Report: Illegals Rushing to Get Into U.S. Before Trump Wall

GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s vow to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border seems to be spurring more illegal immigration in recent months, according to Reuters.

The news agency says there has been an increase in illegal immigration at the southern border as migrants seek to make it into the United States illegally before Trump gets into office and it is too late.

“They think they need to take advantage while they can,” Blanca Rivera, a manager of the Ciudad Juarez migrant shelter, told Reuters. Rivera noted that she has seen the recent increase in northward migration.

According to Reuters, between October and February Customs and Border Patrol apprehended 150,304 people attempting to illegally enter the U.S. via the southern border, about 24 percent more than the same timeframe last year. Additionally, the number of unaccompanied minors detained illegally entering the U.S. from October to January — 20,455 — is up by over 100 percent compared to those same months last year.

Interviews with migrants, people smugglers and officials show many migrants are trying to cross now instead of facing tighter policing and new policies to halt illegal immigration if Trump or another Republican wins the Nov. 8 election.

More Bad News for Marco Rubio: He Just Lost the Support of Fox News

In his role as the donor class’s darling, Marco Rubio has enjoyed support from the Republicans’ media arm, Fox News. Throughout the primary, Fox provided Rubio with friendly interviews and key bookings, including the first prime-time response to Barack Obama’s Oval Office address on ISIS. Many of the network’s top pundits, including Stephen Hayes and Charles Krauthammer, have been enthusiastic boosters. Bill Sammon, Fox’s Washington managing editor, is the father of Rubio’s communications director, Brooke Sammon.

But this alliance now seems to be over. According to three Fox sources, Fox chief Roger Ailes has told people he’s lost confidence in Rubio’s ability to win. “We’re finished with Rubio,” Ailes recently told a Fox host. “We can’t do the Rubio thing anymore.”

Ailes was already concerned about Rubio’s lackluster performance in GOP primaries and caucuses, winning only one contest among the 15 that have been held. But the more proximate cause for the flip was an embarrassing New York Times article revealing that Rubio and Ailes had a secret dinner meeting in 2013 during which the Florida senator successfully lobbied the Fox News chief to throw his support behind the “Gang of 8” comprehensive immigration-reform bill. “Roger hates seeing his name in print,” a longtime Ailes associate told me. “He was appalled the dinner was reported,” the source said. Good Luck Getting Into Detroit’s GOP Debate

The Michigan Republican Party received more than 21,000 ticket requests for Thursday’s presidential debate in Detroit but will only be giving out about 50 tickets to the public.

The Republican National Committee allocated 400 tickets to the state party, which is expected to give roughly 350 to elected officials, state committee members and grassroots activists, said Michigan GOP spokeswoman Sarah Anderson.

This leaves 50 tickets for the public. The tickets will be randomly awarded to some of the 21,000 people who filled out an online form on the state party website.

“If we have people that are turning them down among our elected officials, then we’ll add that number,” Anderson said. “We want to give out as many as we can. We know that people are excited and want to be there.”

The debate is scheduled to feature GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, Ohio Gov. John Kasich as well as Detroit native and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson. (Read more from “Good Luck Getting Into Detroit’s GOP Debate” HERE)

Obama and Clinton Reject a Future With American Oil

Saudi Arabia’s drifting dunes flow and ebb over 268 million acres of crude-filled desert, making it the oil-richest nation in the world.

America, once the richest nation in the world partly because of its own gigantic domestic oil reserves that flowed like our own rivers and lakes, is on its way to second-class status as a world power because the powers that be are choking off our new oil reserves, and letting the dollar-denominated debt flow instead.

At the core of this entire shift in power is a major change in players and ideologies leading up to our 21st century. And whether or not you think oil is the perfect fuel until a replacement can be found, or you want to see its obsolesce because of climate change, one thing is clear – An America that was once an oil leader has gone blind on oil.

Not to go all 7th grade history lesson on you, but remember that following World War II and under the tutelage of Presidents Franklin Roosevelt and Harry Truman, Saudi Arabia clearly fell under influences of the United States. We exchanged state-of-the-art military technology and protection for oil security.

