A Pedophile Is Claiming He ‘Identifies’ as an 8-Year-Old Girl

A convicted sex offender in Michigan is heading to prison for 10–20 years after being caught with child pornography on his computer. What makes this case interesting is the defense that 45-year-old Joseph Gobrick offered in court. Speaking to a judge at his sentencing hearing, Gobrick claimed that he has a First Amendment right to look at child porn. He also claimed that he identifies as an eight-year-old girl.

“I’ve always been an eight-year-old girl,’’ Gobrick contended. “Even in my drawings and fantasies, I am always an eight-year-old girl. … There are adults having sex with me in an online forum as an eight-year-old girl.”

The judge apparently did not find this argument persuasive. No reasonable person would. But an obvious question is raised here. Why exactly can’t Gobrick identity as a young girl? On what basis can we deny or disqualify his self-identification?

Again, the reasonable among us know the answer. He can’t identify as one because he isn’t one. According to all available metrics, he is a 45-year-old pervert, not a third grader. He cannot choose to be a different age. He is the age he is, and that’s all there is to it. It is either insanity or willful deception that causes him to make this claim about himself. We therefore are perfectly justified in refuting his self-identity and refusing to play along with it. More than merely justified, we are in fact morally obliged to insist on truth over harmful fantasies and delusions. Navy: Top-Secret UFO Files Could ‘Gravely Damage’ U.S. National Security

The Department of Defense has top-secret classified briefings and a classified video about a UFO incident.

The U.S. Navy acknowledged the existence of the information, which concerns a 2004 encounter between the USS Nimitz and strange unknown aerial objects, in response to a public records request from Vice. . .

Responding to Vice’s Freedom of Information Act request, the Navy said it had “discovered certain briefing slides that are classified TOP SECRET. Mueller Witness Pleads Guilty to Child Porn, Sex Trafficking

A political hobnobber who featured prominently as a key witness in former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation faces at least a decade in prison after pleading guilty to charges of child sex trafficking and possessing child pornography.

Lebanese-American businessman George Nader, 60, entered a plea deal Monday in federal court in Alexandria, Va., admitting to transporting a 14-year-old boy from the Czech Republic to Washington, D.C., in 2000 to engage in sexual activity with him. He also admitted to possessing child pornography depicting infants or toddlers.

Nader is still separately under indictment in Washington along with seven others on charges of conspiring to conceal the source of more than $3.5 million in political donations to Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign. Nader allegedly was reporting to an unnamed Middle Eastern government on that operation, which was intended to curry favor with Clinton, prosecutors in that case said.

In the meantime, the pornography charge itself carries a 10-year mandatory minimum sentence. Prosecutors agreed as part of the plea bargain to recommend a 10-year sentence when Nader is sentenced April 10, although the judge will be free to impose a significantly longer sentence of up to 30 years if she chooses.

Nader’s name appears more than 100 times in Mueller’s report. It details Nader’s efforts to serve as a liaison for a January 2017 meeting between a Russian banker with ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin and members of President Trump’s transition team. Another Dem Just Dropped out of 2020 (VIDEO)

New Jersey senator Cory Booker has ended his bid for the White House, ahead of tomorrow’s Democratic Debate which he failed to qualify for.

Booker’s departure from the crowded race was ultimately due to a lack of ability to fundraise; the New Jersey native never truly saw momentum and ultimately failed to differentiate himself within the field of presidential hopefuls. Booker never broke 5 percent in a national poll.

Throughout the campaign, Booker tried to distinguish himself as a qualified minority candidate, but hardly gained steam. After former Obama Administration HUD Secretary Julián Castro exited the race, also due to a lack of fundraising, Booker attempted to gain a last-minute fundraising haul, citing minority candidates being left out of the race[.]

Warren Claims Bernie Sanders Said a Democratic Woman Can’t Become President

Elizabeth Warren backed up reports that Sen. Bernie Sanders said in a 2018 meeting that he did not think Democrats could win an election with a female nominee.

“Bernie and I met for more than two hours in December 2018 to discuss the 2020 election, our past work together, and our shared goals: beating Donald Trump, taking back our government from the wealthy and well-connected, and building an economy that works for everyone,” Warren, 70, said in a statement Monday.

The Massachusetts senator continued: “Among the topics that came up was what would happen if Democrats nominated a female candidate. I thought a woman could win; he disagreed.”

CNN broke the story earlier Monday, citing two people Warren talked to right after the meeting and two others who were familiar with it. The Warren campaign initially did not comment on the story. . .

WATCH: ‘Gang of Eight’ Democrats Shocked by Russians Hacking Burisma

By Washington Examiner. Top Democratic leaders in Congress said they were caught completely off guard by a report on Russia hacking the Ukrainian natural gas company at the center of President Trump’s impeachment.

In back-to-back interviews Monday evening, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer claimed they were only just hearing of the breach when asked by MSNBC host Rachel Maddow.

“I have to say, Rachel, I’m a bit distressed to see this for the first time in a newspaper report. If the intel community is aware of this, that should have been brought to our attention by now,” Schiff said.

