Trump Forces IRS to Quietly Shield Him and His Family from Tax Audits FOREVER – as President Escapes Potential $100m Bill

Donald Trump’s administration has blocked the Internal Revenue Service from ever pursuing past audits against the President, his family, or his businesses, a maneuver that could spare him a tax bill estimated at up to $100 million.

The IRS is ‘forever barred and precluded’ from conducting ‘examinations’ of Trump, his ‘related or affiliated individuals,’ and any related trusts or businesses, according to a one-page DOJ document.

The provision was tacked onto an agreement reached earlier this week, when the Justice Department resolved a $10 billion lawsuit the President had brought against the agency by establishing a $1.8 billion fund for his political allies.

The order was signed by Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Trump’s former personal attorney, and quietly posted to the Justice Department’s website.

A prior IRS audit in 2024 on Trump’s tax filings could have cost Trump more than $100 million. It remains unclear whether that examination has concluded, or whether Trump, his family members, or affiliated entities are subject to any other audits.

Current IRS procedure mandates an annual audit of President’s tax returns. (Read more from “Trump Forces IRS to Quietly Shield Him and His Family from Tax Audits FOREVER – as President Escapes Potential $100m Bill” HERE)

Even The Most Loyal Young MAGA Warriors Jump Ship Over Iran War

Young conservative activists who overwhelmingly backed President Donald Trump’s movement just months ago are now showing signs of fracture as the president’s Iran conflict drags on.

The divide has become increasingly visible among Turning Point USA’s (TPUSA) youth base, where young conservatives had recently rallied behind Trump-adjacent figures at AmericaFest before the war in Iran scrambled parts of the America First movement. Some TPUSA chapter leaders and young conservative activists are now gravitating toward anti-war figures such as Tucker Carlson, even as others remain loyal to the president.

Six chapter leaders have recently come out expressing their frustration with the president’s handling of the war with Iran, according to Politico. Trump’s pledge during his 2024 presidential campaign not to start any new wars struck a chord with young voters, who dramatically shifted to the right that cycle.

Steve Cortes, a former Trump campaign adviser and longtime America First commentator, told the Daily Caller News Foundation that while young voters were among Trump’s biggest growth groups in 2024, the president’s support among them has eroded amid economic frustration and the conflict in Iran.

“The two biggest groups where we made the biggest gains in 2024 for Trump and for Republicans were among Hispanics and young people,” Cortes told the DCNF. “Unfortunately, we’ve seen a complete erosion in both of those groups.” (Read more from “Even The Most Loyal Young MAGA Warriors Jump Ship Over Iran War” HERE)

Long-Lost Remains of 44 Revolutionary War Soldiers will Finally get Proper Burial in NY Town

. . .The long-lost remains of what’s likely more than 40 Revolutionary War soldiers will be returned to an upstate town for a proper burial in a military graveyard Friday, officials said.

The fallen Army officers — whose bones were unearthed by chance during a construction project seven years ago — will be laid to rest in caskets at Lake George’s Battlefield Park as part of a sprawling 700,000 memorial project.

Construction crews stumbled on an 18th-century cemetery below Courtland Street in Lake George in 2019, and archaeologists later recovered what’s believed to be the remains of 44 soldiers.

The bones were later transported to the New York State Museum in Albany, where researchers painstakingly reconstructed the stories of the dead from thousands of recovered fragments.

Julie Weatherwax, a New York State Museum bioarcheology technician, said she spent months examining teeth to determine how many people they’d likely dug up.

“I spent the better part of a year putting together over 800 loose teeth and just trying to recreate the dental arcades for people,” Weatherwax told cbs6albany.com. “And that’s how we actually got the minimum number of 44 individuals was from the dental arcades I was able to put back together.” (Read more from “Long-Lost Remains of 44 Revolutionary War Soldiers will Finally get Proper Burial in NY Town” HERE)

Sinkhole Shuts Down Major US Airport

A sinkhole at one of the country’s busiest hubs grounded half of its runway capacity Wednesday, snarling Northeast air travel as storm clouds rolled in.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey crews discovered the sinkhole at LaGuardia Airport around 11 a.m. during a routine morning sweep of the airfield, the airport said in a statement posted on X. The cavity sat near Runway 4/22, and officials immediately shut down the strip while emergency construction and engineering crews moved to the scene. With just two runways serving the facility, all takeoffs and landings shifted to Runway 13/31, CBS News reported.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) plans to keep Runway 4/22 closed until 6 a.m. Thursday, ABC News reported. Arriving flights faced ground delays averaging 98 minutes by mid-afternoon. Tracking service FlightAware logged 197 cancellations and 168 delays in and out of LaGuardia by that point in the day.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch covering New York City, Long Island, New Jersey and parts of Connecticut ran from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern, Fox 5 New York reported. No injuries were tied to the sinkhole. (Read more from “Sinkhole Shuts Down Major US Airport” HERE)

Report Finds That Iran Downed 42 U.S. Jets as War Costs Top $29 Billion

According to a congressional report, the U.S. has lost or damaged 42 aircraft in the Iran War, raising the Department of War’s cost estimate for the operations to $29 billion.

The report comes days after Acting Pentagon Comptroller Jules W. Hurst III testified during a May 12 hearing that the department’s cost estimate for military operations in Iran has increased to $29 billion.

Three F-15E Strike Eagles brought down by friendly fire over Kuwait were confirmed to have caused an estimated $300 million in damage on their own. The report, filed by the Congressional Research Service, confirmed earlier headlines about the cost of the jets that were brought down over Kuwait in March. . .

Four of them are listed as F-15E Strike Eagles – an older model with costly replacement parts. One F-15E Strike Eagle costs roughly $90 to $125 million per unit, according to Air Force estimates. Three of these models were shot down in Kuwait in friendly fire, while one shot down over Iran as the U.S. and Israel scrambled to pick up the pilots and crew unharmed.

