The Swamp Drains the Trump Presidency, Confirms We Are No Longer Citizens of a Republic, but Subjects of an Oligarchy

Thirty states elected Donald Trump President, voters from a district in Maine to Arizona, from Florida to Idaho, representing a broad swath of America.

Yet, when it came to populating his administration, the President “rounded up the usual suspects,” choosing people mainly from New York City or those who live within twenty miles of the Beltway, areas that voted for Hillary Clinton – not to mention the scores of Obama appointees who remain embedded in high level positions.

With the forced departure of Stephen K. Bannon from the Trump Administration, it is clear that a Presidential election can be reversed by the left-wing media collaborating with a hopelessly corrupt political establishment, better known collectively as the Deep State.

The Deep State quickly recognized that the 2016 election was not simply a contest between the Democrat and Republican ideologies, but a battle between the entrenched power of a political ruling class and the desire of the American people for genuine representative government.

When they could not stop the election of Donald Trump, the Deep State planned to thwart the implementation of an America First agenda by dismantling it issue by issue and replacing Trump supporters with Deep State operatives.

The character assassination of opponents conducted by the Deep State through its media mouth-pieces follows a familiar pattern. Denounce that individual either directly or by innuendo of being one or more of the following popular epithets; a Nazi, a racist, an Islamophobe, a Russian stooge, professionally incompetent or being some type of political extremist. After labelling, the media then repeatedly claim that the targeted individual is “isolated” and that his or her position in the administration is “uncertain.”

Sebastian Gorka is next on their list. You only need to read the media headlines, which began immediately after Bannon’s departure, for example, “Seb Gorka’s Fate ‘Extremely Uncertain’ as His Boss Bannon Is Ousted,” an article which noted Gorka’s “involvement with a far-right Hungarian group notorious for its collaboration with the Nazi regime during World War II.”

The Deep State knows full well that it is an effective tactic in Washington, D.C., where politicians maintain a continuous search for scapegoats when their policies, as they often do, fail.

Bannon is correct in noting:

“The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over. We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency. But that presidency is over. It’ll be something else. And there’ll be all kinds of fights, and there’ll be good days and bad days, but that presidency is over.”

That “something else” is business as usual, political expediency and crony capitalism.

Sadly, Trump supporters may have to start looking elsewhere than the Trump Administration for people to champion their views because those administration champions are rapidly diminishing in number. I can’t say where that elsewhere is, but I know where it isn’t.

The Democrat Party and its propaganda machine, the mainstream media, have adopted an Islamo-Marxist agenda to undermine the United States as a Judeo-Christian-based democracy, to erase our history, our Constitution, our culture, our traditions, all of what “America” has come to mean.

The Republican Party is dominated by globalists, obsessed with the acquisition of personal power and profit, uninterested and unwilling to defend the rights, liberties and security of American citizens. The GOP leadership has solidified its choice to no longer represent what had been its constituency, but to adopt the identity of junior partners in the ruling class, subservient to lobbyists and their international financial overlords.

The challenge that gave rise to the Trump candidacy remains.

We are no longer citizens of a republic, but subjects of an elected aristocracy, composed of a self-absorbed permanent political class, which serves the interests of international financiers at the expense of the American people. They maintain their authority by an ever-expanding and increasingly intrusive government and use a compliant media to manipulate public opinion in order to maintain the illusion of democracy, while controlling elections or their outcomes.

There is indeed still a winning coalition in America; one which, it was hoped, Trump represented; one inclusive of all Americans; one for all those who believe in a simple proposition – honest, representative and effective government. New Law Lets Police Confiscate Guns ‘Without Due Process’ If Someone Reports You

A new law in Oregon could lead to residents having all of their guns confiscated based on a single complaint, raising concerns about the possibility of corruption if false complaints are used to strip law-abiding citizens of their right to defend themselves.

Senate Bill 719, which is defined as one that “Creates process for obtaining extreme risk protection order prohibiting person from possessing deadly weapon when court finds that person presents risk in near future, including imminent risk, of suicide or causing injury to another person” was signed into law by Democratic Gov. Kate Brown on Wednesday.

