Watch: Fox Host Gets DNC Chair to Admit Clinton Was Only Sec. Of State Ever to Use Private Email Sever

hqdefaultDemocratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz struggled to defend former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server this morning during an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

When host Chris Wallace asked the Florida congresswoman about about Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ persistent critiques of Clinton’s campaign and the scandal that surrounds it, Wasserman Schultz unsuccessfully tried to divert the conversation to the messy, “backwards” Republican race . . .

When pressed about the scandal, she said that Clinton used private emails “in the same way that previous secretaries of state have.”

“Whoa, you know that’s not true,” Wallace stopped her. “Nobody says that’s true.”

“Other than the private server,” Wasserman Schultz said. (Read more from “Fox Host Gets DNC Chair to Admit Clinton Was Only Sec. Of State Ever to Use Private Email Sever” HERE)

European Ministers Lay out Explicit Plan to Create United States of Europe

pAAUsLlkMzcGe9MPu7eqJdWhmB71ky6eEuropean ministers have explicitly laid out their intentions to create a federal Unites States of Europe, directly contradicting the British Prime Minister, David Cameron’s claims that Britain will not be sucked into a European superstate should the people of Britain vote to remain within the European Union (EU).

Presenting his renegotiated deal on EU membership in February, Mr Cameron insisted: “Britain will be permanently out of ever closer union, never part of a European super-state.”

But the emergence of a declaration signed in Rome by European ministers five months previously to Mr Cameron’s announcement reveals that the intention on the continent is to press ahead with the creation of a federal Europe.

Not content with merely monetary union and free movement, the declaration, signed by the speakers of the national parliaments in Germany, France, Italy and Luxembourg states that they want to integrate a broad spectrum of policies. “It should include all matters pertaining to the European ideal — social and cultural affairs as well as foreign, security and defence policy,” the declaration states.

It adds: “We are convinced that new impetus must be given to European integration. We believe that more, not less, Europe is needed to respond to the challenges we face. (Read more from “European Ministers Lay out Explicit Plan to Create United States of Europe” HERE)

Aspiring Campaign Worker’s Murder Leads to Retaliatory Killing in Philadelphia

elections-536656_960_720The execution-style killing of a Philadelphia man who was speaking to a political candidate about volunteering for his campaign led to a retaliatory shooting that left one teenager dead and another wounded, police said late Sunday.

“We do believe these are two rivaling factions,’ Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross told reporters. “What they’re fighting over we haven’t pinned that down right now, but we are not going to let this pass us by, by not assuming that it’s gang related because everything suggests that it is.”

The first shooting took place at around 3:30 p.m. in the Cedarbrook section of the city. Witnesses said the unidentified 21-year-old victim was talking with Chris Rabb, a Democratic candidate for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives when someone approached the victim from behind and shot him.

Chris Visco, Rabb’s campaign manager, told Philly.com the victim had told Rabb he was going to be a poll worker during Tuesday’s primary election, but also expressed interest in volunteering for Rabb’s campaign. Visco added the victim died with a piece of Rabb campaign literature in his hand.

“One of the people that was with (Rabb) handed him a piece of literature, took his phone number, and another young man came up behind him and shot him execution style in the head,” Visco told WPVI. Former U.S. Senator, 90, Marrying a MAN 20 Years After Wife’s Death

HarriswoffordFormer Sen. Harris Wofford, 90, is set to marry a man at the end of this month, 20 years after the death of his wife.

In a column written in The New York Times, the former Pennsylvania senator wrote that after his wife died when he was 70, he didn’t expect to fall in love again and remarry.

After the death of his wife, he wrote he “felt grateful to be alive, lucky to have many friends and family members, and glad for a challenging assignment from President Clinton involving national service” . . .

At the end of this month, Wofford and Charlton, ages 90 and 40, will “join hands, vowing to be bound together.”

