Elon Musk Takes Another Shot at Joe Biden: Should Be Age Limits for Elected Officials

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk recently took a shot at President Joe Biden, suggesting the introduction of an age limit of “just below 70” for elected officials.

The Byte reports that SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has taken another shot at President Joe Biden, this time joking about the President’s age. “Let’s set an age limit after which you can’t run for political office, perhaps a number just below 70,” Musk tweeted. . .

In September, Musk mocked Biden after a user noted that the President had failed to acknowledge the Inspiration4 mission’s success. One of Musk’s Twitter followers asked him: “The President of the United States has refused to even acknowledge the 4 newest American astronauts who helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars for St. Jude. What’s your theory on why that is?” (Read more from “Elon Musk Takes Another Shot at Joe Biden: Should Be Age Limits for Elected Officials” HERE)

Will Elon Musk Become the World’s First Trillionaire?

The richest man on Earth could be well on his way to becoming the world’s first trillionaire with the help of his private space-exploration company.

Elon Musk earlier this month reclaimed his title for richest person in the world from Amazon founder and space rival Jeff Bezos due to surging Tesla stock that put his net worth above the $200 billion mark. According to Forbes, the Tesla and SpaceX founder is currently worth nearly $220 billion.

But while Musk’s wealth is largely attributed to the electric-car maker’s success, a Morgan Stanley analyst predicts Musk could venture into trillionaire territory with SpaceX, which currently makes up about 17 percent of Musk’s net worth, according to Bloomberg. The company was valued at $100 billion earlier this month, making it the world’s second-biggest privately held company.

Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas wrote in a note to investors that the company’s Starship rocket technology “has the potential to transform investor expectations around the space industry,” according to CNBC.

“As one client put it: ‘talking about space before Starship is like talking about the internet before Google,” Jonas reportedly wrote. (Read more from “Will Elon Musk Become the World’s First Trillionaire?” HERE)

Elon Musk Says ‘Bunch of People Will Probably Die’ During Mars Mission

Elon Musk has admitted that “a bunch of people will probably die” in the race to get to Mars.

The SpaceX pioneer made his blunt prediction as he laughed at how his planned Mars mission was being seen as “some escape hatch for rich people.”

“You might die, it’s going to be uncomfortable and probably won’t have good food,” Musk told Peter Diamandis, the founder and chairman of the X Prize Foundation for scientific discovery.

Advertisements for the journey should note how it will be an “arduous and dangerous journey where you may not come back alive,” Musk said with a chuckle.

“Honestly, a bunch of people will probably die in the beginning,” he said, while insisting it will also be “a glorious adventure and it will be an amazing experience.” (Read more from “Elon Musk Says ‘Bunch of People Will Probably Die’ During Mars Mission” HERE)

Jeff Bezos Overtakes Elon Musk as Richest Person in the World

Jeff Bezos has overtaken Elon Musk as the world’s richest person, reclaiming his title and ending Musk’s short-lived reign with the title.

Musk, who surged to the top of the list in January after Tesla’s (TSLA) stock was booming, was knocked back into second place on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index list as of Feb. 16. Musk lost around $4.5 billion as Tesla lost about 2.4% of their shares, CNN Business reported.

In 2020, the 170 million shares of Telsa that Musk previously owned increased in value by $106 billion as stock market shares rose by 743%.

In addition, in Jan. 2021, Musk tweeted out a popular link to a Reddit page, which was generating excitement over GameStop (GME) stocks. Musk appeared to be cheering on Reddit users who were purchasing numerous GameStop stocks over Wall Street brokers.

Elon Musk Told His Followers to Use Signal App, Leading to 1,100% Surge in Unrelated Stock With Similar Name

When Tesla CEO Elon Musk urged his Twitter followers on Thursday to “use Signal,” he meant the encrypted messaging app. Some people appear to have taken it the wrong way.

Shares of an obscure and unrelated company called Signal Advance, which trades over the counter, surged 527% on Thursday and another 91% on Friday, climbing from 60 cents to $7.19.

The Signal that Musk was referring to is operated by a nonprofit and serves as an alternative to texting apps like Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Apple’s messaging service. That Signal took to Twitter on Friday to clarify that it has nothing to do with Signal Advance.

Elon Musk Tweets Meme Blaming Facebook for U.S. Capitol Riot

SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has tweeted a meme that suggests Facebook is in part to blame for supporters of President Donald Trump storming the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday. . .

