Kasich Pledges to Force Through Amnesty for Illegals in His First 100 Days as President

It’s pretty easy to size up a politician by his priorities. And in the case of Ohio Governor John Kasich, he’s prioritized illegal immigrants over his own constituents.

It should come as no surprise that Kasich pledged to pass amnesty for illegal aliens during the first 100 days of his administration instead of deporting all criminal aliens and punishing sanctuary cities. These are the same values he championed as governor of Ohio.

On July 27, 2015, Juan Emmanuel Razo, an illegal alien from Mexico, raped and murdered Margaret Kostelnik in a small township 30 miles northeast of Cleveland. On the same day, Razo shot and wounded another woman in front of her two children and attempted to rape a 14-year old girl in a nearby park. Just yesterday, in fact, AP reported that Razo might be spared the death penalty after agreeing to a plea deal.

Razo had no prior criminal record (aside from the inconvenient fact that he was in the country illegally) so he was not picked up by Border Patrol when local cops apprehended him just three weeks prior to his shooting spree. Having committed no previous crime, Razo would be a prime candidate for John Kasich’s amnesty. Not surprisingly, Kasich had nothing to say about this murder in his home state until he was pressed on it by Fox News, even though he was a sitting governor who was already running for president. In fact, he called such deportations (those with no prior criminal record) “inhumane.”

What is truly inhumane is a politician who cares more about foreign nationals here illegally than his own constituents. Kasich has long supported illegal immigration. Yes, he is such a political fossil that he was even around in 1986 to vote for the infamous Simpson-Mazzoli amnesty. That amnesty, and the subsequent three-decade cycle of open borders and amnesty that ensued, has resulted in endless cases like the tragedy of Margaret Kostelnik. Yet Kasich, rather than learn his lesson like many of those who supported the 1986 bill, wants to repeat the cycle and encourage more illegal immigration. All because he cares more about the political elites and the sentiments of the special interests than his own constituents.

In November 2014, during the same week Obama announced his executive amnesty, Kasich echoed Obama’s talking points on immigration, always concerned about the illegal immigrant, not the American citizen. He said his views had “evolved” and that he didn’t want to “see anybody in pain.” Evidently, that sense of empathy didn’t extend to the pain of his constituents.

John Kasich failed the most basic test as governor of Ohio by placing the interests of foreign nationals ahead of residents of his state. Now he wants a promotion to Vice President under Donald Trump? Clinton’s Alternate Reality: America ‘Didn’t Lose a Single Person’ in Libya

Considering what happened to U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton should probably apologize for her recent outrageous comment about the U.S. decision to destabilize the country in 2011.

Clinton, who was Secretary of State when the U.S. conducted military operations to oust Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi in 2011, told a town hall audience the operation was a success because it didn’t lead to the loss of American life . . .

“We’ve got to continue to support the Libyan people, to give them a chance, because otherwise you see what happened in Syria, with the consequences of millions of people flooding out of Syria, with more than 250,000 people killed, with terrorist groups like [the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria] taking up almost — huge blocks of territory, as big as some of the states in that area,” Clinton added . . .

The former Secretary of State didn’t mention the names of the four Americans who died in Benghazi at a diplomatic compound her department failed to protect, instead opting to say of the efforts in Libya: “We didn’t lose a single person.” (Read more from “Clinton’s Alternate Reality: America ‘Didn’t Lose a Single Person’ in Libya” HERE)

Something Big Was Wrong With Dozens of Ballots in Florida… Trump Isn’t Going to Like This

A Fox News reporter took to Twitter to claim she has received “up to 15” complaints that Donald Trump was left off the ballot in Florida.

Jennifer Eckhart also tweeted that the local Fox affiliate has received “dozens of complaints” regarding in the issue.

Eckhart said the irregularities are happening in “Jupiter County,” which is not a real place. Presumably she was referring to the town of Jupiter, located in Palm Beach County.

One Photo of George W. Bush Emerged From Nancy Reagan’s Funeral That Has Everyone Talking

It’s often said that a picture speaks a thousand words, but one photo that emerged from former First Lady Nancy Reagan’s funeral seems to be saying a lot of different things to different people, stirring passions on both sides of the political aisle . . .

The photo was posted to Twitter by CNN political director David Chalian and was accompanied by the caption “This may be the best photo from Mrs. Reagan’s funeral.”

Many people immediately reacted to the photo by saying it was nice to see famous American politicians with opposing ideologies such as a Bush and Clinton letting their guard down in a time of mourning and celebration of the life of Mrs. Reagan.

And many liberals, including some Bernie Sanders fans, were also upset. To them, the photo proved that Hillary was exactly the same as the president many of them despised.