However, in a very few short years the smooth political relationship between Riyadh and Washington was beginning to frazzle. In 1965 OPEC – which was founded in Iraq, by the way, and whose headquarters since 1965 has been tucked safely away from the Middle East in Vienna (what does that tell you about what they knew was coming?) – believed it was giving away its non-renewable resource for pennies on the dollar. See Just How Many GOP Presidential Candidates Have RSVP’D to Carson’s Private Meeting Request

Dr. Ben Carson has requested an imminent meeting with the rest of the Republican presidential contenders — but so far no one has RSVP’d to his invitation.

Ahead of the Super Tuesday results, Carson’s campaign announced that as the doctor was “concerned with the lack of civility currently being displayed” in the Republican presidential contention, he called for a private meeting of all of the candidates ahead of the Fox News GOP debate in Detroit on March 3.

“A house divided cannot stand, and it is imperative the Republican Party exhibit unity by the candidates coming together with a pledge to talk about the many serious problems facing our country, instead of personally attacking each other,” Carson said Tuesday afternoon.

However, by late Tuesday night, his campaign said not a single candidate had responded to his request . . .

Carson didn’t fare too well during Super Tuesday, but nonetheless, the retired neurosurgeon vowed to stay in the presidential race “as long as he continues to receive revenue and support of ‘We the People,’” a campaign official told TheBlaze Tuesday night. Recently Released Hillary Emails Reveal Disturbing Ties to Muslim Brotherhood

A dispatch contained in the 1,500 pages of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails released last weekend provide insight into the level of support the U.S. was considering in 2012 for Egypt’s newly elected Muslim Brotherhood government.

On August 30, 2012, Robert D. Hormats, the under-secretary of state for economic affairs, wrote to Clinton’s then-Deputy Chief of Staff Jake Sullivan to update him on a meeting he held with Muslim Brotherhood Deputy Supreme Adviser Khairat al-Shater . . .

The email reveals Hormats and other U.S. diplomats discussed methods of cooperation with Shater, including an increase in American direct foreign investment.

Hormats wrote:

Anne Patterson, Bill Taylor, and I met with Muslim Brotherhood Deputy Supreme Guide Khairat al-Shater. He discussed broad principles of economic development based on 100 large infrastructure projects (over a billion dollars each) as part of Morsi’s Nadah (Renaissance Plan) Plan; ways of cooperating with the US to obtain support for these projects and for SMEs; and his hope for an IMF agreement and increased foreign direct investment from the US, the West, and the Arab world. He also noted that it was a priority for the GOE to build a true democratic system based on human rights and the rule of law.

Rand Paul Just Revealed the 2 Things That Will Make Him ‘Un-Suspend’ His Presidential Campaign

Earlier last month, senator and former presidential hopeful Rand Paul announced that he was suspending his campaign after making little headway in the GOP field. Now, however, he has announced that he would “un-suspend” his campaign if he received the endorsement of a particular New Hampshire newspaper.

Prompted by a tweet from the newspaper the New Hampshire Union Leader, which expressed regret for having endorsed Chris Christie as the GOP nominee in November, Rand Paul offered them a chance at redemption, “endorse me and declare a do over in New Hampshire.”

The tweet, which is more than likely a facetious jab at both the New Hampshire Union Leader and his own prospects for president, came in response to an editorial which attempted to walk back its endorsement of Christie, who they seem to no longer support.

The editorial was penned by the newspapers publisher, Joseph McQuaid, prior to Super Tuesday. In particular, the newspaper is disappointed in Christie’s support for Donald Trump, which demonstrated “how wrong we [the New Hampshire Union Leader] were.” (Read more from “Rand Paul Just Revealed the 2 Things That Will Make Him ‘Un-Suspend’ His Presidential Campaign” HERE)

Trump Just Got the News He Did NOT Want to Hear in These 2 Super Tuesday States

By Gerry Urbanek. While Donald Trump has so far met with overwhelming success throughout the Super Tuesday election, Ted Cruz has managed to win two major victories, one in his home state of Texas and the other in the state of Oklahoma.

