Cop Taunts Would-Be Killer With Lube on Way to Prison: ‘You Are Going to Need a Lot of This’

A police officer taunted the Jacksonville man who shot him multiple times last year by taking out a tube of K-Y Jelly personal lubricant in court Wednesday and saying, “You are going to need a lot of this,” local reports said.

Kevin Rojas, then 19, shot the undercover police officer three times during a 2016 traffic stop, including once in the face, the Florida Times-Union reported.

The critically-wounded officer, who was taking his son to school during the incident, returned fire but did not hit Rojas. His son was not injured.

Local reports did not identify the undercover officer.

In October, Rojas was found guilty of numerous felonies, including attempted first-degree murder, grand theft auto, attempted manslaughter, two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. These Protesters Finally Prove Trump Right – They Got Paid

Organizers with the left-leaning group Housing Works told protesters they must “risk arrest” in order to be reimbursed for airfare to Washington, D.C., according to an internal email obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

“We will transport, house and feed you, and deal with all legal support. Caveat: if you are far away from DC and expensive to transport, we can probably only fly you if you can risk arrest,” the internal email told supporters.

The group organized a large protest on Capitol Hill against the Republican-led Tax Reform measure in the Senate Tuesday, and will return Thursday, Dec. 5 to ensure that the measure doesn’t pass the upper chamber of Congress.

“The Rs voted and fled the room, but were snagged by reporters in the hallway, surrounded by bird-doggers, and shamed for their disgraceful votes,” the group said about the protests.

Airline Glitch Could Leave Thousands of Holiday Flights Stranded Without Pilots

More than 15,000 scheduled American Airlines flights in December are currently without sufficient crew due to a computer glitch that gave too many pilots time off during the holiday season.

Dennis Tajer, a spokesman for the Allied Pilots Association said the glitch affected flights scheduled from Dec. 17 to Dec. 31.

The scheduling snafu is currently affecting flights from some of American Airlines largest hubs, including airports in New York, Miami, Dallas, Boston, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City and Charlotte, North Carolina, according to a company memo obtained by Bloomberg and CNBC.

Tajer said the airline’s scheduling software went haywire.

“The airline is a 24/7 op,” he said. “The system went from responsibly scheduling everybody to becoming Santa Claus to everyone.”

“The computer said, ‘Hey ya’ll. You want the days off? You got it.’”

American Airlines spokesman Matt Miller said the airline is working to ensure no flights are canceled during the holiday rush, saying its pilots are being offered 150 percent of their hourly rate to fill open trips.

“We have reserve pilots to help cover flying in December, and we are paying pilots who pick up certain open trips 150 percent of their hourly rate — as much as we are allowed to pay them per the contract,” Miller said.

“We will work with the APA to take care of our pilots and ensure we get our customers to where they need to go over the holidays.”

However, the APA, which represents 15,000 American pilots, filed a grievance against the airline.

The union said the proposed solution of offering pilots time-and-a-half violates its labor pact.

“This is certainly not routine,” Tajer said. “This is a crisis right now, and in that crisis, they’ve gone solo.”

American Airlines isn’t the first airline to mismanage the scheduling for its pilots.

Budget airline Ryanair was forced to cancel 2,000 European flights in September after too many of its pilots took their annual leave.

It’s unclear at the moment how American Airline’s bottom line will be affected by the unexpected increase in labor costs over the holiday.

“Call Me by Your Name,” which opened nationwide Thanksgiving weekend, is about an older man’s affair with a 17-year-old boy. And while the movie is garnering rave reviews from urbane elites, their acclamations about the storyline are not quite accurate.

This is not a romantic tale about the awakening of homosexual desire in and between two men: It is a story about a man and boy whose relationship sparks homoeroticism and flirtation, which then turns romantic and carnal.

Summed up in a single word, the movie is about pederasty . . .

The stunning hypocrisy of the left is revealed in its promotion of this movie as an “Oscar contender,” at a point in history where real-life Hollywood celebrities, Washington VIP politicos and other powerful men find their careers lying in ruins––or on the verge of ruin––for precisely the type of behavior this movie glorifies.

Recriminations from recent alleged sexually inappropriate behavior, or tales sexual indiscretions exhumed from long ago, have resulted in a huge public outcry against men in positions of power who opportunistically seek to satiate illicit sexual cravings. African Migrants Captured by Libyan Gangs Were ‘Cooked Like Kebabs’

A former Nigerian government official has come forward to tell the story of how Libyan slave traders captured African migrants, and cooked them “like kebabs.”