Wofford served as special assistant for civil rights to former President John F. Kennedy and adviser to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (Read more from “Former U.S. Senator, 90, Marrying a MAN 20 Years After Wife’s Death” HERE)

CDC Official Warned Staff of Health, Safety Risks During Influx of Illegal Alien Minors

4556668580_e7c724750b_bA government official warned employees deploying for the influx of illegal immigrant minors about health and safety risks because the new arrivals would have tuberculosis and some were young adults—not children—like the Obama administration proclaimed, according to records obtained by Judicial Watch. “We might as well plan on many of the kids having TB,” states a June 26, 2014 guidance e-mail from a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) environmental health scientist, Alaric C. Denton, as the agency prepared to handle the crisis. “Most of these kids are not immunized, so we need to make sure all our staff are immunized.” Denton, who is stationed at the CDC headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, predicts in the directive that the agency will be overwhelmed pretty quickly and that screening requirements will be hard to keep up with.

Judicial Watch had to sue the CDC’s umbrella agency, the Department of Health and Human Services, (HHS) for the records. Though chunks have been redacted, the documents contradict the Obama administration’s public statements dismissing possible health and safety risks created by the tens of thousands of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) fleeing violence in Central America. The CDC official reveals in the documents obtained by JW as a result of the lawsuit that “some of these kids are not really kids they are young adults, and we should be wary of personal safety.” JW reported this early on, when the first group of UACs arrived through the Mexican border in the summer of 2014. Homeland Security sources directly involved with the mess told JW that holding centers were jam-packed, rampant with diseases and sexually active teenagers. A veteran Border Patrol officer who heads the agency’s Tucson sector quickly established that many of the UACs were not little kids but rather 17-year-olds with possible ties to gang members in the U.S. (Read more from “CDC Official Warned Staff of Health, Safety Risks During Influx of Illegal Alien Minors” HERE)

Prince Employed C.S. Lewis’ Line of Reasoning in Defense of Jesus’ Claims

Prince_at_CoachellaPrince fans may be surprised to learn the role faith played in his life. The pop star reportedly read the Bible consistently and thought deeply about man’s place in the world . . .

The singer, who became a Jehovah’s Witness in 2001, employed a similar line of reasoning to Christian apologist C.S. Lewis, who famously observed that based on the claims He made about Himself, Jesus was either a “lunatic, liar or Lord.”

While the lyrics in several of Prince’s songs were sexual, many others had allusions to Christianity. Regarding sexuality, Prince told V Magazine, “We are sensual beings, the way God created us.”

A 2013 biographer noted while the singer was sexual he was “ultimately very conservative.” In 2008, while gay marriage was being debated in California and across the country, he voiced his opposition to it.

The singer chided Democrats for the notion that, “You can do whatever you want,” then tapping on his Bible and making reference to God judging the earth for sexual depravity in the past, apparently either in the time of Noah or Sodom and Gomorrah.

One of his most popular songs, Let’s Go Crazy (1984), begins with the artist accompanied by an organ solo speaking in pastor-like tones, “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called Life. Electric word life, it means forever and that’s a mighty long time. But I’m here to tell you, there’s something else: The after world. A world of never ending happiness You can always see the sun, day or night.” (Read more from “Prince Employed C.S. Lewis’ Line of Reasoning in Defense of Jesus’ Claims” HERE)

Obama Plans 250 More U.S. Troops for Syria, Boosting Force to 300

President Barack Obama will announce on Monday he plans to send as many as 250 additional U.S. troops to Syria, a sharp increase in the American presence working with local Syrian forces fighting Islamic State militants, U.S. officials said.

The deployment, which will increase U.S. forces in Syria to about 300, aims to accelerate recent gains against Islamic State and appears to reflect growing confidence in the ability of U.S.-backed forces inside Syria and Iraq to claw back territory from the hardline Sunni Islamist group.

