BOMBSHELL: Ex-Intel Head Admits Obama Responsible For Russian Collusion Investigation

James Clapper, President Obama’s director of national intelligence, was defending his boss’s legacy when he responded in a CNN interview to President Trump’s claim that the previous administration did nothing about Russian meddling in U.S. elections.

But in the process, he essentially affirmed Obama is responsible for the claims of Trump-Russia collusion that have roiled Washington for two years but were debunked by special counsel Robert Mueller. . .

The intelligence community assessment to which he refers addressed Russia meddling in general. And that was the special counsel’s task as well. But it’s clear that Obama officials, including Clapper and CIA Director John Brennan, were promoting the Trump-collusion allegation. And that claim was the focus of Mueller’s probe.

[Clapper stated,] “If it weren’t for President Obama, we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set off a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today, notably, special counsel Mueller’s investigation. President Obama is responsible for that, and it was he who tasked us to do that intelligence community assessment in the first place. I think it’s an important point when it comes to critiquing President Obama.” (Read more about Obama’s Russian Collusion Investigation HERE)

Keep Your Hands to Yourself, Grandpa: Another Accuser Comes Forward Against Joe Biden

By Townhall. There were too many photos of Joe Biden acting creepily for him to have just one accuser. These things come in waves, usually in threes; so don’t be shocked if another woman comes forward alleging that the former vice president touched them in an inappropriate manner. Lucy Flores was a 2014 candidate for Nevada lieutenant governor’s office. Biden paid her campaign a visit and that’s when he smelled her hair, touched her shoulders, and kissed on the back of her head. . .

[W]e now have another accuser who alleges the vice president got a bit handsy at a 2009 fundraiser in Connecticut (via The Hill) [emphasis mine]:

A Connecticut woman said Monday that Joe Biden touched her inappropriately and rubbed noses with her while at a 2009 political fundraiser in Greenwich, the second such allegation against the former vice president in the past week.

“It wasn’t sexual, but he did grab me by the head,” Amy Lappos told The Hartford Courant on Monday.

He put his hand around my neck and pulled me in to rub noses with me. When he was pulling me in, I thought he was going to kiss me on the mouth.”

Biden Is Facing a Second Accusation

By Fox News. A second woman has come forward to accuse former Vice President Joe Biden of inappropriate touching, further complicating the prospective presidential candidate’s political future and intensifying what has become a social media reckoning on his previous public behavior with women.

Amy Lappos, 43, first told the Hartford Courant in an interview published Monday that Biden grabbed her during a $1,000-per-plate October 2009 fundraiser for Connecticut Democrat Rep. Jim Himes. Lappos, who initially posted about the episode on Facebook on Sunday, was working as an aide for Himes at the time.

“It wasn’t sexual, but he did grab me by the head,” Lappos told the paper. “He put his hand around my neck and pulled me in to rub noses with me. When he was pulling me in, I thought he was going to kiss me on the mouth.”

A Biden spokesman referred Fox News’ requests for comment on the new allegation to Biden’s earlier statements, in which Biden and his team strongly denied accusations the former vice president acted inappropriately around women. Still, they vowed to listen to any allegations or concerns. . .

In a statement to Fox News Monday afternoon, Lappos said she was speaking out “because I am so disappointed in my party, the Democratic Party, and the way we have treated Lucy Flores. … Biden’s statement in response to Lucy’s article was not only disturbing it was disgusting. I stand my Lucy and any woman with the courage to come forward regarding men and they way they treat women.” (Read more from “Biden Is Facing a Second Accusation” HERE)

Ilhan Omar Braces for Investigation Results

Freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., marched into Congress demanding the House change its rules so she could dress as she wanted and later made anti-Semitic comments that prompted a resolution.

Now she’s facing an investigation into complaints she spent campaign funds on her divorce lawyer as well as personal travel. . .

“The complaints were filed last year, while Omar cruised to election to the House of Representatives, by a Republican state lawmaker, Rep. Steve Drazkowski. In referring Omar to the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board, Drazkowski alleged that Omar improperly spent close to $6,000 in campaign funds for personal use, including payments to her divorce attorney and for travel to Boston and Estonia,” the report said. . .

Drazkowski has posted various updates on his website, the report said, including “quotations from formal notifications he said he had received from the campaign finance board in which the panel apparently informed Drazkowski that it had commenced the investigation into the two matters.”

