Climate change activists across London have been protesting going on two weeks, but one woman took her protest to the next level and glued her breasts to Fleet Street outside of Goldman Sachs.

The Sun reported that the woman — who was protesting with Extinction Rebellion — glued her top half to the road outside the global investment company Goldman Sachs.

Extinction Rebellion: Nearly 1,100 Protesters Arrested

By BBC. Police cleared Extinction Rebellion’s final road block in Marble Arch earlier and arrested 22 people, bringing the total to 1,088 since protests began.

Specialist equipment has been deployed in Parliament Square to remove protesters camping in trees.

Makeshift camps at Oxford Circus and Waterloo Bridge were removed earlier in the week.

One protester told the BBC: “This is our last stand.”

Killer Accused of Beheading, Torturing Cellmate

By AP. One convicted killer has been accused of beheading another in what authorities call an exceptionally sadistic torture slaying at a California prison.

Corcoran State Prison inmate Jaime Osuna removed several body parts from his cellmate, Luis Romero, Assistant Kings County District Attorney Phil Esbenshade said Friday. Charges accuse Osuna, 31, of repeatedly cutting Romero last month using what the prosecutor called a sharp metal object wrapped in string and attached to a handle.

It’s not clear how much happened while Romero, 44, was still alive or whether anyone heard the overnight assault, but “we do believe that the victim was conscious during at least a portion of the time,” Esbenshade said in an email. “This is the most gruesome case that I have seen in terms of heinousness in the slaying.” (Read more from “Killer Accused of Beheading, Torturing Cellmate” HERE)

California Inmate Decapitated Cellmate, Severed Body Parts, Police Say

By ABC 7. Authorities say Osuna decapitated Luis Romero and then proceeded to sever several of his body parts, including an eye and a finger.

He’s also accused of cutting out part of Romero’s lung.

Romero bled to death and was found by prison staff during a morning security check.
“There was a weapon located inside the cell,” Esbenshade said. “It looked like it had been manufactured from some sort of razor that may have been issued. It had some string around it, so that’s the only weapon that was located inside the cell.”

This week, prosecutors filed four felony charges against Osuna, including torture, mayhem, and murder with four special allegations, including a prior murder conviction, making him eligible for the death penalty. Elderly Pro-Life Woman Attacked Outside Abortion Clinic

By Townhall. An elderly pro-life woman was attacked and thrown to the ground last month outside of an abortion clinic in Kentucky, suffering a broken leg and multiple head injuries.

The incident was captured on video by a surveillance camera outside of the EMW Women’s Surgical Center in Louisville.

The victim is long-time pro-life sidewalk counselor Donna Durning. She can be seen in the video being pushed to the ground, after calmly approaching a woman who’d exited the abortion facility. Durning said she was merely attempting to give the woman some literature about a crisis pregnancy center.

“I had a little card from Little Way Crisis pregnancy center, and I just offered it to her. And I said, ‘Honey, if you need to talk to anybody, there’s a number on here,’” the pro-lifer said, WLKY News reported. . .

Anti-Abortion Activist Says She Was Assaulted Outside Kentucky’s Last Abortion Clinic

By WLKY. Durning has approached countless women outside of abortion clinics over the last 23 years.

“I was there, as I am five days a week, talking to girls, offering them alternatives to abortion,” Durning explained.

But this encounter went differently. Durning said the woman came after her and threw her to the ground.

“I saw a lot of hatred in her face and, I’m not exaggerating, I saw the face of Satan in her eyes,” Durning said.

Oof: Team Biden Didn’t Contact Family of Woman Killed in Charlottesville Before Invoking Her Memory in Launch Video

In my post assessing Joe Biden’s candidacy yesterday, I registered my surprise at the darkness of his rollout video’s tone and themes. The very first word of the clip is “Charlottesville,” and much of the subsequent content featured images and audio from that terrible 2017 weekend. Biden reportedly wanted to launch his campaign with a rally in that city, but his team pulled the plug on that idea when some residents expressed concerns about politicizing those events. One might imagine that Biden’s brain trust would have realized that weighing community sentiment and buy-in would be an important component of planning any such address, but it seems like they were forced to scrap their idea to dodge a potentially-avoidable controversy. Having endured that (mostly) behind-the-scenes drama, one might also imagine that because they were going to lean so heavily into the Charlottesville narrative in their first public communication about a brand new campaign, they would have been extra careful about their approach. For instance, surely they would have had the good sense to check in with the family of the young woman who was killed by a white supremacist in that awful melee prior to featuring her memory in a partisan video, right? Wrong:

This is political malpractice, plain and simple. A big, unforced, unthinking, amateurish error on literally the first public manifestation of Biden’s presidential campaign. A large team had been building toward yesterday’s announcement for months. How did this happen? And on a related issue of preparedness and professionalism, how could this happen?

