Rep. Issues Serious Warning for Rod Rosenstein

By Townhall. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray [went to] Capitol Hill Thursday morning to testify about the FBI’s conduct during the 2016 presidential election. The House Judiciary Committee members had plenty to ask the two men about the recent IG report that exposed the anti-Trump bias of some FBI agents. One of those agents, Peter Strzok, met with committee members behind closed doors this week.

The committee is also fed up with the apparent resistance from the DOJ and FBI for documents related to the agencies’ conduct, specifically whether informants spied on the Trump campaign. . .

Still, other committee members were impatient for Wray and Rosenstein to hurry up and provide whatever evidence they may have that can once and for all conclude the investigation. . .

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) grilled Rosenstein about keeping information from Congress and for directing Strzok to keep quiet during their meetings. . .

“Now Mr. Jordan, I am the deputy attorney general of the United States. Okay?” Rosenstein snapped in obvious annoyance. “I am not the person doing the redacting. I am responsible for responding to your concerns, as I am … So your statement that I am personally keeping information from you, trying to conceal information —”

“You’re the boss, Mr. Rosenstein,” Jordan interrupted.

Maxine Waters Abruptly Cancels All Public Appearances, Here’s the Serious Reason Why

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) announced Thursday that she is cancelling events due to a serious death threat and “hostile mail” she has been receiving.

“As the President has continued to lie and falsely claim that I encouraged people to assault his supporters, while also offering a veiled threat that I should ‘be careful’, even more individuals are leaving (threatening) messages and sending hostile mail to my office,” she said.

“There was one very serious death threat made against me on Monday from an individual in Texas which is why my planned speaking engagements in Texas and Alabama were cancelled this weekend,” she added. “This is just one in several very serious threats the United States Capitol Police are investigating in which individuals threatened to shoot, lynch, or cause me serious bodily harm.” . . .

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Rep. Waters told her supporters. . .

Recently, protestors disrupted Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen’s dinner last week and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant in Lexington, Virginia on Friday because she worked for Trump. Analyst: Travel Ban Ruling Is a ‘Fantastic Fulfillment of Osama Bin Laden’s Vision’

On MSNBC’s Tuesday broadcast of “Deadline: White House,” former 2008 McCain presidential campaign manager and current MSNBC political analyst Steve Schmidt reacted to the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the Trump administration’s travel ban by ranting that Trump had fulfilled “Osama bin Laden’s vision” for America by implementing the restrictions.

Despite not all countries on the travel ban list being Muslim-majority nations, Schmidt was still convinced that the ban imposes a religious test on Muslims who want to enter the United States. . .

SCHMIDT: “Well, you know, I’m thinking about a former special agent of the FBI ?Ali Soufan. Ali Soufan, with John O’Neal came very, very, very close to disrupting the attacks on 9/11. He was a Lebanese immigrant and a Muslim. Is America better off with Ali Soufan here? I would argue he is.

“And so, today was a fantastic fulfillment of Osama bin Laden’s vision by Donald J. Trump. What Osama bin Laden hoped to provoke was a war of civilization, a war between the West and one billion Muslims. And so, what Donald Trump and this Muslim ban signaled to the world is that Muslims are not welcome here, that this is — whether the conservative justices say that, in fact, this is about executive power — the President’s clear intent was to impose a religious test, and that is as fundamentally un-American as anything that he’s done over the course of this presidency.

“The only force in the world that has the power to defeat extremist Islamic radicalism is moderate Islam and moderate Islam was dealt a big setback today by this shortsighted, dangerous policy that, again, abrogates all the fine traditions of our country from freedom of religion to welcoming the renewal of the country’s life blood with immigration.”

Kim Jong Un Orders Another Military Officer Executed by Firing Squad. Here’s Why

By The Blaze. North Korea has reportedly carried out the public execution of a high-ranking military official by firing squad, at the orders of leader Kim Jong Un.

Lieutenant General Hyon Ju-song was found guilty of profiting the enemy, abusing authority, and engaging in anti-Party acts after being accused of distributing extra rations of food and fuel to his troops. . .

Korean online newspaper Daily NK reported the incident, saying that Hyon had been on the fast track to success prior to his execution. He had risen through the ranks after starting out as an enlisted soldier, to eventually holding the official position of director of the inspection division of the Ministry of People’s Armed Forces General Rear Services Bureau.

