“You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg,” Gervais told the A-list crowd at the top of the show. . .

Ghislaine Maxwell Under Ex-Special Forces Guard; New Photos Released of Jeffrey Epstein’s Body

By Fox News Business. British socialite and former Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell is reportedly being guarded by former U.S. Navy SEALs amid conflicting reports about where she’s hiding out.

Maxwell faces “credible death threats” and is being guarded by former U.S. Navy SEALs in safe houses in the American Midwest, a source told The Daily Mail.

“There has been so much rubbish written about Ghislaine. The reality is she receives multiple, credible death threats on a daily basis. The hate mail is sometimes 2 [feet] high,” the source said according to The Daily Mail. “She is constantly moving. Her life is in danger. She is being guarded by the best of the very best and that includes former U.S. Navy SEALs. She’s not under the protection of any government. She’s on her own.”

New Photos of Jeffrey Epstein’s Body, Sheet He Used to ‘Hang Himself’

By New York Post. Newly revealed photos show Jeffrey Epstein’s face frozen in death and the torn strip of orange prison bedsheet he allegedly used as a noose to hang himself.

The photos — which include the convicted pedophile’s corpse both naked and in a hospital gown laying on a gurney — were released by CBS TV’s “60 Minutes’’ Sunday as part of a segment that included an interview with former New York City Medical Examiner Dr. Michael Baden.

Baden, who was hired by Epstein’s brother, Mark, to observe an autopsy on the disgraced financier, was asked if he thought he killed himself in his Manhattan jail cell in August — as the current ME says — or was the victim of something more sinister.

“The forensic evidence released so far, including autopsy, point much more to murder and strangulation than the suicide and suicidal hanging,” Baden replied.

WATCH: Russian Pranksters Dupe Maxine Waters by Calling as Greta Thunberg Claiming to Have Dirt on Trump

. . .The 81-year-old career politician — who has been calling for Trump’s impeachment since the day he took office — appears to have been tricked by Russian pranksters into thinking she was talking to Greta Thunberg, who reportedly claimed she had dirt on Trump.

The pranksters, Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, who go by the stage names Vovan and Lexus, recently posted a video of them talking to a woman, who identified herself as Maxine Waters in the audio. One pretends to be Greta, the other to be her father.

The conversation begins with the fake Greta telling Waters that she is in North Carolina at a climate summit calling for the protection of the fake “Chon-Go-Chango” islands. . .

“It was a really terrible meeting in the U.N. building in September with him. And I had nightmares afterwards. It’s terrible,” fake Greta told Waters. “I saw him in the hallway. He was with security and I shouted at him, ‘Sign the Paris Climate Agreement again!’ He came over, he leaned in towards me, and said softly, ‘Listen carefully to me, little girl. You will never achieve your goal, like the congressional goal, trying to accuse me.’”

“He said you will never achieve your goal? Oh my goodness.” Waters said, sounding shocked. “Did you ask him if he would rethink signing the Paris Climate Agreement? Is that your question to him?”

Here’s How the Airstrike That Killed Soleimani Affected Trump’s Approval Rating

President Donald Trump’s approval rating has increased sharply following the impeachment proceedings against him and his decision to order the airstrike that killed Qassem Soleimani, Iran’s top terrorism architect.

According to RealClearPolitics, Trump’s average approval rating now stands at 45.3 percent, up from a low 41.6 percent just two months ago after Democrats began their formal impeachment investigation.

Since the airstrike that killed Soleimani, Trump’s approval has risen one percent.

The rating is nearly a three-year high, the Washington Examiner noted. Trump’s approval rating has not been this high since Feb. 2017, just two weeks after his inauguration when he notched a 46 percent approval rating. U.S. General Says We’re Leaving Iraq, Defense Secretary Says Not so Fast

President Donald Trump stated over the weekend that if Iraq forces the U.S. military to leave that it will be hit very tough sanctions.

“We have a very extraordinarily expensive air base that’s there,” Trump said of Iraq. “It cost billions of dollars to build. Long before my time. We’re not leaving unless they pay us back for it.”

