Miller Will Not Appeal, Continues to Look to the Issues for the Last Week of the Campaign

Anchorage, Alaska. October 26, 2010 — Today, Joe Miller, the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate, accepted the court’s ruling regarding the release of his personnel records from the Fairbanks North Star Borough. Although these records are confidential under both State and Borough law, an appeal to oppose the release was rejected by Miller. “I appear to be the only candidate in this Senate race whose entire life history matters to the media. No one has requested school, medical or work records for Senator Lisa Murkowski or Scott McAdams. Regardless, I am willing to let these records go public so that the people can see that the computer polling matter and my decision to leave the Borough’s employment a year-a-half later were unrelated,” said Miller.

Joe Miller also stated: “The Alaskan voters want to hear about the issues. That’s what they deserve and I will continue to address them. I am running for the Senate because I believe that Alaskans deserve more than the status quo. The fact of the matter is, Lisa Murkowski knows her days are numbered and that change is coming to D.C. — I represent that change.”