The confiscation of an individual’s firearms can be pursued through the filing of an “Extreme Risk Protection Order,” which is submitted to a judge in civil court by a police officer or a concerned family or household member.

“Requires court to order respondent to surrender deadly weapons and concealed handgun license within 24 hours of service of initial order, and immediately upon service of continued or renewed order. Provides for law enforcement officer serving order to request immediate surrender of deadly weapons and concealed handgun license and authorizes law enforcement officer to take possession of surrendered items.”

During the legislative process, Brown expressed her support for the bill, calling it “a common-sense, life-saving bill that will help protect Oregon’s women and children by closing the ‘Boyfriend Loophole,’ preventing convicted stalkers from buying or possessing guns, and keeping guns out of the wrong hands.”

The bill passed in the Oregon State Senate by a vote of 17-11 in May, and in the House by a vote of 31-20 in July, before it reached Brown’s desk in August. Once it goes into effect, if an Extreme Risk Protection Order is granted by a judge, the resident in question could legally lose his or her right to possess or purchase firearms or ammo for one year.

While suspects have 30 days to request a hearing in an attempt to regain possession of their seized firearms once an order has been issued, and while individuals who file fake protection orders could face up to one year in prison, gun rights advocates still are not convinced that this new law will eradicate gun violence, even in domestic situations.

In a statement, the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action argued that Extreme Risk Protection Orders “could be obtained by a law enforcement officer, family member, or household member in an ex parte hearing to deprive someone of their Second Amendment rights without due process of the law.”

By allowing a law enforcement officer, family member, or household member to seek the ERPO, SB 719A would allow people who are not mental health professionals, who may be mistaken, and who may only have minimal contact with the respondent to file a petition with the court and testify on the respondent’s state of mind. This ex parte order, which strips the accused of their Second Amendment rights, would be issued by a judge based on the brief statement of the petitioner. The accused would not be afforded the chance to appear in court to defend themselves against the allegations when the ERPO is issued. These orders may be issued without any allegations of criminal behavior.

The new law in Oregon was inspired by a law that went into effect in California in January 2016. Assembly Bill No. 1014 authorized “gun violence restraining orders” which allowed law enforcement to seize the firearms of an individual if a judge “finds that there is reasonable cause to believe that the subject of the petition poses an immediate and present danger of causing personal injury to himself, herself, or another by having in his or her custody or control, owning, purchasing, possessing, or receiving a firearm.”

While there are a number of problems with the new trend of gun confiscation laws, one of the most glaring issues is that a “protection order” can be filed by a police officer who has had minimal contact with the suspect in question, and if it is granted by the judge, the suspect will have his or her firearms confiscated immediately, and the only way to return them is to go through a lengthy court process—eliminating one of the most basic principles of due process. CIA Mind Control Efforts Not So Far-Fetched: Mainstream Science Now Confirms Ability to Remotely Implant, Delete Specific Memories, Alter Thinking

Years of research on mice proves that scientists can weaken or strengthen particular memories from the brain or outright delete inherited memories, the Guardian reported.

Scientists hope that the new discovery could potentially be used to help those with cognitive decline or post-traumatic stress disorder by removing fearful memories.

“We can use the same approach to selectively manipulate only the pathological fear memory while preserving all other adaptive fear memories which are necessary for our daily lives,” Jun-Hyeong Cho, co-author of the research from the University of California said.

The researchers used those mice to examine the pathways between the amygdala area of the brain responsible for emotional memories and the area that produces particular sounds. They played a series of low- and high-pitched tones that shocked the mice’s feet with electrodes on the high-pitched sounds.

“These mice are special in that we can label or tag specific pathways that convey certain signals to the amygdala, so that we can identify which pathways are really modified as the mice learn to fear a particular sound,” Cho said. “It is like a bundle of phone lines,” he added. “Each phone line conveys certain auditory information to the amygdala.”