But Daily NK’s source said that, “While checking the oil supplies for the Sohae Satellite Launching Station during the comprehensive inspections of wartime supplies on April 10, Hyon stated, ‘We no longer have to suffer and tighten our belts to make rockets or nuclear weapons.’ This was seen as an abuse of authority and a treasonous statement that opposed the Party’s military-first policy.

“[Hyon] gave out instructions to send out 1 ton of fuel, 580 kg of rice, and 750 kg of corn to military officers at the Launching Station and their families. North Korea Upgrades Nuclear Facility Despite Trump-Kim Summit, Satellite Images Show

By USA Today. North Korea is upgrading a major nuclear research facility despite President Donald Trump’s claim that leader Kim Jong Un has vowed to disarm, according to new satellite images and a research paper published by a North Korea monitoring group.

Experts at 38 North, a website affiliated with the Stimson Center in Washington D.C. devoted to analysis of North Korea, concluded the images show that “improvements to the infrastructure at North Korea’s Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center are continuing at a rapid pace.”

The satellite images are from June 21.

That’s less than two weeks after Trump boasted of a diplomatic breakthrough with Pyongyang over its nuclear weapons program after decades of hostility.

Trump and Kim signed a joint declaration at a summit in Singapore on June 12 and pledged to work toward peace and to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula. “We’re ready to write a new chapter between our nations,” Trump said at a news conference following the summit. Onlookers Who Recorded Drowning Man on Cellphone, Taunted Him as He Went Under, Won’t Be Prosecuted

A group of four minors and one adult were charged last year after they recorded video of a man drowning in a central Florida pond and taunted him as he struggled to stay afloat — and even as he went below the surface for the final time. . .

Police said the individuals in question were on the bank of a pond in Cocoa last July when Jamel Dunn, 31, walked into the water and soon was struggling.

At one point Dunn was clearly heard crying out before his head went under the water — and that was the moment the observers seemed to enjoy most, as they responded with laughter and more mocking commentary. . .

The onlookers heard in the video were charged with violating an obscure law titled Failure to Notify the Medical Examiner of a Death, the station said, but after 11 months State Attorney Phil Archer said there was no way to move forward with prosecutions.

ACLU Gets Prayer Banned From a County’s Meetings – Here’s What the Supreme Court Just Said

The Supreme Court announced their decision Thursday on whether to hear an appeal to a ban on public prayer before official meetings in the county of Rowan in North Carolina.

In one of the last decisions by the court before it adjourned for the summer, they refused to hear an appeal to a lower court ruling upholding the ban on prayer before meetings of the Rowan Country Board of Commissioners.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) celebrated the decision from their social media account as a victory against what they considered an unconstitutional establishment of religion.

“The Supreme Court denied a request to hear Lund v. Rowan County, our challenge to a troubling government prayer practice that pressured the public to join in prayers that overwhelmingly advanced beliefs specific to one faith,” they tweeted. . .

The ACLU represented three Rowan County residents and filed the suit against the county over the public prayer. The county superintendents would pray on a rotating basis, or observe a moment of silence, but the ACLU argued that this was unconstitutional because the prayers overwhelmingly represented the Christian faith. FREAKING OUT: Listen to Democrats Have a Meltdown Over Justice Kennedy’s Retirement

By Townhall. It’s done. The day is here. Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy announced he’s retiring. It will be effective on July 31. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said a vote to fill the vacancy would occur this fall, providing an extra incentive for Republican to turn out and vote in the 2018 elections. As you can imagine, the Left is having a full-blown meltdown. We’re primed to have a solid conservative majority on the Supreme Court.

So, just watching MSNBC right now, juveniles might be executed, abortion rights are going to be rolled back, and America is going to descend into the dark ages. Of course, this is all dubious and most if it pure crap. Over at the Democratic National Committee, panic gripped staffers. . .

Trump Begins Supreme Court Search to Replace Anthony Kennedy

By BBC. US President Donald Trump has said the search for a replacement for retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy will “begin immediately”.

“We have to pick one that’s going to be there for 40 years, 45 years,” Mr Trump said at a rally in North Dakota.

The retirement of Mr Kennedy, a conservative who sided with liberals on many votes, gives Mr Trump the chance to shift the top court’s balance more to the right for decades to come. . .

He made the announcement on Wednesday, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family after 30 years on the top court. Mr Trump later praised Mr Kennedy – who held the pivotal vote on many key cases – as “a great justice of the Supreme Court”.

