‘Let Me Finish My Thought!’ Trump’s Envoy Shouted Down by Israelis After Hailing Netanyahu

Steve Witkoff, President Donald Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, was shouted down in Israel Saturday after hailing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as being instrumental in the Gaza peace plan that was agreed to, in part, by both Israel and Hamas.

“This moment was made through the tireless dedication of leaders who would not rest until the world saw what could be achieved, one of them standing right here with me, Jared Kushner,” Witkoff said to a crowd of thousands in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Witkoff then proceeded to mention Netanyahu’s name in his round of thanks only to be met with loud boos and jeers from the crowd. . .

“I, I, okay, let me just finish my thought. I was, I was in the trenches… guys, let me just finish my thought,” Witkoff said, as he struggled to tamper down the jeers from the crowd. “I was in the trenches with the prime minister – believe me, he was a very important part here.”

Boos continued to ring out from the audience at every mention of Netanyahu, whose popularity among Israelis has plummeted since Hamas’ attack in 2023, with many Israeli critics accusing Netanyahu of deliberately undermining a hostage deal. Billionaire Investor Issues Ominous Warning of ‘Civil War’ Building Under Trump

Billionaire Ray Dalio warned Friday that surging U.S. debt and hardening political divides under Donald Trump are pushing the country toward civil war.

The veteran hedge fund manager, 76, warned that borrowing “relative to income” is “like plaque in the arteries that then begins to squeeze out the spending.”

He told Bloomberg the combination of swelling deficits, wealth inequality, and global flashpoints has created “plenty to worry about” and an environment “very much analogous” to the years before World War II.

Asked whether a wider conflict is imminent, he replied that a “civil war of some sort” is developing with “irreconcilable differences” in the U.S. and elsewhere moving toward “tests of power.”

As such, Dalio, the founder of Bridgewater Associates, added, it was “crucial” to address the strains now. (Read more from “Billionaire Investor Issues Ominous Warning of ‘Civil War’ Building Under Trump” HERE)

Melania Trump Secures Agreement With Russia On Displaced Ukrainian Children

First lady Melania Trump announced Friday that she secured an agreement with Russia on the reunification of Ukrainian children with their families.

Trump spoke for six minutes, sharing that she had been keeping an “open channel of communication” with Russian President Vladimir Putin over displaced Ukrainian children. She shared that Russia agreed to return Ukrainian children with their families, and in the 24 hours since the agreement, eight children have been returned.

“Each child has lived in turmoil because of the war in Ukraine,” Melania Trump said. “Three were separated from their parents and displaced to the Russian Federation because of frontline fighting. The other five were separated from family members across borders because of the conflict, including one young girl who has now been reunited from Ukraine to Russia.”

The first lady also said she had expressed concern over children who were displaced as minors but have since turned 18 years old. Russia has also agreed to return these children, she announced. (Read more from “Melania Trump Secures Agreement With Russia On Displaced Ukrainian Children” HERE)

Trump Faces MAGA Backlash Over Qatari Air Force Facility in Idaho Amid Renewed Scrutiny of Qatar Ties

President Donald Trump is facing backlash from his own political base after the announcement of a Qatari-funded air force training facility to be built at Mountain Home Air Base in Idaho. The project, intended to support training for Qatar’s Emiri Air Force pilots flying U.S.-made F-15 fighter jets, has ignited a firestorm among Trump-aligned influencers and “America First” conservatives.

The plan, unveiled by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, states that Qatar will fully fund the construction of the facility, which will remain under U.S. jurisdiction and control. However, MAGA-aligned critics say it amounts to allowing a foreign military force—one they accuse of sponsoring terrorism—to establish a foothold on American soil.

Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist and a key architect of Trump’s populist message in 2016, told Newsweek that “there should never be a military base of a foreign power on the sacred soil of America.”

Far-right activist Laura Loomer, who has claimed significant influence in Trump World and boasts ties to current administration officials, went even further. “Never thought I’d see Republicans give terror-financing Muslims from Qatar a MILITARY BASE on US soil so they can murder Americans,” she posted on X (formerly Twitter), mischaracterizing the facility’s purpose.

Loomer also resurfaced a 2017 clip of Trump himself accusing Qatar of “funding terrorism at a very high level.” She added, “The Qatari influence on the Trump administration is totally out of control,” expressing concerns that the relationship with the Gulf monarchy compromises American sovereignty and security.

The backlash has also reignited scrutiny of Trump’s and his inner circle’s longstanding financial entanglements with Qatar.

In 2018, reports emerged that Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor, had received a substantial investment from a Qatari-linked fund to bail out the troubled 666 Fifth Avenue property in New York. The timing raised eyebrows, as it came after Kushner had reportedly pressured Qatar unsuccessfully for funds during the property’s financial crisis—only for Qatari-backed entities to later come to the rescue through a roundabout investment. In 2025, scrutiny of Jared Kushner’s Qatar links escalated sharply. His investment firm, Affinity Partners, saw a substantial capital injection from the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) and other Gulf sovereign wealth funds, contributing to its growth in assets under management. Meanwhile, Kushner played an important diplomatic role behind the scenes in negotiating Israel‑Hamas ceasefire deals, prompting questions over whether his business relationships with Qatar and Saudi Arabia conflict with his influence in foreign policy.

