Missouri Ravaged by Historic Flooding as Disaster After Disaster Continues to Hit America

Why does this keep happening to America? Since the month of September, the United States has been absolutely pummeled by a devastating series of disasters, and this most recent one may be the worst of all. Right now, communities all along the Mississippi, Missouri and Arkansas rivers are dealing with “historic” flooding. In Missouri, it is being said that nobody “that is living has ever seen anything like this“, and it is being projected that rivers could reach levels not seen since “the Great Flood” of 1993. Portions of Interstate 44 have been totally shut down, and thousands of people have either already been evacuated from their homes or are preparing to evacuate. It would be difficult to overstate the utter devastation that we are witnessing. Personally, I have some very good friends in southern Missouri, and I will definitely be keeping them in my prayers.

The governor of Missouri, Jay Nixon, is warning people to be very careful. Thirteen people have already been killed by the flooding, and Nixon says that the waters are going “places they’ve never been before”…

Thirteen people in Missouri have died in floods caused by severe storms over the weekend, and although the rain has moved on, swollen rivers are still rising and won’t crest for days, Gov. Jay Nixon said.

“It’s very clear that Missouri is in the midst of a very historic and dangerous flooding event,” Nixon told reporters Tuesday. “The amount of rain we’ve received, in some places in excess of a foot, has caused river levels to not only rise rapidly, but to go to places they’ve never been before.”

A state of emergency was declared in Missouri on Monday, and yesterday Governor Nixon activated the National Guard. But the river is still rising, and the worst is yet to come.

At this point, some communities have already been totally wiped out. This includes the little town of Rockaway Beach, which is not too far away from Branson. The following comes from USA Today

In Missouri, some areas have already been hit hard by the first wave of rising water. Rockaway Beach, located near Branson in southwest Missouri, was swamped by waters from the swollen White River.

The tourist town of 800 “has just been demolished,” Mayor Don Smith told KYTV. “It’s devastating, and we are all so exhausted.”

It is being reported that the Mississippi River is now a mile wide is some places, and there are debris piles that are up to two stories tall. Authorities are projecting that the flooding along some areas of the river will match or break all-time records that were set back in 1993…

In some parts of the Missouri, rivers are expected to crest as high as they did during devastating flooding in 1993, which is known as the “great flood,” Nixon said.

The National Weather Service predicted that the Mississippi River at Chester, Illinois, would crest at 49.7 feet Friday, matching the 1993 record, the governor’s office said. The Mississippi at Thebes was expected to crest Saturday at a record-breaking 47.5 feet.

The Mississippi River is expected to reach nearly 15 feet above flood stage on Thursday at St. Louis, which would be the second-worst flood on record, behind only the devastating 1993 flood.

What is happening in the center of the country right now is just the continuation of a trend that has been building for months. Just check out this list of flooding events that we have seen in the U.S. since the end of the summer…

-Moisture from Hurricane Joaquin caused the worst flooding in the history of the state of South Carolina.

-Flash flooding caused “rivers of mud” to cover highways in southern California.

-The remnants of Hurricane Patricia caused tremendous flooding in many parts of Texas.

-One of the strongest El Ninos ever recorded has sent an endless stream of storms barreling into coastal areas of Oregon and Washington. This has caused horrible flooding in some areas.

Meanwhile, we continue to witness a rise in earthquake activity as well.

Oklahoma, which had already shattered an all-time state record for earthquakes in 2015, was hit by a 4.3 magnitude earthquake yesterday.

And just within the last 24 hours, a 4.4 magnitude earthquake hit near San Bernardino, California, and a 4.8 magnitude earthquake shook northwestern Washington and Vancouver Island.

Also, let’s not forget all of the wildfires that have been happening. On Christmas Day, a massive 1,200 acre blaze erupted near Ventura, California, and that topped off a year during which wildfires burned more acres in America than ever before.

Of course I could also mention the extremely rare EF-4 tornado that ripped through Garland, Texas just a few days ago and the ongoing multi-year drought that is still plaguing most of the state of California.

On top of everything else, a huge solar storm is going to hit our planet on New Year’s Eve. Fortunately, authorities do not expect that it will do that much damage.

Nobody can deny that our weather is getting really, really crazy.

So precisely why is this happening?