The military also lost one F-35A Lightning II, worth approximately $82.5 million, an A-10 Thunderbolt II (often called the “Warthog”), worth approximately $13.4 million, and seven KC-135 Stratotanker aerial refueling aircraft, with each one ranging from $65 million to $79 million. Socialist Seattle Mayor Walks back Stinging Comments about Starbucks, as Fears Mount that the Coffee Giant may Pull out of the Liberal City

Seattle’s lefty Mayor Katie Wilson admitted she was wrong to slam Starbucks and push for a boycott of the mega-coffee chain birthed in the Pacific City.

Wilson, 43, issued a terse mea culpa to the New York Times this week as questions swirl about whether the liberal Northwest city can attract and retain businesses, including Starbucks, which recently chose to expand its footprint in Tennessee.

The democratic socialist made waves last fall when she joined a barista union rally as mayor-elect and expressed her disgust with one of Seattle’s most recognizable businesses.

“I am not buying Starbucks, and you should not either,” she whined in November, according to KUOW.

But several months later, Wilson appeared to walk back her statement.

“Those comments were not productive in the sense that they caused more harm than good,” she told the New York Times. (Read more from “Socialist Seattle Mayor Walks back Stinging Comments about Starbucks, as Fears Mount that the Coffee Giant may Pull out of the Liberal City” HERE)

3 People Dead, Nearly 20 New Mexico First Responders Hospitalized after Exposure to ‘Unknown Substance’

Three people are dead, and nearly 20 first responders in New Mexico were hospitalized for exposure to an “unidentified substance” on Wednesday, according to authorities.

New Mexico State Police arrived at a residence in Mountainair around 11:00 a.m. to assist the Torrance County Sheriff’s Office with a suspected overdose involving an unknown substance.

After entering the home, cops grimly discovered four unidentified people unresponsive. Three of the four people have since died, authorities added.

Eighteen first responders who arrived at the property were exposed to the substance and began experiencing symptoms, including nausea and dizziness, police said.

The remaining occupant and the slew of emergency workers were rushed to the University of New Mexico Hospital, where they are “currently being quarantined, evaluated, and monitored,” the department continued in a statement. US Indicts Former Cuban President Raúl Castro over 1996 Downing of Planes

Federal prosecutors on Wednesday charged former Cuban President Raúl Castro with ordering the 1996 shootdown of civilian planes operated by Miami-based exiles, a major escalation of pressure by the Trump administration on the socialist government. President Donald Trump has set a calamitous energy blockade on the island and has been threatening military action ever since U.S. forces captured the Cuban government’s longtime patron, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.

Two police officers who helped defend the U.S. Capitol from an attack by a mob of President Donald Trump’s supporters sued Wednesday to block anyone — including Jan. 6, 2021, rioters — from receiving payouts from a new nearly $1.8 billion settlement fund for people who claim to be victims of politically motivated prosecutions. The lawsuit’s filing comes a day after Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, during his congressional testimony, wouldn’t rule out the possibility of fund payouts for rioters who assaulted police on Jan. 6.

Also, Trumpscored another win Tuesday against a Republican rival, dislodging Rep. Thomas Massie in Kentucky’s primary and knocking out one of his most outspoken critics on Capitol Hill. Massie has been a particularly difficult thorn in Trump’s side, pushing for the release of the Epstein files, opposing the war with Iran and voting against Trump’s signature tax legislation last year.

The U.S. government will permanently drop tax claims against Trump, according to a settlement document made public Tuesday, in an extraordinary use of executive power that could effectively help shield the president from further examination of his finances and legal conduct. As part of the settlement deal, the U.S. is “forever barred and precluded” from examining or prosecuting Trump, his sons and the Trump organization’s current tax examinations. Trump’s Push Fends off America First Thomas Massie’s Kentucky Reelection Bid; Massie Says He had to Find Primary Winner ‘in Tel Aviv’ to Concede Race (VIDEO)

By New York Post. President Trump claimed his latest political scalp Tuesday night after Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) lost his hotly contested House primary to the commander-in-chief’s hand-picked challenger, Ed Gallrein.

Gallrein, a Trump-backed farmer and retired Navy SEAL, triumphed over Massie by about 10 percentage points in the Bluegrass State’s Fourth Congressional District race, which will go down as the most expensive primary race in US history, with more than $32 million spent on political ads.

“For the same reason I entered as a Navy SEAL officer in 1983, because I had the audacity to think I could make a difference,” Gallrein said in a speech after winning. “I will serve this district, my party and my nation with that same audacity.”

Trump repeatedly urged his supporters to oust Massie, an MIT-educated, seven-term congressman, after he broke with the president on key votes and led the charge to release the files on the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Massie’s defeat came on the heels of Trump’s successful intervention in the Louisiana Republican Senate primary against Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), who had voted to convict the 45th president following his impeachment for incitement of insurrection following the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot. Massie says he had to find primary winner ‘in Tel Aviv’ to concede race

By The Times of Israel. After being defeated in the GOP primary, US House Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky tells supporters that he would’ve announced his concession sooner but he first called his opponent “and it took a while to find Ed Gallrein in Tel Aviv.”

He also claims in his concession speech that young voters are still on his side.

“People that want somebody that will go along to get along, I’ve never heard of that strategy but that seems to be what the voters want,” Massie says. “But not the young voters.”

The crowd is still energetic despite Massie’s loss, and starts a chant of “No more wars!” that the congressman joins in on. Massie’s speech meanders through different topics and touches on other politicians before another chant start of “America First!” (Read more from “Massie says he had to find primary winner ‘in Tel Aviv’ to concede race” HERE)