Further complicating the optics, Trump was reportedly gifted a $400 million luxury airplane from Qatar’s government. The gesture, which was not publicly disclosed in required filings for foreign gifts at the time, has raised questions about whether Trump’s post-presidency dealings with foreign powers violate the spirit—if not the letter—of federal ethics laws.

Even outside of the MAGA base, conservative commentators are questioning the strategic rationale of hosting Qatari pilots on American soil.

Noah Rothman of the National Review wrote: “What’s the strategic rationale for this? Either ours or Qatar’s?” He continued, “I’m sure we don’t need to import any more Qatari covert assets into this country.”

Mike Madrid, a GOP political strategist and critic of Trump, compared the move to the Biden administration’s much-criticized response to the Chinese spy balloon. “Joe Biden was criticized for a Chinese balloon flying over our airspace. [Trump’s team is] giving Qatar an entire f’ing air base,” he posted.

In response to the growing uproar, Hegseth clarified via social media that the facility will not be an independent Qatari base. “It will remain a U.S. military installation under U.S. control,” he stated.

Despite the clarification, critics remain unconvinced, pointing to what they say is a growing pattern of influence by Qatar over U.S. policy.

While the Pentagon notes that similar arrangements exist—with Germany, Singapore, and other allied nations conducting military training in the U.S.—the controversy highlights the unique political sensitivities around the U.S.-Qatar relationship, especially within Trump’s own coalition.

As of Friday, the White House has not responded to multiple media requests for comment, and Trump himself has yet to publicly address the controversy. His silence is notable, especially given how vocally he condemned Qatar during his first year in office—only to embrace the nation later as an “important strategic partner.”

Trump, Zelensky Phone Call Comes as Transfer of US Tomahawk Missiles to Kyiv Seen as Progressing

President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed bringing an end to Russia’s invasion during a phone call Saturday — with the US arming Kyiv with Tomahawk missiles seeming increasingly likely.

The two leaders discussed Tomahawks and air defense systems during the phone call, Axios reported.

“I had a call with US President Donald Trump — a very positive and productive one,” Zelensky wrote on X Saturday.

“We discussed opportunities to bolster our air defense, as well as concrete agreements that we are working on to ensure this. There are good options and solid ideas on how to truly strengthen us.”

“I received the necessary signals that the US is considering ways to strengthen our cooperation. We are grateful for this,” he added in another post. (Read more from “Trump, Zelensky Phone Call Comes as Transfer of US Tomahawk Missiles to Kyiv Seen as Progressing” HERE)

President Trump Will Make Sure Military Troops Are Paid if Government Shutdown Lasts Through Missed Check

President Trump said Saturday he would use his authority as commander in chief to pay military troops despite the government shutdown that has furloughed federal employees.

Trump blasted Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and noted that if the government doesn’t reopen by Oct. 15th, the nation’s warriors and Pentagon employees will miss paychecks.

“That is why I am using my authority, as Commander in Chief, to direct our Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to use all available funds to get our Troops PAID on October 15th,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “We have identified funds to do this, and Secretary Hegseth will use them to PAY OUR TROOPS.”

He did not provide specifics on the funding mechanism. A democratic Senate amendment that would have paid active duty military failed to make it through Friday.

Trump’s online pressure came a day after a court filing revealed that more than 4,000 federal employees were getting laid off through “Reductions in Force” that Trump and his top administration members had been threatening. Trump Gives New Details on Mideast Trip as Hamas Frees Hostages

President Trump said Friday that he plans to speak to Israel’s Knesset and then visit Cairo as he travels to the Middle East and Hamas releases its final 20 Israeli hostages.

“I’ll be going to Israel. I’ll be speaking at the Knesset, I think early on, and then I’m also going to Egypt. They were terrific,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.

Trump will be on the ground in the region when Hamas releases the remaining captives seized in the Oct. 7, 2023, surprise attack that started the war.

The president is expected to participate in a formal peace-deal signing while in the Egyptian capital, formalizing the first phase of implementation of his 20-point peace plan.

“Gaza is going to be rebuilt,” Trump said, citing anticipated financing from wealthy Arab neighbors. (Read more from “Trump Gives New Details on Mideast Trip as Hamas Frees Hostages” HERE)

Trump to Send 400 Texas National Guard Troops to Illinois as Anti-ICE Protests Continue to Rage: Pritzker

President Trump is deploying 400 Texas National Guard troops to Illinois, Oregon, and other states as swarms of anti-ICE protesters continue to clash with federal agents, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker said Sunday night.

The Democrat blasted Trump’s “invasion” hours after the president mobilized 300 California National Guard members to Portland, where unrest has raged for over 100 consecutive days outside an immigration detention center — a scene that has been playing out in Chicago since September.

Pritzker said the plan defies his wishes, adding that federal officials haven’t reached out to coordinate or discuss the deployment.

“We must now start calling this what it is: Trump’s Invasion,” the governor said in a post on X, encouraging “every American to speak up and help stop this madness.”