“If they do ask us to leave, if we don’t do it in a very friendly basis, we will charge them sanctions like they’ve never seen before ever. ‘Mistake’: Pentagon Says Iraq Withdrawal Letter Was Not Authorized

By Politico. The Pentagon on Monday disputed that U.S. troops are preparing to withdraw from Iraq — after a leaked letter from a U.S. general suggested plans are underway to prepare troops to leave following the Iraqi Parliament’s Sunday vote calling for their removal.

The misfire added yet another layer of confusion to an already murky situation days after the region erupted in response to the U.S. drone attack that killed Iranian military leader Qassem Soleimani at the Baghdad airport. It also raised new questions about the Pentagon’s intentions as it faces new threats from Iranian militias in Iraq even as it seeks to defeat the remnants of the Islamic State terrorist group.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper and Army Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, took the usual step of holding an impromptu question-and-answer session with reporters at the Pentagon after media outlets reported a top US. general on Monday informed an Iraqi counterpart that American personnel are initiating steps for a possible withdrawal. . .

But Milley, agreeing the letter was a “mistake,” told reporters it was only a draft and had not been sent. He said he had just spoken to Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, the head of U.S. Central Command, about it.

U.S. Informs Iraqi Government About Repositioning of Coalition Forces

By NPR. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper announced on Monday that some forces are being repositioned inside Iraq, not leaving the country.

Two other U.S. officials told NPR that some are going to Kuwait temporarily.

The troop movement — signaled by heavy helicopter traffic out of a U.S. base in central Baghdad — was coupled with confusion about a letter sent by the U.S. military to Iraqi officials. That letter said the movements were in response to the Iraqi call for U.S. forces to leave the country, and the letter implied a withdrawal was underway. Late Monday, Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told reporters that the letter was “poorly worded.” . . .

The Pentagon press office underscored the message, saying in a tweet, “There has been no change in US policy with regard to our force presence in Iraq. We continue to consult with the Iraqi government regarding the defeat-ISIS mission and efforts to support the Iraqi Security Forces.”

Qassem Soleimani Eulogist Offers $80 Million Bounty for Donald Trump’s Head During Iranian General’s Funeral

By Newsweek. A eulogist speaking during funeral events for assassinated Iranian general Qassem Soleimani has called for a multi-million dollar bounty on President Donald Trump as mourning continues for the slain Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander.

Huge crowds packed the streets of Tehran on Monday as the regime held a funeral service for Soleimani, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Baghdad on Friday. He was the commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force, and oversaw Iran’s foreign military strategy and covert operations.

His funeral procession travelled through various cities and sites in Iraq and Iran on its way to Tehran. In the eastern Iranian city of Mashhad, enormous crowds attended the event, which was broadcast live on Iran’s state-owned Channel One TV station.

Hunter Biden Accused of Identity Theft – Here’s Why

Hunter Biden’s long history of drug abuse and the efforts taken to conceal that addiction are taking center stage in the ongoing paternity suit against him in Arkansas.

A private investigator hired by Lunden Roberts, a one-time stripper with whom Biden sired a child, filed documents in Arkansas circuit court on Monday alleging Biden engaged in identity theft to hide his addiction. In particular, the private investigator cited the instance—that Breitbart News first broke last year—in which Biden’s personal effects were found in a rental car in Prescott, Arizona.

Inside the vehicle, which Biden initially rented from a Hertz location in California, was “a white powdery” residue, later confirmed to be cocaine, and a a pipe used to smoke the illegal substance, according to a police report obtained by Breitbart News. Also found was evidence linking the car to Biden, including two drivers’ licenses and credits cards with his legal name, “a secret service business card,” and a Delaware attorney general’s badge from his late-brother’s tenure in the position.

The police report, filed shortly after the car was returned, also described the strange circumstances the car rental site’s employees were subject to in the aftermath of the vehicle’s appearance:

The next morning, according to the police report, a man who identified himself as “Joseph McGee” called the Hertz rental car counter to inform them of how the keys to the car were left in the vehicle’s gas cap rather than in the normal spot. “McGee” informed the rental car company employee, according to police, that “his friend was feeling sick so they didn’t know what to do” when the car was returned. Police, according to a supplemental report filed by a Prescott Police Department detective, sought and obtained a subpoena to discover the source of the “Joseph McGee” phone call—and traced it to a phone number owned and operated by a renowned “Colon Hydrotherapist” in the region.