Obama will explain his decision in a speech at 11:25 a.m. (0925 GMT) in Hanover, where he discussed the Syria crisis with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Sunday. They will meet with other major European leaders after his remarks.

Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, controls the cities of Mosul in Iraq and Raqqa in Syria and is proving a potent threat abroad, claiming credit for major attacks in Paris in November and Brussels in March.

While Obama has resisted putting U.S. troops into Syria, where a five-year civil war has killed at least 250,000 people, he sent 50 U.S. special operations forces to Syria last year in what U.S. officials described as a “counterterrorism” mission rather than an effort to tip the scales in the war. Sanders Campaign’s New Strategy on Superdelegates Leaves Some Unimpressed

21668553091_35c4f5815b_b (1)By Joseph Tanfani. Retired teachers Rosie Skomitz and Ron Stouffer, part of the raucous crowd that packed an old theater here last week to cheer on a Bernie Sanders revolution, have no love for Democratic superdelegates, the party insiders who have helped Hillary Clinton pad her lead in the race for the nomination for president.

“It takes votes away from people and gives them to the elite,” Skomitz said, summing up the typical complaint from the Sanders faithful that the nomination process is undemocratic.

But as Sanders falls further behind Clinton in amassing delegates who will choose the nominee, some of his supporters have replaced their criticism and occasional outright virulence with appeals to those Democratic elites — some of whom have long memories.

“You’re trying to woo us now, but we remember when you were trashing us,” said former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, one of 21 superdelegates from the state, the largest of five that hold primaries Tuesday.

When Sanders was winning primaries in places like Michigan and Colorado, he and his supporters criticized superdelegates — Democratic leaders who can support a candidate of their choosing — as exemplary of a rigged system that robbed voters of their voice. In petitions, emails and some nasty messages on social media, thousands of Sanders backers demanded that those delegates follow the lead of their states’ voters. Sanders Pressured to Quit White House Race as Clinton Weighs VP Picks

By Jim Mannion. Bernie Sanders fended off pressure Sunday to bow out of the race for the White House, as his rival, Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton, weighs potential runningmates.

The New York Times reported that Clinton’s advisers and allies have begun extensive discussions on a potential vice presidential candidate, and are putting together a list of 15 to 20 prospects.

Clinton has described what sort of person would fit the bill, and has set objectives for the search, the Times said.

And although her options vary depending on who her Republican opponent is and other factors in a still fluid race, she is open to an all-female ticket, advisers told the Times.

Team Clinton has not ruled out for consideration is Senator Elizabeth Warren, a darling of the left who has yet to endorse Clinton, advisers told the Times. (Read more from “Sanders Pressured to Quit White House Race as Clinton Weighs VP Picks” HERE)

Fox News Host Just Revealed Trump’s ‘Only’ Pick for VP

hqdefaultFox News host Bill O’Reilly believes he has the perfect candidate for Donald Trump to choose as a vice president if Trump wants to win the November general election.

Former Pres. George W. Bush press secretary Dana Perino was a guest on O’Reilly’s program Thursday. She was asked who Trump’s vice president choice should be . . .

The O’Reilly Factor host then jumped in and offered emphatically who that person should be.

“There’s only one choice for vice president if Donald Trump wants to win the White House. Only one person,” O’Reilly said. “Gov. Susana Martinez of New Mexico. That is the only choice if Mr. Trump, with all due respect, wants to be president. He must give it to the governor of New Mexico” . . .

“She’s very bright, she is a Republican conservative in a state that would go, you know, it’s not a lot of electoral votes, but if he can convince Gov. Martinez to be on the second, that will help him immensely,” O’Reilly said . . .

As O’Reilly observed, Martinez could help Trump in two demographics where he is weak — with women and with Hispanics. A Gallup poll published earlier this month found 70 percent of women holding an unfavorable view of the GOP front-runner. Additionally, in a Washington Post/Univision poll taken earlier this year, 80 percent of Hispanic voters have an unfavorable opinion about Trump.