The team then discovered it was possible to completely erase fearful or unwanted memories using a technique called optogenetics, while medication has been used for this purpose to remove the negative associations of some memories.

This technique involves using a virus to introduce genes into particular neurons in the brains of the mice that were involved in the “high-pitch” pathways.

Once the virus was inside the cells, the genes resulted in the production of proteins which responded to light, allowing researchers to control the activity of the neurons.

Taking mice with the fearful memories, the team exposed the neurons involved in the “high-pitch” pathway to low-frequency light – an approach which weakens the connections between the brain’s neuron transmitters.

“It permanently erases the fear memory,” Cho said. “We no longer see the relapse of fear.”

‘The fact that you can parcel out these memories and manipulate them in a predictable fashion is remarkable,’ Sumantra Chattarji, an expert on memory at the National Centre for Biological Sciences in Bangalore, India told New Scientist.

In another study from 2015, MIT scientist found that in animals that developed PTSD symptoms following chronic stress and a traumatic event, serotonin promoted the process of memory consolidation. When the researchers blocked the amygdala cells’ interactions with serotonin after trauma, the stressed animals did not develop PTSD symptoms, while blocking serotonin in unstressed animals after trauma had no effect.

Then earlier this year scientist from MIT and a team in Japan discovered how memories were formed simultaneously in the hippocampus and the cortex by watching how memories responded to an electric shock. In other words, one is for the present short-term and the second is for the long-term.

Scientists have also discovered that generations pass on memories to each other.

None of this is new, this is the overt or clear world scientists catching up with the black-budget scientists in bases like s4.

There was a series of CIA mind control programs including BLUEBIRD, ARTICHOKE, MKULTRA, MKSEARCH and MKNAOMI during the ’50s to ’90s. The CIA sought to blank-slate test subjects wiping memories through drugs, electric shock, high-pitched sound and other torture techniques.

Dr. Ewen Cameron was partially backed by the CIA during project MKULTRA and used electrodes to zap the memories from his unwitting patients’ brains during the 1950s. This method of torture was called “psychic driving.”

After horrendous electric shocks, drugs were given to the test subjects to put them into days of prolonged delirious sleep. Cameron would then subject them to audio tapes he made, in which he repeated certain phrases thousands of times, with the hope of producing new personalities within them.

A 2012 lawsuit filed by veterans’ groups, against the CIA and the DOD, refers to Cameron’s methods. The suit also states that two researchers, Dr. Louis West and Dr. Jose Delgado, working together under the early CIA MKULTRA subproject 95, utilized two protocols: brain implants (“stimoceivers”) and RHIC-EDOM (Radio Hypnotic Intracerebral Control-Electronic Dissolution of Memory) to program the minds of victims.

Translation: they sought to bury memories, and implant false memories that never happened.

The CIA ultimately found that stress and sleep deprivation can make people more susceptible to false memories as have other researchers.

Neuroscientists in France implanted false memories into the brains of sleeping mice in 2015. Using electrodes to directly stimulate and record the activity of nerve cells, they created artificial associative memories that persisted while the animals snoozed and then influenced their behavior when they finally woke up. MIT scientist also achieved the same result using mice in a similar experiment prior in 2013.

Meanwhile, Japanese researchers have developed a trick to implant false visions into people’s brains, altering the way they experience the world and potentially even the way they think.

The gap is decreasing from what covert science knows and what overt science knows – or the clear world and the black-budget world of military intelligence minds. Scientists: Supervolcano Risks High, Would Guarantee Mass Starvation, Worldwide; But NASA Has ‘Solution’

Government officials have been closely monitoring the activity in the Yellowstone caldera. However, scientists at NASA have now come up with an incredibly risky plan to save the United States from the supervolcano.

A NASA scientist has spoken out about the true threat of super volcanoes and the risky methods that could be used to prevent a devastating eruption. Lying beneath the tranquil and beautiful settings of Yellowstone National Park in the US lies an enormous magma chamber, called a caldera. It’s responsible for the geysers and hot springs that define the area, but for scientists at NASA, it’s also one of the greatest natural threats to human civilization as we know it.

