President Biden on Wednesday declared June a “national month of action” to take aim at the coronavirus pandemic, urging Americans to get vaccinated.

Aiming to reach his goal of getting at least one COVID vaccination shot into the arms of 70% of the nation’s adults by July 4th, the president unveiled a five-part plan to reach that goal, which included steps to make it easier to get the vaccine and incentives such as free food, beer, and tickets. . .

“Fully vaccinated are safely shredding their masks and greeting one another with a smile. Grandparents are hugging their grandkids again. Small business owners are reopening storefronts and restaurants because of the vaccination strategy,” the president emphasized.

Biden also said that after combating a pandemic that’s taken the lives of more than 600,000 Americans since the beginning of last year, the nation’s headed into a “summer of freedom. A summer of joy. A summer of get-togethers and celebrations. State Plans To Kill Death Row Inmates With Same Gas Used at Auschwitz

Arizona is preparing to use hydrogen cyanide, the same poison gas used by the Nazis at Auschwitz, to kill its inmates on death row, documents show.

The state’s corrections officials have rehabilitated a gas chamber that has gone unused for 20 years, and have begun to make the deadly gas, according to partially redacted public documents first reported by The Guardian. The documents show that the state has purchased potassium cyanide, sodium hydroxide pellets and sulfuric acid, all of which are ingredients for the poison gas. The documents also show that the state has taken steps to make the chamber “operationally ready.”

“You have to wonder what Arizona was thinking in believing that in 2021 it’s acceptable to execute people in a gas chamber with cyanide gas,” Robert Dunham, executive director of the Death Penalty Information Center, told The Guardian. “Did they have anybody study the history of the Holocaust?”

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry said it was “prepared to perform its legal obligation and commence the execution process as part of the legally imposed sentence, regardless of method selected,” in a statement to The Washington Post. The department also said that it gave defendants 20 days to choose whether they wanted to die by lethal gas or lethal injection. Report: Trump Expects To Be ‘Reinstated’ as President in August

Former President Donald Trump has reportedly told those close to him that he expects to be “reinstated” as president in August. . .

Haberman’s post was shared along with a clip of a CNN report that alleged former national security adviser Michael Flynn had endorsed a “Myanmar-style coup” in the United States at an event in Dallas Sunday. . .

But lawyer Sidney Powell, who has represented Flynn and Trump in the past, denied Flynn had called for “any act of violence or any military insurrection” with his comments, which she said had been “grossly distorted” by the media. GOP Passes Bill Naming ‘President Donald J. Trump Highway’

Republican Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed Friday a bill that renames a stretch of a state highway after former President Donald Trump.

“Section of State Highway 287 beginning at the municipal limits of Boise City extending southeast to the Oklahoma-Texas border in Cimarron County shall be designated as the ‘President Donald J. Trump Highway,’” the Senate Bill 624 signed into law by Stitt reads.

Google Diversity Head: Jews Have ‘Insatiable Appetite for War’

Google’s head of diversity strategy is under fire over a 2007 blog post in which he wrote that Jews have “an insatiable appetite for war and killing” — and an “insensitivity” to people’s suffering.

Kamau Bobb made the comments in a Nov. 30, 2007, post titled “If I Were a Jew” when he was a research associate in technology at Georgia Tech, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

In it, he described how he believed Jews should view the Middle East conflict as he assailed Israel’s actions in Gaza and Lebanon at the time.

“If I were a Jew I would be concerned about my insatiable appetite for war and killing in defense of myself,” he wrote.

“Self defense is undoubtedly an instinct, but I would be afraid of my increasing insensitivity to the suffering (of) others. My greatest torment would be that I’ve misinterpreted the identity offered by my history and transposed spiritual and human compassion with self righteous impunity.”

Biden Administration’s Blatant Institutional Racism Gets Rebuke From Sixth Circuit

Last week, while the press drooled over the president’s ice cream selection, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Vitolo v. Guzman declared unconstitutional the Biden administration’s race-based approach to distributing COVID-relief funds.

While Vitolo only addressed the race- and sex-based reverse discrimination in the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the precedent could prove fatal to many other federal and state statutes, regulations, or practices, leaving the Biden administration with a difficult choice: accept defeat in Vitolo and risk a domino effect, or appeal and face an even more unpalatable decision from a newly comprised Supreme Court. . .

In passing the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA), Congress created a $28.6 billion fund for grants to restaurants impacted by the “uncertainty of current economic conditions.” But rather than provide Americans access to these funds equally, Congress expressly mandated race- and sex-based discrimination in doling out the money.

