Priest Publicly Wishes for Pope’s Quick Death

A Catholic priest from Poland is facing rebuke after calling Pope Francis a “foreign body” in the church and implying the Pope should pass away soon if his views on refugees and non-Christian beliefs don’t change.

“I pray for wisdom for the pope, for his heart to open up to the Holy Spirit. And if he does not do that, I pray for his quick departure to the House of the Father,” Father Edward Staniek said during a homily in Krakow last month, according to an English transcription of his words.

“I can always ask God for a happy death for him, because a happy death is a great grace,” he said . . .

“In the name of mercy, [Pope Francis] calls parishes and dioceses to open the door for the followers of Islam,” he said during his homily. “As a religion, they are hostile to the Gospel and the Church. They murdered millions in religious wars…We can show mercy to those Muslim believers who are dying of hunger or thirst. The doors of the diocese and the parish may be open only to believers in Jesus Christ.” (Read more from “Priest Publicly Wishes for Pope’s Quick Death” HERE)

University Police Use the ‘Library of Harm’ to Flag Students’ Words

It seems like not a day goes by, where law enforcement isn’t inventing new ways to spy on Americans.

According to a recent article in the Daily Progress, the University of Virginia Police Department is using a company called Social Sentinel (SS) to spy on college students and faculty Tweets, etc.

Legal experts say they’re concerned about privacy and creating a surveillance state, but police say the program is just one more tool in the race to stay on top of online threats and messages.

To mask the real purpose behind spying on students and faculty, university police are calling their new spying officer the “community service and crime prevention coordinator”.

Perhaps they should call what it really is, the social media spying coordinator.

How do police know which social media words to look for?

The answer is very disturbing.

“Library of Harm” flags keywords

SS uses a secret algorithm allegedly designed by their own experts that looks for keywords. According to SS, their secret algorithm called the “library of harm” will flag words like “shoot”, “kill” and “die.”

Police spying on everyone’s social media messages “looking for indicators of harm” – what could possibly go wrong?

Imagine a college student at a sporting event Tweeting something like this:

This game is the bomb, I could kill for a beer right now but Smith Jones couldn’t shoot a three pointer to save his life. If he hits a three point shot tonight, I think everyone here will die screaming.

Can you guess what happens to the student when the “community service and crime prevention coordinator” reads that?

A private corporation using “secret words” to flag people, SCREAMS police state.

No warrant needed to spy on students and faculty

What happens when a cop uses SS to spy on activists or uses it to spy on an attractive student?

Police don’t need a warrant to spy on innocent people’s social media accounts.

University police working with private corporations to spy on people’s social media without a warrant is a huge red flag.

This is yet another example of law enforcement using a private corporation to circumvent our Bill of Rights.

Who is the SS?

If you’re thinking that was a pun, you would be correct.

Founder and CEO Dr. Gary Margolis is a former cop, deputy sheriff and university police chief who works closely with DHS. He is also an invited guest of the Israeli government and collaborates with the Israel National Police and Israel Defense Forces.

What could possibly be wrong with a company with ties to DHS and Israel, secretly forwarding keywords to law enforcement?

Don’t forget students from K-12 and into college are also being given secret risk assessments.

America is sounding more and more like the Nazi Schutzstaffel or SS. (For more from the author of “University Police Use the ‘Library of Harm’ to Flag Students’ Words” please click HERE)

Benghazi Hero Unloads on McCabe, Comey for What They ‘Tried to Pin on Him’ and His Team

No matter who you are, you don’t want to get caught in the crosshairs of Benghazi hero Kris Paronto, an Army Ranger.

Paronto unleashed a fiery Twitter takedown of Obama-appointed Deep State agents Andrew McCabe, James Comey, and John Brennan. And they’re going to need some aloe to nurse those sick burns.

Paronto started off by blasting McCabe, who whined to the media that his firing was an attempt by the Trump White House to “slander” him and the entire FBI.