There is certainly a lot of debate about this. It is almost as if someone flipped a switch in September and turned on a disaster machine, because since that time there has been an endless parade of major events.

Do you have a theory that can explain what we are witnessing? (For more from the author of “Missouri Ravaged by Historic Flooding as Disaster After Disaster Continues to Hit America” please click HERE)

Oregon Ranchers May Return to Prison in Land Fight With the Feds

The father and son of a prominent Oregon ranching family plan to surrender at a California prison next week after a judge ruled they served too little time for setting fires that spread to government lands they leased to graze cattle.

Dwight Hammond, 73, and Steven Hammond, 46, said they lit the fires in 2001 and 2006 to reduce the growth of invasive plants and protect their property from wildfires . . .

The decision has generated controversy in a remote part of the state where the Hammonds are well-known for their generosity and community contributions. It’s also playing into a long-simmering conflict between ranchers and the U.S. government over the use of federal land for cattle grazing. Scientists in Italy Rediscover Snake That Was Used by Ancient Greeks as a Weapon of War

Scientists in Italy have rediscovered a type of snake that the ancient Greeks used to hurl at their enemies to create panic and confusion during sea battles.

The Javelin Sand Boa had not been officially recorded in Italy for 80 years, but sightings by locals suggested that it might still survive in a region of Sicily.

Snake experts decided to investigate and found the species, officially known as Eryx jaculus, living in an area of sand dunes and woodland around the resort town of Licata, on the island’s south coast.

They believe the snake may well have been introduced to Sicily in ancient times, when the island was colonised by the Greeks.

The area where it was found is close to the sites of two ancient battles, one in the fifth century BC and the other in the fourth century AD. (Read more from “Scientists in Italy Rediscover Snake That Was Used by Ancient Greeks as a Weapon of War” HERE)

Exposed: What Obama Is Doing EVERY DAY of His Hawaii Vacation Is Shocking Americans

By Jack Davis. The presidential vacation to Hawaii is burning a hole in the federal budget to the tune of about $470,000 a day, according to federal documents provided to the taxpayer watchdog group Judicial Watch.

“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,” Obama said in 2008 while campaigning for office. “That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen,” he added.

However, according to documents just received by the watchdog group after two years of waiting, the Obama family vacation to Hawaii two years ago cost nearly $8 million. The group, which has filed Freedom of Information requests to ascertain how much the Obamas spend while on vacation, estimates that Americans may have spent over $50 million for the seven winter vacations taken by the first family to date. One more vacation is on tap for next year, when Obama will be a lame duck president.

“It seems our lawsuits finally got the attention of the Secret Service. It is easy to see why the Secret Service, reeling from its own scandals, covered up these outrageous expense numbers for just one of Obama’s luxury Christmas vacation,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The $317,000 in Secret Service expenses are only the tip of the iceberg for the true cost of Obama’s 2013 vacation in Hawaii, which has now skyrocketed to $8,098,060. It is nice to know that Obama’s ‘tradition’ of Christmas vacations in Hawaii comes courtesy of overburdened taxpayers.”

Judicial Watch found that in 2013-14, the Obamas spent $91,751.78 in car rental expenses. (Read more from “Exposed: What Obama Is Doing EVERY DAY of His Hawaii Vacation Is Shocking Americans” HERE)

Mele Kalikimaka: Taxpayer’s Gift to Obama Is $470,000 a Day Hawaiian Vacation

By Paul Bedard. The first family’s Christmas vacation to Hawaii two years ago cost over $8 million, giving an indication of the price of their current 17-day winter break, according to federal documents provided to the taxpayer watchdog group Judicial Watch.

Added up, their seven vacations to the island could total over $50 million, and he still has one more likely as president at the end of next year.

From Judicial Watch:

Judicial Watch announced today that it recently received expense records from the Department of Homeland Security revealing that Secret Service expenses for the Obama family vacation to Honolulu during December 2013-January 2014 cost taxpayers at least $316,698.03. These new expenses bring the total for the Hawaii Christmas vacation trip to $8,098,060.33. The Secret Service waited nearly two years to produce the requested numbers to Judicial Watch.

The heavily redacted records were obtained on December 28 in response to a January 6, 2014, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

Ben Carson’s Campaign Is Kicking off the New Year in a Horrible Way – This Won’t Be Easy for Him to Recover From

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson’s campaign was shaken up Thursday by the resignation of three of his most senior staffers — as the former neurosurgeon sees a drop in poll numbers and is raking in more donations than his GOP rivals.

