The former security consultant died suddenly on Thursday evening according to her devastated 80-year-old father Bill, with no cause of death yet publicly available.

The Daily Mail’s attempt for further specific documented information about the death through a public records request to Boynton Beach police was blocked Tuesday – with a reply indicating an ongoing ‘criminal investigation.’

What Is Rep. Thomas Massie’s The Epstein Files Transparency Act II?

Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie has officially put forward a discharge petition on the Epstein Files Transparency Act II (EFTA II).

Massie’s legislation aims to strengthen enforcement of the existing Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA) by allowing state attorneys general to sue the Justice Department if it unlawfully withholds, redacts, or delays releasing covered Epstein-related records.

It would also expand access to records for state officials, members of Congress, and victims, including access to otherwise unredacted records in certain circumstances, while establishing penalties for officials who knowingly conceal or falsify covered records.

Before the legislation can reach the House floor, it would need to garner 218 signatures on a discharge petition. If it clears that threshold and passes the House, it would then move to the Senate for consideration before ultimately heading to President Trump’s desk if approved by both chambers.

Iran War Causing ‘Shortfalls’ in Navy Payroll Six Months Into Conflict: Report

The United States’ war with Iran has caused “shortfalls in payroll” in the Navy, according to a report.

The Navy has transferred money from its payroll and other sources to cover the cost of the ongoing contract, The Guardian reported Friday, citing documents and interviews with sources. It comes as the war, which began on Feb. 28, reached its six-month mark and shows no signs of de-escalating.

“The Department of the Navy is actively managing its resources to meet current pay obligations on time,” a Navy spokesperson told The Guardian. “We continue to work closely with Congress to address ongoing operational demands and sustain our personnel and readiness throughout the fiscal year.”

The publication said that one Department of Defense (DOD) memo alluded to “shortfalls in payroll” in Navy funding because the department had been “raiding” them to fund the war.

A social media post by Pete Hegseth, the US secretary of defense, body-shaming female members of a Canadian youth development program remained online on Wednesday despite a furious backlash on both sides of the border.

On Monday night, Hegseth posted on X a photograph of two people in uniform with a Canadian flag and the caption “this is real”, an apparent attempt at mocking the country’s armed forces amid the Trump administration’s trade spat with its northern neighbor.

However, the photograph was reproduced from an Instagram post by the Vernon Cadet Training Centre in British Columbia, which hosted a summer camp in July for teenagers learning adult skills on the military base.

Its subjects are not members of Canada’s frontline military, and the person whose appearance Hegseth was attempting to ridicule is likely a volunteer instructor, critics said. The girl receiving a medal is a teenager no older than 18.

The post, widely seen as part of a Trump administration “bullying campaign” over the trade war, was immediately condemned by officials in Canada and in the US. The father of a girl who was permanently disabled in a truck driving accident by an illegal alien tore into “grandstanding” lawmakers Tuesday, blaming the Democrats’ sanctuary policies.

Marcus Coleman, the father of seven-year-old Dalilah Coleman, ripped congressional Democrats for enabling illegal aliens to stay in the country and permeate industries like trucking, causing accidents that have killed and permanently disabled Americans across the country.

Dalilah herself was just five years old when she was hit by an illegal migrant from India driving an 18-wheeler in June of 2024.

“I reject your guys’ sympathy, to be honest with you,” Coleman said during a House Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday. “There’s no way you guys are sorry. Not one of you guys have ever called me. Trump Admin Sues School District For Clandestine Student Gender Transitions

The Trump Administration is suing a public school district in Kansas City, Kansas, over secret gender transitions for students, which violate the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Unified School District No. 500 has had a policy for transgender and gender non-conforming students in place since 2017, pressuring school officials to use students’ preferred names and pronouns, according to the complaint. Under the same policy, school officials must evaluate gender transitions on a case-by-case basis if a student does not want to involve their parents.

The policy violates FERPA, which gives parents the right to access and review their children’s education records; it also violates the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA), which protects students from disclosing information about sensitive topics such as religious practices or sexual behavior on surveys or instructional materials.

The lawsuit follows an Aug. 2025 Education Department investigation into Topeka Public Schools, Shawnee Public Schools, Olathe Public Schools, and Kansas City Public Schools following a complaint from the Defense of Freedom Institute alleging the schools were allowing students to compete in sports based on their gender identity without disclosing their “transgender status” to their parents.
