‘Who Killed Jeffrey Epstein?’ Prime Time Conspiracy Theory Edition

By PJ Media. Good evening and welcome everyone to another exciting episode of “Who Killed Jefferey Epstein?” Tonight’s special Prime Time Conspiracy Theory Edition of the hit series is brought to you by Victoria’s Secret and our broadcast is made possible by a generous grant from the Clinton Foundation.

Tonight we will sum up the various conspiracy theories that have fascinated millions of Americans. How could a scumbag in a prison full of guards take his own life? Well, the answer is, of course, he didn’t. Jeffrey Epstein, the billionaire investor with the sexual appetites of a satyr, was murdered.

Whodunnit? The list is long, which is why this series will run for five years. Dozens and dozens of rich and powerful men took advantage of Epstein’s gracious invitation to visit various hideaways, including “pedophilia island,” where kids would put out for cash (that’s another game show on another network). But tonight’s special contestant, Donald Trump, has some thoughts on the question of the hour. The nation’s chief executive retweeted one of the most popular theories trending on Twitter:

Daily Beast:

It’s not surprising that Epstein’s death would be such rich fodder for conspiracy theories; he had documented connections with the wealthy and powerful on both sides of the political aisle. Court filings by his accusers allege a plot in which Epstein and his associates recruited underage girls and forced them to have sex with Epstein’s associates. Reports of the alleged crime ring fed into other, more speculative theories, including those with a strong partisan bias that only implicate Epstein associates from one side of the political spectrum.

Trump Shares Epstein Death Conspiracy Theory–So Did All These Democrats

By The Blaze. Conspiracy theorizing hasn’t had this big a day in the mainstream since Aunt May won best actress for My Cousin Vinny, but if you were to go by the “well I never” response in the media for a Trump retweet of a #ClintonBodyCount conspiracy theory following the death of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, you’d think his was the first and only example. . .

The tweet hit all the big hashtags of the day, including #TrumpBodyCount, interestingly. But the “we know who did this” formula here is hardly out of the ordinary for Saturday’s festival of finger pointing. In fact, the text was downright average.

The tweet from Terrence Williams did, though, include video, which included lines like, “now for some odd reason, people that have information on the Clintons end up dead. And they usually die from suicide. Come on, now.” He also said never to tell him anything about the Clintons because he doesn’t want to “end up dead.” . . .

The Clinton conspiracy theory raged all day on Twitter, from thousands of accounts, both blue check and not, though aside from President Trump it didn’t get many takers in what you’d call the mainstream. But it wasn’t the only conspiracy theory floating around. There was another one, and it had exactly what you’d call mainstream takers. . .

NBC News tweeted their article about the Trump retweet. It had the promising-for-the-MSM tagline “President Trump contributes to the rampant promotion of conspiracy theories after Jeffrey Epstein’s death.” That might lead you to believe that NBC News covered the wide swatch of conspiracy theorizing overtaking social media for hours on end. Report: Jeffrey Epstein’s Guard Not Correctional Officer; Autopsy Done; Epstein’s Cellmate Transferred Hours Before “Suicide”

By Associated Press. A person familiar with operations at the federal jail where Jeffrey Epstein killed himself says one of the two people guarding him the night he died wasn’t a correctional officer.

The person wasn’t authorized to disclose information about the investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity. (Read more HERE)

By Daily Wire. The autopsy of registered sex offender and multimillionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein has been completed, though most details of the report remain undisclosed. The alleged pedophile’s cause of death, according to an announcement from the New York City medical examiner late on Sunday, “is pending further information,” a common determination.

According to a report from The Daily Beast, Chief Medical Examiner Barbara Sampson said Epstein’s representatives hired celebrity pathologist Michael Baden “to conduct an independent autopsy and they were allowed to observe the autopsy.”

Baden is known as the “Death Correspondent” for Fox News, according to the Evening Standard, and has been involved in the high-profile deaths of John Belushi, Anna Nicole Smith, and Michael Brown, and testified at the infamous OJ Simpson trial. Dr. Baden has also “examined more than 20,000 bodies and was host of the HBO TV show Autopsy,” the outlet noted.

Epstein was found to have allegedly hanged himself on Saturday morning in his cell at the Metropolitan Correction Center (MCC) and was transferred to a hospital in Manhattan where he arrived in cardiac arrest, reports say.