Communications Director Doug Watts told Fox News in a statement that he and campaign manager Barry Bennett had resigned from the campaign.

“Barry Bennett and I have resigned from the Carson campaign effective immediately,” Watts said. “We respect the candidate and we have enjoyed helping him go from far back in the field to top-tier status” . . .

The resignations come just after the Carson camp announced that they had brought in $23 million in donations in the fourth quarter, surpassing all other Republicans, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz who had brought in $20 million.

“Having just announced raising $23m(illion) for the 4th Q(uarter), more than any other Republican candidate, and passing 1 million contributions and over 600 K unique donors since March, we are proud of our efforts for Dr. Carson and we wish him and his campaign the best of luck,” Watts said. Top 10 GOP Betrayals in 2015

2015 will likely be remembered as the year the GOP base finally rebelled against the party leadership, taking the half-century long schism within the party to the point of no return. The betrayal by the party establishment was so profound and blatant that GOP voters everywhere discovered what many of us have known for years – the party establishment does not share our values.

It’s not that there is anything new about the party establishment shying away from providing a bold contrast to the Democrats. This divide within the party was reflected in the battles between Eisenhower and Taft, Rockefeller and Goldwater, Reagan and Ford/Bush, and Gingrich and Dole. It’s that there are graver consequences to not providing that bold contrast, and the people have noticed it.

This ain’t your grandfather’s Democrat Party; nor is this the party of Tip O’Neill or even Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer of the early ‘90s who supported border security and religious freedom respectively. This is the party of transgenders, illegal aliens, and the Muslim Brotherhood. This is the party of licentiousness, totalitarianism, and post-Americanism. So yes, the consequences of remaining silent and even tacitly supporting this agenda are more deleterious than the ineptitude of former GOP House Minority Leader Bob Michael in fighting Democrats of yesteryear.

Last November, Americans went out and voted for a GOP Congress. Out popped Democrat policies, much like the rigged ballot machines in Maryland that would render Republican votes as Democratic ones. As Chuck Schumer jubilantly declared following the omnibus bill, “the bills we’re passing reflect Democratic values.” He boasted that “even though we’re in the minority, we are passing a program that we have been for all along.”

Let’s take stock of the top 10 betrayals of this year that have precipitated the final divorce of the GOP elites and its party base:

1. Re-electing John Boehner

This year started with a Speaker’s fight after the American people rose up spontaneously and flooded the capitol with tens of thousands of calls demanding the resignation of John Boehner. Following Obama’s executive amnesty, it was revealed that Boehner told Obama “do what you gotta do,” which was emblematic of his broader modus operandi of giving Obama everything he wanted. The voters were onto his betrayal, yet despite the spontaneous groundswell from their constituents, all but 25 members voted to reelect Boehner as Speaker. Their reason? An instinct for self-preservation and fear of intimidation by insiders outweighed the unanimous voice of their constituents. The year ended with the people rising up once again to force Boehner out of the Speaker’s chair, but despite the warnings of the GOP base, they replaced him with Paul Ryan, a craftier salesman for the capitulation agenda.

2. Funding the Entire Amnesty Program

In the greatest executive power grab of the modern era, Obama suspended immigration law in an act that even King George lacked the authority to do. Yet, Congress fully funded Obama’s amnesty both in last December’s budget bill, then in March, and every budget bill thereafter, despite promises to defund it. Even though the courts halted part of the program, the DACA amnesty and the complete suspension of Secure Communities and deportations have gone into effect. We are paying for it to this day, and as a result, the border surge is continuing.

3. Corker-Cardin Iran Deal

With news reports that Obama spied on Israel and members of Congress while promoting his Iranian alliance, we are still seeing the fallout of the most treasonous alliance cut by a modern president with an enemy nation. Despite the bipartisan public outrage over the Iran deal, Republicans not only declined to defund it, but they passed the Corker-Cardin bill. That bill gave Obama implicit blessing and legitimacy from Congress by essentially granting approval by default with just one-third of the Senate. Additionally, Mitch McConnell blocked all conservative amendments that would have embarrassed Democrats so that they could be provided a loin cloth and shielded from any blowback. Since then, Republicans have abandoned any meaningful opposition to the Iran deal, despite the fact that the details and the betrayal continue to worsen by the week.

