Jeff Sessions Just Issued a Major Warning About Marco Rubio – People Need to Realize This

By Julia Hahn. Sen. Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama is warning that the 2016 election could determine whether the Gang of Eight, a group of senators who pushed for allowing greater immigration, runs the White House.

Presidential contender Sen. Marco Rubio was a key member of the Gang. Sessions is emphasizing that powerful forces behind the Gang of Eight are only getting started, and the same special interest coalition is already planning its next push for open borders.

Sessions began his remarks with an effort to correct the record on claims from Senator Rubio about Senator Sen. Ted Cruz.

“Every step of the way Ted Cruz was on my side and fought this legislation all the way through,” Sessions declared. “People need to remember this because this election is going to decide– did the crowd who pushed that bill, are they in the White House? And will they be able to continue their agenda? Or will somebody else be there who will say, ‘No.’”

Sessions explained that despite the American people’s clear repudiation of their plan, the Gang of Eight remains determined to implement their border-opening immigration agenda as soon as they have another chance. “I will say one more time,” Sessions proclaimed, “They are not through. They are determined. They’ve got money, interest groups, power, media that support this agenda and the next president who gets elected is going to determine what kind of immigration system we have.” (Read more from “Jeff Sessions Just Issued a Major Warning About Marco Rubio – People Need to Realize This” HERE)

FLASHBACK: Sean Hannity Supported a ‘Pathway to Citizenship’ Before ‘Gang of 8’ Bill

By Derek Hunter. Talk radio and Fox News host Sean Hannity is one of the biggest opponents of amnesty for illegal immigrants, but that wasn’t always the case.

Hannity, who has anti-immigration candidate Donald Trump on his shows more frequently than any other presidential hopeful and has been a staunch critic of Florida Senator Marco Rubio‘s past on the issue, supported a pathway to full citizenship for illegals in late as 2012 — months before the “Gang of 8” amnesty bill was written and when the New York Times says Rubio “pushed for immigration reform with conservative media.”

On his radio show, Hannity regularly talks of how he’s asked Rubio if his involvement with the “Gang of 8” immigration bill was a mistake, something Rubio won’t directly admit. But Hannity himself supported amnesty in the bill long before then. (Read more from “FLASHBACK: Sean Hannity Supported a ‘Pathway to Citizenship’ Before ‘Gang of 8’ Bill” HERE)

Trump Just Landed yet Another Massive Endorsement

By Greg Richter. Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions endorsed Donald Trump for president on Sunday afternoon just two days before that state participates in the first multi-state primary day.

“Wow, what a crowd this is!” Sessions shouted to a crowd of more than 30,000 in a high school football stadium in Madison, Alabama.

“I told Donald Trump, this isn’t a campaign, this is a movement,” said the four-term Republican, who is one of the leading conservative voices in the Senate. “Look at what’s happening. The American people are not happy with their government. So some say, you know, you just need to let the people calm down a little bit and they’ll forget it and let it all go. Should we forget it? No we should not.”

This year may be the last opportunity to fix illegal immigration, Sessions said.

“You have asked for 30 years, and politicians have promised for 30 years to fix illegal immigration. Have they done it?” he asked. (Read more from “Trump Just Landed yet Another Massive Endorsement” HERE)

Chris Christie Slammed for Donald Trump Endorsement

By Fredreka Schouten. Meg Whitman, the CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise and a top supporter of Chris Christie’s failed presidential bid, on Sunday sharply criticized the New Jersey governor’s endorsement of Donald Trump as “an astonishing display of political opportunism.”

“Donald Trump is unfit to be president,” Whitman, who served as Christie’s national finance co-chair, said in a statement to NBC. “He is a dishonest demagogue who plays to our worst fears.” Whitman called on Christie’s donors and supporters to “reject the governor and Donald Trump outright” . . .

Christie’s surprise endorsement Friday of Trump roiled Republican political circles, and the New Jersey governor faced intense questioning Sunday about that decision on ABC’s This Week. Christie acknowledged that he still disagrees with Trump on an array of policy issues, such as whether to overhaul Social Security. State Department Turns Over 1,600 Newly-Discovered Clinton Documents to Benghazi Committee

The State Department turned over 1,600 pages of previously undisclosed documents related to Hillary Clinton and Libya to the House Benghazi committee on Friday, a month after it revealed the existence of the documents in an unrelated court case.

The House Select Committee on Benghazi announced it received the records on Friday, adding that the State Department has yet to fully comply with document requests the committee made nearly a year ago.

“Today the State Department turned over more than 1,600 pages of new documents related to former Secretary Clinton and Libya,” the committee said. “The State [Department] claimed in a January 8th court filing that it only recently discovered these new documents from the Office of the Secretary.”

In January, the State Department disclosed in a court filing that it had recently discovered “thousands” of new documents related to Clinton’s tenure and the Benghazi attack. The filing was in response to a lawsuit by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, which has been seeking records from Clinton’s time at the State Department. Here’s How Many Refugees Have Been Settled Across America – Your City Could Be on the List

Almost 77,000 refugees came to communities all across America in the last federal fiscal year, with more on the way if the Obama administration gets its way.

“Islam is coming to America in full force thanks to the Obama administration’s willingness to accept hundreds of thousands of refugees over the next couple of years,” wrote John S. Roberts on Young Conservatives in response to refugee data posted on Weasel Zippers that provides a breakdown of the cities and states where 76,922 refugees were resettled.

At a rally Monday in Helena, Mont., which according to the federal list had no refugees settled in 2015, showed the feeling stirred by the refugee issue and the administration’s plans to resettle Syrian refugees.