If it is determined that Epstein did indeed die “at his own hand, his estate, whose members are unknown, could press a claim for wrongful death while he was in the custody of the state,” The Daily Beast reported, noting that it remains unclear if the disgraced financier’s body has been released, or to whom. Epstein’s Cellmate Transferred Hours Before His Death

By Daily Wire. As if there needed to be one more unusual circumstance surrounding what authorities initially classified as the “apparent suicide” of Jeffrey Epstein, officials at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City have dropped yet another doozy.

Epstein, who was found dead in his cell on Saturday, had no cellmate. The man assigned to his cell was abruptly transferred to another cell on Friday and another cellmate was not assigned, The Washington Post reported.

Investigators “are still exploring” why the cellmate was suddenly transferred, the Post said.

Epstein, a wealthy financier who was awaiting trial on charges he sexually abused dozens of young girls in the early 2000s, also was not checked on by guards for several hours before he was found unresponsive in his cell.

Conspiracy theories have exploded over how the convicted pedophile — who had rubbed elbows with prominent politicians from presidents to senators and even princes — could have killed himself while held in a high-security facility, and only two weeks after he was put on suicide watch. A New Trump Policy Could Deny Green Cards to Immigrants Who Use Public Benefits

The Trump administration introduced a sweeping policy Monday that will allow the government to deny permanent residency to immigrants who use or are likely to use public benefits, such as food stamps, housing vouchers and Medicaid.

The policy will take effect in about two months, according to the policy published in the Federal Register. The proposed version of the rule was released in September, and it received more than 260,000 public comments online, many of which were critical. . .

The Immigration and Nationality Act has long allowed the government to reject granting permanent residency to immigrants who were determined to be a financial burden on society or a “public charge” — meaning they’re dependent on the government for financial support.

The new rule would alter how the government decides if someone is a public charge, allowing officials to deny green cards to those who have used or will likely use the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program [SNAP food stamps], Section 8 housing vouchers and assistance, public housing, or most forms of Medicaid.

“This rule is the administration’s attempt to unilaterally implement a broad immigration reform. It will likely shift immigration away from Latin America and towards Europe, while disproportionately disadvantaging women, children, and the elderly,” said Sarah Pierce, an analyst at the Migration Policy Institute. Jerry Nadler Gets Called out for Claiming ‘Formal Impeachment Proceedings’ Underway

House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said in an interview with CNN Thursday that “formal impeachment proceedings” are underway, prompting GOP Rep. Doug Collins to call him out for being off the mark.

“This is formal impeachment proceedings,” Nadler told CNN’s Erin Burnett. “We are investigating all the evidence, gathering the evidence. And we will [at the] conclusion of this — hopefully by the end of the year — vote articles of impeachment to the House floor. Or we won’t. That’s a decision that we’ll have to make. But that’s exactly the process we’re in right now.” . . .

But Collins, the ranking member of the committee, said he’s either uninformed or misleading the public about what the committee is actually doing.

Military Approving Beards for Pagan Worshipers

For nearly a year, the Air Force weighed a staff sergeant’s request to grow a beard as part of his religious beliefs before granting him a waiver, a decision that balanced personal liberty against military readiness, a Pentagon spokesman said.

Staff Sgt. Garrett Sopchak, a 28-year-old aerospace ground equipment craftsman from the 388th Maintenance Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, embraces Norse Heathenism, a belief system whose pantheon includes the gods Odin and Thor. He received his waiver July 8. . .

The Air Force places a high value on the rights of its members to observe the tenets of their respective religions or to observe no religion at all, said Lynn Kirby, an Air Force spokeswoman at the Pentagon, in an Aug. 5 email.

Sopchak is the second Norse Heathen known to have obtained an Air Force waiver to grow a beard. Staff Sgt. William Bailey received a waiver to grow a beard March 1, according to an Air Force memo posted in July to the amn/nco/snco Facebook page.

The Air Force, citing privacy concerns, declined to identify how many airmen have obtained waivers based on religious exemptions but said the publicity surrounding approvals in recent years has not caused an increase in waiver requests. NYC Caves on Gun Law to Avoid a Second Amendment Showdown at SCOTUS. Will It Work?

When the Supreme Court comes back to work in the fall, it’s currently scheduled to take up its first big gun rights case in a while, but not if the city of New York has its way.