REVEALED: Trump Just Promised Former GOP Candidate Prominent Role in His Administration [+video]

By Gerry Urbanek. In an interview Monday on The Steve Malzberg Show, former presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson announced that he would be serving in an “advisory capacity” in a Trump administration.

“Now, I do believe, certainly in my discussions with Donald Trump, he does love America and he does want to be successful,” Carson said. “And he will surround himself with very good people.”

As it turns out, the retired neurosurgeon revealed, he would be one of those “very good people” working alongside the billionaire front-runner should Trump win the general election.

He confirmed that he would be “doing things” within a Trump administration, elaborating only that he would be serving “in an advisory capacity.”

“That has been determined?” Malzberg asked. “When you sat down with him, that was discussed?”

Carson confirmed that he discussed the issue broadly with Trump, though he shied away from revealing any specifics. (Read more from “REVEALED: Trump Just Promised Former GOP Candidate Prominent Role in His Administration” HERE)

Carson Actively Lobbying Trump to be His Vice-Presidential Pick

Former presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson stunned many when he endorsed Donald Trump for president. Just a few days later, Carson admitted he would not only be advising Trump during the presidential campaign, but could also play a possible role in a Trump administration.

Many speculated this would mean a cabinet position for the retired neurosurgeon, who has displayed a wealth of knowledge both in medicine and education. Yet it seems these speculations might have underestimated Carson.

Today it was announced that members of Carson’s campaign team are planning to meet in Palm Beach, Fla., to discuss the possibility of a Trump/Carson ticket.

The meeting, which will take place March 29, will include Ben Carson Jr., former Carson campaign chairman Robert Dees, ex-campaign manager Ed Brookover, treasurer Logan Delaney, and former senior adviser Mike Murray.

Brookover has recently joined the Trump campaign to lead a “delegate selection team,” suggesting the two sides have a strong working relationship.

According the multiple sources, the group will discuss a vice-presidential push as well as what to do with the 700,000-member mailing list Carson’s campaign compiled. (Read more from this story HERE)

Ted Cruz Pledges to Support Donald Trump Unless He Actually Shoots Someone

By Veronica Stracqualursi and Paola Chaves. Sen. Ted Cruz has vowed to support GOP front-runner Donald Trump if he secures the Republican nomination — but he has one condition.

“I can give you one example where I would no longer support Donald Trump. If for example, he were to go out on Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, I would not be willing to support Donald Trump,” Cruz said today at a press conference in Rockford, Illinois.

Cruz’s reference is to when, back in January, Trump joked at a campaign rally in Sioux Center, Iowa, that his supporters would stand behind him even if he shot someone . . .

When pressed further by reporters, Cruz argued that he is a man who keeps his word.

“I know it is a shocking concept to members of the media. A shocking concept that an elected official actually does what he said. At the outset of this campaign, I committed I will support the Republican nominee. I honor my word,” Cruz said. Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon Will Quigg Just Endorsed This Presidential Candidate

A prominent white supremacist who was supporting Donald Trump has switched his support to Hillary Clinton, he said on Monday.

Will Quigg, a grand dragon with the Ku Klux Klan’s California branch, said he supports Clinton because she has a “hidden agenda.”

“We want Hillary Clinton to win. She is telling everybody one thing, but she has a hidden agenda,” Quigg, a grand dragon of the KKK’s California chapter who is responsible for recruitment across the Western United States, told the Telegraph.

He did not elaborate on Clinton’s “hidden agenda,” saying: “I cannot reveal my sources” . . .

He added: “She’s telling everybody what they want to hear so she can get elected, because she’s Bill Clinton’s wife, she’s close to the Bushes. [But] once she’s in the presidency, she’s going to come out and her true colors are going to show.” (Read more from “Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon Will Quigg Endorses Hillary Clinton for President” HERE)

FBI Agents and Federal Prosecutors: There Is Enough Evidence for Charges in Hillary Email Scandal

Nearly a dozen active FBI Special Agents and Federal Prosecutors working for the Department of Justice who spoke on condition on anonymity for fear of reprisal have said they believe that, given the information that has been made public to date, there is more than sufficient evidence for the FBI to recommend federal criminal charges for national security-related crimes against Hillary Clinton and some of her top aides to the Department of Justice for prosecution.

Specifically, the Special Agents and Federal Prosecutors that I spoke with cited the 22 ‘Top Secret’ emails withheld by the State Department at the request of the U.S. Intelligence Community and the nearly 2,000 pages of additional redacted classified email correspondence found on Mrs. Clinton’s unclassified email server as sufficient evidence to warrant charges. Those charged would include the unauthorized disclosure, storage, and retention of classified national security information stemming from gross negligence and willful misconduct.