Brian Wilcox, a former member of the NASA Advisory Council on Planetary Defense, shared a report on the natural hazard that hadn’t been seen outside of the agency until now. Following an article published by BBC about super volcanoes last month, a group of NASA researchers got in touch with the media to share a report previously unseen outside the space agency about the threat Yellowstone poses, and what they hypothesize could possibly be done about it.

“I was a member of the NASA Advisory Council on Planetary Defense which studied ways for NASA to defend the planet from asteroids and comets,” explains Brian Wilcox of Nasa’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) at the California Institute of Technology. “I came to the conclusion during that study that the supervolcano threat is substantially greater than the asteroid or comet threat.”

Yellowstone currently leaks about 60 to 70 percent of its heat into the atmosphere through stream water which seeps into the magma chamber through cracks, while the rest of the heat builds up as magma and dissolves into volatile gasses. The heat and pressure will reach the threshold, meaning an explosion is inevitable. When NASA scientists considered the fact that a supervolcano’s eruption would plunge the earth into a volcanic winter, destroying most sources of food, starvation would then become a real possibility. Food reserves would only last about 74 days, according to the UN, after an eruption of a supervolcano, like that under Yellowstone. And they have devised a risky plan that could end up blowing up in their faces. Literally.

Wilcox hypothesized that if enough heat was removed, and the temperature of the supervolcano dropped, it would never erupt. But he wants to see a 35% decrease in temperature, and how to achieve that is incredibly risky. One possibility is to simply increase the amount of water in the supervolcano. As it turns to steam, the water would release the heat into the atmosphere, making global warming alarmists tremble.

“Building a big aqueduct uphill into a mountainous region would be both costly and difficult, and people don’t want their water spent that way,” Wilcox says. “People are desperate for water all over the world and so a major infrastructure project, where the only way the water is used is to cool down a supervolcano, would be very controversial.”

So, NASA came up with an alternative plan. They believe the most viable solution could be to drill up to 10km down into the supervolcano and pump down water at high pressure. The circulating water would return at a temperature of around 350C (662F), thus slowly day by day extracting heat from the volcano. And while such a project would come at an estimated cost of around $3.46 billion, it comes with an enticing catch which could convince politicians (taxpayers) to make the investment.

“Yellowstone currently leaks around 6GW in heat,” Wilcox says. “Through drilling in this way, it could be used to create a geothermal plant, which generates electric power at extremely competitive prices of around $0.10/kWh. You would have to give the geothermal companies incentives to drill somewhat deeper and use hotter water than they usually would, but you would pay back your initial investment, and get electricity which can power the surrounding area for a period of potentially tens of thousands of years. And the long-term benefit is that you prevent a future supervolcano eruption which would devastate humanity.”

Of course, drilling into a supervolcano comes with its own risks, like the eruption that scientists are desperate to prevent. Triggering an eruption by drilling would be disastrous.

“The most important thing with this is to do no harm,” Wilcox says. “If you drill into the top of the magma chamber and try and cool it from there, this would be very risky. This could make the cap over the magma chamber more brittle and prone to fracture. And you might trigger the release of harmful volatile gases in the magma at the top of the chamber which would otherwise not be released.”

The cooling of Yellowstone in this manner would also take tens of thousands of years, but it is a plan that scientists at NASA are considering for every supervolcano on earth. Time to Relieve Pacific Command? Another US Destroyer in Collision, This One Much Further South Than Reported, Near Disputed Chinese Base

By Bernard Betancourt. On Sunday August 20th at approximately 6:24 A.M. Japan time, the Liberian Flagged MV Alnic MC (Alnic) collided with the USS John McCain. Initial assessments from the Pacific Command are that the Alnic’s bow, its forward-most section, hit the USS McCain’s aft port side (left side near the back end of the ship) approximately 150 miles east from the Straights of Malacca, and about 100 miles from shore (based on data from marinetraffic.com). The collision occurred in the morning, at or near sunrise under partly cloudy skies and minimal sea conditions.