For the record, President Trump has repeatedly praised the rank-and-file members of the FBI as hard-working patriots. Trump’s issue is with top-level political appointees, most of whom are Obama holdovers that have been working nonstop to undermine his presidency.

Paronto tweeted: “Slander the @FBI and Law Enforcement?! You’ve got to be sh*tting me, Andy. You , James [Comey] and your @BarackObama appointed syndicate brought nothing but lies, politics, corruption & disgrace to a once great FBI.”

Lobbyist Claims He Was Nearly Killed by Man He Hired to Investigate Seth Rich Death

By The Daily Caller. A former Marine, who claims to have worked as a special agent with the Department of Energy, has been charged with shooting and running over Republican lobbyist Jack Burkman, who conducted a controversial investigation of former DNC staffer Seth Rich’s murder.

Kevin Doherty, 46, was charged Monday with Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony and two counts of Malicious Wounding, according to a press release from the Arlington, Va, Co. police department.

The Washington Post provided more details about the attack, which was the second to befall Burkman over the past several months. An unidentified assailant attacked Burkman with pepper spray at his home in January.

Burkman was shot and run over March 13 at a Rosslyn Marriott hotel’s parking garage. Burkman was there to retrieve what he thought were documents from an FBI whistleblower.

Doherty worked for Burkman on the Rich investigation until July 2017. Rich, a data analyst at the DNC, was murdered in Washington, D.C., on July 10, 2016, under mysterious circumstances. Doherty was an investigator on Burkman’s Profiling Project, the group he formed to solve the Rich case. Lobbyist Says He Was Nearly Killed by Man He Hired to Investigate Seth Rich’s Death

By The Washington Post. As conspiracy theories swirled around the murder of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich, lobbyist Jack Burkman took the unusual step of launching his own private investigation. A man with military and security experience stepped up to help.

Now Burkman alleges that man, Kevin Doherty, nearly killed him.

Burkman, a conservative lobbyist who has also raised money for Rick Gates, a former Trump campaign official who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, and protested gay athletes in the NFL, is used to controversy. But Doherty’s arrest Saturday by Arlington County police on charges of malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony caps a saga stranger than Burkman’s own conspiracy theories . . .

Doherty briefly worked for Burkman’s Profiling Project, which was formed to build a psychological portrait of Rich’s likely killer. While police have concluded Rich was likely shot during a random robbery, many conservatives have claimed he was killed as part of a political conspiracy. Burkman offered a six-figure reward for information on the shooting. (Read more from “Lobbyist Says He Was Nearly Killed by Man He Hired to Investigate Seth Rich’s Death” HERE)

Surprise! A ‘Good Guy With a Gun’ STOPS School Shooting

By WND. It’s another prime example of how a good guy with a gun can save dozens of innocent lives when under attack by a madman hellbent on mass murder.

A student gunman at Great Mills High School in Southern Maryland tore through the campus at 8 a.m. Tuesday, shooting and injuring two students . . .

But an armed school resource officer, Blaine Gaskill, wasn’t about to stand down or wait for backup.

He was determined to save innocent young lives. So Gaskill wasted no time in pursuing attacker Austin Wyatt Rollins, 17, who was armed with a Glock handgun.

Gaskill fired a round at the gunman and quickly neutralized the threat. (Read more from “Surprise! A ‘Good Guy With a Gun’ STOPS School Shooting” HERE)

Maryland School Officer Stops Armed Student Who Shot 2 Others

By CNN. A 17-year-old male student shot two other students at Great Mills High School in Maryland on Tuesday morning before a school resource officer engaged him and stopped the threat, authorities said. . .

School resource officer Blaine Gaskill responded to the scene in less than a minute, the sheriff said. Gaskill fired a round at the shooter, and the shooter fired a round simultaneously, Cameron said.

Rollins was later pronounced dead. Gaskill was unharmed. The 16-year-old female student is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, and the 14-year-old male student who was shot is in stable condition.