If the sources predictions are correct and the FBI does recommend charges, then Federal Prosecutors would have to sign off on the charging sheet. It would then be up to a Grand Jury or a Federal Judge to determine whether or not to indict any of those charged based on the evidence collected.

The only question is whether or not the DOJ will do so. (Read more from “FBI Agents and Federal Prosecutors: There Is Enough Evidence for Charges in Clinton Email Scandal” HERE)

Putin Orders Surprise Syria Withdrawal

By BBC. In a surprise move, Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his military to start withdrawing the “main part” of its forces in Syria from Tuesday.

He said the Russian intervention had largely achieved its objectives.

The comments come amid fresh peace talks in Geneva aimed at resolving the five-year Syrian conflict.

Russia is a key ally of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, whose office said in a statement he had agreed to the move.

The pullout was “in accordance with the situation on the ground”, the statement said. (Read more from “Putin Orders Surprise Syria Withdrawal” HERE)

Putin’s Shock Plan to Pull Troops From Syria Puts Pressure on Assad

By Jake Rudnitsky, Ilya Arkhipov and Henry Meyer. Russia said it will start withdrawing forces from Syria in a surprise move that puts pressure on its ally President Bashar Al-Assad, as well as opposition groups, to reach a deal at the peace talks that got under way hours earlier in Geneva.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose military intervention last year in support of Assad turned the tide in Syria’s five-year civil war, said the partial pullout should begin on Tuesday. A Russian air base and a naval facility will continue to function, he said in Moscow. Assad didn’t request the withdrawal, said Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov.

Russia has urged the Syrian leader to be “constructive” in the latest peace talks, aimed at ending a conflict that’s killed a quarter-million people, sparked a refugee exodus to Europe and allowed Islamic State a foothold. For Putin, who’s worked with the U.S. to promote diplomacy in Syria even though the two powers backed opposite sides in the war, it’s an opportunity to display peacemaking credentials while preserving the gains Assad’s army made under Russian air cover.

“Putin is a wily guy. He is showing he’s a statesman,” said Joshua Landis, director of the Center for Middle East studies at the University of Oklahoma. “Russia is also sending a message to Assad who has been sounding too confident.” (Read more from “Putin’s Shock Plan to Pull Troops From Syria Puts Pressure on Assad” HERE)

Sanders Gains on Clinton Ahead of Huge Tuesday Contests

The race for the Democratic presidential nomination is tightening, with Bernie Sanders closing in on Hillary Clinton in two important contests.

Sanders is leading Clinton in Missouri and has cut into the Democratic front-runner’s lead in Ohio and Illinois, according to a new survey the left-leaning Public Policy Polling (PPP).

All three states now look like toss-ups, with the PPP poll showing Sanders trailing Clinton by just 5 points, 46 percent to 41 percent, in Ohio.

The change is particularly notable because several polls in Ohio at the beginning of the month showed Clinton with a 20- to 30-point lead over the Vermont senator.

The race has drawn much closer since Sanders’s surprise win in Michigan; he also trailed by double-digits in that state weeks before its primary. (Read more from “Sanders Gains on Clinton Ahead of Huge Tuesday Contests” HERE)

Potential Supreme Court Candidate Defended Pipe Bomber, Child Murderer

One of President Obama’s potential candidates for the Supreme Court has a history of defending some of Iowa’s most infamous criminals, including the “Midwest Pipe Bomber” and the child molester who murdered five-year-old Evelyn Miller.

Judge Jane Kelly, who was appointed to the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in 2013, is reportedly on President Obama’s short list for the Supreme Court vacancy left by Justice Antonin Scalia.

Before becoming a judge, Kelly worked for years as a public defender in Iowa. In 2005, Kelly was the appointed attorney for a 26-year-old man named Casey Frederiksen, who was charged with possession of child pornography.

Although Frederiksen had previously been convicted of sexual assault involving a minor, Kelly urged the judge to grant him leniency, arguing that he was not a danger to others and should be released and allowed to live with his father. Frederiksen was sentenced to 14 years in prison in the case.

A decade later, Frederiksen was convicted of murder and sexual assault in the 2005 cold case killing of 5-year-old Evelyn Celeste Miller. Evelyn, the daughter of Frederiksen’s live-in girlfriend, was reported missing from her northern Iowa home on July 1, 2005. Over 1,500 people joined police to help search for the young girl. Her body was found with stab wounds on a nearby river bank two days later, and there was evidence she had been sexually assaulted.