There are numerous issues that will require thorough investigation, but what’s obvious now is that accident occurred in open waters. And importantly, the USS McCain was much further south than the initial headline-grabbing naval operations originally stated. In fact, the collision occurred near the disputed South China Sea Islands where China has already built one base. Also nearby is Mischief Reef, about 100 miles from the coast of the Philippines. This location is where a new base is currently under consideration for construction by the Chinese.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

In this situation let’s begin with the ugly. Ten US sailors are missing, and five are injured. That alone should be cause for pause. If the issue of strict maritime law plays out, right-of-way is going to be a major factor in determining fault and for the most part all parties will be held responsible in one way or another. Plus, one could ask why the USS McCain was that far south to begin with when their supposed operations were well to the northeast of the collision.

There really is no good news, but at least it appears at first blush that the USS McCain was likely not at fault. Based upon the Collision Regulations and the subsection on “Rules of the Road,” it appears the Liberian-flagged ship is likely to blame. But again, nothing can spin a real positive in the face of multiple US casualties.

Here’s the really bad news: US warships are designed to emit a minimal radar signature in order to evade radar detection. Additionally, a grey colored ship can be difficult to spot under certain weather conditions. They also typically operate with minimal running lights, which can be an issue when close encounters happen. The USS McCain just like the USS Fitzgerald collision two months ago was the far more maneuverable vessel. When the investigation occurs, this will likely be taken into account. An oil tanker is in a difficult situation, especially in a crossing situation. This scenario can get the USS McCain crew into hot water.

With the McCain collision unfolding just two months after the USS Fitzgerald Collision with the MV ACX Crystal, scrutiny needs to be applied to the upper echelons of US Pacific Command. Substandard training may be part of the problem, as one active-duty Navy officer expressed concern to Fox News over the training of young Navy officers aboard ships: “It’s not the same level of training you used to get.”

Incredibly, the McCain collision marks the fourth mishap for U.S. Navy ships in the Pacific since February. Aside from the USS McCain and USS Fitzgerald incidents, the Navy cruiser USS Antietam ran aground dumping over 1,000 gallons of oil in Tokyo Bay in February. In May, another cruiser, USS Lake Champlain, hit a South Korean fishing vessel. At minimum, Trump should seriously consider a change of command for the Pacific Fleet.

Pacific Command: Destroyer Sailing Under its Own Power

By Ryan Pickrell. The USS John McCain sustained damage after colliding with a merchant vessel Monday, according to the U.S. 7th Fleet public affairs office.

The American Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer was involved in a collision with the Alnic MC, an oil tanker several times larger than the U.S. naval vessel, while operating east of Singapore, near the Strait of Malacca. Initial reports indicate that the ship suffered damage to its port side. Search and rescue operations are underway. “Our first priority is determining the safety of the ship and crew. As more information is learned, we will share it,” Admiral John Richardson, chief of naval operations, said on Twitter.

The ship is sailing under its own power back to port while crew members fight flooding in multiple compartments, a possible sign that a decent-sized hole may have been punched in the ship’s hull. The Singaporean navy and coast guard are assisting U.S. naval vessels and aircraft with search and rescue. The extent of the damage is unclear at this time, but the Navy assesses that 10 sailors are missing and five are injured. Breitbart Goes After Ivanka and McMaster After Trump Gives Site His Blessing

President Donald Trump tweeted Saturday that Steve Bannon’s return to Breitbart after his departure from the White House will provide competition to the “fake news.” Breitbart then went on to attack Ivanka Trump and National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster.

Trump’s daughter and McMaster have been the focus of “hit pieces” from Breitbart before. However, Bannon is now explicitly in charge of the site putting these attacks in a different light. Breitbart’s White House correspondent Charlie Spiering tweeted Friday that Bannon is serving again as the site’s executive chairman and oversaw Friday’s editorial meeting . . .