So far, this makes him the only candidate to score against the current GOP front runner, claiming a total of 3 states, including Iowa earlier in the year.

Now that Cruz has claimed these states in the nomination process, it seems more likely than ever that he might be the only alternative to Donald Trump as the GOP’s nominee.

In Texas, Cruz is polling exactly as predicted he would, winning more than 39 percent of the vote compared to Trump’s 28 percent, according to exit polls by the Associated Press. Cruz also managed to clear Oklahoma by roughly 5 percentage points against Trump.

Another Super Tuesday State Has Just Been Called, 2 Candidates Are Neck and Neck in This State

By Kevin Whitson. With victories already declared in five states, Trump could be on his way to earning the nomination of the Republican party over rival candidates Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL).

Trump was just declared the winner in TN and is neck and neck with John Kasich in Vermont . . .

As it stands, Trump has claimed victory in the following states; AL, GA, MA, TN, VA. Cruz won TX and OK. AR will likely go down as a victory for Trump as well. Currently he is leading in the state with 34.1 percent of the votes over Cruz’s 26.7 percent and Rubio’s 26.5 percent. However, only 11 percent of the precincts have reported their results. Other states have not yet reported results.

Marco Rubio may come away with his first primary victory in MN. As it stands with only five percent of precincts reporting, Rubio is leading with 32.8 percent of the vote, followed by Cruz at 28 percent and Trump at 22.2 percent. Polls for All 12 Super Tuesday States Just Released – They Reveal Something HUGE for This Candidate

When billionaire businessman Donald Trump initially announced his candidacy for president, most political experts did not take him seriously. Some even considered his run for the Whtie House to be a joke . . .

As if to confirm Trump’s validity, polls released from eight states holding primaries on Super Tuesday show him to be in the lead.

In a report from Breitbart, an Alabama poll conducted by Master Image shows Trump ahead with 36 percent, well ahead of Marco Rubio’s 19 percent and Ted Cruz’s 12 percent.

Three separate polls in Georgia all have Trump with commanding leads. The TEGNA/Survey USA poll has Trump with a whopping 45 percent to Rubio’s 19 and Cruz’s 16. The Fox 5 Atlanta poll has Trump at 34 and Rubio and Cruz at 22 percent and 20 percent, respectively. And the WSB-TV/Landmark poll has Trump at 32 percent to Rubio’s 23 percent and Cruz’s 19 percent.

The WBUR poll released a few days ago places Trump’s lead over Rubio in Massachusetts at 40 percent to 19 percent. Kasich also received 19 percent, while Cruz only received 10 percent.

Alaska Dispatch News conducted a Republican poll, which was made public Jan. 23. This poll showed Trump leading Cruz, 27.9 percent to 23.8 percent. Based on the primary victories Trump has had since this poll, his lead may have increased. Cruz Demands Release of NYT Tape Showing Trump Scamming Conservatives on Immigration

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz on Monday called on GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump to ask The New York Times to release a recording of an off-the-record meeting with its editorial board at which he is speculated to have said he might soften his tone on immigration once elected.

Buzzfeed Editor-in-Chief Ben Smith reported earlier Monday that the tape has achieved “near-mythical status” within the Times’ newsroom, and is believed to contain audio of Trump telling the board during a January 5 meeting that he is using the language of deporting 11 million illegal immigrants and building a border wall as bargaining chips in negotiations.

Smith cites a recent column by Gail Collins, who attended the meeting, in which she writes:

“The most optimistic analysis of Trump as a presidential candidate is that he just doesn’t believe in positions, except the ones you adopt for strategic purposes when you’re making a deal. So you obviously can’t explain how you’re going to deport 11 million undocumented immigrants, because it’s going to be the first bid in some future monster negotiation session.”

The last line isn’t mere speculation, Smith said, citing people familiar with the recording and the transcript. (Read more from “Cruz Demands Release of NYT Tape Showing Trump Scamming Conservatives on Immigration” HERE)
