This interview was filmed June 10, prior to a series of divisive trade votes in the House. Perry, believing his leadership was mistaken on what was best for America on these votes, felt the wrath of opposing the Republican leadership. He was one of the 34, 54, 158 and 50 Republicans who challenged the prevailing pressure by GOP leaders to grant President Obama new trade powers at the risk of eroding national sovereignty.

His phones were ringing off the hook in support of his vote from his district and nationwide after he cast these trade votes.

Yet, Republican leaders, increasingly governing by fear, risk continuing dissension and disarray. Evidence is building that Republicans, who are failing to persuade those members with differing opinions, and catering to monied interests in Washington, are alienating Americans who voted for them.

Mark Levin: Boehner’s Retaliation Against Conservatives Means Open Warfare, Time to Take Him Down

John Boehner (R-OH)35% and all of his comrades in primaries, nationally syndicated radio host, New York Times bestselling author, and conservative movement thought leader Mark Levin argues in an exclusive comment to Breitbart News.

Levin’s comments come after Boehner’s retaliation against conservatives hit a new low this weekend, with a report from Politico about how House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform chairman Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT)80% —playing along with Boehner’s scheme to attack Republicans for voting their conscience—removed Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC)96% as the chairman of a subcommittee on his full committee. Levin even compared Boehner to 20th century Communist Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin and how he cleansed his government of all dissent.

“Speaker Boehner’s and Congressman Chaffetz’s removal of Meadows is the latest in a series of ideologically-driven attacks on conservatives. Boehner seems to think he’s Stalin cleaning out all opposition in the Kremlin,” Levin said. “No Republican Speaker in recent times has behaved with less integrity in his wielding of power.”

Levin said that Boehner, House Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA)45% , and Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA)74% —and more—each need to be removed by Republicans across the country in primaries in 2016. He says this is because the leadership has failed to learn the proper lessons from the astronomical defeat of now former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor in 2014 in a primary against now Rep. Dave Brat (R-VA), the first time in U.S. history a sitting House Majority Leader was defeated in a primary. The position of majority leader was created in the late 1800s, so that means this never happened for more than a century—and Levin is calling out GOP leadership for failing to learn from the unprecedented event.

“Obviously, the lessons of Eric Cantor’s humiliating loss have not resonated with Boehner, McCarthy, and Scalise,” Levin said. “The only solution is for Conservatives to husband their resources and target these three in the coming Republican primaries. Conservatives need to find serious candidates and raise funds nationwide to defeat them. Senator Sessions: Slow Fast-Track Now, Before It’s Too Late

Fast-Track, or Trade Promotion Authority, will receive a final cloture vote in the Senate on Tuesday morning. This is the bill that passed the House. If cloture is invoked, the bill will pass the Senate and go to the President’s desk.

More than four weeks have passed since the Senate first voted on whether to grant the Executive six years of fast-track authority. In that time, an enormous amount has been discovered about how the President plans to use this authority – information that was either not known or understood when the vote was held. This includes the Administration’s pledge to use the agreement to impose “environmental governance.”

It has become increasingly clear that the President’s Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is far more than a trade deal. It forms an enduring, self-governing political entity with vast regulatory power. Yet fast-track – which has led without fail to the adoption of every covered agreement since its inception – would rush it through with less legislative scrutiny than a Post Office reform bill.

Second chances do not come often. We now have new information and a new vote. Which means the Senate has a second chance to slow down and demand answers about the President’s plans before agreeing to fast-track their adoption.

The President has refused to answer the most simple but crucial questions about how he plans to use fast-track powers. He will not even answer whether he believes his plan will increase or reduce the trade deficit, increase or reduce manufacturing jobs, or increase or reduce wages. Concerns raised about how this new Pacific Union will impact our sovereignty have been met with only a continued unwillingness to reply to any questions about the limits of its reach and power. ‘No Obama. No Sharpton.’ Charleston Rejects Racial Hatemongers With This Campaign

Wherever racial divisiveness rears its ugly head, you can be sure DeRay Mckesson is not far away . . .

Few have bothered to dig into who’s financing his traveling road show, which last stopped on Roosevelt Island in New York, after the Hillary Clinton campaign invited him to attend last week’s relaunch, although the odds of George Soros’ name cropping up are high.

Mckesson wasted little time pushing his message of hate, condemning an atmosphere of forgiveness in Charleston as being a result of “whiteness,” even though family of the nine African-Americans killed were the first to speak of forgiveness . . .

In fact, the push back against the race provocateur recently featured in The New York Times has been so pervasive, a #GoHomeDeRay hashtag is now trending.

When Winston Churchill wrote his monumental six-volume history of World War II, he titled the first volume The Gathering Storm, and described the signs that a world war was approaching. He particularly focused on the Nazis in Germany and their massive increase in military power, particularly in air power, which Churchill foresaw would put Britain at existential risk.

I have written many articles about China’s massive growth in military power, particularly in ballistic and hypersonic missiles, whose only purpose is to destroy American cities, military bases, and aircraft carriers. China is preparing to launch a war against the United States today, just as Hitler was preparing to attack Britain, and that’s part of the Gathering Storm today.

But there is another aspect to the gathering storm — the sudden accelerating world growth in refugees, slaves and terrorists. This is a major trend that is destabilizing the world, and brings us closer to the beginning of the Clash of Civilizations world war. Global Islamic Terror Is Spreading

Florida Sheriff Will Continue to Preach in Uniform Amidst Complaint

Despite a letter sent to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd in protest to his preaching in uniform, Judd will speak at another church on Sunday, reports The Tampa Tribune.