New Details Released on Health of 5-Year-Old Thrown off Balcony

The 5-year-old Landen Hoffmann, the boy who was thrown off a third-story balcony at the Mall of America earlier this month, is “alert and conscious” following weeks of hospitalization after the vicious attack.

In a statement posted to the GoFundMe for Hoffmann, which raised over $1,000,000, Hoffmann’s family said:

All praise, glory and honor to God! He saved our son’s life and is healing him in the most miraculous ways. We are so elated to let you know that our son is now alert and conscious and is no longer in critical condition! We are now turning our focus to additional surgeries, healing, rehabilitation and eventually a return home, which we hope will happen by June.

The Horrifying Case That Proves Our Parental Rights Are Under Serious Attack in This Country

Reason has a horrifying and harrowing report from Robby Soave detailing the months-long saga of corruption and abuse that a family suffered at the hands of law enforcement and child protective services. It is well worth reading the whole article, which I will only briefly summarize here.

The Lowther family of New Mexico found themselves in the crosshairs after a teacher at the four-year-old daughter’s school claimed that the girl reported that she’d been sexually abused by her father and her seven-year-old brother. The district attorney (DA) would eventually decline to move forward with the case because there was no evidence whatsoever, the child’s story changed wildly in the telling and included a number of obviously fantastical details, the father passed multiples polygraph tests, and it’s likely that the girl was really just describing her father helping her wipe after using the toilet (something all parents have done for their children many times). But in between the initial “report” from the girl and the DA’s decision to drop the whole matter, the Lowther family was ripped apart, the children were placed in foster care, the father was fired from his job and labeled a child rapist by the media, the young girl was subjected to lengthy interrogations and extraordinarily invasive physical exams, the family was forced to shell out $300,000 in legal expenses, and the accused father and his wife were both summarily stripped of all parental rights, not to mention their Fourth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendment rights as well.

The most frightening aspect of the story is the malicious and underhanded manner with which the New Mexico Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD) and local police operated throughout the proceedings. They decided from the outset that Adam Lowther must be guilty (because who has ever heard of a four-year-old kid telling fanciful stories?) and treated him like a child-raping felon, accordingly. These agencies were interested in establishing guilt by whatever means necessary, not ascertaining the objective truth. They also had the advantage of a system that automatically turns entire families into wards of the state as soon as someone in government decides that someone in that family may have done something wrong. . .

After being contacted by the school, the police forced their way into the family’s home, without a warrant, and forbade the mother, Jessica, from speaking to her children. Eventually, the children would end up in foster care. They were briefly returned to Jessica’s custody (Adam was not allowed to see his kids for several months after the initial arrest), but she had to have her parents move in and act as “safety monitors.” The children were removed from their mother’s custody once again when CYFD got word that the safety monitors didn’t believe in Adam’s guilt.

It is the nightmare scenario that every parent dreads. What if your child goes to school with a story he made up in his head, or repeats something he heard from a friend, or for whatever other reason says something that accidentally implicates you as an abuser or worse? Lawmaker’s Harrowing Testimony: I Saw Born-Alive Babies Drowned in Saline After Botched Abortions

Testifying in support for a bill (Bill 359) seeking to protect babies born alive from botched abortions in North Carolina, Republican state representative Pat McElraft recalled horrifying experiences that she witnessed at the hands of a late-term abortionist when she previously worked in the medical field.

After passing the state House and Senate, the bill was eventually vetoed by Governor Roy Cooper (D-NC). But McElraft’s harrowing testimony offers a chilling inside looks at late-term abortion, which is increasingly being relentlessly pushed by the Democratic Party.

“You will hear from opponents of Bill 359 that there is no need for this bill. ‘We don’t have is happening in North Carolina.’ I can testify to the fact that infanticide has happened in North Carolina. I’ve been witness to the results of those late-term abortions,” stated the lawmaker, reported Live Action.

“There was an abortionist in Jacksonville, North Carolina, who was known nationally for performing late term abortions,” the Republican continued. “We heard of many girls who came from other states to North Carolina — Jacksonville, North Carolina, to have their late-term abortions. Even hitchhiking down from New York, some of them did, to come in — those were the days when saline abortions were performed.” . . .

“Nurses told of stories of the babies that were born alive and [had] been taken by the doctor and turned over with their faces down in the saline to drown,” she recalled. “Most of the nurses refused to work with this abortionist. The Democrats’ Thirst for Power Is Dividing America

The Democrats’ thirst for power is a root cause of the deep political division in America. In every major issue facing our country, Democrats seek to inflict as much damage on President Trump as possible in order to boost their political prospects in the 2020 elections. The Democrat goal is to destroy President Trump at all costs, even if the consequence of a polarized America achieves Russian President Vladimir’s objective.