One notification said: “The Omar Committee’s 2017 year-end report shows several noncampaign disbursements for out-of-state travel for Rep. Omar to attend various events. … The information on the committee’s 2017 year-end report does not indicate how attendance at these events would have helped Rep. Omar in the performance of her legislative duties.” (Read more from “Ilhan Omar Braces for Investigation Results” HERE)

Pakistan Is Still Supporting Insurgency to Topple the Afghan Government

Exclusive interview of Pasbanan with US army retired official

Arranged by: Shershah Nawabi

How do you define insurgency and insurgent groups?

I define an insurgency similarly to that described in the U.S. Army Field Manual 3-24. Insurgencies arise when parts of the population grow dissatisfied with the status quo and are willing to fight to change the conditions to their favor, using both violent and nonviolent means to effect a change in the prevailing authority. An insurgency is the organized use of subversion and violence to seize, nullify, or challenge political control of a region.

Although the Taliban are using classical insurgency tactics, what is happening in Afghanistan is not an insurgency. It is a proxy war being conducted by Pakistan using the Taliban to gain a dominating political influence in Afghanistan in the pursuit of Pakistani national aims. Pakistan created the Taliban in the 1990s for that purpose and Pakistan has sustained and supported the Taliban since 2001 for the same reason.

According to your experience how these groups are been made and how they manage to grow?

Again, I think FM 3-24 provides a useful guide as to how insurgencies grow or fail. It is based on legitimacy, that is, acceptance of authority by society. The population of a country decides who has the legitimacy to establish the rules and the government for that society. A population’s values and cultural norms will determine who that society perceives as a legitimate authority. Both the insurgency and the country’s government attempt to control the population by some mixture of consent and coercion.

Here we must distinguish between an insurgency and a proxy war. Although Afghans may have grievances with the Kabul government and may, at times, agree with certain positions held by the Taliban, the Taliban are not a movement indigenous to Afghanistan. As already stated, the Taliban are a creation of the Pakistani military and an instrument of Pakistani foreign policy. After the Taliban defeat in 2001, they were provided a safe haven in Pakistan, where an elaborate support infrastructure was established to provide recruitment, training, infiltration routes and medical treatment for Taliban fighters.

Do you believe that Afghanistan is a great platform for them to raise and have a high level of growth here?

The terrorist threats to Afghanistan come from the outside, either when those outside forces create instability inside Afghanistan or try to create a government in Afghanistan that hosts terrorists as Pakistan did with the Taliban in the 1990s when al Qaeda established a base in Afghanistan.

For example, there is a lot of concern now about the Islamic State in Afghanistan, which actually originates from and is sustained by Pakistan.

Members of the Pakistani Taliban (Tehrik-e Taleban Pakistan, TTP) began migrating to Afghanistan’s Nangarhar Province as “refugees” in 2010 after Pakistani military operations against the TTP in Orakzai and Khyber Agencies of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

It was those “refugees” who provided a foundation for the Islamic State. That base support was augmented by thousands of Pakistanis who fought for ISIS in Syria and returned starting in 2013.

In January 2015, the Islamic State of Khorasan Province (ISKP) was declared with former TTP commander Hafiz Saeed Khan of Orakzai as the leader, whose 12-member Shura had nine Pakistanis.

An ISKP support zone was set up in Pakistan adjacent to the Haqqani Network support zone.

What are the major aspects that the insurgency is growing in South Asia on a daily basis?

As stated above, it is not so much the growth of the insurgency as the growth of terrorism where the greatest focus should be placed, on Pakistan, not on Afghanistan.

The Taliban is a creation of Pakistan. Pakistan-based terrorist groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad are attacking India. The Pakistan-based Sunni supremacist group Jaish-ul-Adl attacks Iran. Pakistan also uses such extremist groups to suppress ethnic and religious minorities inside Pakistan.

It is that growing level of extremism and intolerance in Pakistan that should be of concern, which has been a threat to Afghanistan and will be the main contributor to instability in South Asia.

It is the direct result of official Pakistani policy.

