florida had violated the Crime Victims’ Rights Act by not telling them they were agreeing in 2007 not to bring serious sex crime charges against Epstein, in exchange for his guilty plea to relatively minor state charges the following year. NYT Admits to Leaving out Damning Detail About Kavanaugh Accuser

The New York Times published a correction late Sunday night after leaving out exculpatory evidence in a story about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s time as an undergraduate student at Yale University.

Times reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly wrote an article in Sunday’s paper drawing from their forthcoming book, “The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation.”

“A classmate, Max Stier, saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student. Mr. Stier, who runs a nonprofit organization in Washington, notified senators and the F.B.I. about this account, but the F.B.I. did not investigate and Mr. Stier has declined to discuss it publicly,” Pogrebin and Kelly wrote in the story’s original version, adding that they “corroborated the story with two officials who have communicated with Mr. Stier.”

The article left out a crucial fact that was included in the book: The alleged victim reportedly has no recollection of the incident in question. The woman “refused to discuss the incident” with the authors, and “several of her friends said she does not recall it,” Pogrebin and Kelly wrote in the book. . .

“An earlier version of this article, which was adapted from a forthcoming book, did not include one element of the book’s account regarding an assertion by a Yale classmate that friends of Brett Kavanaugh pushed his penis into the hand of a female student at a drunken dorm party. The book reports that the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say that she does not recall the incident. That information has been added to the article,” reads an editor’s note tacked onto the bottom of the story. (Read more from “NYT Admits to Leaving out Damning Detail About Kavanaugh Accuser” HERE)

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin’s Mysterious Link to Creepy Epstein Model Scout

In the late 1980s—before he was a member of Donald Trump’s Cabinet, or even a high-rolling hedge-fund manager—Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin served in an official capacity for a business run by one of Jeffrey Epstein’s most infamous associates.

In official records, Mnuchin is listed as the official state point of contact for Next Management Corporation, a company formed in 1988 by modeling-industry insiders Jean-Luc Brunel and Arnaud Brunel. At the time, Jean-Luc Brunel had just been the subject of a 60 Minutes documentary accusing him of drugging and raping at least three models. Later, he would be accused by two women of supplying girls to Epstein to be sexually abused. (Brunel has denied the allegations.)

Records accessed by The Daily Beast list Mnuchin as the New York Department of State process for Next Management Corporation. According to department officials, the DOS process is the person who files a company’s registration papers and receives lawsuits and other official documents on their behalf—usually a lawyer or some other legal representative.

A Treasury Department official said Mnuchin did not know he was listed as the DOS process for Next Management Corp. before The Daily Beast’s inquiry. He said it was “not clear” how Mnuchin wound up serving in that role and added that the secretary did not recall ever meeting either Brunel brother and had never done business with either of them.

Mnuchin’s office did confirm that he was longtime friends with Faith Kates, the owner of the Next modeling agency. The Brunel brothers co-founded the Next agency with Kates in 1989, and their company, Next Management Corp., owned a 25 percent stake in the agency for several years. The address listed under Mnuchin’s name in the state department records is the first address for Kates’ company, Next Management Company. State Passes Bill Forcing Universities to Provide Abortion Pills

On Friday, the California legislature passed a bill that would force every public university in the state to offer abortion pills to students.

The bill, SB-24, states:

Because abortion by medication techniques is both a recognized treatment for the medical condition of pregnancy and a health service every pregnant person in the state has the legal right to choose, it is the intent of the Legislature that public university student health centers make abortion by medication techniques as accessible and cost effective for students as possible … On and after January 1, 2023, each public university student health center shall offer abortion by medication techniques onsite. This service may be performed by providers on staff at the student health center, through telehealth services, or by providers associated with a contracted external agency.

The bill now awaits the signature of Governor Gavin Newsom, who supported a previous draft of the bill. He stated in the fall of 2018, “I would have supported that. I have long supported that. I subscribe to Planned Parenthood and NARAL’s position on that,” as the San Francisco Chronicle reported. . .