Musk shared an image of a man setting off a chain of white dominos, which is known as the Domino Effect or Slippery Slope meme. The image is used to signify how a seemingly insignificant event can go on to have big consequences.

Referring to Facebook’s origins in Facemash, a website that allowed students at Harvard to rate women’s looks, the text box beside the smallest domino reads: “A website to rate women on campus.”

The text box by the largest domino features a message from New York Times journalist Mark Leibovich on the newspaper’s live stream from Congress, reading: “The Capitol seems to be under the control of a man in a viking hat.”

Elon Musk: Bye, California, I’ve Moved To Texas

Speaking in an interview on Tuesday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed he has left California and moved to Texas.

Musk, who has had more than one home in Los Angeles and one in the Bay Area, made the announcement at the The Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council annual summit in an interview with editor-in-chief Matt Murray.

Musk’s move comes after months of him openly criticizing the state of California’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the end of April, speaking on a Tesla earnings call on Wednesday, Musk ramped up his rhetoric about shelter-in-place orders around the nation, calling them “fascist.” Musk stated, according to The Verge. . .

In May Musk threatened to move from California after shelter-in-place orders forced him to shut down his sole car factory in the United States. In mid-May he gave an indication of how fed-up he was with the leftist governance of his home state of California, apparently urging followers on Twitter to join the conservatives of America as he tweeted succinctly, “Take the red pill.”

Elon Musk Says He Won’t Take Coronavirus Vaccine, Calls Bill Gates a ‘Knucklehead’

SpaceX founder Elon Musk stirred the pot yet again after claiming that neither he nor his family would take a COVID-19 vaccine even if it was readily available.

The 49-year-old billionaire dropped the bombshell during a Monday appearance on the New York Times opinion podcast “Sway.”

“I’m not at risk, neither are my kids,” Musk told host Kara Swisher about the rationale behind his decision. . .

Later on, the automotive mogul addressed Bill Gates’ criticisms of his skepticism toward the coronavirus, which Musk called “dumb” in March. During a CNBC interview in July, the Microsoft founder claimed that Musk didn’t know much about vaccines and said he hoped that the SpaceX head “doesn’t confuse areas he’s not involved in too much.”

“Gates said something about me not knowing what I was doing,” Musk told Swisher. “It’s like, ‘Hey, knucklehead, we actually make the vaccine machines for CureVac, that company you’re invested in.’” He was referring to the fact that Tesla manufactures equipment for the German biopharmaceutical firm CureVac. ‘Facebook Sucks’: Elon Musk Slams Social Network Exec Who Criticized His Knowledge of AI

Elon Musk took a swipe Thursday at a Facebook exec who criticized his knowledge of AI (artificial intelligence).

“Facebook sucks,” Musk wrote in response to a tweet from Jerome Pesenti, Facebook’s head of AI.

Pesenti had earlier tweeted that Musk “has no idea what he is talking about when he talks about AI” in response to a CNBC article about the Tesla and SpaceX CEO’s “complex” relationship with the AI community. . .

In his tweet, Pesenti wrote that “there is no such thing as AGI [Artificial General Intelligence] and we are nowhere near matching human intelligence.”

The CNBC article cited “multiple” unnamed AI researchers from different companies who described Musk’s comments on the technology as “inappropriate.” They also urged the public not to take Musk’s views on AI too seriously. Elon Musk Restarts Tesla Plant in Defiance of Lockdown, Says He’ll ‘Be on the Line With Everyone Else’

Billionaire Elon Musk announced Monday that Tesla would resume production in Alameda County, California, in defiance of local orders dictating a continued lockdown on manufacturing over coronavirus concerns.

The entrepreneur, who has been in a feud with officials for trying to keep Tesla shut down, said he would be joining the production line himself and told authorities, “If anyone is arrested, I ask that it only be me.” . . .

Last week, Gov. Gavin Newsom lifted some restrictions of his statewide lockdown to allow for retail and manufacturing to resume on Friday. But Alameda County, where Tesla’s headquarters is located, continued its lockdown and its health officer reportedly told Tesla it could not reopen on Friday as Musk had planned. . .

Musk noted that the state had already given the green light for manufacturing to resume, “but an unelected official illegally overrode.” He added, “All other auto companies in US are approved to resume. Only Tesla has been singled out. This is super messed up!”