The “Islamization” program initiated by Pakistani President Zia ul Haq in the late 1970s, which involved the proliferation of Islamic schools, “madrasas” and the promotion of Islamic law “Sharia,” was specifically designed to create national unity by suppressing ethnic separatism and religious diversity. Not surprisingly, radical groups have proliferated, becoming increasingly more extreme and intolerant.

The 1979 Iranian Shia revolution accelerated “Islamization” in Pakistan, for example, the 1985 formation of the Deobandi Sipah-e-Sahaba, an offshoot of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, founded to counter Shia influence in Pakistan.

In 1996 elements within the Sipah-e-Sahaba who did not believe the organization extreme enough left to form Lashkar-e-Jhangvi

Lashkar-e-Jhangvi al-Alami is a splinter group of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and a Pakistani partner for the Islamic State has conducted terrorist attacks inside Pakistan, primarily in Balochistan.

Nevertheless, successive Pakistani governments have found it useful to employ members of those groups as “non-state actors” in its foreign policy and as a paramilitary force to suppress domestic unrest. We are currently seeing that play out in Pakistan’s suppression of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement using the Taliban as enforcers for the Pakistani military. Ouch: AOC Tries to Dunk on Liz Cheney and It Backfires in a Big Way

[Ocasio-Cortez’s] latest media showcase occurred on MSNBC late last week, during with the freshman Congresswoman made all sorts of attention-grabbing assertions and comparisons — including advancing the notion that “environmental justice” must only be achieved alongside “economic justice,” which certainly won’t hlep dispel many skeptics’ suspicion that programs like the green new deal are less about addressing an urgent crisis, and more about redistributing wealth and amassing governmental control. Among other topics, she explained that the Tea Party is different than her movement because unlike those xenophobic white supremacists, she doesn’t call her opponents names:

Her point is correct, except for the fact that (a) President Roosevelt (who ignored the Washington-set precedent of serving a maximum of two consecutive terms) had been dead for roughly two years when the 22nd Amendment was passed by overwhelming and bipartisan Congressional majorities, and approximately six years by the time it was ratified by the states and implemented, and (b) even if it had been directed at FDR while he were still in office, the amendment only applied to future presidents. It’s also worth noting that Republican majorities were only able to introduce this ultimately-successful amendment because they’d won sweeping landslide victories in the 1946 midterm elections, winning control of both legislative chambers. Also, at least two Republican presidents opposed the amendment, with Ronald Reagan going so far as to urge its repeal. Some dutiful media acolytes are performing their own version of Trumpist ‘translations’ in order to ostensibly demonstrate how AOC was actually kind of correct, if you ignore the actual substance of her core claim.

Conservatives are popping popcorn over this spat, with some trollingly applauding her stance:

Pelosi’s Defense of Ilhan Omar Just Took an Interesting Turn

So, with the Mueller report being dropped over the weekend, the Ilhan Omar fiasco has been buried…for now. The Minnesota Democratic congresswoman has engulfed her party in an anti-Semitism pickle that exposed the cracks in the new House majority. It also showed that Speaker Nancy Pelosi is incapable of controlling the far left-wing elements within her own caucus. She caved.

Omar has a long history of peddling anti-Semitism. From tweeting about Israel’s hypnotic powers in 2012 to allegations of dual loyalty lobbed at supporters of the Jewish state, it’s been ugly. The dual loyalty fiasco is by far the worst example of explicit anti-Semitism peddled by Omar, one that she has yet to offer an apology. It’s not going to happen, of course. It did force House Democrats to vote on a resolution condemning anti-Semitism, but a closed-door meeting led to a rumble between Democrats who wanted to vote for a strong resolution to those who wanted to water it down because they didn’t want to single out Omar. It took days for the Left to get their act together and in the end; the resolution became an all-encompassing anti-bad things resolution that was straight trash.

Pelosi then had to do her job and defend Omar, which she did by pretty much calling her an idiot, saying she cannot be anti-Semitic because she doesn’t understand words. Again, if she’s that dense, why is she on a key house committee—Foreign Affairs—and no one should buy that so-called defense anyway. Omar has lived her for nearly a quarter-century. She’s been educated here. The way you know there’s no defense of Omar’s alleged bigotry is that the Left is going way over the top to defend her. We have Democrats downplaying the Holocaust. Yet, did Pelosi just gut her ‘Omar is a moron’ defense at AIPAC? She did say those who peddle anti-Semitism are anti-American (via NTK Network):

Without mentioning her by name, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took a swing at fellow House Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) for her recent string of anti-Semitic comments, declaring at AIPAC on Tuesday that “to be anti-Semitic is to be anti-American.”