Former minister of culture for Nigeria Femi Fani-Kayode said many migrants from Africa traveled to the Mediterranean to improve their lives but ended up being enslaved instead, International Business Times reported Wednesday.

Three out of four people captured by these gangs hail from southern Nigeria, Fani-Kayode said. Nigeria has the largest Christian population in Africa, according to Pew Research Center.

“75% of those sold into slavery in Libya who have their organs harvested, bodies mutilated and who are roasted like suya [a kebab] are from southern Nigeria,” Fani-Kayode wrote. “Roasted alive! Cliven Bundy Refuses to Leave Jail Amid Ongoing Trial

Cliven Bundy, the 71-year-old rancher who sparked a national debate over states’ rights, refused a federal judge’s offer to be released from jail during his ongoing trial on Wednesday.

Bundy, who engaged in an armed standoff with government agents over a cattle round-up in 2014, turned down the judge’s option of house arrest while others involved in the standoff are still jailed awaiting trial.

A federal grand jury in Nevada indicted Cliven and four others on 16 charges related to the armed standoff near his ranch over unpaid grazing fees last year.

U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro, meantime, said Ammon Bundy and co-defendant Ryan Payne can be freed Thursday to home detention.

Lauer Sexted Intern, Other Women at NBC; Video Catches Disgraced Reporter in the Act

By Nicole Darrah. Matt Lauer, the former NBC News anchor who was fired for “inappropriate sexual behavior,” has been accused of sexting network employees — including an intern.

Lauer, according to a New York Post report Wednesday night, allegedly sent “lewd messages and revealing pictures” to women working at NBC.

One of those women, an intern, is believed to have been the staffer who brought the news anchor’s career with the company tumbling down after she approached executives about an incident that allegedly occurred with Lauer during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

The intern allegedly provided a photo “which was a major part of the evidence which is why the firing came so quickly.” It “was so damning that they had no other option but to fire him,” a source told the Post. The photo, sources told the Post, “showed incontrovertible proof of inappropriate sexual behavior on his part.”

Matt Lauer Caught Telling Meredith Vieira to ‘Keep Bending Over Like That’ in 2006 Video Clip

By Nicole Darrah. In a video unearthed by TMZ on Wednesday, former NBC News star Matt Lauer is seen and heard on camera whispering inappropriate comments to his then-co-anchor Meredith Vieira.

“Keep bending over like that, it’s a nice view,” Lauer told Vieira on the set of “The Today Show,” reportedly in October 2006.

The comments from Lauer, according to TMZ, were made when the NBC morning show cut to commercial — however, a local affiliate kept the show live on air with the network’s in-studio camera feed.

Lauer’s co-anchor in the video was initially identified as Katie Couric.

Amazon Just Released an AI-Powered Camera

Amazon’s newest product won’t tell you a joke or turn on your lights.

The new DeepLens camera is instead custom-built for artificial intelligence developers, who will be able to build AI systems on Amazon Web Services and have them run on the camera, according to the company. This means the camera itself will be able to recognize objects, look for faces, or label what actions people are doing, all without needing to call back to Amazon’s servers . . .

But the camera still has some limitations; it can detect if there are faces in the camera’s sight, but to process who those people are, it will need to call back to an Amazon cloud service that’s already been trained to know specific faces. Special Counsel Delays Grand Jury Testimony Amid Signs of Flynn Deal Talks

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team has postponed an anticipated grand jury testimony linked to his investigation into Michael Flynn amid growing indications of possible plea deal discussions.

Additional witnesses were expected to be questioned soon including a public relations consultant hired by Flynn’s lobbying firm who was given an early December date deadline to appear before the grand jury, according to a person at the company.

Ahead of the delay, the impression was that the testimony needed to happen soon, the source said . . .

Barbie Promotes LGBT Agenda With ‘Love Wins’ T-Shirts

As part of its marketing program, the famous toy doll Barbie, made by Mattel, is going gay and advertising a pro-sodomy agenda by wearing a t-shirt that reads, in rainbow-emblazoned letters, “Love Wins,” which is the phrase promoted by LGBT activists and their allies.

The apparently “alternative lifestyle” Barbies wearing the “Love Wins” shirts are shown on the official @BarbieStyle Instagram account. This account is the project of Kim Culmone, Barbie’s vice president of design, and Robert Blest, Barbie’s director of design, according to Racked.

In response to the new campaign, The Washington Blade reported, “Barbie took a stand for LGBT rights in an Instagram post featuring the doll wearing a ‘Love Wins’ shirt.

“The post was part of celebrating Los Angeles-based fashion blogger Aimee Song who just got her own Barbie doll.”