The letter, sent by the Freedom From Religion Foundation on June 15, criticized Judd’s use of his sheriff position to promote his religion.

The FFRF points out an April 19 sermon at Lakeland’s First Baptist Church at the Mall, where a uniformed Judd advocated faith-based jailing and said that law-breaking individuals can best be reformed through Jesus.

In his sermon, Judd also told the Christian audience that they “are the majority.”

“In your personal capacity you can freely exercise your religion as you see fit,” reads part of the letter to Judd. “In your official capacity as an officer of the government, you are bound by the Establishment Clause and cannot abuse that office to promote your personal religious choices.” (Read more from “Florida Sheriff Will Continue to Preach in Uniform Amidst Complaint” HERE)

High School Athlete Dies From Rare Case of Plague

A Fort Collins, Colorado, high school athlete died from the rare septicemic plague the day after he turned 16.

Taylor Thomas Gaes was a sophomore at Poudre High School. He was a pitcher for the baseball team and the football team’s quarterback. With his 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame, he reportedly had the potential for a “brilliant sports career.”

“We often talk about Taylor’s potential as an athlete, but he was much more than that,” Poudre Varsity Baseball Coach Russell Haigh said. “He was a good friend to all of our players. He was a special young man.”

Gaes died on June 8 of septicemic plague, a fast-moving form of the bacterial infection, according to Larimer County Department of Health and Environment spokesperson Katie O’Donnell, The Denver Post reports . . .

O’Donnell said Gaes did not show the typical symptom of the plague — swollen lymph nodes — but instead had muscle aches and pains, reports The Daily Mail. Charleston Shooting Sparks Outpouring of Prayer, Demonstrations of Unity Across US

The brutal massacre of nine worshipers at Emmanuel African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church by 21-year-old Dylann Roof on Wednesday night has prompted an outpouring of prayer and demonstrations of unity both in Charleston, N.C. and across the United States.

Chris and Camryn, the children of Sharonda Singleton, one of those killed in the shooting, revealed that while they are mourning the loss of their mother, their Christian faith has enabled them to forgive her killer–less than 24 hours after her death.

“This is a tragedy,” Chris told the BBC during a memorial service for the victims, adding that he wants his mother to be remembered as a “God-fearing woman who loved everyone with all her heart.”

“We already forgive [Roof] for what he’s done, and there’s nothing but love from our side of the family…Love is stronger than hate, and that’s all I have to say,” he told the reporter . . .

Police have described the murders as a hate crime and arrested Roof, who was pictured on his Facebook page with the flags of apartheid South Africa and white government-era Rhodesia adorned on his jacket. Huckabee: Christianity Is the Means to Achieving ‘True Racial Reconciliation’ in America [+video]

In the wake of the horrific shooting at Emmanuel African Methodist Church in Charleston, S.C., presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee said Christianity is the ultimate tool for achieving “true racial reconciliation” in America during “Meet The Press” Sunday.

CHUCK TODD: If you were president of the United States today, and we have this racially motivated massacre that took place in Charleston, but we’ve had some social unrest as well — a trust issue between African Americans and law enforcement — how would you be addressing this today, if you were president?

HUCKABEE: I think the best way to address it is the way we’ve seen from the church members at Emanuel AME Church. If you look at the pastor who was murdered, it occurs to me that here is a shepherd who laid down his life for his sheep, the greatest example of Biblical love, of Christian spirit , and when you hear the family members — as we heard in that very powerful interview earlier — it reminds us that Christianity is no this cartoon-ish, contemptible, laughable faith that people today try to marginalize.

Harvard Will Field First Openly Transsexual Swimmer

A top recruit for the Harvard University women’s swim team has swapped her gender and decided to swim for the men’s team instead.

As reported by Swimming World, Schuyler Bailar was a top female swimmer in the country in high school, helping to set a high school record in the girls’ 400-meter medley relay. But after graduating in 2014, she took a gap year, during which she came out as transgender and underwent surgery to transition to living as a man. The switch reportedly means Bailar will be the first openly transgender swimmer to compete at the collegiate level.

While the transition took place back in 2014, it was only in the spring that Bailar fully committed to joining the men’s team instead of the women’s one. Since going public with her new identity in May, Bailar has taken to Instagram to chronicle her journey through a series of pictures and encourage other young people coping with gender identity issues:

Bailar’s ability to contribute to the men’s team as a competitor will be substantially curtailed. As a woman, she was a record-breaker, but men are substantially faster swimmers, and even with hormone therapy Bailar is unlikely to be as elite as she once was . . .

“I want Schuyler on my team for the same reasons I want all of my athletes,” Harvard men’s coach Kevin Tyrrell told Swimming World. “I believe he wants to push himself academically and athletically. When all of our swimmers and divers have this mindset everyone improves daily in every aspect of their lives. Israel Conducts Air Strike Over the Border in Lebanon to Destroy This

Israel launched an airstrike strike in Lebanon in order to destroy its own drone which had crashed, according to reports . . .

An unnamed security source told the AFP news agency that the strike was launched to destroy one of Israel’s drones “that crashed in the mountains outside Saghbine”.

However, the photos of the reported drone published by Lebanese media show Cyrillic script on a piece of the wreckage, “indicating that the drone may have been manufactured either in Russia or Eastern Europe”.

“I think the whole issue is not about Israel at all”, said Tal Inbar, Head of Space and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles at the Fisher Brothers Institute for Air and Space Strategic Studies in Israel.