Despite Trump’s Threat to Close Border, Mexico Won’t Militarize Its Southern Border to Stop Caravans

Mexico will not militarize its southern border to prevent Central American migrant caravans from moving through the country on their way to the United States, said Mexican Interior Secretary Olga Sanchez Cordero, according to The Hill.

Why is this an issue? President Donald Trump has threatened to completely close the border between the United States and Mexico if Mexico doesn’t do more to stop the large groups of illegal immigrants that travel through the country to the U.S. seeking asylum or illegal entry. . .

How is Mexico responding? Sanchez Cordero stated Mexico’s intention to “regulate and provide security to migrants from Central America,” The Hill reported, saying Mexico’s government is “not repressive.”

After President Trump made the border closing threat, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador did not take part in a war of words, saying “we’re not going to argue” and expressing a desire to maintain a good relationship with the U.S.

Lopez Obrador’s passive response drew criticism from political opponents in Mexico. National Action Party leader Marko Cortes called Lopez Obrador’s attitude “submissive, timid and cowardly.” (Read more from “Despite Trump’s Threat to Close Border, Mexico Won’t Militarize Its Southern Border to Stop Caravans” HERE)

Mom Fights off Mountain Lion That Was Attacking Her 7-Year-Old Son

By The Blaze. A Canadian mother didn’t hesitate to fight off a mountain lion that she found attacking her 7-year-old son in the family’s yard in Lake Cowichan, British Columbia.

The boy’s father, Kevin Bromley, told Global News that his wife, Chelsea Bromley, saved their son’s life when she jumped on top of the wild cat that had pinned her son to the ground.

“She jumped on top of this thing, but it just wouldn’t let go of Zack’s forearm, so she then had to pry this cougar’s jaw open,” Kevin Bromley said. “She told me she couldn’t do it for two or three seconds, but then she screamed ‘help’ and it just let go and ran off. And there was blood everywhere.” . . .

On Friday afternoon, Chelsea reportedly heard some commotion outside her home where Zack was playing. The Bromleys live in a gated community near a waterfront.

When Chelsea walked outside to investigate, she saw the young cat’s jaws clamped down on Zack’s arm. (Read more from “Mom Fights off Mountain Lion That Was Attacking Her 7-Year-Old Son” HERE)

Mother of Boy Mauled in Vancouver Island Cougar Attack Helped Fight Animal Off

By Global News. Seven-year-old Zack sustained injuries to his head, neck and arm in the attack, which happened Friday afternoon just outside of town while the boy’s mother was inside. . .

Bromley said Zack had gone to the waterfront outside their home, which is in a gated community on the west side of town near the Lakeview Park campground when a small cougar came at him. . .

Bromley said the hoodie Zack was wearing helped protect him from the cougar’s thrashing, but the animal then clamped its jaws on the boy’s forearm. That’s when his mom, Chelsea, heard the struggle and came rushing to her son’s rescue.

“She jumped on top of this thing, but it just wouldn’t let go of Zack’s forearm so she then had to pry this cougar’s jaw open,” Bromley said.

“She told me she couldn’t do it for two or three seconds but then she screamed ‘help,’ and it just let go and ran off. And there was blood everywhere.” (Read more from “Mother of Boy Mauled in Vancouver Island Cougar Attack Helped Fight Animal Off” HERE)

Stephen Baldwin Calls out Brother Alec for ‘Spirit of Hate’ Over Abortion Boycott

Actor Stephen Baldwin called out his brother Alec Baldwin for having a “spirit of hate” after the Saturday Night Live star signing a letter threatening to boycott the state of Georgia if Gov. Brian Kemp (R) signed a bill restricting abortion into law.

“avoided tweets like this long as I could,” Stephen Baldwin said in a social media post Monday. “Love will ultimately wins Jesus [Loves], but for so long I’ve sat back & trusted God as my own family members have perpetrated the spirit of hate … through abortion Mockery & blindness. #sad #Alec #hates #pray.”

. . .

