Disgraced former Gov. Andrew Cuomo was stripped of his Emmy Award on Tuesday due to sexual harassment allegations substantiated in the state attorney general’s probe that delivered the death knell to his gubernatorial reign.

“The International Academy announced today that in light of the New York Attorney General’s report, and Andrew Cuomo subsequent resignation as governor, it is rescinding his special 2020 international Emmy Award,” reads a statement from the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

“His name and any reference to his receiving the award will be eliminated from International Academy material going forward.”

Cuomo was bestowed the award in November 2020 for his COVID-19 pandemic press briefings.The scandal-scarred governor, who formally resigned Monday, was formerly recognized for his “effective use of television during the pandemic,” the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced. Poll: Biden’s Fans Don’t Like Him Nearly as Much as His Opponents Dislike Him

Americans disapprove of President Joe Biden more intensely than they approve of him, a new poll from The Federalist and Susquehanna Polling & Research shows.

The survey conducted last week not only measured Biden’s falling approval rating following his administration’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan but also noted the intensity gap between those who think the president is doing a good job and those who don’t.

Of the 800 people surveyed, 49 percent said they approved of the job Biden is doing as president while 45 percent said they disapproved. The intensity of this approval and disapproval, however, changed drastically when broken down.

Approximately 32 percent of people surveyed said they “strongly approve” of Biden’s presidency, which dropped to 17 percent for those who said they “somewhat approve” of Biden’s time in office. On the disapprove side, 41 percent of those surveyed said they “strongly disapprove” of Biden. Military Threatens To Revoke Benefits From Marines Who Decline COVID Vaccine

Marines will lose their pensions, tuition assistance, and access to the G.I. bill, along with other military benefits, if they refuse the COVID-19 vaccination, according to internal emails reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.

An Aug. 18 email from Col. Teague Pastel, a commanding officer at the Marine Barracks in Washington, D.C., told colleagues that although “vaccines are still voluntary,” the military believes “they will become mandatory in the near future.” The penalties for refusing the coronavirus vaccination, Pastel wrote, should be in line with others for insubordination. Those penalties include “administration separation,” a demerit in the Marine’s personal file, as well as the forfeiture of various retirement and financial benefits.

“Please continue engaging with our troops on the importance of vaccinating, and stress that it is still voluntary at this time. However, once the vaccine becomes mandatory they need to be prepared to separate and potentially lose benefits,” Pastel’s email reads. “If the Marines are not willing to lose the benefits then they should just get the vaccine now.”

Pastel sent the email prior to the Food and Drug Administration’s Monday move to approve the Pfizer vaccine, which opened the door for the military to mandate it for its members. White House Lies Saying Americans Are Not Stranded in Afghanistan After Telling Them Not Safe To Come to Airport

The White House on Monday argued that Americans were not stranded in Afghanistan, calling it “irresponsible” to say so.

“I think it’s irresponsible to say Americans are stranded,” said White House press secretary Jen Psaki. “They are not. We are committed to bringing Americans who want to come home, home.”

Psaki bristled at Fox News reporter Peter Doocy’s use of the word “stranded” during the daily press briefing to describe the Americans still in Afghanistan.

“We are in touch with them via phone, via text, via email, via any way we can possibly reach Americans to get them home if they want to return home,” she said.

Breaking Coronavirus Isolation in One State Could Mean 5 Years in Prison

Mississippi will punish residents who don’t isolate after testing positive for COVID-19 with up to 5 years in prison and $5,000 in fines, the state’s Department of Health announced on Friday.

“All persons, including fully vaccinated individuals, infected with COVID-19 must remain in the home or other appropriate residential location for 10 days from onset of illness,” state health officer Dr. Thomas Dobbs ordered. “The failure or refusal to obey the lawful order of a health officer is, at a minimum, a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of $500 or imprisonment for six months or both.” (Read more from “Breaking Coronavirus Isolation in One State Could Mean 5 Years in Prison” HERE)

Housing Market Appears To Be ‘Settling Down’

The pandemic-era housing boom is showing signs of slowing, according to new data on previously owned homes released on Monday.

The median price for existing homes declined from an all-time record of $362,000 in June to $359,000 in July, which is still a 17.8% increase from when the United States was mired in the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic a year prior. Existing home sales also rose 2% from the prior month to a seasonally adjusted 5.99 million units, according to the National Association of Realtors.

“The housing market went through a big swing during the COVID lockdown. Once the economy reopened, now the sector appears to be settling down,” said Lawrence Yun, NAR’s chief economist, after the results were announced on Monday.

The inventory of unsold homes increased 7.3% to 1.32 million from June to last month, which is equivalent to 2.6 months of the monthly sales pace, the NAR said in a news release.