4. Social Issues, Religious Liberty, and Judicial Tyranny

In June, we had a bloodless coup de ta from the federal courts, culminating with the SCOTUS decisions on marriage, Obamacare, and disparate impact. Decisions like these will remake America forever if nothing is done to reverse the courts’ power grab, but you would never know it from watching the behavior of the GOP. Many members failed to even issue press releases. They are done talking about marriage and have not proposed a single piece of legislation protecting religious liberty or reclaiming power from the courts. In fact, Republican leadership even blocked conservatives from using a special legislative process to circumvent a filibuster and place, on Obama’s desk, two resolutions nullifying anti-religious liberty edicts enacted by the D.C. municipality government.

Now we have people being thrown in jail for not signing marriage licenses, private business owners fined for not baking cakes, and schools and institutions turned upside down over the transgendered agenda. Republicans don’t want to utter a peep about these issues. This is one case where inaction truly speaks volumes and represents a monumental betrayal.

5. Funding of Planned Parenthood

While Republicans have agreed to continue funding Planned Parenthood for years, this year represents a most jarring betrayal. With the ubiquitous videos showing PP openly bragging about harvesting and selling baby organs, Republicans had a once-in-a-generation opportunity to simply cut off taxpayer funds in the budget bills (the bills that actually mattered). Yet, they couldn’t stand before the American people and say “not one penny of taxpayer funds for a private organization under criminal investigation for harvesting baby organs.” Sadly, a number of establishment pro-life organizations, which decided to play interference for leadership, were exposed as frauds.6. Criminal Justice Deform

This is the year that, thanks to Obama’s war on law enforcement, the two decade long trend of declining crime was reversed in many major cities. Rather than drawing a bold contrast and continuing the GOP tradition of standing with the silent majority of the country on law and order Republicans helped codify Obama’s agenda in multiple ways. Similar to the gang of eight on immigration, Republicans responded to Obama’s program of early release from prisons with a bill of their own to retroactively release violent drug and firearms offenders from federal prison. They have used the House and Senate judiciary committees as conduits for the left wing soft-on-crime agenda. Likewise they have done nothing to investigate the DOJ’s racist strong-arming and intimidation practices against local police departments. Instead the GOP gave the DOJ more funding to get involved in local law enforcement matters.

7. The Great Fiscal Betrayal

Ok, so Republicans have given up on defending our sovereignty, security, and civil society, but aren’t they fiscal conservatives? Not a chance. Republicans reversed the only fiscal gains they’ve secured since winning back the House in 2011 by busting the budget caps and essentially vitiating the budget control act. They suspended the debt ceiling twice this year, the latter time extending until the end of Obama’s presidency. Additionally, they passed a $70 billion highway bailout, 5-year extension of No Child Left Behind programs, and passed a massive Medicare doc fix bailout that will cost $500 billion over 20 years without any conservative structural reforms.

8. Obamatrade

Even those conservatives who are generally predisposed to support trade deals should be appalled by the lengths GOP leaders went to hand Obama one of his biggest political victories this year. They spent an entire month ignoring Obama’s fundamental transformation of our nation and begged Democrats to support their own party leader’s bill by offering them all sorts of goodies.

9. Islamic Refugees from the Middle East and Africa

Following the Paris terror attacks, and even before the San Bernardino terror attack, some friends told me not to worry about defunding refugee resettlement and move on to focus on some other issues. The issue had been won already, they said; there was no way Democrats could get away with continuing to bring in more refugees in light of the news. Well, despite the torrent of news about the break down in vetting of Tafsheen Malik, Republicans funded every aspect of Obama’s refugee program without placing any restrictions on immigration from the Middle East. Instead, the GOP passed a phony refugee bill, a visa waiver bill that did nothing but promote Obama’s distraction (it also contained a waiver Obama is now utilizing), and blocked all conservative amendments despite promises for an open amendment process.

10. Surrendering the Power of the Purse

The sum total of all the legislative betrayals this year, culminating with passage of the omnibus, is that Democrats know with absolute certainty Republicans will never use the budget process to stop even the most harmful policies. Obama now has his final year to fundamentally transform America with a clear playing field and the full confidence that he will not face any opposition.