Cameron said he was not sure whether Gaskill’s bullet hit the suspect, but he praised the officer’s quick response to the situation. (Read more from “Maryland School Officer Stops Armed Student Who Shot 2 Others” HERE)

REPORT: The Reason Democrats Are Trying to Hire Ousted FBI Official McCabe

By The Daily Wire. On Monday, a newly-released report claimed that multiple Democrats are trying to hire ousted FBI official Andrew McCabe in an attempt to help him get his pension after he was fired two days before being able to collect it.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired McCabe on Friday, saying, “The F.B.I. expects every employee to adhere to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and accountability. I have terminated the employment of Andrew McCabe effective immediately.”

The idea that a politician should hire McCabe came from MSNBC’s far-left political activist Andrea Mitchell, who tweeted: “One suggestion from a McCabe supporter: if a friendly member of Congress hired him for a week he could possibly qualify for pension benefits by extending his service the extra days.”

Ousted FBI Official McCabe Offered Jobs by Dem Lawmakers So He Can Get Full Pension

By Fox News. A growing number of Democratic lawmakers are offering temporary jobs to ousted FBI official Andrew McCabe in an attempt to help him secure a full government pension after Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired him just two days shy of his retirement.

It’s not clear if the Democratic offers could even work or be accepted by McCabe. Asked by Fox News about the possibility, a source close to McCabe would only say the former FBI deputy director is “looking at all options.” . . .

McCabe was fired just days before he would have been eligible for a lifetime pension, meaning those benefits could now be in jeopardy — something Democrats are trying to prevent.

Sessions said the DOJ’s inspector general determined McCabe was not truthful during his review of the Clinton email investigation and the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility recommended his firing.

Since then, at least four Democratic lawmakers have publicly offered jobs in their congressional offices.

New Report Describing Events Leading up to Parkland Shooting Blows up Gun Control Argument

By Luis Miguel. Disgraced former Broward Sheriff’s deputy Scot Peterson is embroiled in further questions about his handling of last month’s school shooting.

Documents obtained by the Associated Press show that Peterson and two school counselors recommended in September 2016 that shooter Nikolas Cruz be involuntarily committed for mental evaluation. Had Peterson followed through, Cruz would likely have been unable to legally purchase firearms.

The documents, provided by Henderson Behavioral Health as part of Cruz’s case, were part of a psychological assessment that began after Cruz’s since-deceased mother, Lynda, discovered that he had punched holes in the wall at home . . .

The report of a September 28, 2016 interview read that Cruz “cut his arms 3-4 weeks ago and states that this is the only time he has ever cut. (Cruz) states that he cut because he was lonely, states that he had broken up with his girlfriend and reports that his grades had fallen. (Cruz) states that he is better now, reports that he is no longer lonely and states that his grades have gone back up.” . . .

If Cruz had been institutionalized, it would have appeared on his record and constituted a major red flag at the moment of trying to buy a gun. (Read more from “New Report Describing Events Leading up to Parkland Shooting Blows up Gun Control Argument” HERE)

Zachary Cruz, Parkland Massacre Suspect’s Brother, Arrested for Trespassing at School

By Fox News. Zachary Cruz, the brother of the suspect who killed 17 people on Feb. 14 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, was arrested Monday for trespassing on the school’s property.

Cruz, 18, “unlawfully entered the school grounds” around 4:50 p.m. on Monday, according to a report from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said that despite warnings not to enter the Stoneman Douglas campus, Cruz went through locked doors and gates and rode his skateboard throughout the property — all of which was captured on security footage.

Cruz, according to the arrest report, wanted to “Reflect on the school shooting and to soak it in.” He was charged with trespassing. (Read more from “Zachary Cruz, Parkland Massacre Suspect’s Brother, Arrested for Trespassing at School” HERE)

Rod Rosenstein Submitted False Documents to Senate Concerning His Interrogation of Hillary Clinton

By Patrick Howley. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein gave a resume to the Senate Judiciary Committee for his confirmation to be Deputy Attorney General. In that resume, provided under oath, he falsely stated the dates at which he worked for Ken Starr’s investigative legal team.