Bank of America Training Program: United States Is a System of “White Supremacy”, Urges Employees To Get ”Woke at Work”

Bank of America Corporation has implemented a racial reeducation program that claims the United States is a system of “white supremacy” and encourages employees to become “woke at work,” instructing white employees in particular to “decolonize [their] mind[s]” and “cede power to people of color.”

On the program’s first day, Bank of America teaches employees that the United States is a “racialized society” that “use[s] race to establish and justify systems of power, privilege, disenfranchisement, and oppression,” which “give[s] privileges to white people resulting in disadvantages to people of color.” According to the training program, all whites—“regardless of one’s socioeconomic class background or other disadvantages”—are “living a life with white skin privileges.” Even children are implicated in the system of white supremacy: according to the program materials, white toddlers “develop racial biases by ages three to five” and “should be actively taught to recognize and reject the ‘smog’ of white privilege.”

Over the next three days, Bank of America teaches employees about intersectionality, unconscious bias, microaggressions, and systemic racism. “Racism in America idolizes White physical features and White values as supreme over those of others,” the program asserts. As a result of being part of the “dominant culture,” whites are more likely to “have more limited imagination,” “experience fear, anxiety, guilt, or shame,” “contribute to racial tension, hatred, and violence in our homes, communities, and world,” and, subsequently, “react in broken ways as a result.” People of color, on the other hand, cannot be racist, because “racism is used to justify the position of the dominant group . . . and to uphold white supremacy and superiority.” Therefore, the discussion guide claims, “reverse racism and discrimination are not possible.” (Read more from “Bank of America Training Program: United States Is a System of “White Supremacy”, Urges Employees To Get ”Woke at Work” HERE)

Soaring: EU Reports 1.9 Million Vaccine Injuries, 20,595 Deaths

The European Union database of suspected drug reaction reports is EudraVigilance, and they are now reporting 20,595 fatalities, and 1,960,607 injuries, following COVID-19 injections.

A Health Impact News subscriber from Europe reminded us that this database maintained at EudraVigilance is only for countries in Europe who are part of the European Union (EU), which comprises 27 countries.

The total number of countries in Europe is much higher, almost twice as many, numbering around 50. (There are some differences of opinion as to which countries are technically part of Europe.)

So as high as these numbers are, they do NOT reflect all of Europe. The actual number in Europe who are reported dead or injured due to COVID-19 shots would be much higher than what we are reporting here.

California Man Found With Over 300 Stolen Recall Election Ballots

A California man was reportedly arrested in possession of 300 mail-in votes for the upcoming gubernatorial recall election, along with guns and drugs.

According to reports Monday by Los Angeles news outlets, the unnamed man was arrested last week while sleeping in his car parked at a Torrance 7-Eleven.

“Inside the vehicle, the officers found a loaded handgun, some narcotics, and then they found a bunch of mail and what turned out to be over 300 election ballots in the backseat of the vehicle,” Sgt. Mark Ponegalek of the Torrance Police Department said, according to TV station KABC.

“They appeared to be in a box, but they were also kind of strewn across the backseat of the vehicle and so there was just a large portion of mail in that backseat.”

Airport Gunfight: Showdown in Kabul as U.S., German Forces Exchange Fire With Gunman; SEAL Who Shot Bin Laden Says He’d Just Need 9 Guys to Save Americans in Kabul

By New York Post. A deadly gunfight broke out at Afghanistan’s main airport early Monday, with an Afghan guard killed and several others injured as US and German soldiers exchanged fire with unidentified gunmen, officials said.

The latest fatality at the troubled airport came just before 4:15 a.m. as Afghan security forces helping secure the base exchanged fire with the unidentified attackers, the German military said on Twitter.

CNN reported that a sniper outside the airport had fired at Afghan guards inside, who then returned fire.

Sources told the outlet that in the confusion, US soldiers may have also shot at the Afghan soldiers — who are there to help the desperate scramble of thousands trying to flee Taliban rule — after the Afghans returned fire.

SEAL Who Shot Bin Laden Says He’d Just Need 9 Guys to Save Americans in Kabul

By Newsweek. A former Navy SEAL who shot Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden told Fox News on Friday that he could rescue Americans from Kabul with “nine guys” amid the Taliban takeover of the country.

Robert O’Neill discussed the situation in Afghanistan on Primetime with Will Cain and suggested that many U.S. admirals and generals should have resigned or been fired over recent events in the country.

O’Neill was a member of SEAL Team Six, which undertook the raid that killed bin Laden in 2011 in Abbottabad, Pakistan. He later claimed to have delivered the fatal blow to bin Laden himself, though this claim has proven controversial and has been disputed by another Navy SEAL who was involved. . .

“Look, I don’t want to be in charge, but if I was – oh I want to get the Americans? Cool. Give me nine guys. I’m gonna walk through the streets and I’m gonna kill everyone I see, and I’m gonna grab the Americans. It is not difficult,” O’Neill said.
