U.S. County Takes National Lead In Pushing Back Against Vaccine Passports

On April 4, the commissioners of St. Joseph County, Indiana passed a resolution against vaccine passports, saying they would “unduly and unnecessarily restrict the freedom of Americans; harm patient privacy; and have a negative financial impact of individuals of color and other marginalized communities.”

It is a bold move for a community, and taking ownership of an issue where you live is smart. That’s why I’ve worked to help this resolution pass in my home of St. Joseph County, location of South Bend. South Bend is is famous for the University of Notre Dame and for former mayor, now Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

St. Joseph County is one of the first localities nationally to take such a stand. The move pushes back against the lockdown mentality from public health authorities across the nation.

St. Joseph County’s health officer was probably the first in the state to issue a public health order demanding masks in 2020, long before the governor ever implemented his own mandate. Locals fought back and sued the county and its health officer, Robert Einterz. He admitted in court he never had the legal authority to force citizens to wear masks. . .

The truth is, vaccine passport programs aren’t going to just roll out in big, blue cities and states like New York, which already has its Excelsior Pass underway. Vaccination against a disease many Americans already have immunity to and many are at low risk from threatens to become an essential requirement to participate in communities all over the country. Trump Endorses Candidate to Replace Liz Cheney In House Leadership

Former President Donald Trump endorsed New York Rep. Elise Stefanik to replace Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney as House Republican Conference Chair, while the conference prepares for a likely vote next week.

“Liz Cheney is a warmongering fool who has no business in Republican Party Leadership,” Trump wrote in a statement Wednesday.

“We want leaders who believe in the Make America Great Again movement, and prioritize the values of America first. Elise Stefanik is a far superior choice, and she has my COMPLETE and TOTAL Endorsement for GOP Conference Chair. Elise is a tough and smart communicator!” he wrote.

Cheney survived a referendum on her role in leadership three months after her futile crusade to recruit GOP members in support of Trump’s second impeachment. The three-term Wyoming lawmaker ended up one of 10 Republicans to join Democrats in the effort, several of whom had already announced their intent to vote in line with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the extreme measure. Report: Employees Scream and Cry After Exec Says They Don’t Live in a ‘White Supremacist Culture’

Nearly one-third of software company Basecamp’s employees resigned after a Zoom call with leadership where workers cried and screamed because one of the executives rejected the notion that they “live in a white supremacist culture,” The Verge reported Monday.

The meeting occurred Friday days after Basecamp’s CEO Jason Fried announced in a blog post that the company would prohibit “societal and political discussions” on the company’s internal chat forum because they were “not healthy,” according to The Verge.

In April, The Verge reported that employees took issue with a long-standing company practice of maintaining a list of “funny” company names, which some employees argued could lead to racist violence and even genocide. Many names were reportedly of American or European origin, but some were Asian or African. Diner Pulls Out Gun After Armed BLM Protesters Storm Restaurant

A tense interaction between BLM protesters and restaurant patrons played out in Louisville during the Kentucky Derby on Saturday. It started when BLM protesters, some who were armed, stormed the outdoor patio of the La Chasse, an upscale European restaurant.

A restaurant employee called police and told dispatchers “that multiple armed protesters entered the restaurant property, which included outdoor dining space,” police spokeswoman Alicia Smiley told Fox News. . .

A reporter with the Louisville Courier-Journal recorded the hectic situation. People on both sides can be seen shouting at each other. One BLM marcher is armed with what looks to be a rifle. An older patron of the restaurant points a small pistol at the marchers.

Bombshell Claim: Former Navy SEAL Gallagher Claims Entire Platoon Intended to Kill ISIS Teen

Retired Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher — who was acquitted of murdering a 17-year-old ISIS militant in 2017 — has now claimed that his entire platoon agreed to kill the prisoner and practice medical procedures on him.

“The grain of truth in the whole thing is that that ISIS fighter was killed by us, and that nobody at that time had a problem with it,” Gallagher, 41, said in an interview on “The Line” podcast released Tuesday.

“We killed that guy,” he said. “Our intention was to kill him, everybody was on board.”

Trump Launches New Communications Platform Months After Twitter, Facebook Ban

By Fox News. Former President Trump launched a communications platform on Tuesday, which will serve as “a place to speak freely and safely,” and will eventually give him the ability to communicate directly with his followers, after months of being banned from sites like Twitter and Facebook. . .

The space allows Trump to post comments, images, and videos.

“In a time of silence and lies,” a video Trump posted to the platform Tuesday night says. The video then plays news reports describing his suspension from Twitter.

“A beacon of freedom arises. A place to speak freely and safely,” the video continues, showing the new platform. “Straight from the desk of Donald J. Trump.”