The good news? You can’t fool all the people all the time. This year voters will respond to these betrayals, and if the polls are any indication, it appears the establishment is in for a rough 2016. (For more from the author of “Top 10 GOP Betrayals in 2015” please click HERE)

Islamic Leader Just Issued 9-Word Warning to America If Trump Becomes President

Minister Louis Farrakhan, the controversial leader of the Nation of Islam, warned Americans in his most recent video that electing billionaire Donald Trump as president will put the United States on the fast track to destruction.

“If Donald Trump becomes president, he will take America into the abyss of hell,” Farrakhan said in the video posted to his Facebook page.

Farrakhan is not debating Trump’s success. He said the GOP presidential candidate has “done great things in the business world.” Farrakhan’s root problem with Trump is he claims the presidential candidate is “exacerbating the race situation in America” with his comments.

“He’ll take America exactly where America is heading. He’ll take you there on a rocket ship,” Farrakhan said. “If he becomes your president, you’ll be just like him. … When you get leadership that is not rooted in justice, then they begin to make the people just like themselves” . . .

“Mr. Trump is tearing away the skin of the onion of white civility and the more he pulls the skin of that onion back, he’s beginning to show something in the character of the whites that follow him, that they don’t care what he says,” Farrakhan said. “He could say one thing this minute, another thing the next minute and you can see that the man has a little problem.” (Read more from “Islamic Leader Just Issued 9-Word Warning to America If Trump Becomes President” HERE)

Scathing Open Letter to Senator Cruz: “Renounce Your Left-Libertarian Views on Legal Immigration”

Dear Senator Cruz,

You know what you need to do to regain my support and the moral right to ask me for a “critical, personal favor”:

Renounce your Left-Libertarian views on legal immigration. Publicly recognize that we are being irreversibly culturally and politically terraformed at these suicidal legal immigration levels. Take a bold, unapologetic, non-slippery position to slash net legal immigration to zero for several decades in order to recuperate from the accelerating deluge levels we’ve been subjected to ever since corrupt Republicans stupidly went along with Ted Kennedy’s 1965 Democrat Trojan Horse. Not just pause it for 9 months while you “study” the alleged “new information” that we’ve known for decades. Zero net immigration including all kinds of visas while we deport all illegals, abolish anchor baby citizenship for the children of non-citizens, and abolish chain migration. Then return to the kind of sustainable, pleasant, beneficial, assimilable levels and criteria we enjoyed from the 1920s under Coolidge through the 1950s under Eisenhower.

You cannot call yourself a conservative or a Republican and do otherwise. Over-immigration is overwhelming the native-born citizenry’s voting control of our country, with people who will continue to vote overwhelmingly Democrat. It’s a coup d’etat. If not halted and reversed, then within 20 years, it will give the Democrats permanent supermajority control of the federal government and a supermajority of the states. At that point every one of your conservative issues will be permanently lost or vulnerable to permanent loss, along with our liberty, security, privacy, dignity, culture, quality of life, standard of living, cost of living, freedom of movement, elbow room, unpaved private land, and our human and natural environments. You cannot call yourself a conservative while continuing to support immigration policies that are permanently sabotaging all conservative issues.

As you know, I didn’t know about your support for massive increases in legal immigration until you voted for cloture on Obama’s top secret “free trade” Trojan Horse. It was only then that I took a close look at your record. I’d love to know what kind of back-room deal with NumbersUSA resulted in that phony “A+” career grade. It’s clearly a back-room deal, since the grade is demonstrably false, ignoring your objective public record and statements. Really, same grade as our biggest champion, Senator Sessions? After you repeatedly undermined Sessions’s efforts and consistently called for massive hikes in legal immigration? If you’re an “A+”, then what’s Jeff Sessions? AAA+++? That “A+” is an insult to Senator Sessions’s courage, sacrifice and fidelity on this issue.

Sincerely,

Russ Howard

It’s Time for a ‘Persecuted Christians First’ Foreign Policy

A debate is raging right now among Republicans about the appropriate foreign policy for that party. Should we continue the movement to promote majority rule across the world that George W. Bush announced in his Second Inaugural Address, and tried to implement in Iraq? His successor, Barack Obama, may have cut and run from Iraq, but he carried Bush’s democracy torch during the crucial Arab Spring, supporting rebel Islamist movements in Egypt, Libya, and Syria. To do less, advocates of this policy argue, would be to insult the peoples of other countries, suggesting that they somehow don’t deserve the blessings of American liberal democracy. That is roughly the position of Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, and Jeb Bush. It is broadly referred to as “neoconservatism.”