Indeed, Alec Baldwin was one of many Hollywood stars who signed Alyssa Milano’s letter threatening a boycott of Georgia over H.B. 481, the “Heartbeat bill,” which would ban abortion after about six weeks, or after a heartbeat is detected in a fetus. Oklahoma Mother Murdered: Suspect Is Illegal Alien Deported 5 Times

Sanctuary cities have blood on their hands for not turning over known criminal aliens to ICE for deportation before they commit murder or more mayhem. That was evident in the recent case of Bambi Larson in San Jose, as well as many others in California. But the fact that we don’t hold the line at our border itself is the culprit for all the murders committed by illegal aliens who are able to re-enter the country, even after ICE successfully apprehends and deport them. That is sadly the tragic case of Paige Gomer, who was murdered last week in Canadian County, Oklahoma.

According to the Canadian County Sheriff’s department, Ramon Hector Martine Ontiveros, a 33-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, confessed to shooting Paige Gomer the night of March 21. She leaves behind a daughter who is separated from her mother permanently. Friends have set up a GoFundMe page to help care for her daughter.

The story is all too familiar. According to a statement form ICE, Ontiveros has been caught in the country illegally on five separate occasions between 2007 and 2013. The first three times he was encountered between March 2007 and April 2011, he was “voluntarily returned to Mexico.” The fourth time he was caught was on Oct. 6, 2012. After that encounter, “he was removed on an expedited removal order the next day.” Finally, he was caught a fifth time in December 2012 and was “criminally charged and convicted of illegal entry,” but served no prison time. He was deported on January 5, 2013. He must have evaded detection at some point later and remained in the country until he was arrested by Canadian County police for first-degree murder on March 22.

How can so many criminals enter again and again and never fear any consequences? Because Ontiveros agreed to voluntarily depart, he was not designated as a re-entrant, which carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison. However, when he was officially deported the fourth time, it should have triggered prison time for the subsequent re-entry.

This case is a poster child for Kate’s Law, a bill sponsored by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, mandating five years of prison time for all illegal re-entrants, with a sliding scale of severity for each subsequent re-entry. Right now, the border dynamic is win-win for illegal aliens. If they successfully evade Border Patrol, they achieve their goal, and if they are caught, they simply get sent back with no consequences, and come back again. It is baffling that the GOP-controlled Senate has declined to vote on this or similar legislation dealing with re-entrants, criminal aliens, and sanctuary cities.

Moreover, the case of Ontiveros, like so many criminal aliens who re-enter after deportation, perfectly illustrates the need for a border wall. While the border wall does not stop the lawfare of bogus asylum-seekers who deliberately surrender to the Border Patrol (because border agents feel compelled to bring them in from behind the fence), it would certainly help deter criminal elements who have been deported. Anyone with a criminal record will not want to meet a border agent and will have to attempt to gain entry surreptitiously. This is where the border wall helps.

But this completely avoidable murder also makes the case for the president to finally shut down the border and place a temporary moratorium on all applications for any immigration status at our land border. Try to imagine, as our Border Patrol is shut down by unprecedented flows of mass migration, how many of these dangerous criminals who have been deported over the years have taken advantage of the likely free ride across the border? How many more rapists and murderers have entered our country over the past six to nine months of this record flow?

Simon Rochel-Cervantes, an illegal alien from Mexico who spent 11 years in a Kansas facility for the rape of a child, is a perfect example. After serving his sentence, Rochel-Cervantes was deported back to Mexico on February 19. Guess what? He was caught by police in Kansas again just two weeks later in March!

It’s truly unimaginable how many criminals and even terrorists are getting into our country while the entire world knows that our border agents are taken off their jobs. CBP of Arizona announced last week that it apprehended people from a number of non-Western Hemisphere countries, including from Afghanistan and Yemen. Those were the ones they caught. Who was not caught? If I were the Iranian regime and really wanted to get operatives into the country undetected, now is the most auspicious time.

The president is right to blame Congress for refusing to get tougher, but at the end of the day we already have tough immigration laws. They need to be enforced. And as president of the United States, with full control over foreign affairs, foreign commerce, and entry into our country, he can shut down the entire border and refuse to process any immigration requests. This will free up all the agents to focus exclusively on keeping out criminals and national security threats from our nation – you know, what we all thought the mission of Border Patrol was supposed to be in the first place. That way, fewer American children will be separated from their parents by the grave.