Rosenstein testified to the Senate that he worked on Starr’s team beginning in 1995 and ending in 1997. Rosenstein said that he began working at the U.S. Attorney’s office in Maryland for the Clinton administration in the year 1997. However, records show that Rosenstein interviewed Hillary Clinton for Ken Starr in the Whitewater case on January 14, 1998.

Rosenstein’s official interview with Hillary Clinton lasted fifteen minutes and cleared her of charges stemming from the seizing of FBI documents on the former Clinton White House travel director.

Big problem: That official interview took place outside of the time period in which Rosenstein told the Senate he worked for Kenneth Starr’s team.

An Associated Press wire report on January 14, 1998 lists Rod Rosenstein as one of two “Whitewater prosecutors” present at Hillary Clinton’s interview on the FBI Travel Office scandal. Rosenstein was in charge of the “FBI Travel Office case,” in which it was alleged that the Bill Clinton White House seized FBI file documents on “former White House employees.” Rosenstein swept the matter under the rug, according to insiders, and then obscured any record of it on his Senate questionnaire to be Deputy Attorney General. Trump Lawyer Calls for Rosenstein to Shut Down Mueller Probe

By The Hill.
President Trump’s personal attorney on Saturday called on Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to shut down special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump campaign associates’ ties to Russia.

Trump lawyer John Dowd issued the call to “bring an end” the federal probe a day after Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, prompting firm pushback from Democrats.

“I pray that Acting Attorney General Rosenstein will follow the brilliant and courageous example of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility and Attorney General Jeff Sessions and bring an end to alleged Russia Collusion investigation manufactured by McCabe’s boss James Comey based upon a fraudulent and corrupt Dossier,” Dowd said in a statement obtained by The Hill.

“Just end it on the merits in light of recent revelations,” he added.

Dowd had initially told The Daily Beast, which first reported his statement, that he was speaking as Trump’s counsel, but the lawyer later said he was speaking in a personal capacity. A clarification from Dowd was communicated to The Hill by another member of the president’s legal team. (Read more from “Trump Lawyer Calls for Rosenstein to Shut Down Mueller Probe” HERE)

‘Muslim Mafia’ Condemns Trump CIA Pick as ‘Torturer’

Muslim leaders in the United States – including the head of a chapter of an organization named a co-conspirator in a terror-funding plot – are condemning President Trump for his nomination of Gina Haspel as CIA director, contending she’s unqualified because of her participation in “enhanced interrogation techniques” against al-Qaida suspects after the 9/11 attacks.

Haspel was the overseer of a so-called CIA “black site” in 2002 in Thailand, where investigators successfully obtained intelligence from terrorist suspects to prevent further attacks.

The executive director of the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations described Haspel as a “torturer,” reported the website Middle East Eye . . .

CAIR was named by the Justice Department as an unindicted co-conspirator in a plot to fund the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas and was designated a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates, along with groups such as ISIS and al-Qaida.

While CAIR regards itself as a civil-rights organization, according to evidence entered in the terror-financing case, it was founded by figures associated with Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, the worldwide movement that has stated its intent to transform the U.S. into an Islamic state. More than a dozen CAIR leaders have been charged or convicted of terrorism-related crimes. (Read more from “‘Muslim Mafia’ Condemns Trump CIA Pick as ‘Torturer'” HERE)

It Begins: Police Now Confiscating Guns From People With No Due Process

In what’s being called the first gun confiscation of its kind in Florida, police have taken four guns and a couple hundred rounds of ammunition from a 56-year-old Lighthouse Point man. The man was not tried, had not committed a crime, and the guns were solely removed because “experts” deemed him a threat.

The guns and ammunition have been temporarily removed from the man under the state’s new “risk protection” law, which is also sometimes called “red flag” legislation, Lighthouse Point City Attorney Michael Cirullo confirmed, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

“We know it’s the first case of its kind in Broward County and we think it’s the first one in Florida, under the new law,” Cirullo said. “Up until the introduction of this law last week, there was no process for us to protect the public in this kind of situation.”