Or should we admit that democracy apparently isn’t for everyone, or at least for everyone everywhere all the time right at the moment, and instead support regimes that repress political Islam, protect religious minorities (especially Christians), and are willing to cut deals that favor U.S. interests? That’s the position favored by Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and Rand Paul. The common name for such a policy is “realism.”

The stakes are high. We are currently faced with Vladimir Putin’s Russia, which is using military power to prop up the minority regime of Bashar Assad in Syria. Several Republican candidates, including Christie and Rubio, want to use the U.S. Air Force to confront the Russian air force with a “no-fly zone,” including the threat to shoot down Russian planes that attack Syria’s “moderate” Islamist rebels. Rand Paul was moved during the last GOP debate to call this proposal an occasion for “World War III.”

It is customary at this point to insert a long, ritual denunciation of Bashar Assad, as a brutal dictator fully as wicked as Idi Amin or Pol Pot, which is meant to settle the question. The man is EVIL. We Americans strive to be GOOD. So of course we must help to remove that awful man from power, regardless of what it costs, what it risks, or what result it actually produces for the people who have to live in the real, existing country of Syria.

And it’s true that Assad’s regime has used brutal means to stay in power. It’s also true that it currently stands as the protector of millions of religious minorities, Christians and Alawites, who rightly fear genocide and ethnic cleansing at the hands of any Islamist regime that would come to power. The Christian leaders of Syria are terrified by every rebel faction fighting Assad, however “moderate” Senator John McCain believes them to be. Likewise the Alawite minority, the core constituency for Assad’s regime. Based on the ethnic cleansing of more than a million Christians from Iraq in the wake of the U.S. invasion that toppled another secular dictator, each group believes that they face imminent death, or expulsion to miserable refugee camps — controlled, as such camps are, by intolerant Sunni Muslims.

So the Alawites and Christians are fighting for their lives, and their leader, Assad, is using whatever means come to hand to stop the Islamist takeover — including, some say, chemical weapons. Does this make him “genocidal,” as some assert? Or is he using desperate means to prevent a genocide, means not nearly as harsh as President Harry Truman used against the Japanese Empire? As citizens of a country that answered Pearl Harbor and the Holocaust by nuking two Japanese cities, after fire-bombing most of the others, and leveling massively populated cities in Europe, perhaps we ought not to be throwing stones at Assad, as he fights to save his Alawite people and Christian allies from ending up like the desperate Christians of Iraq.

Jewish Americans are rightly concerned about the safety of Jews in Israel, and all around the world. Thank God, given the callousness or outright hatred of Jews that pervades so many countries. In Iran and throughout the Arab world it’s official government policy (except in Egypt and Jordan — not democracies), to favor Hamas’s goal of “driving the Jews into the sea,” which means exactly what it sounds like: mass genocide. To guarantee its survival, Israel stockpiles nuclear weapons, which it would use as a last means of self-defense, and the results would be even uglier than what Assad is up to in Syria, faced with the very same threat. (In a bitter irony, Assad is allied with Iran, which hopes to develop nuclear weapons to threaten Israel — which we should absolutely stop Iran from obtaining. However, Assad’s regime in Syria contributes nothing to Iran’s nuclear program.)

Because of the gravity and urgency of the ongoing threat to Jews, many patriotic American Jews also act as a potent special interest group, advocating the U.S. alliance with Israel in support of the safety of Jews, and good for them. No one else is looking out for the safety of Jews, and as Rabbi Hillel once said, “If I am not for me, who is for me?”

We Christian Americans should do the same, for our persecuted brethren around the world. We must love our enemies, but not at the cost of letting them murder our friends. Within the legitimate bounds of American patriotism, we should act as a potent special interest group. We should adopt the slogan “Persecuted Christians First.” We must serve as the defense attorneys of the most abandoned, neglected people on earth (apart from the unborn): our brothers in Christ, the persecuted Christians around the world — especially those threatened by political Islam, which also endangers America and Israel. It’s the Christian thing to do. (For more from the author of “It’s Time for a ‘Persecuted Christians First’ Foreign Policy” please click HERE)