Pentagon: Diversity Training Essential In ‘Defending the Nation’; Dan Crenshaw Launches ‘Whistleblower’ Page Over Woke Ideology in Military

By New York Post. The Pentagon defended the military’s diversity and inclusion training programs amid a torrent of criticism, saying they are essential for recruiting the “right people” in its duty to defend the nation.​

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby was asked during Tuesday’s briefing about GOP lawmakers creating sites urging whistleblowers in the armed services to expose progressive diversity training programs, some of which have reportedly deemed white people “inherently evil.”

“We certainly respect the oversight that Congress provides. I’m not going to comment on any specific one initiative that members of Congress might be doing​,” Kirby said. “What I can speak to is what we’re really focused on here at the department and that’s defending the nation. And that means putting in place the right resources, the right strategies, the right operational concepts to do that, around the world.​”

Dan Crenshaw Launches ‘Whistleblower’ Page Over Woke Ideology in Military

By Newsweek. Representative Dan Crenshaw has launched a webpage for whistleblowers to report instances of what he called “woke ideology” in the U.S. military with the protection of anonymity.

Crenshaw, a Republican who represents Texas’ 2nd congressional district, has set up the facility along with Senator Tom Cotton (R-AK) and announced the move on Twitter on Friday.

“Enough is enough. We won’t let our military fall to woke ideology. We have just launched a whistleblower webpage where you can submit your story,” Crenshaw wrote.

Joe Biden Appoints Kamala Harris To Lead Again — On Coronavirus Vaccine Promotion Tour

President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that Vice President Kamala Harris would take the lead on another issue priority for his administration.

“We are going to launch a national vaccination tour to encourage people to take the shot,” Biden said at the White House. “The vice president is going to lead that tour across the south and midwest, where we still have millions of people to vaccinate.”

Biden said that Harris would be joined by her husband Doug Emhoff and First Lady Jill Biden on the tour as well as cabinet secretaries.

The news of Harris leading a vaccination tour marks the fifth responsibility the White House has passed on to the vice president.

Biden also asked Harris to lead on the migrant crisis on the southern border, leading the push to expand access to broadband internet, and leading small business outreach in the coronavirus rescue package. Mark Meadows Says ‘More To Come With Hunter Biden’

Where is Hunter? A top Trump White House official suggested the public will be hearing more about President Joe Biden’s son in the future.

Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows teased what he may know about the Biden family’s business dealings during an interview Wednesday on Newsmax.

“I can tell you, there is more to come with Hunter Biden,” Meadows told host Grant Stinchfield.

“It’s amazing how Joe Biden and Hunter Biden actually had a quid pro quo, and to accuse President Trump of using his influence to enrich his family was just not accurate,” Meadows added. “And now, what we’re seeing is perhaps the real influence-peddling that took place was by then-Vice President Joe Biden.”

Meadows was responding to a New York Post report on more materials from the laptop believed to have belonged to Hunter Biden indicating that his father may have met with his Ukrainian, Russian, and Kazakhstani business associates at a dinner in Washington, D.C., in 2015 when Joe Biden was vice president. States To Give Away Guns, Cars and Millions as COVID Vaccine Lottery Prizes

By National Review. West Virginia will give away guns, trucks and cash to incentivize state residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19, Governor Jim Justice announced Tuesday.

Drawings for a new vaccine incentive lottery program will run from Father’s Day on June 20 to August 4. During the first drawing on Father’s Day, the state plans to give away five custom hunting rifles and five custom hunting shotguns.

Justice said West Virginia will also give out two brand-new custom outfitted trucks and five lifetime hunting and fishing licenses. Vaccinated residents stand to win one of 25 getaways to the state’s parks.

California To Offer $116.5M in Vaccine Prize Money; Ohio Woman Claims State’s First $1m Vaccine Jackpot

By Yahoo News. California is hopping on the trend of cash prizes for vaccinated individuals in hopes that the incentive will stimulate its plateauing vaccination rate.

Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Thursday that the state is offering the nation’s largest vaccine prize money — $116.5 million — to get millions more inoculated before the state’s reopening next month.

“This is all in an effort to incentivize and build momentum,” Newsom said.

Ten vaccinated residents 12 years and older will have the chance to win $1.5 million dollars apiece, and another 30 will win $50,000 each on June 4 and June 11. Anyone 12 and older who has received at least one shot will be eligible, even if they have already received their shot.