“But I don’t find it surprising. I do find it deeply disturbing, and I would hope that maybe both parties can get out ahead of this, even if the president won’t, and condemn any Russian effort to influence the next election,” the California Democrat added.

The New York Times reported that security analysts believe Russian hackers from the GRU targeted subsidiaries of Burisma on New Year’s Eve as well as Kvartal 95, a Ukrainian television production company founded by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The report, which notes that it is unclear what the hackers were looking for or what they may have found, does not have any immediate comment from the Russian government or Burisma. Ukrainian Gas Firm Burisma Hacked by Russians in All-Too-Familiar Phishing Scheme, Cybersecurity Company Finds

By ABC News. Russian government hackers successfully penetrated the internal systems of Burisma, the Ukrainian-based oil and gas firm that once employed former Vice President Joe Biden’s son, a Silicon Valley-based cybersecurity company has found.

Area 1, the cybersecurity outfit, issued a report detailing Russian GRU phishing efforts beginning in November 2019 aimed at “targeting the email credentials of employees at Burisma Holdings and its subsidiaries and partners” in an effort to “gain control of [Burisma’s] internal systems.”

“Our report is not noteworthy because we identify the GRU launching a phishing campaign, nor is the targeting of a Ukranian company particularly novel. It is significant because Burisma Holdings is publically entangled in U.S. foreign and domestic politics,” the report’s authors wrote. John Kerry: Trump’s Soleimani Story a ‘Cover-Up’; Trump Authorized Soleimani’s Killing 7 Months Ago

Trump Authorized Soleimani’s Killing 7 Months Ago

By NBC News. President Donald Trump authorized the killing of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani seven months ago if Iran’s increased aggression resulted in the death of an American, according to five current and former senior administration officials.

The presidential directive in June came with the condition that Trump would have final signoff on any specific operation to kill Soleimani, officials said.

That decision explains why assassinating Soleimani was on the menu of options that the military presented to Trump two weeks ago for responding to an attack by Iranian proxies in Iraq, in which a U.S. contractor was killed and four U.S. service members were wounded, the officials said.

The timing, however, could undermine the Trump administration’s stated justification for ordering the U.S. drone strike that killed Soleimani in Baghdad on Jan. 3. Officials have said Soleimani, the leader of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ elite Quds Force, was planning imminent attacks on Americans and had to be stopped. Kansas Man Requests ‘Trial by Combat’ in Court

A Kansas man has requested that an Iowa court grant his motion for a “trial by combat” to settle a custody dispute with his ex-wife and her attorney on the battlefield.

David Ostrom, 40, of Paola, Kansas, has cited in court documents that his ex-wife, Bridgette Ostrom, 38, of Harlan, Iowa, has “destroyed (him) legally,” the Des Moines Register reported Monday.

The Carroll Times-Herald reported that Ostrom filed a request with the Iowa District Court in Shelby County to give him 12 weeks to source or forge Japanese swords used in battle. . .

Ostrom told the Register that he got the idea for the duel after he learned about a 2016 New York Supreme Court case in which New York Supreme Court Justice Philip Minardo said that duels had not been abolished under state law.

State Lawmakers Propose Bill to Legalize Prostitution

A bill to legalize adult prostitution in Vermont was recently introduced by female lawmakers in the state’s legislature.

The bill’s text read:

This bill proposes to repeal the prostitution laws while retaining felony human trafficking laws that prohibit recruiting, enticing, harboring, transporting, providing, or obtaining a minor for the purpose of commercial sex; patronizing a minor for commercial sex; recruiting, enticing, harboring, transporting, providing, or obtaining any person through force, fraud, or coercion for the purpose of having the person engage in commercial sex; compelling any person through force, fraud, or coercion to engage in commercial sex; and patronizing any person for a commercial sex act who is being compelled through force, fraud, or coercion to engage in a commercial sex.

One of the bill’s sponsors, Rep. Selene Colburn who is a Burlington Progressive, said she believed decriminalizing so-called “sex work” would offer prostitutes more safety and improve their health.

Gay Student Dies in Apparent Suicide After Going Viral for Protesting Drag Queen Story Hour (VIDEO)

A gay man who went viral for protesting a drag queen story hour died Monday in an apparent suicide.

President of the University of Queensland’s conservative Liberal National Club Wilson Gavin died early Monday morning in Brisbane, Australia, at the age of 21, Buzzfeed reports. His death came a day after Gavin sparked internet backlash by protesting a drag queen story hour with about 20 others from the Liberal National Club. . .

Gavin and his fellow club members “stormed” into the Sunday morning drag queen story hour at Brisbane Square Library, chanting “drag queens are not for kids,” according to a video from the Australian news outlet Sunrise.

Gavin’s protest caused outrage among prominent Australians and Twitter users who condemned the protest using the hashtag #Istandwithqueens, Buzzfeed reports.

LGBTQIA+ & Human Rights Activist Johnny Valkyrie, who is transgender, posted on Facebook that the protest “was planned and targeted at me. It hurt and affected so many others.