In Florida, prior to passing the new gun control law, people deemed psychologically unfit could be involuntarily hospitalized under what is called the Baker Act. During this involuntary admission to a hospital, the person is evaluated to determine if they are a risk to themselves or others.

Only after they had been psychologically evaluated and deemed a threat could the government then move in to temporarily disarm them. Now, however, this tiny bit of due process is no longer necessary and “experts” can simply deem someone a threat and take their guns.

Although the 56-year-old man was subsequently Baker Act-ed, his guns were taken before this happened.

To illustrate the insidious nature of Florida’s new bill and its rights-violating implications, prior to the new legislation, if police would have done what they did to this 56-year-old man—taken his guns with no due process—they would be fired and fined up to $5,000.

It is important to note that this man was certainly acting strangely and, according to the Sun-Sentinel, he told officers he “was being targeted and burglarized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a neighbor who lives in (his) building,” the judge wrote in his order. “(He) could not describe the neighbor but stated that the neighbor ‘shape shift, he can change heights and I’m not sure where he comes from’ and ‘to be honest, he looks like Osama Bin Laden.’”

He also turned off all of his power to the apartment he lived in. By all means, he was acting very strangely. However, he still deserved due process.

It will now be up to the man to prove that he is healthy enough to ever be able to get his guns back again.

To be clear, no one here is advocating for people determined to be mentally unfit to be able to possess firearms. However, they need to be determined to be mentally unfit before they lose their rights.

This law was a reaction to the shooting in Parkland, however, it is important to point out that there were already laws on the books that should’ve stopped Nikolas Cruz from ever getting a gun. Citing Cruz as the reason for advocating the removal of due process, the anti-gun activists are claiming he should’ve had his guns taken which would have prevented the tragedy. Sadly, however, they are ignoring the fact that he was accused of multiple felonies—and should’ve never been able to purchase a gun in the first place—but law enforcement failed to act on any of it.

In Florida, if a person making death threats intends for the victim to fear for her safety, specifically fearful of death or bodily harm, it is considered a credible threat under the law, which changes the crime from stalking, a first-degree misdemeanor, to aggravated stalking, a felony of the third degree. Cruz was reported at least 4 times for this very crime before he bought his AR-15 and police did nothing.

Florida’s law also mirrors another due process-removing law that was recently used in Washington state to remove a man’s guns.

As TFTP reported earlier this month, there is a law on the books known as the Extreme Risk Protection Order or ERPO, which went into effect in June of 2017. This law is used when a person is considered an “extreme” threat as reported by police and family members. An ERPO must be approved by a judge and only after this person is proven to be a danger to themselves or others can police move in to confiscate their weapons.

“We now have to go to someone’s house and knock on the door and say, ‘We’re from the government. Can we have your guns?’” Seattle police Sgt. Eric Pisconski told KIRO Radio’s Dave Ross. “That can get very dangerous.”

While touted as a necessary tool for police, an ERPO and Florida’s new law both remove due process as the person who is accused of being mentally unstable does not have to be present and gets no chance of facing their accuser.

To those who may be in favor of such laws, consider the following: There is no way to stop an estranged spouse from call police repeatedly and telling them their ex is threatening to cause harm to others. While the man in Florida had his guns taken for being psychologically unfit, the man in Seattle simply open-carried a pistol and looked out of windows and his guns were taken because his neighbors thought it was strange.

Anyone, any time, now has the ability to claim someone else is a threat and have police take their guns. One does not need to delve into the multiple ‘what if’ scenarios to see what sort of ominous implications arise from such a practice. What’s more, police now have the power to deem you a threat at any time and legally disarm you—due process be damned.

This is the exact scenario that Donald Trump advocated for in February. Last month, notorious gun-grabber Senator Dianne Feinstein, sat next to Donald Trump and likely salivated over his remarks as he called for the removal of due process and to “take the guns first.” Now, police are doing just that.

To those that support the removal of due process under the ostensible notion that it would make you safer, you would do well to remember history before you or someone you know finds yourself subject to these very laws.
