Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed Friday that his team exclusively obtained an email showing how Immigration and Customs Enforcement was directed to carry out one of President Joe Biden’s executive orders on immigration. . .

Carlson said that his team obtained an internal email sent to ICE officers in Texas.

The email read, “As of midnight tonight, stop all removals. This includes Mexican bus runs, charter flights and commercial removals (until further notice) … all cases are to be considered [no significant likelihood of removal in foreseeable future].”

“Release them all, immediately. No sponsor available is not acceptable any longer,” the message added.

Here’s the New Office Trump Will Hold

Former President Donald Trump on Monday announced the launch of his official post-presidency office, which will be headquartered in Palm Beach, Florida.

According to an announcement from the “Office of the Former President,” the office will handle all of Trump’s “correspondence, public statements, appearances, and official activities to advance the interests of the United States and to carry on the agenda of the Trump Administration through advocacy, organizing, and public activism.”

The infectious diseases specialist that double-masking is a logical way to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

“If you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on, it just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective,” Fauci said on the “Today” show.

Impeachment Article Delivered to Senate for Second Trial Against Trump

The nine House Democrats tapped as prosecutors in the second Senate trial against former President Donald Trump have officially delivered an article of impeachment to the upper chamber.

The managers put on a somber display marching ceremoniously through the U.S. Capitol on Monday to present the Senate with its single article that alleges Trump incited an insurrection through his actions surrounding the Jan. 6 attack on the very same building by a mob of Trump supporters.

The Hill reported that the lower chamber “impeached Trump 12 days ago and Senate leaders have agreed to postpone the start of the public trial until the week of Feb. 8.” The longest-serving Democrat in the upper chamber, Senate President Pro Tempore Patrick Leahy of Vermont, announced Monday that he would preside over the trial rather than Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court John Roberts.

Ten House Republicans joined Democrats in voting for impeaching Trump, making the condemnation a bipartisan effort as opposed to the first impeachment of the then-president last year when no GOP members cast a vote in favor of his ouster. Gun Store Says It Won’t Sell Firearms, Ammunition to Biden Supporters

A Missouri gun store is turning more than a few heads after announcing that it’s not selling guns or ammunition to supporters of Democratic President Joe Biden.

Oh, and Trigger Firearms and Reloading in Jefferson City posted its Facebook message on Inauguration Day, no less:

Justice Inspector General to Investigate ‘Improper’ Influence on Election

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz on Monday announced the launch of an investigation into whether any former or current DOJ official tried to “alter the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.”

The Washington Examiner reported the announcement follows a report Friday claiming that then-President Trump and a top DOJ lawyer planned to have the acting attorney general, Jeffrey Rosen, removed from his post to clear the way for an investigation of claims of voter fraud in the Nov. 3 election.

Horowitz said his office is making the announcement “to reassure the public that an appropriate agency is investigating the allegations.”

Judge Says State Plan Allowing Ballots Without Postmark Was Illegal

The Virginia Board of Elections rule allowing officials to count ballots that arrived without a postmark up to three days after the election was illegal, a state judge ruled.

Virginia Circuit Court Judge William Eldridge ruled the state’s late mail-in ballot law violated state statute and permanently banned the law in future Virginia elections, the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) announced Monday. PILF sued the state’s board of elections in October on behalf of Thomas Reed, a Frederick County, Virginia election official.

“This is a big win for the Rule of Law,” PILF President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams said in a statement. “This consent decree gives Mr. Reed everything he requested – a permanent ban on accepting ballots without postmarks after Election Day and is a loss for the Virginia bureaucrats who said ballots could come in without these protections.”

The board of elections proposed the rule during an Aug. 4 meeting and related guidance was sent to election officials statewide on Aug. 13 informing them of the change. PILF sued on behalf of Reed on Oct. 9, according to a news release.

On Oct. 28, one week before the Nov. 3 federal elections, Eldridge blocked the law due to the PILF lawsuit. Virginia was therefore prevented from counting late ballots without postmarks, PILF spokesperson Logan Churchwell told the Daily Caller News Foundation. A former CIA software engineer charged with leaking government secrets to WikiLeaks says it’s cruel and unusual punishment that he’s awaiting trial in solitary confinement, housed in a vermin-infested cell of a jail unit where inmates are treated like “caged animals.”

Joshua Schulte, 32, has asked a Manhattan federal judge to force the federal Bureau of Prisons to improve conditions at the Metropolitan Correction Center, where he has been held for over two years under highly restrictive conditions usually reserved for terrorism defendants. . .

The so-called Vault 7 leak published in March 2017 by WikiLeaks revealed how the CIA hacked Apple and Android smartphones in overseas spying operations and efforts to turn internet-connected televisions into listening devices. After a yearlong probe, investigators blamed Schulte, who had already left the agency after falling out with colleagues and supervisors and moved to New York City to work at a news agency.