The reaction to special counsel Robert Mueller’s report is a perfect example of twisting the findings as the means to the Democrat political end. It was impeach President Trump, Russia collusion, and obstruction of justice before the Mueller report was released, and it remains impeach President Trump, Russia collusion, and obstruction of justice after the release of the Mueller report.

In the eyes of Democrats, the Mueller report was a vehicle for manipulation to achieve maximum political advantage, regardless of the truth. The report on Russian interference in the 2016 election was written by 19 lawyers after information was collected from 2,800 subpoenas and 500 witnesses, at an estimated cost of $31 million.

Democrats aren’t giving up on the Russia collusion theory even though the report slammed the door on their narrative that the president and his campaign worked with Russia to ensure then-candidate Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election. Democrats are also clinging to the fact that Mueller did not take a position on whether President Trump obstructed justice, which is another avenue to damage the president through additional investigations and possible impeachment.

The Mueller report had zero impact on Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif. Waters believed there was collusion with Russia before Mueller’s report, and its findings didn’t change her mind. During an interview on MSNBC, Waters said the information in the Mueller report “on collusion and conspiracy” supported an impeachment effort. Waters was an early advocate for impeaching the president, long before the report.

Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is also adamant that there is Russia collusion, after the release of the Mueller report.

On “Meet the Press,” Nadler questioned Mueller for not charging Donald Trump Jr. for criminal conspiracy over the Trump Tower meeting, because, according to his analysis, the goal of meeting was to obtain material stolen from Hillary Clinton.

According to The Daily Caller, the meeting with a Russian lawyer at Trump Tower was not predicated on getting stolen material but on obtaining damaging information about Clinton’s undertakings with Russia.

The information provided by Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya was not stolen documents but opposition research put together by Fusion GPS, and the Mueller report concluded, “Although damaging opposition research is surely valuable to a campaign, it appears that the information ultimately delivered in the meeting was not valuable.”

Despite being wrong about the stolen information accusation, Nadler was successful in promoting anti-Trump propaganda on a national TV broadcast.

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, is not giving up on his views about Russia collusion despite the findings of the Mueller report. Schiff previously stated that “there is plenty of evidence of collusion and conspiracy in plain sight,” but qualified his statement by adding it’s the responsibility of Mueller to determine whether a crime was committed.

Now that Mueller has not established a criminal conspiracy with Russia, Schiff is repeating the collusion theory on TV and tweeting about the report to make the president look bad. Schiff is not giving up chasing collusion crime windmills. He plans to use the power of the House Intelligence Committee to continue an investigation surrounding counterintelligence matters in the hope of finding that a foreign power compromised President Trump or anyone associated with the president.

Schiff has also not ruled out impeaching the president for obstruction of justice.

Speaking at the Time 100 Summit, White House senior adviser and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner blamed the Mueller investigation for damaging and dividing the country.

Nepal Deports American, Makes Numerous Arrests on Allegations of Converting People to Christianity

Nepalese authorities arrested four people Tuesday and deported a U.S. citizen on allegations of illegally converting people to Christianity by “allurement,” sparking outcry from Christian advocates.

Police officers arrested two men and two women, one of whom is a resident of Colorado, around 8 a.m. Tuesday, a day after the group of four attended a one day conference for pastors with 70 others at a local church, according to Christian Solidarity Worldwide. . .

Nepal instituted anti-conversion laws in August 2018, which raised concerns with the U.S. State Department as U.S. officials see potential for the law to be used to restrict religious freedoms. Those convicted of proselytizing or converting others to another religion face a penalty of up to five years in prison and a maximum fine of 50,000 rupees.

Mervyn Thomas, chief executive of CSW, also condemned the arrests as harassment and urged Nepalese authorities to release the Christians and drop any charges against them.

“We urge Nepal to respect the right of all religious minorities to practice their faith or belief through worship, observation, teaching and practice,” Thomas said. “Section 158 of the penal code emboldens both state and non-state actors to harass and prosecute innocent people who are simply exercising their right to freedom of religion or belief. Parrot ‘Taken Into Custody’ for Warning Drug Dealers of Raid

By Breitbart. Police took a parrot into custody in Brazil on Monday after it warned two drug dealers about an undercover raid, authorities confirmed this week.

According to local reports, when the parrot noticed police officers Tuesday at its owners’ house in Teresina, it squawked, “Mum, the Police!” in Portuguese.

Despite the bird’s best efforts to alert its owners to the raid, police successfully arrested a man on charges of drug trafficking. Crack and heroin were found at the property as well as large quantities of money.

Police officers believe the parrot had been trained to spot police vehicles. “He must have been trained for this,” said one officer involved in the operation. “As soon as the police got close he started shouting.”