“Hopefully we are going to pick somebody who will be as outstanding,” he told reporters at the White House. The judge’s retirement gives Mr Trump his second Supreme Court pick since he became president, and he has said he will choose from a list of 25 conservative candidates. Obama-Loving Netflix Under Investigation for Distributing Child Porn

By PJ Media. An Argentinian movie that Netflix offers called Desire is upsetting subscribers because of what looks like illegal content. Viewers on Facebook have shared a clip of the movie and are calling it outright child porn. In the opening scene, two little girls who look to be about seven and nine are playing “horse” on pillows. The older girl begins to obviously masturbate as the younger child watches. The camera even takes this scene into a closeup of the child’s face in slow motion, moving up and down and panting like a porn star. The scene is graphic and includes an orgasm. The film is directed by Diego Kaplan.

PJ Media reported it to the FBI and the Department of Justice, along with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which has launched an investigation. . .

The clip is making its way around Facebook, but anyone sharing it should be aware that it is a crime to circulate child porn, even if you are trying to get help for the child. Any further distribution revictimizes the child, and because of that, PJM will not share the video or photos from the movie that show the victims’ faces. The only thing the public can do is report it to the authorities.

According to the Department of Justice, child porn is clearly defined. . .

Notably, the legal definition of sexually explicit conduct does not require that an image depict a child engaging in sexual activity. A picture of a naked child may constitute illegal child pornography if it is sufficiently sexually suggestive. Additionally, the age of consent for sexual activity in a given state is irrelevant; any depiction of a minor under 18 years of age engaging in sexually explicit conduct is illegal.

Netflix Faces an Investigation Over ‘Child Pornography’ Scenes in an Argentinian Movie

By The Daily Mail. Netflix is facing an investigation over claims that a film on its U.S. platform shows child pornography, it has emerged.

The Argentinian movie Desearas, meaning Desire, is said to show young girls, aged around seven and nine, in a suggestive scene involving pillows. . .

The 2017 film was directed by Diego Kaplan, according to IMDB, where it has earned an average four stars out of ten from user reviews.

Earlier this year the film Show Dogs faced a backlash over claims that some of the scenes resembled sexual abuse.

Poll: 72 Percent of Americans Believe Establishment Media Deliberately Report Fake News

More than two-thirds of Americans, a full 72 percent, believe “traditional news outlets knowingly report false or misleading stories,” according to a Axios/SurveyMonkey poll. . .

A full 92 percent of Republicans believe the media intentionally mislead the public. Independents are not far behind, with 79 percent. Even a majority of Democrats, 52 percent, agree, with only 46 percent disagreeing. . .

No fair-minded journalist can look at these numbers and not be blown away by the fact that the establishment media have so lost the trust of the American that a breathtaking 72 percent now believe (and for good reason) fake news is reported deliberately. . .

Nevertheless, as a means to bury this bombshell of bad news, the left-wing Axios focuses instead on the Republican number of 92 percent, as if to say this is a partisan problem, when there is no question the media have a massive and well-deserved credibility problem all across the board. . .

Clinton Campaigner, Head of Prominent Anti-Rape Charity, Arrested for Trying to Arrange Rape of Two Year Olds

By The Daily Mail. The head of a charity that campaigns against sexual violence has been arrested in New York for child pornography and allegedly trying to meet with children as young as two for sex.

Joel Davis, 22, is accused of trying to set up sexual encounters between himself and young children, as well as soliciting an undercover FBI agent to send sexually explicit videos of minors. . .

Davis is the chairman of the International Campaign to Stop Rape and Gender Violence in Conflict – an organization devoted to ending sexual violence.

Davis allegedly told the agents that he was sexually interested in children of all ages. He is accused of sending the agents sexually explicit photographs of infants and toddlers, including some of the children engaged in sex acts with adults.

The 22-year-old allegedly arranged to meet the nine-year-old daughter of one of the undercover agents and with the purported two-year-old daughter of the officer’s girlfriend. FBI: Clinton Campaign Official Arrested on Child Rape Charges

By Your News Wire. One of Hillary Clinton’s campaign officials was arrested Tuesday on child sex abuse charges, the FBI has confirmed.

Joel Davis was caught in possession of explicit child sex images and had attempted to get access to children as young as 2 years old for sex. . .

Prosecutors say Davis repeatedly asked the undercover agent to take naked and sexually explicit pictures and videos of the children and to send them to him.

Following his arrest, Davis allegedly admitted to officers that he had abused a 13-year-old boy in the past and that he kept child porn images on his phone.

‘Having started an organization that pushed for the end of sexual violence, Davis displayed the highest degree of hypocrisy by his alleged attempts to sexually exploit multiple minors,’ FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge William F.