Flashback: Obama Bombed Countries, Went to War, Used ‘Kill List’ Without Congress

Democrats plan to pass a resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives this week declaring that President Donald Trump violated international law with last week’s airstrike against terrorist Iranian General Qasem Suleimani. . .

But few Democrats raised objections when President Barack Obama went to war — often exceeding the boundaries of his legal authority as president. The most notorious case was the Libya War, which President Obama launched in March 2011 without congressional authorization. He continued the war effort beyond the War Powers Resolution’s deadlines because, the administration argued, the U.S. was not engaged in “hostilities” but “leading from behind.”

Some on the left bent over backwards to defend Obama’s unconstitutional war. Former Yale Law School dean Harold Koh was once “one of the country’s foremost defenders of the notion that the president of the United States can’t wage wars without the approval of Congress,” the New York Times noted, but later became “the administration’s defender of the right to stay engaged in a conflict against Libya without Congressional approval.” . . .

Obama later abandoned that plan, but he did bomb Syria during the campaign against the so-called “Islamic State” (or ISIS, which he called “ISIL”). He also dropped “26,171 bombs” on Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and Pakistan in 2016 alone, according to the Council on Foreign Relations — often for reasons tangentially related to the 9/11-era Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF). And in 2012, the Obama White House leaked to the Times that in addition to killing Osama bin Laden, he personally oversaw a terrorist “kill list.” Few protested, other than Sens. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Ron Wyden (D-OR), the former mounting a filibuster to protest the use of drones against U.S. citizens — including in the hypothetical example that they would be used in the United States. U.S. Begins Collecting DNA Information From Detained Migrants

The U.S. government has launched a small-scale pilot program that collects DNA samples from detained migrants, and plans to dramatically expand its reach in the near future.

Beginning Monday, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will begin collecting DNA information from migrants who are detained near Detroit, as well as individuals detained at the Eagle Pass, Texas port of entry, which sits across the U.S.-Mexico border. The announcement was made by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the parent department of CBP, and is part of a 90-day pilot program.

The DHS directive calls on CBP agents to take saliva swabs of those detained at the Detroit and Eagle Pass locations, and then to send that DNA information to the FBI.

“During the 90-day pilot program, CBP will collect DNA samples from certain individuals held at both locations. For the U.S. Border Patrol, this will include individuals between the ages of 14-79 who are apprehended and processed within the Detroit Sector. For the Office of Field Operations [in southern Texas], this will include individuals who present at the Eagle Pass Port of Entry for consideration of admissibility and are subject to further detention or proceedings,” read a portion of the memo.

The DNA testing can apply to nearly anyone who has been detained by CBP, including foreign nationals, permanent residents, and U.S. citizens. Refusal to comply could lead to a misdemeanor criminal charge, and DNA will be collected indefinitely at a criminal database run by the FBI. Woman Alleges Harvey Weinstein Raped Her and ‘Threatened Her Life’ If She Told Anyone: Docs

By People. A woman who alleges she was raped in 2013 by movie mogul Harvey Weinstein in her hotel room following a Hollywood film festival says she delayed telling anyone because he “threatened her life” if she did, according to newly released documents.

The allegation, and the unnamed woman’s response to it, both are detailed in paperwork filed Monday in Los Angeles County, where the prosecutor announced four new felony sexual assault charges involving two alleged victims on the same day Weinstein went to trial in New York on unrelated sexual assault claims.

Weinstein has pleaded not guilty to the New York charges. Juda Engelmayer, a spokesman for Weinstein, did not immediately respond to a request from PEOPLE for a comment to the California charges.

“We believe the evidence will show that the defendant used his power and influence to gain access to his victims and then commit violent crimes against them,” District Attorney Jackie Lacey said in a statement announcing the charges. “I want to commend the victims who have come forward and bravely recounted what happened to them.