The question to be decided in the case of New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. [NYSRPA] v. City of New York, New York — which the Supreme Court agreed in January to take up — is whether New York City’s laws about transporting a licensed, unloaded, and locked firearm to a residence or shooting range outside the five boroughs is consistent with the Second Amendment.

Now, however, New York City claims that because it finally eased the restrictions on transporting firearms for the city’s licensed gun owners, there’s no longer a controversy that requires the Supreme Court’s review of the matter.

“Independently and together, the new statute and regulation give petitioners everything they have sought in this lawsuit,” the city’s legal team argued in a court document in July.

“Time and again, therefore, this Court has ordered cases dismissed … where intervening developments seemingly mooted a case but plaintiffs nonetheless implored the Court to decide it,” the city added. “Put another way, [the Supreme Court] may not ‘rule on a plaintiff’s entitlement to relief’ simply because he ‘won’t take “yes” for an answer,’” the city suggested, citing a previous opinion by Chief Justice John Roberts.

Lawyers for the NYSRPA responded to the city’s position with a letter saying that the case should still go before the Supreme Court.

“Whatever the merits of respondents’ mootness arguments, there is no reason to validate respondents’ efforts to deviate from the ordinary procedures for bringing those arguments before this Court,” the letter says.

The Supreme Court, according to the Washington Post, has told both parties involved to continue filing briefs on the matter and that the court will decide before the October session begins whether to hear the case or not.

The city’s policy reversal came after the city successfully defended the regulations in both federal district and appeals court, the Post pointed out, suggesting that the city doesn’t think it has much of a chance of success in front of the current court, with Trump-appointed Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

If the court still decides to press ahead and hear the case despite New York City’s mootness claims, a final decision would come out well before the 2020 general election and possibly during primary season. Trump Admin Introduces New Rule to Screen out Immigration Applicants Likely to Depend on Welfare

The following is an excerpt from Blaze Media’s daily Capitol Hill Brief email newsletter:

The Trump administration has introduced a new “public charge” rule to cut down on legal immigrants unlikely to support themselves without government welfare.

Section 212 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) clearly states that prospective visa and green card holders are inadmissible if the individual “at the time of application for admission or adjustment of status, is likely at any time to become a public charge.” Before that, Conservative Review’s Daniel Horowitz lays out, America had a long history of prudentially restricting immigration based on the potential that a newcomer might not be self-sufficient once admitted.

While the Trump administration has already been cracking down on potential immigrant welfare recipients, the updated version of the rule rolled out Monday morning will incorporate more types of public benefits that will be considered in the process and is an effort to “better ensure” that legal immigrants to the United States are “self-sufficient,” per a DHS press release.

“For over a century, the public charge ground of inadmissibility has been part of our nation’s immigration laws,” USCIS acting Director Ken Cuccinelli said in a statement. “Throughout our history, self-sufficiency has been a core tenet of the American dream. Self-reliance, industriousness, and perseverance laid the foundation of our nation and have defined generations of hardworking immigrants seeking opportunity in the United States ever since.”

Immigration lawyer David Leopold, however, told The Washington Times that the move is “a flimsy pretext to close America’s door to middle and working-class immigrants.”

The regulations do not apply to vulnerable populations seeking asylum or refugee status in the United States, victims of severe human trafficking, or victims of domestic violence applying for green cards under the Violence Against Women Act, per a USCIS fact sheet. Under the new rule, applicants denied solely on public charge grounds will be able in some circumstances to post a bond along with their application.

The rule will be dated August 14 in the Federal Register and will go into effect 60 days later. (For more from the author of “Trump Admin Introduces New Rule to Screen out Immigration Applicants Likely to Depend on Welfare” please click HERE)

FBI Confirms They’ve Raided Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘Pedophile Island’

Former billionaire hedge fund manager Jeffery Epstein committed suicide over the weekend. He had tried to kill himself two weeks prior, which landed him on suicide watch. For some reason, it was terminated hours before he died. Attorney General William Barr is not happy, calling Epstein death while under federal custody “appalling.” He’s ordered the FBI and the Department of Justice inspector general to look into his death. Epstein has been indicted on sex crimes charges, including trafficking underage girls.