“It started with federal agents, it will soon include deploying federalized members of the Illinois National Guard against our wishes, and it will not involve sending in another state’s military troops. I call on [Texas] Governor [Greg] Abbott to immediately withdraw any support for this decision and refuse to coordinate.” (Read more from “Trump to Send 400 Texas National Guard Troops to Illinois as Anti-ICE Protests Continue to Rage: Pritzker” HERE)

Kash Patel Fires FBI Agents Involved in Tracking GOP Senators’ Phone Calls

FBI Director Kash Patel has fired agents involved in tracking phone calls of eight Republican senators and a congressman as part of former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation of President Donald Trump.

Communication records belonging to GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham (SC), Marsha Blackburn (TN), Ron Johnson (WI), Josh Hawley (MO), Cynthia Lummis (WY), Bill Hagerty (TN), Dan Sullivan (AK), Tommy Tuberville (AL), and Rep. Mike Kelly (PA) were handed over to Smith’s “Arctic Frost” team after they subpoenaed major phone companies in 2023, Breitbart News reported.

That fact was unknown to the public until this week, with Patel saying he discovered the files hidden in a “lockbox” that was placed in a “vault” in a “cyber place where no one can see or search these files.”

“You put it in there when you want to hide it from the world, and that takes the authorization of the attorney general and the director of the FBI,” Patel said in a Tuesday interview on Fox News. “So not only did they weaponize this law enforcement, but when we got in there, and when I got in as the FBI director, from my experience as Russiagate, I knew where to look and what rooms to open and what doors to kick down, and that’s what we did.” (Read more from “Kash Patel Fires FBI Agents Involved in Tracking GOP Senators’ Phone Calls” HERE)

“Does Trump Have Photos With Young Women in Epstein Files?”: Pam Bondi Dodges Questions as Trump Reportedly Considers Ghislaine Maxwell Pardon

A combative Senate Judiciary Committee hearing turned into a political firefight Tuesday when Attorney General Pam Bondi repeatedly refused to answer questions about Jeffrey Epstein — including whether President Donald Trump’s name or image appears in still-sealed Department of Justice files.

Bondi, who has come under mounting criticism for her handling of the Epstein investigation, deflected questions from Senate Democrats by attacking their credibility, raising her voice, and steering the discussion toward Democratic donors rather than addressing the substance of the inquiry.

“I’m Not Going to Discuss Anything About That”

When pressed by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) about who instructed her department to notify President Trump that his name appeared in connection with Epstein-related materials, Bondi stonewalled.

“I’m not going to discuss anything about that with you,” Bondi said bluntly.

“Eventually you’re going to have to answer for your conduct in this; you won’t do it today, but eventually you will,” Durbin responded.

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) later raised the stakes, asking Bondi whether photos of Trump with “half-naked young women” were among the Epstein files held by the Justice Department. Instead of answering, Bondi pivoted to a political counterattack.

“You sit here and make salacious remarks, once again, trying to slander President Trump, left and right, when you’re the one who was taking money from one of Epstein’s closest confidants,” she said, referencing Reid Hoffman, the LinkedIn founder and Democratic mega-donor who once had ties to Epstein’s fundraising efforts.

Bondi also accused Democrats of hypocrisy, asking why they didn’t release more Epstein-related documents when they held the majority.

Bondi Under Pressure Over Epstein Files

Bondi’s refusal to cooperate comes amid growing criticism over the Trump administration’s failure to release all Epstein investigation files. The House Oversight Committee has issued subpoenas to obtain the full records, claiming that only a fraction of the material has been made public — and what has been released so far contains little new information.

Much of the public pressure has focused on Epstein’s long association with high-profile figures, including Trump, who had known Epstein for years before their reported falling out in the early 2000s.

Trump Reportedly Weighing Pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell

The Epstein saga re-entered national headlines this week after the Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal from Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate who was convicted in 2021 for her role in recruiting and grooming underage girls for sex trafficking.

Following the court’s decision, sources close to Trump’s inner circle reportedly told political advisers that the former president is considering a pardon for Maxwell if he is re-elected in 2024. The move would almost certainly provoke fierce public backlash and raise new questions about Trump’s relationship with both Epstein and Maxwell.

Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence, has maintained her innocence and argued that she should have been shielded from prosecution under Epstein’s 2007 non-prosecution agreement. That deal, brokered in Florida, granted Epstein and any potential “co-conspirators” immunity from future federal charges. Prosecutors in New York, however, dismissed that agreement as irrelevant to their jurisdiction.

The hearing underscored how Epstein’s legacy continues to haunt Washington. The late financier, who died in federal custody in 2019 under suspicious circumstances, left behind a trail of unanswered questions — and an explosive cache of documents that many believe could implicate powerful figures across the political spectrum.

Bondi’s refusal to answer direct questions only adds to suspicions, especially as Trump tries to distance himself from the scandal while reportedly entertaining the idea of freeing Epstein’s most notorious accomplice.

With more Epstein files potentially on the way and growing pressure from Congress, Bondi and the Trump-aligned Justice Department may not be able to avoid accountability for much longer.