The technology appears to be powered by Campaign Nucleus— the “digital ecosystem made for efficiently managing political campaigns and organizations,” created by his former campaign manager, Brad Parscale. Institutional Racism? Biden Coronavirus Relief Prioritizes Funds for Non-White Business Owners; Scammers Defrauded Relief Funds Out of Millions

By Breitbart. Restaurants and venues owned by white men will be last in line for federal relief under President Joe Biden’s “Restaurants Revitalization Fund” (RRF), prioritizing funds for women and minority groups first.

As part of Biden’s American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Small Business Administration (SBA) is opening the application process by which owners of restaurant, bars, and other venues can apply for federal relief to help make up for the loss of revenue as a result of economic lockdowns spurred by the Chinese coronavirus crisis.

The plan allows business owners to apply for relief of up to $10 million per business and no more than $5 million per physical location. Business owners do not have to repay the funds so long as the money is spent by March 2023.

The relief, though, is being prioritized based on race, gender, and whether or not business owners are considered “socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.” White men, for example, who are not Veterans of the United States Armed Forces, are not eligible for “priority period” processing and funding.

Under the guidelines of the RRF, the SBA is giving priority processing and funding to “small business owned by women, veterans, or socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.” (Read more from “Institutional Racism? Scammers Allegedly Claimed to Run Churches, Defrauded Coronavirus Relief Funds Out of Millions

By Fox Business. Six people allegedly defrauded government coronavirus relief programs of $3.3 million last year by claiming to run churches that care for the needy.

Terrence Pounds, Charles Tiller, Terri Davis, Randolph Nunn, Samira Abdul-Karim and Quwan Simmons were all charged with wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud on Tuesday, according to the Department of Justice. . .

The government alleged that Pounds acted as the ring leader in the scheme and would have the other five send him their personal information, which he would use to apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans and Paycheck Protection Program loans. Once the loans went through, the applicant would then allegedly send Pounds a portion of the fraudulently obtained proceeds.

Under one loan application, Pounds allegedly said he operated “Truth Ministries Global Inc,” which he claimed was a “Faith Based Organization” or “Church.”

America Last: DHS Secretary Says ‘Highest Priority’ Is to Help Migrant Families

President Joe Biden’s Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, declared on May 4 that his agency’s “highest priority” is to reunite foreign families with the children they left behind in the United States when they were deported during President Donald Trump’s term in office.

Mayorkas’s claim to MSNBC on March 4 came after he announced that four deported families would be allowed into the United States to live with a child or teenager they left behind. “We need … [to] develop a process where we can systemically bring them into this country safely and begin the healing process,” he claimed, according to a transcript prepared and released by his Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The media-magnified spotlight by Biden and Mayorkas on the migrant families “is distracting attention from their own responsibility for screwing up the border,” responded Mark Krikorian, the director of the Center for Immigration Studies. . .

Mayorkas told MSNBC March 4:

Our highest priority is to reunite these families. As we so powerfully saw, these are young people in their formative years. These are sometimes children as young as 3 years old. We are addressing the needs and vulnerabilities, not only of the children, but of course, their mothers, their fathers, the people that make up these families.

Avalanche of Leftist Lawsuits Aims to Make 2020 Voting Chaos Permanent

Across the country, state legislatures are performing their constitutional duty, passing reforms to improve election procedures that worked well this past election, while addressing those that did not.

Yet as these reasonable, non-discriminatory bills are signed into law, mostly by Republican governors, a common pattern has emerged. D.C.-based Democratic Party-aligned lawyers are immediately filing lawsuits to contest the laws using local groups to establish standing.

These baseless lawsuits consist of copy-and-pasted legal briefs used to attack states focused on election integrity across the nation. With no legal leg to stand on, these lawsuits are light on facts and heavy on unsubstantiated, racially charged rhetoric. Even if these lawsuits don’t ultimately win in court, they attack the moral character of those who support these reforms while firing up left-leaning donors to fill leftists’ political coffers.

More importantly, the left’s goal in fighting these commonsense proposals is to institutionalize the unorthodox and less-secure voting procedures used during the height of the COVID challenge and make them the new norm for a post-pandemic America. Such measures include automatic registration of voters, doing away with any kind of verification that voters are who they say they are, all while pushing a massive expansion of mail-in ballots. The result will be elections that are less fair and free, in perception and reality.

Earlier this month, these left-leaning law firms turned their attention toward Georgia. The same day Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed the Election Integrity Act of 2021, also known as SB202, the lawsuits began pouring in. As of the end of April, there are at least six, all making nearly identical claims.