The first [story they posted] earlier in the day was “Report: Powerful GOP Donor Sheldon Adelson Supports Campaign to Oust McMaster.” This article detailed how major Republican donor Sheldon Adelson reportedly is supporting a campaign against McMaster that claims the national security adviser is anti-Israel.

Later in the day, the lead story on the site was “McMaster Of Disguise: Nat’l Security Adviser Endorsed Book That Advocates Quran-Kissing Apology Ceremonies.” This piece from frequent McMaster critic Aaron Klein said that McMaster endorsed a book that “calls on the U.S. military to respond to any ‘desecrations’ of the Quran by service members with an apology ceremony, and advocates kissing a new copy of the Quran before presenting the Islamic text to the local Muslim public.”

The site also published two articles Sunday critical of Ivanka. One of them is an aggregate of a Daily Mail report that claimed Ivanka helped push Bannon out of the White House. Shortly after the story was published, the article received an update that said a White House senior aide stated the Daily Mail report is “totally false.” (Read more from “Breitbart Goes After Ivanka and McMaster After Trump Gives Site His Blessing” HERE)

IT Staffers Sold Sensitive Data to Foreign Intelligence?

Federal authorities are investigating whether sensitive data was stolen from congressional offices by several Pakistani-American tech staffers and sold to Pakistani or Russian intelligence, knowledgeable sources say.

What started out 16 months ago as a scandal involving the alleged theft of computer equipment from Congress has turned into a national-security investigation involving FBI surveillance of the suspects.

Investigators now suspect that sensitive US government data — possibly including classified information — could have been compromised and may have been sold to hostile foreign governments that could use it to blackmail members of Congress or even put their lives at risk. Riot Alert: U.S. To Brace for ‘Messy’ Unrest

As colleges and universities prepare for the return of students in the coming weeks, one of the few administrators willing to criticize the tidal wave of intellectual intolerance on campus is expecting “a mess” when the new semester dawns.

Oklahoma Wesleyan University President Dr. Everett Piper gained tremendous notoriety in 2015 when he wrote an opinion column decrying universities for coddling student demands for safe spaces and the eradication of ideas that don’t mesh with the orthodoxy of political correctness. In that column, he famously declared that a college is not a daycare.

He is now author of “Not A Day Care: The Devastating Consequences of Abandoning Truth.” Piper said America needs to brace for more campus unrest.

“Oh, it’s going to be a mess,” Piper told WND and Radio America. “You will see protests. You will see riots. You will see the results of teaching victimization and vice for decades. When you teach victimization, you don’t get anything but vengeance and violence.

“The only thing that rescues us from this vicious cycle is to start teaching virtue. Virtue is selfless. Victimization is selfish.” (Read more from “Riot Alert: U.S. To Brace for ‘Messy’ Unrest” HERE)

Steve Bannon at War: ‘The Trump Presidency . . . Is Over’

By Harriet Alexander, David Millward and Barney Henderson. “The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over,” [Bannon] told the Weekly Standard, a right-wing newspaper “We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency,” he continued.

“But that presidency is over. It’ll be something else. And there’ll be all kinds of fights, and there’ll be good days and bad days, but that presidency is over.”

He added: “I feel jacked up. Now I’ve got my hands back on my weapons,” he added as he vowed “Bannon the barbarian” would crush the opposition.

“There’s no doubt. I built a —–ng machine at Breitbart. And now I’m about to go back, knowing what I know, and we’re about to rev that machine up. And rev it up we will do”. . .

Joel Pollack, Breitbart’s editor at large, tweeted a one-word response to Mr Bannon’s departure: “War”. (Read more from “Steve Bannon at War: ‘The Trump Presidence . . . Is Over'” HERE)

Steve Bannon: ‘I’m Leaving the White House and Going to War’

By Alex Pappas. Steve Bannon is on his way out at the White House – but the fiery, anti-establishment conservative who helped Donald Trump win the presidency says he getting ready to wage his populist campaign from the outside.

“If there’s any confusion out there, let me clear it up: I’m leaving the White House and going to war for Trump against his opponents — on Capitol Hill, in the media, and in corporate America,” Bannon told Bloomberg on Friday.