The bill claims that more than 400,000 female students attend University of California (UC) schools. The bill’s author, state senator Connie Leyva, stated, “In a time when states across our country are rolling back women’s health care and access to abortion, California continues to lead the nation to protect every individual’s right to choose … SB 24 reaffirms the right of every college student to access abortion,” according to The Daily Mail. She added, “By ensuring that abortion care is available on campus, college students will not have to choose between delaying important medical care or having to travel long distances or miss classes or work.” (Read more from “State Passes Bill Forcing Universities to Provide Abortion Pills” HERE)

Recent Poll: Trump Approval Climbs, Tracks Better Than Obama

While President Donald Trump has continued to struggle in many national approval polls, according to the daily tracking poll produced by Rasmussen — one of the most reliable U.S. pollsters — after taking a dip in the polls, Trump’s back up to nearly his highest mark in the last two years — and tracking better than President Barack Obama at the same point in his presidency. Obama would go on to easily win re-election against Republican Mitt Romney, while early head-to-head polls indicate that Trump is going to have a steeper hill to climb.

“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance,” Rasmussen reports. “Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove.”

While Trump is +1 on overall approval, he’s still behind among those who feel “strongly” one way or the other. “The latest figures include 35% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 41% who Strongly Disapprove,” Rasmussen notes. “This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -6.”

Since January, Rasmussen has found Trump’s overall approval fluctuating from between a low of 43%, which he hit in mid-January, to a high of 52%, which he reached the next month. Since the beginning of June, Trump’s range has narrowed somewhat, fluctuating between a low of 45% and a high of 51%. His approval index has been consistently negative, though at times its below the margin of error and has even reached 0 a few times.

Compared to Rasmussen’s results for his predecessor, Trump is tracking pretty well. At the same time in his presidency (Sept 16 2011), Obama was at 46% approval and 53% disapproval, about 4 points worse than Trump.

WATCH: President Trump UNLOADS on the New York Times

Over the weekend, the New York Times published an excerpt from a new book about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, where he is accused of sexual misconduct similar to the allegations made by Deborah Ramirez during his confirmation hearings. The Times ended up making a correction on Sunday saying exculpatory information was not included in the excerpt. Specifically, the excerpt failed to mention that the female student in question didn’t want to be interviewed and her friends said she didn’t recall the incident.

During a Q&A with reporters, President Donald Trump was asked about the Times’ decision to run the excerpt without including that bit of information.

“Do you think the New York Times should fire the individuals responsible for claiming that [Supreme Court Justice Brett] Kavanaugh committed sexual misconduct without including exculpatory information?” the Daily Caller’s Amber Athey asked Trump. . .

“The New York Times made another terrible mistake. It’s a shame that a thing like that can happen. I see that they’re making a big correction today. They just announced there’s a correction. But to do that about a Supreme Court justice is a terrible thing I think,” Trump replied. “I think false accusation, whatever happened with the New York Times, I mean, I can tell you personally, they never check. They never do– we used to have a thing called fact checking. They don’t do fact checking anymore. They used to call and say, ‘What about this? What about that?'”

“How can they do a thing like that and destroy someone’s life?” Trump asked. “I mean, they’re destroying lives and it’s fake news, fake news.”

Bernie Wants to Ban ALL DEPORTATIONS

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on Saturday told progressive Latino group Mijente that if elected president, he would have a complete moratorium on the deportation of illegal aliens.

“We are going to end the ICE raids that are terrorizing communities all across this country,” Sanders said. “We are going to impose a moratorium on deportations. And we are going to, as I mentioned — and there are some things that a president can do with executive orders and some things you can’t.” . . .

“I am, as some of you know, supportive of a Medicare for All single-payer system and that means that everybody in the country has health care including the undocumented. And mark my words. You’ll see 30-second attacking me for that,” Sanders explained.

WATCH: Trump’s Awesome Entrance With the Newest Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient

President Donald J. Trump knows a winner when he sees one. So, for the president’s choice for the 2019 Medal of Freedom recipient, it was a no brainer. . .

Mariano Rivera, former Major League Baseball New York Yankees closer, five-time World Series champion, and the first person unanimously elected to the MLB Hall of Fame, was awarded the nation’s highest civilian honor on Monday. . .

Rivera was born in Panama City, Panama. He became a United States citizen in October 2015. Baseball fans across America recognize Metallica’s song, Enter Sandman, as Rivera’s walkout song that played each time he took the mound. On Monday, the president incorporated this iconic anthem into the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony.

Rivera is a devout Christian. In his 2019 Hall of Fame acceptance speech, he professed his faith and thanked Jesus Christ for talent.

“I want to start this by thanking my good Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,” Rivera said in January, “for giving me the talent and the blessing, and opening doors I could never close, that no man could close. He has given us a beautiful day today, and it’s amazing. So thank You Lord for everything You have done in my life.” (Read more from “Trump’s Awesome Entrance With the Newest Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient” HERE)