Given Epstein’s connections to some of the world’s most powerful people, along with reported blackmail tapes that were found in his Manhattan residence, it’s no shocker that we have grassy knoll syndrome here. The conspiracy theorists are doing their thing, but they may not be totally wrong here. Now, the Left had peddled some whacko nonsense, with MSNBC going full-blown crazy insinuating that AG Barr might be involved in Epstein’s death or the Russians. It’s all very suspicious and warrants an investigation. Troves of evidence were found in Epstein’s Manhattan home, but Jerry Dunleavy at The Washington Examiner reported that the FBI confirmed to him that they’re raised his mansion on “Pedophile Island” as well. The exact location is Little St. James in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The bureau just told Dunleavy that they were on the island and didn’t elaborate further, but we all know what they’re doing there (via Washington Examiner):

At least a dozen members of Customs and Border Protection and the FBI landed on Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous Little St. James — nicknamed “Pedophile Island” — in the U.S. Virgin Islands on Monday, two days after the accused child sex trafficker was found dead in his Manhattan prison cell in an apparent suicide.

Multiple news outlets captured video and photos of the agents landing at the island’s dock by boat, with some agents then getting into golf carts while other agents appeared to search the surrounding water in scuba gear.

“Yes, we’re on the island,” an FBI spokesperson told the Washington Examiner. “But we can’t provide any further detail unfortunately.”

Killer Illegal Alien Claims ‘Constitutional Rights’ Violated

Illegal alien Cristhian Bahena Rivera claims in new court filings that his constitutional rights were violated by Iowa law enforcement officials after being interrogated for allegedly murdering 20-year-old college student Mollie Tibbetts in Brooklyn, Iowa, last year.

In August 2018, Bahena Rivera, a 25-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, was charged with Tibbetts’ murder after police said he admitted to confronting and chasing down the young woman.

After a nationwide search, Tibbetts’ body was found in a cornfield in Poweshiek County, Iowa. The illegal alien lived in a region of Iowa that was surrounded by sanctuary cities, as Breitbart News noted, and worked on a dairy farm using a stolen ID and Social Security card after allegedly crossing the U.S.-Mexico border as a child.

A 29-page motion obtained by the Des Moines Register and filed by Bahena Rivera’s defense attorneys, Chad and Jennifer Frese, claims that the illegal alien had his constitutional rights violated when local Iowa police took him in for questioning and did not make clear that he could have contacted the Mexican consulate before speaking to law enforcement.

“Providing this information to Bahena — a confused, exhausted and vulnerable Mexican national was seeking trustworthy help — would have triggered an invocation of consular notification and a decision to await the consulate’s assistance before making any other statements,” the defense attorneys wrote in the motion. This Is Why We NEED to Look into Epstein’s (Alleged) Suicide

Former billionaire hedge fund manager Jeffrey Epstein is dead. It was ruled a suicide. The late financier has been under intense scrutiny for his alleged activities concerning underage girls. He got a sweetheart deal from the government some ten years ago that was quite weak concerning the allegations lobbed against him. The reason, at the time, was the government didn’t think it had the evidence to convict. That plea deal was the subject of a multi-story series from The Miami Herald, which brought Epstein back into the limelight and under a new investigation. It led to his arrest and formal indictment for sex crimes, including the trafficking girls as young as 14. A search of his Manhattan residence unearthed a trove of incriminating evidence. He had tried to kill himself about two weeks prior and was taken off suicide watch hours before he successfully killed himself. Epstein had ties to some very powerful people, including President Trump, the Clintons, and member of the British Royal Family. Yet, the evidence retrieved from his home included cataloged tapes that reportedly have very high-profile individual on them. Are they blackmail tapes?

Given Epstein, his profile, his connections, the timing of his death, the events that led to it, and those who might have been palled around with him, there’s a reason for an inquiry into how this happened. Attorney General William Barr said he was “appalled” by the news of Epstein’s death while in federal custody. He’s already ordered the FBI and the DOJ inspector general to look into this matter (via The Hill):

Attorney General William Barr on Saturday decried the death of wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein in federal custody while he awaited charges on sex trafficking, saying the apparent suicide “raises serious questions.”

“I was appalled to learn that Jeffrey Epstein was found dead early this morning from an apparent suicide while in federal custody. Mr. Epstein’s death raises serious questions that must be answered,” Barr said in a statement.

“In addition to the FBI’s investigation, I have consulted with the Inspector General who is opening an investigation into the circumstances of Mr. Epstein’s death,” Barr added.