The outgoing White House chief strategist spent just over a year formally working for the president. On Friday, his job with Trump came to an end.

“White House Chief of Staff John Kelly and Steve Bannon have mutually agreed today would be Steve’s last day,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said. “We are grateful for his service and wish him the best.”

Breitbart announced Friday that Bannon returned as executive chairman of the populist news site he once ran that rails against the political establishment in both parties. He chaired its evening editorial meeting Friday, the site said. (Read more from “Steve Bannon: ‘I’m Leaving the White House and Going to War'” HERE)

Purge Begins: Cloudflare Terminates Service to Cody Wilson’s GhostGunner Website

A day after Cloudflare removed service to the Daily Stormer, it has now terminated service to Cody Wilson’s website GhostGunner.net, Wilson announced on Twitter:

Yesterday the Electronic Frontier Foundation warned that this behavior to remove offensive speech is a dangerous path for technology companies to go down.

EFF lawyers wrote:

In the wake of Charlottesville, both GoDaddy and Google have refused to manage the domain registration for the Daily Stormer, a neo-Nazi website that, in the words of the Southern Poverty Law Center, is “dedicated to spreading anti-Semitism, neo-Nazism, and white nationalism.” Subsequently Cloudflare, whose service was used to protect the site from denial-of-service attacks, has also dropped them as a customer, with a telling quote from Cloudflare’s CEO: “Literally, I woke up in a bad mood and decided someone shouldn’t be allowed on the Internet. No one should have that power.”

We agree. Even for free speech advocates, this situation is deeply fraught with emotional, logistical, and legal twists and turns. All fair-minded people must stand against the hateful violence and aggression that seems to be growing across our country. But we must also recognize that on the Internet, any tactic used now to silence neo-Nazis will soon be used against others, including people whose opinions we agree with.

It appears that Wilson, the inventor of the first successful 3D-printed gun, is ready for a fight. He goes directly after Cloudflare’s CEO Matthew Prince on Twitter.

[Warning: explicit language]

Never one to back down from a challenge, when PayPal and others dropped service to his Defense Distributed project, Wilson turned to bitcoin to fund his operation. Because of that, Wilson worked to develop an anonymous wallet for the cryptocurrency called Dark Wallet. Wilson is also in a legal battle against the State Department over whether CAD files for printable gun designs fall under gun manufacturing laws.

Wilson continued to savage Cloudfare’s Prince on Twitter:

Wilson also recently launched Hatreon, a tongue-in-cheek competitor to Patreon which recently banned “hate speech” from its platform.

Newsweek wrote this about Hatreon:

Finding funding on the internet is hard—especially if your ideas are despised by almost everyone. Just ask members of the so-called alt-right, the pro-Donald Trump white nationalist movement that received considerable attention during the 2016 presidential election. These guys often get barred from online funding platforms like Patreon, GoFundMe and PayPal.

Enter Hatreon, a new crowdfunding service. Like Patreon, Hatreon allows users to donate money to their favorite internet personalities, while the website takes a small cut. But Hatreon doesn’t have any “hate speech” restrictions. Which is perhaps why it’s attracted controversial figures such as alt-right leader Richard Spencer and Andrew Anglin, founder of neo-Nazi news site The Daily Stormer.

In 2014, PayPal cut off Anglin from its service for promoting “hate, violence, racial intolerance or the financial exploitation of a crime,” according to an email from the company that Anglin published on his site. The Daily Stormer is looking for new funding because it is being sued by the Southern Poverty Law Center for organizing a harassment campaign against a Jewish woman in Montana. (In an email, Anglin took issue with the argument that his First Amendment speech could be limited because private businesses are free to deny someone service.)

As an activist entrepreneur, whenever Wilson gets annoyed by petty power, he seems to build a new business to help others expand personal liberty. We look forward to what he builds out of this challenge. (For more from the author of “Purge Begins: Cloudflare Terminates Service to Cody Wilson’s GhostGunner Website” please click HERE)