“I would love to be able to open the doors and let everyone in. But we’ve already got lots of people out of work and stuff,” said Jim Buterbaugh, the rally’s organizer. “We’ve got people living on the streets that we need to take care of. To throw the doors open and just bring everybody in here, we’ll have everybody on the streets.”

“They’re not the true refugees, the Christian Muslims are the true refugees,” Buterbaugh said. “The Muslims, the Islamic Muslims, they can stay where they are.” (Read more from “Here’s How Many Refugees Have Been Settled Across America – Your City Could Be on the List” HERE)

Carson: ‘The IRS Is Not Honest’ [+video]

“We have a system of taxation in this country that is horribly wrong,” Dr. Ben Carson said at Thursday night’s debate. He wants to “ret rid of” the Internal Revenue Service.

“You know, I never had an audit until I spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast, and then all of a sudden, they came in, they said we just want to look at your real estate dealings.” (Carson’s well-received speech at the National Prayer Breakfast in 2013 launched his political career.)

“And then they didn’t find anything, so they said let’s look at the whole year. And they didn’t find anything, so they said let’s look at the next year and the next year. They didn’t find anything and they won’t find anything because I’m a very honest person.

“But the fact of the matter is, the IRS is not hones, and we need to get rid of them” . . .

With most of the debate centering on Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz, Carson drew laughter at one point when he begged someone to insult him, so he could get a word in edgewise. (Read more from “Carson: ‘The IRS Is Not Honest'” HERE)

Revealed: The GOP Candidate the Establishment Wants out of the Race

By Jack Davis. In one of the latest strategies from a Republican establishment trying to find the right combination of factors to stop presidential candidate Donald Trump, subtle and public pressure is being applied to convince Ohio Gov. John Kasich to drop out of the race.

The concept is that with fewer candidates, Trump foes will outnumber his loyalists and Trump will not win the nomination

There’s one problem: Kasich isn’t going away.

“I’m going to stay in for a long time,” Kasich said. “I’m going all the way” . . .

Polls in the upcoming Super Tuesday voting show Kasich trailing. However, Kasich’s home state of Ohio votes March 15. If Kasich were to win the winner-take-all contest, he would amass 66 delegates.

“They thought we would have a nominee by some point in March. This is going to be a race that’s going to go much deeper into the calendar,” Kasich strategist John Weaver told reporters Saturday. “The Kasich brand of being uplifting and inclusive, of having a conservative reform agenda that can be enacted and can be positive is a growing force in national politics. Kasich: ‘Nobody’s Gonna Win but Trump’ Next Week

By The Daily Beast. Shortly after Thursday night’s debate, Gov. John Kasich said that “Nobody’s gonna win but Trump” in the Republican presidential candidates’ battle on Super Tuesday. He qualified that estimate when asked about Ted Cruz’s chances in his home state of Texas—one of the 12 states voting in primaries next week.

Donors Ask GOP Consulting Firm to Research Independent Presidential Bid

Conservative donors have engaged a major GOP consulting firm in Florida to research the feasibility of mounting a late, independent run for president amid growing fears that Donald Trump could win the Republican nomination.

A memo prepared for the group zeroes in on ballot access as a looming obstacle for any independent candidate, along with actually identifying a viable, widely known contender and coalescing financial support for that person. The two states with the earliest deadlines for independent candidates, Texas and North Carolina, also have some of the highest hurdles for independents to get on the ballot, according to the research.

“All this research has to happen before March 16, when inevitably Trump is the nominee, so that we have a plan in place,” a source familiar with the discussions said. March 16 is the day after the GOP primary in Florida, a winner-take-all contest that Marco Rubio supporters have identified as a must-win to stop Trump’s early momentum.

“It’s critical some serious attention is given to this,” the source said.

The document, stamped “confidential,” was authored by staff at Data Targeting, a Republican firm based in Gainesville, Fla. The memo notes that “it is possible to mount an independent candidacy but [it] will require immediate action on the part of this core of key funding and strategic players.” (Read more from “Donors Ask GOP Consulting Firm to Research Independent Presidential Bid” HERE)

Fox News Host Just Bet $10K on What He Thinks Will Be Found in Hillary’s Wall Street Transcripts

Fox News host Eric Bolling on Friday bet $10,000 that transcripts would reveal Hillary Clinton never said in her Wall Street speeches that those who work in the financial sector were guilty of undermining the economy.

Clinton has said that she took Wall Street’s money to offer her opinion to Wall Street bankers: “I told them what I thought,” she said in an interview earlier this year. Critics, however, have suggested what Clinton said during her speeches might be inconsistent with the tough tone she has recently taken on Wall Street during her presidential campaign . . .

“I will almost guarantee — in fact, I’ll bet $10,000 to a charity if there is anywhere in any of her transcripts, in a speech, to anyone in Wall Street saying, ‘You guys are going to undermine the economy.’ $10,000 to a charity if she produces a transcript that says that to a Wall Street bank,” Bolling said. Cuban Migration Spikes as U.S. Relations With Havana Thaw

Eight-year-old Vanesa Amador stands patiently on a bridge that joins Mexico and the United States. She is feet away from a country she admits she knows nothing about but has strong feelings for . . .

Vanesa and her mother, Mayra, are part of a group of about 120 Cubans who made a long journey through several Latin American countries before boarding a charter plane in Costa Rica to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, the border town with Laredo, Texas.

The number of Cubans entering the United States nearly doubled last year, compared with the year before. That trend shows no signs of slowing. More Cubans are coming to the United States because they fear that a thaw in U.S.-Cuban relations will end a longstanding policy granting legal status to any Cuban national who reaches dry land in the United States.

Two in three Cubans who came to the United States to stay in the last two years arrived in Laredo. They consider this the beginning of a life different from the one they left on their native island. (Read more from “Cuban Migration Spikes as U.S. Relations With Havana Thaw” HERE)
